A: We cannot guarantee that every provider in the EU has good routes to our Servers, but nevertheless we can't do something to solve this. If you have problems with our Servers or Latency, you can nevertheless write us to investigate this, but it is possible that we can't do something to help you.

Q: My immature and pending balance isnt showing and is staying on 0. Is this pool working?
A: Of course, it is working, completely. Since we are a little pool we have some time between finding the blocks, but from every block you get even much more Ubiq. Let me explain how the pool is working to get a deeper understanding when bookings are done:

The immature balance is booked as soon as a block is found and get immature.
 
The pending balance is booked as soon as the found blocks gets mature.
 
The payout is automatically done, as soon as the pending balance is 0.5++ Ubiq.
 
This all is done fully automatically…

Added proxies for different pool difficulty to the pool.

1billion: for single card users and lower hashrate rigs ( < 30 MH/s )
2billion: for medium size rigs and proxies ( 30 - 160 MH/s )
4billion: for big rigs and larger proxies ( > 160 MH/s )

The MH/s values are only first suggestions, we have to find out where are the best transitions between the different difficulties.

Please feel free to test it out and give us a feedback if it works for you and which transitions you would prefer.

Hi, we only have 9 GH/s at the moment, and as written in the FAQ above you get balance as soon as the next block is found and immature.

Please look at the "blocks" page to see the average time for finding a block with this amount of hashpower we have.

But nevertheless, you can choose a bigger pool where you get faster balanced, but not earn more Ubiq or faster paid out.

 

Did you get something balanced meanwhile?

With that fluctuating network hashrate caused by the in and out of 140 GH (we were up to 420 GH Network Hashrate) since the 17th (this was at least 1/3 - 1/2 difference), the calculator can't forecast correctly.

I hope that the big moves ending now, to get some stable mining yields again.

With that 80 shares per hour you were at the 1b or the 2b proxy?

Please keep in mind that the pool is calculating not to the number of shares, but rather a calculated score value of the invested hashpower for calculation in relation to the total invested hashpower of the pool to find a block.

A single card can have a bigger difference short term as a rig with several gpu. Long term the single card and the rig are equal on its average at the calculated value as shown in the local miner.
 
Under the bottom line we can still see that the network difficulty stays doubled, so less ubiq is earned. But on the other hand ubiq has still doubled the exchange rate and has much more potential to rise to the moon in the next years as other coins have - and today it is really better as the last days were.

We changed the payout treshold to 1 Ubiq to have fewer transactions.

I am careful with such statements normally, but at the moment whattomine.com is calculating with little over 5 Expanse per Day with 300 MH/s

If you could reach this amount of Expanse per day or near to it, this would be a good thing.

Nice to hear that. The traffic on the pools is something we only can try to influence, but we are trying.  :)


The most is the time spended for community work, support and so on. At the moment, with many new miners and being one of the main pools for the launch of a new coin, the time spended into it was really very high.  

The servers itself are really expensive in our case, but the ressources were still there for our daily job.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought it is quite expensive and time consuming to maintain such high performance servers.

Maintaining of the pools itself is not that much work, compared to support and so on.

This is not the best yield but is is exactly within the actual average. WhaleCoin is to speculate on it, since it has no price at the moment (still not on any exchange).

Musicoin has a price and a good mining value at the moment.

The projects of the musicoin are still running, the projects of the WhaleCoin are planned.

So, if you search an early coin to sepculate on it, WhaleCoin is your best choice.

If you are searching for something to earn money immediately, the Musicoin is you best choice.

We had some issues with the geth on the WhaleCoin pool, while epoch changes.

It is back online since some hours now and we have set up an additional gwhale (geth) as a backup on an other server for additional redundancy.

For the next epoch change we will be looking deeper into it what it does and restart it immediately if one (or all) gwhale instances of the servers stop working.

So please don't stop mining, we are online and ready to mine with you all...

Added an Ellaism Pool because it is a community only coin, to support the coin and the community.

Cause I was asked about it now a few times.

I understand ELLA clearly as a high risk coin at the moment!

It is completely community operated without paid teams or something.

Like other "new things" we have to look how the coin can perform in the future and how big the community can grow.

But I like to support communities and new Ideas, so I placed one of our pools on the coin.

Please keep in mind that this is no safe deal this time and that the coin could need much more time to evolve - if it does...

probably the best altcoin to mine with CPU is currently Verium (VRM) - mining is ASIC and GPU resistant, and it's well established with working community.

 I wanted to find out why the payment to the purse is not made 0x222bc4a0da84e6bf3e0063ffdd4b05e28a8f9773. The sum is greater than 1 PYRL. It lies more than 6 hours. What is the problem.

How come the difficulty doubles when having a rig that is over 100mh/s?

Am I correct in thinking that surely I should drop my 120mh/s rig and tweak the settings to have it do 99 mh/s then it is still making more shares with less power?

Cause you stopped mining and the treshold is 2 PIRL since two days. We raised the treshold to get more miners paid, cause in the peak with 2000 Miners there were too much low volume payments which slowed the payout down too much for all. If you want you can come into the PIRL Discord and I tip you one PIRL there instantly with the tipbot - i don't think this is a pending balance value to put more work into it.

No, this is not an automatic correction. The 2billion worker has 2billion diff and the 4billion has 4billion diff. You choose yourself which difficulty you want to have. But keep in mind that the minerpool servers have a changed backend, the 4billion difficulty shares are more valued to get the same proportional reward. ;-)

But as said and ment, try both out and see which reward you get - and then choose the one which fits best for you!

An auto-mining on pool-side is an interesting feature, should be a really simple solution...I'm thinking about it...

At the moment we have a higher fluctuation especially in the top yield coins.

The problem with the "Roulette Mining" would be that the miners would be balanced to the same walletid in the different coins chain and must keep track of the amount in the different chains themself then.

Pending balance is paid automatically in the pools payout rounds as soon as the treshold is reached and you are the next in line.

In the pirl pool we have 1 - 2 payout rounds per day at the moment.

ELLA is performing really good, near to 3 USD per coin.

I mined today for 7 hours with 175 Mh/s 0 balance on pending and confirmed with PIRL..

It worked perfectly before...

This is the unlocker of the pool.

We already outsourced it to an own server, but the geth has problems as it seems from time to time.

Changed the machine to an other server within our cluster now, perhaps it is now more stable.

Good news, we found a new teammate to take care of the development and pool operations.

He is a node.js and golang developer, and already as @shogun in our discord chat https://discord.gg/nuzaNzp now.

Now we are going to work on a complete own draft of pool software for minerpool.

This will solve some problems the open-source software has and will bring a new frontend with additional features to the minerpool miners.

We don't recommend mining to exchanges directly, cause of the problems with the exchanges in the last time. The most exchanges don't support official direct mining to the deposit wallets anyway.

pirl.minerpool is abandoned. Nodes were not updated after the fork, so the pool is mining on a wrong chain. Coins are lost.
