The website is simple at the moment, there is alot being done behind the scenes (Wiki, Blog, Whitepaper, Etc). To answer your question simply, that information seems safe, and probably is! However, it is still located on a very limited number of data centers (2?). If a catastrophe happened and those were knocked out, your email would be be gone. We understand the need for redundancy in Today's world and believe blockchain technology solves a lot of the current problems. No longer will your data be held in central locations, waiting for hackers, disasters, ransom-ware... the list goes on. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have! But I am pretty sure this will be ignored. So far this seems to be not a well-thought out idea that's just going for the money grab. No technical paper for people to even audit to see if this is technically feasible or business plan. Its just: blockchain is cheap/free, therefore we can make money by replacing email with blockchain. We have been working through legal issues, personal issues and corporation creation. Movement has been alot slower then we anticipated but thats OK.
