Mingo is launching a cryptocurrency pre-sale to raise €2,000,000 at 3pm GMT on the 25th September 2017, in advance of our planned Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in the 1st quarter of 2018. I think you should also add which apps Mingo supports. Since you can use all on one app.

You will be able to discover other Mingo users in your contact lists. As you connect your chat channels (like Facebook, Twitter, Skype, etc) you'll see all of your contacts, and if they have Mingo installed, you will see a visual indication and can easily transact with them.

Even your contacts who don't have Mingo, you will be able to "send" them crypto and Mingo will invite them to download and set up Mingo to accept.

Excellent question. Kik is actually complimentary to what we are doing. They are a single channel of communication. Mingo allows users to link their multiple channels in a way that they can see all of their messages from each contact in one feed, instead of jumping between apps or even jumping between tabs in the same app. It's literally one feed for each of your contacts regardless of how many that contact is connected to you through.

There may even be an opportunity to incorporate Kik into Mingo at some point. We're evaluating all of the major messaging channels in addition to the ones we already have.

If this was the title, you could be sure that I would invest a bit and would be join to the ico. But when the title was "to teach the crypto," the project fell directly to my spam in my head and I thought it is a scam.
I do not believe that someone in this market can teach crypto. If a person sits and search on his own, he can learn the crypt. Individual research is needed to understand the ecosystem. I research this system, read it, see it, hear it last 4 years, before the empty day. I can copy Bitcoin and create a new coin, and I can compile it on every platform that comes to your mind. I build up pool, do mining. If it is needed to evaluate over 100, I give 20 points on my self-experience. Even in this way I see myself as nothing. Mingo mingo, these are wet jobs.

I'm not sure which part is a concern for you, but I'll do my best to address your comment. Forgive me if I miss the mark a bit, feel free to correct.

There are a number of components to Mingo, but we are really trying to focus on just a few of them so as to avoid confusion.

The core utility of MingoCoin is Behavior Incentivization. In other words, we turn learning cryptocurrency into a game and reward you with real cryptocurrency. The implications of this are huge as Behavior Incentivization is the basis for advertising, loyalty programs, etc. MingoCoin becomes the unit of reward that we can quantify behaviors with.

Keep in mind, we don't intend to become an "Advertising" platform. If we ever get into advertising it will be strictly opt-in. Loyalty programs, learning programs, and straight up gaming integrations are where we are planning to go. Loyalty and Learning can already be implemented with our current strategic partners, but we just made some serious progress in the gaming space...something we have had planned since day one.

We are currently in the Pre-ICO for about another week.

I'm not sure the concern. It is an ambitious project. We've already put over €600,000 of our own into it. We've already cracked the messaging channel challenge which is the hardest technical component. Most of the R&D will go toward stabilizing messaging, UX, and building out our Wallet.

Everyone wants to mainstream crypto. That is a common claim. We're just doing it by leveraging people's existing messaging channels to do it.

The author of the article was asking EI if they supported the ICO, which they don't and did make a call to Joe for clarification. Mingo has been very careful to mention that EI supports the product, not the ICO, but journalists will be journalists. We can't speak for the other ICO.

And to answer your question, yes. Just imagine that you are in Mingo, connected to Telegram, and you send MGT to a friend who also has Telegram but not Mingo, they will receive a message like, "Silverstar has sent you 1,000 MGT. To claim it, download Mingo." Once that is is done, you can send MGT back and forth via Mingo. And if they have Mingo installed and are still in Telegram's native app, if they click the link to claim their MGT, it will automatically open Mingo for them and allow them to accept the MGT.

That is correct. We have some special new information coming out in the next few weeks that will clarify it, but ultimately we will reward people for using the app.

There are few months for ICO to start after a successful of pre-ico with more than 4200 Ethereum raised in this round. I didn't see about this project and now just at of sudden found out. I expect the main ICO to be much more interesting and busy as more people will be aware of the potential of project by then.

What "still can not"? Just scroll down menu and after choosing "other" in it enter contract address of MINGO. It seems working for me.
