Finally a great news, hope thus all ends well, as for the date, i guess they are still working on it and time will only tell, when will the exchanges be open again. As i've read from some trysted sources in the web, china banned those scam ICOs, since a lot are ery persuasuve but in fact, will not give bavk anyhting at all, as far as i can understand on what i've read, during the bitcoin's rally this year, some individual took advantage and made scam websites, which unfortunately, a lot of people dive in to, and that's the reason of banning ICOs, and also to protect their people from such scams, they wanted to regulate cryptocurrency, in a way, i think somehow, it is possible, so some exchanges, had no choice but to shutdown, since it is going to be a lot of work, if they are still operating when the government issues to regulate it, but unfortunately, the media wanted a mire jucier news, so instead of saying it is just temporary shut down, they reported to the public that china is banning cryptocurrency, which in turn resulted to panic selling. If this is the case, that the shutdown is only temporary, as a sane investor, no doubt that you should buy already, as much as you can, so you can have it as a bargain. This is great news for us all, hopefully they will come to positie outcome, once the exchanges open up again.

The bad part is that there are no license for crypto trading being issued in China.
And in the discussion above nobody is saying they are going to apply for one.

They say " we can only choose to close it down".
I think that there are no regulation in China hence you can't get a license for something that is nor regulated.
Like you applying for a ostrich flying permit or trying to pay your taxes on worn down socks.

No excange that was closing down said they are going to apply for a license, none used the word "temporary" before shutting down.

from the past china always make bad news ,, always there is their game,,Let's get the spirit to rise up ,, bitcoin

Its going to take a few good reports like the above
and it will be enough to nullify the negativity circulation
at the moment and to set Bitcoin and other alt coins
on the path they should be on - UP

dont forget adoption by Crypto in China and Asia in general
is far greater than in the US or Europe!

It is all rumors right now. Hope China will clarify the situation soon, but Bitcoin was created to not depend on governments. So, if i they put some regulations and licences, good, if they don't also good, no problem: Bitcoin will raise again because bitcoin users use will keep on using it.

i think that you should wait a little bit more before buying bitcoin because if you buy it at a lower value, like around 2.5k. Then you will be making a lot more profit than when you buy it now. And we don't know for sure if bitcoin will go up again.

Title: Re: Good News - China
Post by: Kemarit on September 15, 2017, 11:23:39 AM
I also believed that this local exchanges closing down is just FUD. BTC China has voluntarily step up and said that they will stop trading as well. But it doesn't mean that they are not going back. Chinese trading platforms may have to get licensed before resuming its operations. It was another set of tighter regulations that those exchanges need to comply before they can go back to business. But the scare that they are closing and won't be back are already evident as the price continued to plummet every hour. So for those big investors, or even casual like us, the best thing to is hold on your coins and if possible, buy in this dipping point.

i think we can safely say that the previous couple of weeks have been the weirdest days in bitcoin history! there was no reason in first place for bitcoin price to go down but it did and just because of banning of ICOs! i don't know maybe some people think ICO and bitcoin is somehow related :D

then the fake news turned into China banning bitcoin!!! which was the funniest of all times.

all the while nothing new has happened! it is the same regulation and licensing of exchanges as before.

Title: Re: Good News - China
Post by: no0dlepunk on September 15, 2017, 11:29:19 AM
Well, that makes a lot of sense now. The Chinese probably had withdrawn their money from the exchanges just to be safe before it closes - but eventually would go back once these companies are able to secure licenses. I badly want this price drop to end soon because I am seeing blood everytime I wake up in the morning.

this will some time to get out of this FUD. NOw BTC price will move slowly upward and when people see it again happening, they they will purchase it again like a parabolic graph as panic occur to see big profit other are making out of BTC. Then again some new bad news will be spread about BTC like in DEcember etc :D

Ecaxtly and it seems to me that such situation was somehow created with a purpose, with bad purpose to make such mess and panic just that someone could have use of it. Maybe I'm paranoic but I have such feeeling.
Because what is so strange and dramatic in trying to licence the exchangers?

Not a bad new but unfortunately the time to be spread other people will continue to spread wrong infos. I saw a title on Cointelegraph saying Chineese bitcoin exchange have to close by 30 september. It will need a huge communication to say that finally they just need a licence.

Well I still hope that China will get kicked out (forbidden!) of every crypto things.. (exchange, mining, holding..)

Why?

The chinese dictatorship government is one of the most intransparent on earth (after north korea).
No more business for chinese exchanges means more "pieces of the cake" for the rest of the world.

Sorry, but the chinese people get what they deserve. The missed to stand up against a totalitarian regime, so the have to accept now.

Or why else would all these now closing exchanges, that are missing huge profits now, obey to a (still nowhere seen) governmental rule now?

I remember some of the previous price drops this year were also caused by Chinese FUD for regulations. And until now, Bitcoin went up further again soon after.
It's not a bad thing for exchanges to be regulated, it's just weird they got away with running unregulated financial businesses for this long.

If they're back after they have been licensed, that's one less fear hanging over Bitcoin. Until then, panic selling means many coins change hands, and most likely the whales get richer out of this.

Just talk to any chinese and they will they you that their government loves to make all these dodgy statements of banning something, then it turns out it was temporal and they issue licenses to keep the things running. This is how china government makes a ton of money by doing insider trading while trying to pass it out as legal. These crooks are stealing all the BTC from the panic sellers in order to position themselves as the BTC leading nation.

Anything can happen in the crypto market we have to take risks in order to be financial. In every investment, you will face risk but at the same time, you have to face challenges in between that. This is more interesting how can China will come up with new rules and regulation to adopt altcoins.

China have succeeded again,, making noice and be recognized as one of the most influential in bitcoin.. Attention and not regulation is the main reason for this.. Making an effect to bicoin market in every policy that they wanted to changed.. "We need china, we need Chinese investors if we need bitcoin",, that is what they wanted as to think every time and everday.. They want nothing but power and be relevant in this community they feel they are entitled to be on top..

That was sort of an expected news from China. They were making their rules a bit strict. Moreover yes you must buy some more bitcoins or altcoins market is already quiet low. Buying at such a stage will you give you lot more bits and in long term help you as a great investment for sure.

This gives us hope and and another reason that will add interest and excitement in doing jobs involving bitcoins and other coins. I guess we can't say that it will reach the highest price we have this month yet it is very appreciable that China is still doing interventions. Although statements are not clear. They still manage to update  their current situation. It's more than enough to understand that we should work hard for bitcoins now a days. There are no easy ways. Hopefully, chances are still open for everyone.

Good news indeed, but not really a surprise for those who use a bit of common sense. Remember that this is a move from exchanges to cover their asses from possible worse case scenarios. A few have said it is temporary, and a few have said they will consider it later. None have said it is permanent. Of course the licences will come in and everything can start up. Then not only will the price recover, it will even increase. This is called consolidation, that's all!

Why earlier they could operate without any license? I feel that every exchange needs a license to operate but with those new regulations, how easily will they be able to purchase it? Now with two exchanges shutting down, they haven't mentioned that they would restart their operation and whether they will seek any license. Whatever happens, it's going to take months for them as they'll take months to get a license and till then the Chinese market will depend on okcoin mainly and OKcoin has stopped CNY deposits which means that only crypto to crypto trades continue. There's nothing mentioned about them shutting down.

The whole issue was about licensing and not bitcoin being illegal,Once they sorted it all and exchanges are given the license to operate, This will inadvertently make the price of bitcoin jump again once this whole mess is eventually sorted out.

So basically China enacts new anti-BTC laws.  Then quickly modifies those regulations in a pro-BTC way.

Hmmm...

China generally does not like if something is happening on their turf and they don't have any control over it. Therefore all the steps that they're taking are not so surprising.

Again today many news in CoinDesk which speaks positive side and mass adoption corporates and Japan mining implementation worth some million USD. Now Chinese news about licensing issue resolved. Buyers who bought already will make huge profit by the way.

I think they had taken a serious move for them to let the exchanges to voluntarily shut down in order for them to follow the regulations of their government. This is somehow not surprising since they were very strict when talking about business. Those who bought at the dip will surely gonna get a better profit at the right time.

It doesn't matter what anyone or any country does at this point, even China. It really doesn't the bottom line is the market cap of Bitcoin is getting to big for anyone person or company to affect it that much and this is why what really matters is our own individual efforts to promote and share Bitcoin not this news.

This is what is expected from China, the FUD news surround the fuzz will be gone pretty soon and the markets will recover,if they have any plans to ban bitcoin in the first place they could have done that earlier when they banned exchanges because of the inflation they are creating in the market as they initially did not have any fees and now they are making it strict for them to have a regulators license and these are all positive things for the future.

One, none of the exchanges have mentioned about them reopening the trades if they have then I am a bit outdated with it, and all the bull shit about China banning exchanges and JP Morgan playing a trick at the same time to manipulate the market in their terms has caused bitcoin and altcoins fluctuate on a large scale and this made people panic like it always has, so if something like this happens next time, people are going to do the same and the prices are going to get affected.

We can stay above $3000 without intervention of the chinese markets as we have seen in the past hours. I no longer worry about if china re-enters the market or not, stop worrying and it will be okay. If we can solidly stay above $3000 without chinese money buying, it proves china as a whole was overrated. This has ended up strengthening bitcoin because governments have seen that in a post-ban scenario the price recovers once again. Now we need to hit ATH to put a nail in the coffin of the government banning ideas.

Well this is a welcome news, but for me the good news was that knowing market share went down of china and now they hold hardly 10% of the coins. So basically China created this mess to first get the prices lower, then bring the exchanges under regulations and earn tax on it, like how Japan is doing but I do hope they don't get a big market share again, it's a pain if they are in control. But I hope this news cheers the Bitcoin community.

Since we maintain about $3000 given of what is happenning in china, and now that the chinese fix and regulates their exchanges, we can now assumed that the price of bitcoin would get high and will reach $6000 dollars this year. This is a good investment oppprtunity for every one specially small time traders.

I think that China's ban is temporary in order to regulate prices and soon they will again allow bitcoin. it is simply unprofitable for them to remain without such advantages.

Do you mean you only have to pay to obtain the license? Or is the purchase part because of corruption?

What are the rules for the new licenses that will be required for Bitcoin exchanges on China?

If you purchased bitcoin before the exchanges have availed of their license you can still buy bitcoin at a lower value. And when the exchanges have finally complied all the licenses to continue their operation the value of bitcoin will skyrocket once again. Thus it is profitable of we take advantage of this moment and buy more bitcoin and sell it later when the price have skyrocket.

This a really good news. This will clear all the FUDs and once that happened bitcoin will be stable and people won't do panic selling. And once those markets are back or probably right after they are gone bitcoin could jump up on price again so if you have some extra money to spend try buying some coins.

Whether this is true or not i think it would still be best to buy bitcoins and other altcoins if you do have the money for it.
Because i believe one day the prices of cryptocurrencies will surpass its previous all time high.
So why wait for the time when everybody else is buying too, why not do it now while the price is still low.

Again, is this legit?. If yes, then the 'ban' is not an actually banning exchanges but closing down those exchanges who doesn't have any licenses?. Ohh, i do now get it. Chinese Government is really working hard to regulation cryptpcurrencies on their country to prevent threat to their own monetary policies and activities.

Finally things get better now. It is for those who are patient that this will not be detrimental. In fact, those who had bought bitcoin at the price of 3000 $ it will get big profits. China has changed everything right now.

Er, no. It means they're going to close and stay closed. There's been no mention of licensing or any interest in ensuring the survival of any exchange in China. The only fact shared is that they have to close. The reopening bit is pure conjecture and bollocks to boot.
