Is it anyhow possible to embedd pictures into a thread as Newbie?

You can post.   It just won't show.    Someone further along in rank may quote you to make it appear if it's relevant.

Well that is a bit weird, I first have to post comments to make pictures visible. Anyways, thanks for this information. :)

For now you can't post an image because you are newbie but if you are atleast jr.member you can post an image show in your thread..
But you can be still post what you want image to post you just put the link address of the image and i think they can be still check the image.

Actually its just fair to not allow newbies to post pics since that will be the weird one here. Imagine the forum being posted by Nude Pics spread by new accounts or maybe some illegal pics.
Anyway, you can check the above reply to check the main reason why they don't allow it.

Just being a Jr Member is enough to make you eligible to post images on this forum  :D

As far as i know newbies can not put sone pictures on.That is my opinion.

There is no point of that, beacuse we will have another gay-porn picture posting outbreak. Forums and it`s users dont need that type of "entertainment".

The rule totally makes sense, but I was wonderign if images posted in "older" posts will be automatically shown if status changed.

Yes, once your rank is higher than newbie, the images in your post will automatically displayed.



When your rank is higher than Newbie (i.e when your activity is above 30). You'll then become a Junior Member and every image that you embed in a post could be displayed.

Why you can say it is useless, posting with pictures will make it easier for someone to understand something. I think this is very helpful, If you don't accept please report to moderator

no there is no way to expedite this process not unless you buy an account with a junior rank or above but i wont recomend it because most of bought accounts are getting tagged instantly by dt members because it is somehow prohbited due to the increasing numbers of hack and stolen accounts and probably it will be used as scamming or spamming  here in the forum. overall i highly suggest that you need to be active and post atleast once a day in order to speed up that process and youll be reaching junior member rank in no time.

there is the rules for everything, you just read again for the basic rules in this forum. about the image in newbie post, its okay to post but it will not appear until become atleast jr. member

Those images don't do anything for the thread, and they just made  me close it without reading anything. They are also really annoying if you are using a mobile, and I would probably block the user if I was likely to use that board.

What kind of formats are postable on Bitcointalk?

I know you can post images and gifs, what about mp4 animation?

And can copper member post gis and mp4s?

As far as i know the copper membership is simply a shortcut to the access you would otherwise receive at "member", in terms of posting images etcetera.

I don't remember you were able to post anything with mp4s as member, only gifs.

since they use the same [], i think it should be just the same as the posting of any other normal picture/image.

You cannot natively embed a video into a post, all you can do is embed an image (which in theory could be a thumbnail image of the video) and then link that image to the video. The video itself would be uploaded to a video sharing site.

Since you have upgraded your account to Copper Member you should be able to post image, just put the Direct Link of your image inside img tag

Yes you can. Just Upload the image you want to appear in the forum in one of the image hosting websites like imgur.com. Copy the link and use the image tag
