I see we are left behind in this forum without knowing the best ICOs to invest into and make some profits.

Share with us which ICOs do you think or believe to be profitable backed by a trusted companies or developers.

We all know ICOs are great way to invest your money and make decent profit, but was also used by SCAMMERS to scam people.

We Deserve the right to ask ourselves which are the good ICOs to invest into to avoid getting SCAMMED by some dodgy people.

So, which ICO do you think we should join? And what trusted company backed that very ICO that you think is great?

Eventually, someone will devise a reliable method to evaluate ICO's in terms of individual value. At the moment, most ICO value is derived from their affiliation with crypto and bitcoin and in some cases their affiliation with celebrities like Floyd Mayweather who are endorsing ICO's. The question of what an ICO is worth by itself, without its value being derived from other things, isn't a subject which appears to have been given much focus.

On a fundamental levels, appraising an ICO could be comparable to appraising an investment or business venture. There are basics like expected growth, targeting demographics, business plan & possibly a somewhat diverse number of factors which determine how successful an ICO is expected to be.

I complete agree on what you have said on here regarding on ICO which is really been part of reality which as an investor we do really have some doubts on which project we should go in seeing there are lots of ICO's popping out anytime anywhere which it is already become the trend as of now unlike back in the past on where there are only seldom who do launched a certain project.For now i do have some choices which project i would invest to which is on ATLANT,CARTAXI and this signature i do wear which is EASYMINE.

I also like ATLANT and CARTAXI but what are great companies that are backing these ICOs?

if you check old ICOs you will see all ICOs had good profits. if you join any ICO and keep your tokens you will make good profits.

We all have our concerns here because as an investors we deserved to invest in the real changing projects. ICO are everywhere but I think they are not all scams. When you are reading the whitepaper of some projects especially those platforms that is promising for both businesses and users, if they are really want to keep their project roadmap they are worth investing. People are just afraid because even if the ICO is good when it became successfully they are not keeping the promised roadmap and sad to say their coins price will drop.

Yes not all of them are scam but to defy those scams made by those scam devs we should do some proper background checking on the project we wish to go on since sometimes we cannot see on the roadmap and the whitepaper there true intention upon running this project, we should also seek for the background of the devs if they really exist since some of posted dev's pic there are been done with photoshop or shall we say fake.

I do not agree with you, SNOM is an old ICO coin, but the price is much lower then the ICO price for a long time since the ICO is over.

I like to look in to the management team of an ICO.

What companies have they took to market in the past?

What experience do they have in the crypto world?

Is the team mainly built from marketers and little to no tech team?

Read lots of white papers and try a small investment at first to dip your toe.

I tend to think that most of the ICO are just speculation for short term gain. They do not seem to offer any real alternates in general to what is already out. Sure some are, and I suppose that is the question.

To me if there is too much advertising pushing the product with key figures blowing trumpets then certainly pump and dump release you would think.

Looking for variations and unique features is the key but for a novice in what they do and the platforms they run. I don't know if it is cutting edge or re-wrapped leftovers.

The one that I have put a bit of faith is Powerledger. I am based in Perth as well so I know exactly who they are referencing and the actual working models they have used. Their support and follow up has been very good imo and I believe they have a great chance of a longterm ICO and not just a flash in the pan. They do have some big celebrity associates, but they are not pushing or promoting. Though twitter conveniently shows a smiling Richard Branson with their key personal, plus Bill Tai if that means anything to anyone?

I can definitely recommend Atlant.io
Their ICO is currently ongoing with a 18% bonus =)
They plan on tokenizing real estate and making an airbnb killer app. Their whitepaper and their blogposts explain it further =)

You are right, a lot of scam projects and if we are not smart choose then we will lose our assets.

People get scammed because they dont do proper research to know what a project stands for. Some projects dont even have any proper team behind yet people don't see that. That being said I think there are quite a few icos I will recommend. .Powerledger, cindicator and changecoin.

Before Im joining any new ICO I just searched if the projects backs by real people, real developers and real company with a very promising roadmap and whitepapers can explain any existing questions/problems asked by investors and specially the one using smart contracts for distribution to prevent any problems may occur. I suggest Rivetz ,Atlant and KIckiCO for now..   

I agree into that you should do research first before you undergo in any camapigm because if like that always there's a possibilty that you can easily get scammed.

As far as i observe right now, MTH will do or hit the market soon, since it only sold it's ICO for 18 minutes. Real estate ICOs are good too, there's atlant and propy. i think this will be a tough competition then, but whoever wins it will really disrupt the real state businesses out there.

All ICOs are SCAM of course. Ethereum wasn't scam  :) In the next few days, many projects will start their crowdfundings.

I think that BitCoin cash is the winner in the long run although you might not see it yet!

It is not an ICO based but it is the only currency that makes sense to go mainstream in our little upcoming project. Originals are always better!

From my experience, I'll start with research first to know about the company. Then I'll try to evaluate other projects in same field to see how did they growth and make estimation.

I like Neufund's approach to ICOs very refreshing.

They are establishing a legal structure for ICOs and this is exactly what we need. An ICO investor should get equity for his investment. This is not only better for the investor but also for the company raising money. This company can get funding without releasing a token that has no value.

Depends on how much you continue to trust the project and its market trend. What I did on the last ICO token I received was to sell half of it since I saw it already multiplied my investment. After that I don't have to worry much since I already took my capital. It will either continue to rise or it will go down. It is important to follow their updates here in bitcointalk, telegram, twitter and their price. I can say there are many good ICOs over there although I admit our current altcoin trend is down due to these forks. Maybe next year should be a good one for altcoins.

IMO, I don't see any ICO's now that are offering anything new at the moment that will be revolutionary or groundbreaking.

If it's really new, they should have a beta or a prototype as well before launching their ICO.

Main rule of thumb to avoid being fooled, I think, is to look for existing prototypes. No prototype - it's all just empty promises. Then you can more easily evaluate potential of the project.

Don't get caught on the hype. I can recommend two incoming ICOs:

1. GoNetwork
2. CommerceBlock

Both have great teams, solid business cases and existing products.

I guess ICO will become old fashion or at least airdrop will become popular. Now more and more coins want to propagate themselves.

Airdrops are supplying free money, so I don't think any of them is worth to invest.
Some of ICOs have very high potantial, check my signature ;) GUTS is the best ICO to invest at the moment.

due diligence is key when researching an ICO. I've been watching a new one called CoinLion as well. General idea is they are creating a platform to easily trade cryptos. looks promising!

More ICOs that are fresh from the farm are starting their bounty but we missed some of them (some of opportunities that are off the chart's value) until i bumped into this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2125150.0) which helps me keep updated of live ICOs happening in the cryptoworld.

i think health care ICOS cos storing all the data of all patients for the whole country is difficult in terms of security and cost, blockchain fixes both those

And then also different health centres accessing the data is a lot easier when its all on the same network

Airdrop is nothing because they are sharing free coin and whether they will value in future or not. Look at many potential coins will not share any Airdrops because they know the value of the coins and want to develop the coin seriously.

Firstly , people who voted that all ICOs are scam are the people who never read a good whitepaper and never saw a good ICO like Lykke, Siacoin, TenX etc

Few ICOs do have an actual business case or adress a real problem, most of them are just an existing concept with blockchain/token/ico tacked onto it without solving the underlying problem or bringing true change.

Why are we different?
We do have a strong business case and tackle a real word problem.
Real estate investments are one of the best investments you can do, but because of the high entry barriers (huge amount of capital needed, need for expert knowledge and experience, not liquid, funds are tied up etc.)
few people can afford to invest in real estate.

I agree with you on that, but there are a lot of projects that change their roadmaps and do not keep their promises. Like SONM, they recently have changed their roadmap once again...
