Hello sir, Yes there are four main members of the dev team. But Mr. Gary Leo is the vision bearer. He has been sponsoring the whole project from it's initial stage up until this level and is willing to do more. He doesn't have any one he has employed as an adviser but believe me he is taking advice from all comers that advice need to be taken.

Hello @TimeTeller thanks for the concern. Blockoptions is an application specific project. That is to say it solves a particular problem in the world. If you are not a fan of binary option trading then this project may not affect you as a common man directly. but then again look at this.
the production of wheel chairs is a project that may not affects you directly but you feel the need for it. Though you might not be in position to make use of a wheel chair, you might even support such a project.
same goes thus with blocktions. The binary option industry is crippled and needs blockoptions  wheel chair. Now weather it affects you directly or not it will surely affect millions.

1.) serves as dividend to token holders: every token holder will acquire an amount of BOPT for every trade that is made in the system. the BOPT come from trading fee.
2.) BOPT will also be used as an in-trade currency. that is to say you can use them to pay for spreads as you rightly asked.

time of trade and also the eth address that you use to make the trade
but be rest assured that mvp has a one minute latency period something which would be address in the final product
in most cases like this just be patient and all will turn out fine but if you wait for more than 3mins and no response then you send me the eth address and time of trade and i will look in to it

Some people think binary options can be manipulated though, some of the platforms even secondstrade they think are pretty much manipulated which is why I think there might not much interested for this. But how much have been collected so far since the presale?

Simple but effective the 175% payout is on the lower end of what I would expect though. I expect gambling and trading competitors to implement this at some point with higher payout.
When, how many times are dividends? If the Ico does not sell out the team has a very large % of the coins (since unsold are burned). That is a bit worrying. Would be nicer to see a % going to the team if Ico continues to run this slow

Hi, we plan one dividends per month. If the token don't sell well, the platform may have large of tokens, but it's locked for 2 years and we will continue to complete the whole project whatever how many funds we raised.

175% payout  just a guiding number, as bank rollers can use custom payout, the number may more, or less, will be determined by market. And the traders are trading against blockchain, 175% payout should be a decent rate.

Well like I said, the idea is simple but effective. So I will put something in. But it would really help if you could get your site and announcements spell checked. I think a lot of people run away because of the (relatively simple) errors in spelling.

121 trades now on the MVP we thank you all. But if you are a careful trader then you must have noticed some abnormalities which are hindering the MVP from being mathematical precised. some these draw backs are;
1.) start time is not exact 1mins leads
2.) trader has to go and open a third party eth wallet to trade
3.) stop time is not also exact 2mins leads

so team has taken the following measures in their dev plans to combat this unpleasant situations;

So a build-in wallet version is needed. It will fix the start time delay, expiry time not accurate and can’t accept BTC to trade, etc problems.

Traders create an online wallet on BlockOptions.io or import their private key to BlockOptions.io as other online wallets like https://www.myetherwallet.com/.

Traders click invest button to start trading on BlockOptions.io Build-in wallet will fetch start price within the same second.

At the same time sending a schedule callback to Oraclize’s smart contract, e.g callback with exactly 2 min. later price using timestamp parameter for xignite API. This will get back the expiry price exact equal (start time + 2 minutes)’s price from ethereum blockchain.

In 2 minutes + a few block time later, Oraclize callback trading smart contract with expiry price, traders get e.g. 175% of trading amount as reward by trading smart contract if win or 1 gwei if lost.

All these are currently being worked. we will realise all this from realise to realise up to perfection..

sorry for the inconvenience. but it seems am not getting you clearly. what exactly do you mean by it did not execute?
there may be so many reasons for that. may be you did not provide enough gas for the contract other problems may also apply on your side.
but there is also a rare case where oraclelize fails to execute. we do not have a contingency plans set in place for this in the MVP but in final release an automatic refund would made to all trades who's oraclelize fails to execute. we have already gotten one of those cases where oraclelize did not execute and the person was refunded.

please if you can give more inside to your unsuccessful trades so we look in to it it would be fine also try to provide the hash for the transactions if at all the transaction got executed .

Thanks, we thought we are on the right way, we may consider only use BOPT as in-trade currency, it will have some advantages:

• Add more values to BOPT token as it's the only in-trade currency on the first and only decentralized binary options platform atm
• Token price will be raised by demand more frequently and don't only rely on monthly profit devidends from Dev.
• Have a chance to build a zero trading fee platform
• Better reward rate as we have less running cost
• Stay away from tax issues for token holders

But it will have some disadvantages:

• BOPT is not trusty and valuable than ETH
• Less liquidity than using ETH

But we can add BOPT to more exchanges to solve these problems, eg.: buy or vote to get BOPT be listed on some exchanges: Novaexchange, Cyptopia, Livecoin at the beginning and expand to more exchanges later.

This is a revolutionary start to this industry which is indeed riddled with scams. Even my Father in law was scammed over over 2k pounds sterling in some horrible site that dissipated  into thin air. They even knew he is a pensioner but were ruthless enough to take his money. Many are outright thieves and nasty characters. I hope your idea works and functions well.

but at blockoptions there is much more to binary options than just predicting future price chances as you can become a bank roller, investor benefiting from dividend which comes from trading fees, ambassador etc and much more...

What is the current view on payout? With so many casino's taking only a 1% edge on many games I fear blockoptions is doomed to fail with only 175% payout in case of a correct bet

Sucks I missed out on the ICO there's just too many new projects these days to keep track of them all but this project does look good and was not overbought during the crowdsale.  Are there any plans to get listed on any other exchanges?   

This is not any type of casino it is binary options. yes the pay out on win for traders is in the neighbour-hood of 175% but the 25% edge does not goes to the house it goes the bank roller. the house only benefits from trading fees.
as rightly said in the white paper and i quote " Pure P2P market - Traders bet against Bankrollers, BlockOptions.io'token holders make profit from trading fees; not from profit share as traditional platforms." from white paper.

Blockoptions are very undervalued at the moment.  There's only 2.7 million tokens according to https://etherscan.io/token/0x7f1e2c7d6a69bf34824d72c53b4550e895c0d8c2  I think BOP needs to get on larger exchanges for the true value to display.

That's a huge amount of Block Options that were burnt.  People either overlooked this project for another or it was because of China stating that they were banning ico's that caused the amount of funds raised were minimal.

total supply is 2,985,165.8323 (2M) and total tokens burnt 15014834.1677 (15M). it's really strange that the amount of tokens burnt over than total supply. tell me if i'm wrong.

you are correct. More tokens than there is in supply were burnt because of the Chinese ICO band. This cut the ICO time short and limiting the amount of Investors but as we had earlier said, all unsold tokens will be burnt and that i what we did. Happy are those who got in earlier.

if they didn't raise the minimum how can they develop the product and show them to the investors? Still, the value of BOP is completely below the ICO price how can they develop and increase the price of BOP.

There was no specific min cap for this project. We mentioned it time and again that " No matter the turn out of ICO project will still continue" you can confirm this by browsing through this ANN and looking at previous posts. The CEO Mr Gary Leo said and i quote " We already have enough to complete project development and advertisements just the more the better" this was said days before the ICO was closed.
So don't be afraid blockoptions will deliver. As a matter of fact up until this point we have always keep to our words.

As for the price drop. You will notice that it was done by bounty hunters who spent almost nothing in term of cash to get those coins. So there were looking to get anything out it. the massive price crash happened immediately after bounty tokens were distributed. investors have not sold you can know this by the amount of coins per sale. so don't border no body is dumping.

MVP will be out in 1 or 2 weeks time. we expect price to increase as a result.

This coin is not yet on coinmarketcap.com that will bring investor awareness to it. Also, etherdelta
prices for it are misleading since there is a huge spread between bid and ask. Anybody selling there
is just giving these tokens  away for a steal. There are some big stink buy orders sitting there
for very low prices. So need to wait for listing on some real exchanges.

It depends on both. Marketing is a big part of a project, if more people will be intrested in it, than the better price would be, because of a high demand. Ofcourse without project development, project would be dead, but it can wait a little bit. Team has made a great work on this project and they continue to do their best, i think we will see soon BOP near its ICO price and a good volume will come also.

Yes, it's very annoying that just about every projects Slack is being infested with the myetherwallet phishing scams.  Slack needs to do something to fix this problem or else no one will want to use it anymore.  I don't trust anyone in there anymore and usually just go in to read the announcements.  Avoid clicking on any links.

That is true. That's about 8.5% of the total supply ready to be dumped. Not so cool.

this is something we are already seeing the effect of. the massive drop in price in recent time can only be as a result of bounty dump. since they didn't actually spend anything of monetary value to acquire this coins.

but it is also good to keep in mind that the original total supply of coin was at 21m putting the 250k bounty coins at 1.19% a value less significant as compared to 8.5%.  it was due to the coin burn that reduced the total supply to  3m and alternately raised the % of bounty token and the effect.
no could predict hence no one could prevent this.

It does not really matter what factor eventually raised the percentage of the bounties. It is a matter of fact that the bounties account for 8.5% of the current supply, and that is an awful lot to be dumped. Nothing you can do about that anymore. Hope you will deliver as promised and develop some nice stuff. Nobody will complain then about the dumped bounties ;)

Absolutely, development progress and great communication are probably the best counter to people thinking about dumping. Blockoptions sounds like a cool project. I'll stick with you guys over time.

Great news I would say. In comparison to a number of other projects you really have something to show. So annoying often times to only invest into an idea written on a piece of paper and then praying that the people behind the project are going to do what they promise. Good progress here.

Dumping is when there more seller than buyer. If BOP have a lot of customer after the MVP release dumping will not affect the real price cuz there will be a lot of buyer that are ready to buy the token for more dividend.

First let me address the issue of the sudden raise in price earlier today as i have gotten questions about it both privately are publicly .

i can assure you that it is not the work of a pump and dump group. there are so  many whales private investors out there looking for ground breaking projects which are still under the hood to invest in. i have studied the way things took place. the buy was large and it might have caused some other gambling traders to hope in too. if you look at the sales it doesn't look like one from a pump and dump group it looks like the sales of those who hope in for no reason. conclusion the actions today were as result of some private investors. and this just the begging more to come after beta release.

Secondly about project development this are the words of the CEO Mr. Gary Leo ' you can tell them our platform is ready to run:) ' . i also participated in the testing and i can assure you that we have an outstanding product.

Issue I got with your message above, is that you don't accept messages from newbies (I understand why since you don't want spam) but your slack# invite has reached it's limit... making people like me who still believe this may succeed unable to see all the things that you may be doing.

This token has it's fair share of issues in the past and had lots of timeline missed... making it harder and harder to keep these token at hand for the long run as little has changed on the blockoptions.io website. All we see are images... Maybe provide a full video of the application running showing the new interface at work, could bring new interest to the project as it deserves and restore the trust of those long time investors.

Unless you are going to post the update soon, then whatever, just disregard the video suggestion... but otherwise, videos of the development and progress will certainly go a long way vs pictures/printscreens.

 The BETA version of blockoptions has been upgraded. This very important upgrade addresses a key flaw and an inherent burden which was present in the previous version as explained below:

 The start time for a trade is recorded when a trader clicks on the INVEST button. In the previous BETA version, you had to  click on INVEST and then latter on accept the eth transfer by clicking on the SUBMIT button on meta mask pop-up while your trade time is already being recorded. It suffices for one to just click INVEST, wait till his expiration time elapses and then only accepts the eth transfer when he/she is sure he/she has won the trade.
 
 We had a inherent burden in that, traders needed to pay eth tx fee for every trade carried out whereas under normal options trading it's the bank rollers who pay for tx fee.

 As a result of the flaw, a transitional trading account has to be created on the site so that 'tradable' eth could be transferred there and once you click INVEST that's it for the trade. INVEST records start time and also sends eth from the transitional account to the contract address simultaneously. No room to cheat.  The transitional account. also solves the tx fee issue now traders pay 0fee per trade and bank rollers settle their bills. because things are manage internally within the smart contract.
 

 The draw back of this upgrade is that, withdrawal is no longer automatic but it is instant: as fast as the ethereum network and just a click away. Once you need a withdrawal, you just need to fill in the amount space on your transitional account on site and click on withdraw and your eth will be instantly credited to your mate mask account.

 The change from Automatic withdrawal to instant withdrawal is a beautiful trade-off for the addressing of the flaw and the 0tx fee per trade for traders.
