Title: is bitfinex.com scam or legit? Post by: mody0101 on April 22, 2017, 07:58:05 PM I have some bitcoin in private wallet and now i need to sell them and i found the best price in is bitfinex.com and i need to add BTCs on it and withdraw funds to my bank.

While they might not be a scam company, preventing people withdraw/deposit funds lately raised suspicions. If you want to be safe, just trade on somewhere else. Too many people here see them as the new possible Gox.

Was it depositing or withdrawing, I can't remember which one did they suspend recently, but they are definitely having problems with those kind of stuff. There was even a person who couldn't withdraw his bitcoins for a time but then it got fixed. I suggest you to use another exchange.
