Those images don't do anything for the thread, and they just made  me close it without reading anything. They are also really annoying if you are using a mobile, and I would probably block the user if I was likely to use that board.

As far as i know the copper membership is simply a shortcut to the access you would otherwise receive at "member", in terms of posting images etcetera.

I don't remember you were able to post anything with mp4s as member, only gifs.

since they use the same [], i think it should be just the same as the posting of any other normal picture/image.

Can you try posting a video?

You cannot natively embed a video into a post, all you can do is embed an image (which in theory could be a thumbnail image of the video) and then link that image to the video. The video itself would be uploaded to a video sharing site.

As far as I know BRAND NEW AND NEWBIE MEMBERS cant possibly put some image to their posts not until they already achieved the JR.  MEMBER rank.
Pardon me buddy this may be off topic but may I ask you how'd you get that badge or rank "Copper Member"?

You have to subscribe to paid membership you can browse here to read about it

You can post.   It just won't show.    Someone further along in rank may quote you to make it appear if it's relevant.

Ahh, I was wondering why it won't show Smiley

So that's why new posts from newbies just show the links not the images ...

However there are still legitimate reasons why someone would need images, but I guess the cons outweigh the pros

Yup! He could post images despite of being a newbie because that's the privilege of becoming a copper member but of course you should first put a little amount of btc to have it. Here are the other details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

Yes you can. Just Upload the image you want to appear in the forum in one of the image hosting websites like imgur.com. Copy the link and use the image tag
For example;
Link:
Code:
https://i.imgur.com/XEAyMaY.png

What you post
Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/XEAyMaY.png[/img]

Gives you this

Please be informed that the maximum image size limit is 2.5MBs
