Total supply is 42,176,111 LYS, and there are no bounties yet, but if so, I will let you reserve indonesian.

That portion of technical specifications is too small to read everything well. I must say another very good idea on what the project is being built. This experiment will be successful in my opinion and you have chance to collect huge fund as well. I also am interested in such solid ideas.

The distribution will be generated through POW and POS mining, but if you are talking about an initial giveaway, yes, it would be somewhat like an airdrop. The size of the initial giveaway and the possibility of bounties will depend on the amount of premine we decide on.

Ok. And no, this is not an ICO. At most we'll do small air drops and giveaways using parts of premine on release, but I don't consider going over 5% premine a good idea.

You know what would be cool? Kind of like an erowid type of site, where there would be for example a bounty pool for adding information about various psychedelics.
And then you could earn by adding information, and getting the information approved.

I like your idea. We are not an ICO so it will not be possible to continuously distribute bounties for an erowid like wiki site, but I am thinking of a system where users can easily tip those who contribute information, which will provide more incentive for sharing information. Websites like psychonaut wiki and erowid come to mind but it would be beneficial to establish our own unique features. I will definitley be keeping this idea in mind.

I am reworking the generation paramaters. Please let me know if you prefer equal proof of work/proof of stake block reward (25) or different. Also, should the proof of stake be longer than what is currently planned? (18 months until the first block halving). I am thinking a POS without end to preserve a greater network balance but a stake reward of only 1LYS after 18months.

I also want to add random block rewards (eg. a random digit between 0 and 5 added to the original 25LYS block reward) and a small chance (0.1%) of multiplying your block reward.

Airdrop is not decided yet, but I will plan that out closer to release. Nothing too crazy will be demanded to join, I will probably just want to make sure you are an active user (eg. Jr Member or 150 reddit karma). Both of you will surely qualify if we do decide to host one ;)

We don't need translation at the current moment, but you can reserve Dutch if we ever need one.

Anybody who is the first to reserve a translation for their language will be accounted for if we ever need your service. Keep in mind if you are inactive during that time we may chose somebody else.

If you do do an airdrop I would advise you to get everyone do at least one task to help with marketing outside of BTCTALK, like share on FB or twitter or on another forum/site. That will help get it more VIRAL and it's a win-win for everyone who will inevitably be invested in it.  :). As Crypto is one big EXPERIMENT it's time for a Psychedelic token to arrive on the scene. I like the amount of total coins as well. Was there any specific reason for that amount?  :)

I think he is taking that number from the total because I said I would not go above 5% premine. What I meant was that we would most not likely go above that amount of premined coins but will likely choose a lower value. The premine is one of the last things we can decide on so your feedback is appreciated!

I would really appreciate if you did like signature campaign, bounties and airdrop and such with most of the 5%.
Maybe 0.5-1% of premine to you would be the best amount, because it is kind of scary if the dev holds 5% of the premine, and scares away the potential investors.
What algo will this coin be? If you want, i can try setting up a pool for the launch when you have the coin source ready.

5% is not yet decided, it will likely be less. Yes, that make sense, I am not planning on keeping any large amounts of the premine. I am thinking to distribute the majority in initial airdrop and giveaways to decentralize such a large amount and keep the rest for a short signature campaign and bounties. Perhaps we can start the signature campaign pre release.

Yes, as of now, it is Blake2, but it is still within the realms of possibility to switch over. Development is going quickly and planning to release later next month gives me some extra time, so I am planning on a test-net stage so developers can configure and test their websites/services to have them up at launch. I'd be happy for you to run a pool, join the Discord so I can provide you with any information and help on having it ready for launch.

I am also very interested in developing an Android Wallet, but need to do a lot more research on this as I have never done mobile development. If anybody with knowledge in mobile wallets wishes to help or provide some guidance send me a message or better join our Discord (in the original post).

Yes, I will probably make such a premise. 5% is not the decided amount of premine, it is simply a maximum I mentioned.

It still is a crazy amount but at least the Dev has replied to our concerns which earns him some rep. If there sre good reasons for the premine and it is well justified then it is fine. I am thinking of, let's say, a lower amount then, 2.5%. Host giveaways and airdrops before the launch and then distribute 2% within the first day through a public address proving so. The rest can be using for bounties.

But don't get me wrong, I am not looking to make money, a premine will be for the sole benefit of the coin. If you all want 0% premine, then please say so, and that is possible too. No I agree with premine I support and like them. But as with everything they can be abused. I dont believe you plan to abuse it so I'm not worried but these are concerns we need to look into if we want a successful coin. I'll gladly take any give away or airdrops and stake my rewards. I dont plan to because i dont need pennies I'm cool ^^ I would much rather have this as a medium term investment.

When pow will start ?

Both PoW and PoS will start at launch. I'm implementing a very short anti-instamine by lowering the block reward to 1LYS for the first 190 blocks (close to an hour). Afterwards it'll return to the normal 25LYS reward.

Launch is later next month. Sorry if things seem quiet right now, we're still in development.

GPU for sure, and CPU mining with Blake2, though weaker, is still feasible. If we chose another algo we are only considering those that are ASIC resistant.

Yes, airdrop will most likely be through private keys. Unless you all prefer to update your entry with your address at launch, but private keys are probably more convenient.

Update to the coins specifications: Block target is increased from every 19 seconds to every 70 seconds. This is because of two reasons. One, and the most important, the old specifications generated too much of the coin too quickly. Two, too fast of a block speed results in a greater amount of orphaned blocks, which is really annoying when staking.

Additionally, PoS will not end. The block reward will halve around every 19 months, but after the fourth halving (6.44years), the PoS block reward will lock at 2.5LYS. PoW will be feasible for 54 halvings (87 years), and then the PoW reward will only be made up of transaction fees. However, once the PoW reward drops below 2.5LYS but the PoS reward remains static, PoS mining will overtake the majority.

When I'm done with all the backend stuff I will improve the graphics, but for now here are the updated specs:

Posting links in Google Forms would work and linked to the wallet address. Nothing which isn't already available to the public anyway.

Thing is I want to run the airdrop before release, so users cannot generate wallet addresses yet. One solution is when we release, I will send those who qualified a private key of an address containing their airdrop. All you need to do is import the key through console and move the balance to another address as the private key is shared with me.

There's no need to reserve a spot because there is no limit on entries. The total amount reserved for the airdrop will be divided by the total weight and distributed accordingly.

I'm joking, but yea, this Shrooms coin seems to be in a dilapidated state. I feel like besides the psychedelic theme Lysergion is pretty different.

It would be really cool if the wallet was themed somehow psychedelic, if you know what i mean. Also i think you should insert some hardcoded seednodes on the public release version, at least the compiled ones. I have seen some people to have problems with adding nodes into the config file.

As of right now I'm planning to put up two servers for release, each dedicated to running a full node. Mining pools and other community-made services may be able to provide some extra nodes, and I will consider adding some additional servers for the launch.

An update on what I'm doing, I'm improving the functionality of the website so we can potentially integrate the airdrop registration into the site membership. This way you'll be able to go back and edit your app, and maybe have the option between a private key or just updating your address after release.

Also integration with social platforms to make the promotion bonus for the airdrop more streamlined.

If I provide the source code I will not include the genesis block. Optimally I am thinking of a short testnet phase, like 3 days or so, just so anybody who plans to run a service (pools, faucets, eg) or wants to compile beforehand can make sure everything is working before launch.

How do we get our airdrop ? To be honest this airdrop has been confusing and overly and unnecessarily complicated. Most people don't know what is going on and I had a hard time registering for it as well.

You will get the airdrop by private key (on PM i think), but if you have not, you will not get it.
Airdrop closed on 19th of August, therefore not any new registrations into it are accepted at all.

Hello! ~~ For those of you who don't know me, I've been working closely with the lead developer (CometotheTundra) on the Lysergion project- and I'm here to give you guys a quick update about the current situation.

We originally scheduled the airdrop to be for the weekend of August 18th, but numerous circumstances disallowed us from being able to complete the airdrop at that time. I won’t go into too much detail but will just say that our lead developer needed time to deal with personal health. Regardless, we’re happy to announce that we’re back on track. Yes, this was an error we're aware of, we had to resort to manually copying + pasting your bitcointalk profile. No worries, everything was taken care of. I'm afraid you were a bit too late to register- but don't worry! We are opening the airdrop for a brief period (a couple days or so) while we're sorting some things out, try registering over at lysergion.com soon, you should be able to.

Hey guys, I really apologize for this delay. I got caught up with a minor injury and was not able to work on development for a few days. Right now I am focusing most of my time on development and hat3ful3ight will work on addressing the community and any questions you may have.

You may also contact me through PM or Discord. We are planning to reopen the airdrop (without the signature campaign) for another day or so while we get back on track. For those who already registered for the signature campaign, we do not require you keep the signature longer to receive your reward. However, if you wish to do so for additional post count we will happily count that. I am sorry for the mishap and lack of communication, I hope our commitment to the project will make up for it.

@CometotheTundra: Great to hear you are fine and good that you guys are back. The community was already getting a bit nervous I think. Stay healthy and strong!

Just to update that dev replied my message on my question since no response after signature campaign due date. I trusted CometotheTundra sincerely wanted to develop this coin but delayed due to injury. This is a good news that dev come back and bring the project on track back again :)

when this coin is supposed to be launched exactly? wasn't this month? you need to be faster here or you remain behind, and investors will invest in something else, this what i learned

Is this project still active? Community is patiently waiting for signs of life. There is so much potential. Let's hope the dev is ok.

Yeah the wallet should have been ready 2 months ago. Very much dead project I think.

I wish in situations like these the dev could at least pop in and say one way or the other what's going on with the project.  If it's dead take 2 minutes out of your life and tell everyone that so we're not left wondering.

Dear admins, tell me please, what is the purpose of your coin? How can it be used? What are you going to do with your community after growing it? Is it about drugs tests on your community?

Is there still an airdrop to be expected? This project looked really promising to me, but unfortunately there seems to be no activity anymore.

Sometimes I just feel nostalgic and dive in my old forum bookmarks to see what's going on in my old favorites...
