Whatever failed probably wasn't a result of mining unless it was your cards depending on how hot you had them running.

Casing: cool master haf x has 5-6 fans, asus P8Z77v LX motherboard, 4gb ram, pentium 4 processor, 1x MSi 7950 1x MSi 7850, was running windows 7 You probably didn't fry the PSU as a result of mining. Is your PSU firing up? I would check that first. I rebuilt the computer with just the 7950 and the 7850 both didn't work. Motherboard will start without anything else plugged into the PSU. When you removed the cables to your hard drive, did you replace them back into the same sata port? Make sure everything is connected correctly and tight. That message is basically saying its having issues finding/connecting to your HD. Double check in the BIOS settings that your HD is being detected.
