According to the title, yesterday I made a withdrawal on poloniex but until now his status is still "Awaiting Approval" and I have sent to the support center I request to cancel the withdrawal. I think withdrawal BTC at poloniex will not get the message "Awaiting Approval" again, it is still happening and I do not know what to do with this. I've been away from cryptoworld for almost 3 years now. I see thing have not improved much in that time. It seems that exchanges are still run by amateurs or criminals. How is this doing any favours for acceptance of cryptocurrency? It was the reason why I left in the first place. I used Poloniex 3 years ago and it was just fine. I came back few days ago and started using Poloniex again. I did some trades and succesfully withdraw some btc one time. My second withdrawal attempt ended up as "Awaiting Approval". I'm truly mad. How can this be? isn't this poloniex supposed to be worlds largest altcoin exchange now? How can they keep funds as a hostage like this? ??? ??? ??? As a whole I do not know about poloniex in the past because I used this exchange not so long ago, the reason I use poloniex is because I think poloniex is a stock site that is very much used by bitcoin community and has been trusted. After reading the updates they are doing, I guess that's just a rotten plan that they do. They do not have active support, it should be a big and long standing site like poloniex is supposed to have active support so that all customer complaints can be responded quickly and well. I do not understand why there are still many who use poloniex. That wont be a problem,once they would request for a particular document and if they found out they are all okay they wont mind no matter what your name is on the site. Are you sure to move up on higher tier? This might be the only thing or solution on the delays you are expriencing because unverified account mostly do experience this thing. Yesterday I made a withdrawal but "Awaiting Approval" happened again for the umpteenth time and then immediately without a long think I immediately made a support ticket and then I got a faster response than before because a just counted within 1 day time I have received a response from poloniex. Finally I can be detached from the shackles of poloniex and hope your problems can also be resolved quickly, now I can leave poloniex quietly and will switch to bittrex. I'm glad your situation worked itself out and I agree with you moving to somewhere else. Polo has a lot of issues right now and I think they have to figure out their shit asap. Maybe you can wait until 9 days first, if you get response after 9 days you can try withdrawal again, if "Awaiting Approval" problem happened again to you, you should have linked your account with your friend account who never had problem with Poloniex. I do not understand why old poloniex accounts like you get into complicated and unresolved issues with a long time. It seems that this problem is long gone for me and you are still trapped there. Last time I sent a ticket, I vent out all my emotions with a rough sentence and within 24h I got a response from him. I doubt that they have pulled a cryptsty and just up and left but their support has been notoriously slow, always. I would not be too worried about the funds you are trying to withdraw, in time you will surely get them back. I'd just stay put for a little while longer, I've heard some people having to wait over 1 month for a respond, although they seem to have picked up the pace as of late. Tx is less then $2000. No response from support! since 1st august "awaiting approval".(Withdrawal Issue #350814)

Continued use of your Poloniex account to deposit and withdraw funds without trading could lead to freezes and possible account closure. " That was the reason for blocking withdrawals in my case. I'd stored my assets on to different exchanges without trading. Title: Re: Withdrawal still "Awaiting Approval" in poloniex Post by: Nooby-miner on August 03, 2017, 05:01:00 PM 2FA enabled, waited over 20 days to get reply to 2 withdrawals awaiting approval, finally they released my funds, but ticket i posted a month ago about funds deposited and blockchain shows they were, still not credited or even showing as in process or something. Fortunately i put small amounts in, as i wanted to test their trust, after reading many past posts about issues. I wante to see if this had been fixed, or they the poster of problems made mistakes ect. So after this, im not going to put decent funds into poloinex to trade with, as imo they are not reliable, or trustworthy.

Also ETC has been sent to my Poloniex address and it hasn't been deposited for 4 days. I opened Support tickets for both and received no reply. Both says "Being Processed". Users currently online: 23453. Obviously there are issues in their deposit and withdrawal procedures, but with this number of users there is no way that they can fix it, so the problem will just accumulate day by day. I just wonder how people who invested large amount of money into this company can sleep peacefully, as by the look at it, there is absolutely no guarantee that they can take their money out, especially after Poloniex updated their Terms and Conditions. I rely doubt they are going to be insolvent soon from their recent change of term of use.

I personally always trade on poloniex but not very often, but I still get the problem "Awaiting Approval" when make withdrawal. Title: Re: Withdrawal still "Awaiting Approval" in poloniex Post by: GiorgosK on August 05, 2017, 10:59:31 AM Same problem from 3 days ago Code: Awaiting Approval BTC 0.25919504 the verification email came and did confirm the withdrawal but then transaction stuck there I realized they have closed the trollbox saying they are putting more effort in the support tickets so I ended up creating a ticket 24 hours later that was STUCK in "STATUS: waiting your response" (problem with freshdesk lets hope) I had to reply another 2 times on the ticket 12 hours later to get it to "STATUS: Being Processed" I am waiting on this ticket status about 24 hour now I realize it was the weekend and maybe there was no support at the weekend but still reading all this problem I can't think of anything else but "CRYPTO EXCHANGE nightmare" hope I am wrong since I like poloniex since long time ago. I am LEVEL 1 confirmed and my withdrawn amount as you see is way below the limit of $2000 and even on the withdraw page it said that still had some limit $ left to withdraw posted 3 days ago the documents for LEVEL 2 verification hope this did not get my withdrawal stuck still give them the benefit of the doubt since it was the weekend Just to get the record straight and not leave a bad impression on poloniex ... the support team came out about 15 of july (15 days after) and released the funds back into the wallet with the following message that summarizes to 2FA (2 factor authentication) will help speed up things Code: Thank you for getting in touch and sincerest apologies for the delay in responding. Just because it says it in ToS doesn't make it so, that's called an "unfair contract". You can't exempt yourself from the law just by writing it down and getting someone to agree to it. |
