This trezor is provided by trezor they made an error on my order sent me too many black ones and not enough white ones. This generously fixed the order by send me whites ones on their dime. I told them I would do the next promo and give away a black one. While mentioning their generosity in fixing an error. I also must mention when btc added bcc trezor did a good job of allowing access to the bcc. New contest picks to start at block 1116. The vulnerability requires physical access to the device and cracking open the case, so it's not that earth shattering. But it's still worth doing. I updated mine as soon as it was available. Seems like hashrate just isn't stopping on its rise to the top, just recently saw a post on r/bitcoin about hashrate reaching the highest it's ever been at. I expect bitcoin hashrate to go down while people switch to the most profitable coin. i mean, why wouldnt you ? But it all depends on the price. I still have my Bitcoin Cash, waiting for it to pump like crazy at the height of the drama. Dont expect it to replace bitcoin though.

Sure there have always been other SHA256 coins, but they've only amounted to a tiny bit of noise on the Bitcoin signal. You have to admit that the scale here with BCH is unprecedented. Even Garza's Paycoin (everyone here remember that scam?) didn't have this effect on the difficulty of the main chain. That said, I agree that BCH will wain. It has no value except for speculation and cyclical mining profits (for the moment). IMHO, BCH is just Bitmain enabling the big block true believer bag holders. Guess who wins in that scenario? If the 2x hard fork actually happens, then we will see the original Bitcoin verses two speculative alts. If BCH hasn't already tanked, it will at least have to share the remaining table scraps with the new 2x alt. Sure, 2x wasn't designed to enable miner manipulation, so Bitmain won't support it. But 2x is sure to to have a speculative following of some sort. Regardless, competition among the alts that have no real economic reason for being will help dilute them both. I suspect that come the new year, none of this will matter. Miners will for the most part return to the original Bitcoin, and the forks will flounder. So the 27.71% drop can move up fast. I could be off just a bit as I think the new diff started at block 481834 if someone knows this to be wrong or true please let me know. I'm surprised these things have made it so far, two years of mining... shame Bitmain doesn't make anything nearly as reliable these days.
BTCC suspends trading and price plunged to $2500 temporarily on the exchange... with the difficulty rises combined with that I don't see this thing making it that far anymore sadly. They seem to have toned the timeframe back to "have working silicon in 2018" which sounds like they are targeting TAPE-OUT by the end of 2018 and might be a viable target (that would put actual PRODUCTION into 1Q or 2Q of 2019). They seem to have also had some bad timing on when to get involved, with the recent news out of China - unless China DOES in fact ban Bitcoin and it puts Bitmain/BW.COM/EBit and the other smaller Chinese miner makers out of business (Innosilicon will probably survive, they'll go back to being a custom design house like they were before they started doing Cryptocoin ASIC). IBM has mentioned used HYBRID Germanium/Silicon wafers in their 7NM experimental development (this would end up on Global Foundries since GF ended up with the IBM fabs some years back when IBM decided to spin off that part of their business).
