so ripio is mainly re-branding with an ico, i love dealing with projects which are operational as they provide credibility and trust, a word from the ceo could provide more meaning full and trustworthy.

I think a similar project was launched couple of months back called "Onix". If I may ask what makes this project different from someone of the other projects that prehaps hover around the came concept like you guys go? The details looks promosing to be honest, however, just trying to understand how all of this brings new value to the table.

I received an email, a few minutes ago, saying it was from Ripio with the message that "Ripio Credit Network is happy to announce that the token pre-sale event has started." and to send Ether to an address detailed in the email.
I can only surmise that this is a scam as I'm pretty sure I never signed up for the Ripio pre-sale.

The scammers sent out a fake email link (that looked very legit), and I thought a bunch of ETH was sent to the fake address. I know I received the fake email link. I didn't fall for it, but I can see how lots of people would.

Ripio is a very good project, despite Element group's mismanagement of the crowdsale. I believe that it will take off any time now. Proper communication is very important and I truly hope that they realize that.

I've another coin, tradeable only on EtherDelta, and it's price has collapsed from it's ICO since being listed on EtherDelta.
EtherDelta is the Elephants' Graveyard of altcoin.

The crowdsale didn't go well, some issues happen, and the team didn't handle it. I guess that is the mistake you are talking about.

Their website was compromised, and some investors sent ETH to hacker's address.
And before ICO was finished, RCN had been traded at Etherdelta at a -30% discount.

They are not only not handling it, they are just being extremely elusive. I got kicked out of their telegram for asking questions. They are still selling at full price when they know that the token trades at a discount in Etherdelta.

Price at etherdelta is now about 0,0002 ETH/RPC. It was the same even after 1 hour after ICO begins. I think only one possible solution. There was a big discont for some 'strategic' investors

I don't know why new coins are listed on EtherDelta, I find it one of the most impossible exchanges to navigate - even Yobit is better.
It's a pity when ICO's go awry, I've been in a few and not one has not had some sort of problem.

The price is about 2 times of the ico price, I do know why it can be listed on bittrex, binance and huobipro so fast, maybe the dev team are very powerful, it is time to buy some.

A peer-to-peer lending network is amazing in my opinion! I just learned about RCN, can someone explain to me what distinguishes it from other p2p lending projects , such as ETHLend? Also for what us RCN used? For lending as well or is credit only given in another currency? Another question is what currencies are supported for lending? Have just come across Ripio and have to say, it's fundamentally solid. Definitely a sleeping a giant in this sea of coins. Tim Draper is also an INVESTOR, with skin in the game, which is encouraging to see. Not sure who he is, do a quick google look up haha. Reputable American Venture Capital investor of large tech eg twitter, Skype, Tesla and so on - he was a big believer of bitcoin, putting money where his mouth is, investing in buying 30,000 bitcoin during its early days. Like they say, follow the smart money!

In terms of ripio itself, it has moved from strength to strength through the expansion of strategic partnerships (more recently with KYBER) allowing them to further increase their reach in the most needed areas Asia and Latin America.

I have to admit that marketing, PR and exposure can do better for what it is currently, but that's because they're focusing on what matters most, the product! As you may know their recent announcement is currently in progress Advanced Smart Contracts + network agents + SDK implementation, so busy times ahead.

Glad to have found it here, this has plenty of legs in it and handled by a team who have experience in this field already.

In my opinion RCN has an interesting project and with the union with MANA, it is a matter of time for the project to take off, the community is strong, and its maturation time is concretizing, it is a big token for 2018.

A friend told me to look into RCN, not really a fan tho but as i read some info this interest me more on RCN. I think it has great potential, have a good roadmap, concept of the project is nice and has a great team core. Looking forward for next year for RCN.

Beware! As soon as he reccommends a coin, it takes a dive! To that end, it would be nicer if he reccommended about 200 coins a day. Would've been easier to avoid them and invest in others. Check the price before he tweeted and now. he's quite unlucky or his research team is letting him down.

He also recommended Factom, which interestingly enough is ANOTHER blockchain project that Tim Draper has invested in....just follow Drapers money around and invest where he invest and you will probably do really well with your crypto investments.

I added some Ripio tokens to my position as I researched project well and expect it will bring true value after launch this year. CEO has been speaking at lending events recently and some are saying they will launch this month, I am not exactly sure what the ICO price was, maybe its still a little bit above but the chart looks good on this one especially with updates coming..

There was some interesting price action a week ago (i think?) where it spiked to 1900sats but then came right back down, i thought about taking profit there and moving on.

Not sure if pumps are the desired outcome of every bit of progress. Organic growth over time with strong hands in the game are awesome as that creates real price support.

I don't like pumps.. It gives a short-term effect. I like it better when the price grows slowly but steadily. This is the best option!

Just admit that you're super-pissed off that Crypto-rainbow kicked your salty ass out of the airdrop. No free money for you, and now you have to wait years for it to get a decent value, actual value.

Problem with pumps is that it creates disappointed losers who then start to bash the project instead of supporting it.

I think they need to reach out to coinmarketcap admins to get that fixed. That can be quite a hassle as they take their time to respond.

Maybe I shouldn't have called it pump. Recovery should be a better choice.

I gotta say kinda cant believe there is so little being talked about on this thread . I just found this project on binance and Im like what ? market cap under 10 million ? this is clearly Argentina's finest crypto project & the guy has been at it since 2013. i don't think this is just a pump on binance . I honestly think something is up because it shouldn't have been so low in the first place . maybe some pumping going along because someone knows something just happened ? Im just going by how low it was & how much they have going on , this has only 500 mill circulation & 8.2 mill market cap

Yes, there is a positive trend in price growth. On February 21, the token made almost x2, and today is not a bad result. I hope that there will be more growth further.

I guess they were suggested as a pick by a telegram/twitter group last week someone said it has 700,000 followers but I haven't checked it out personally.  I think the project has a lot more going for it than that . so many if not most alts fell 95% over 2018 & I believe this one would have started to recover regardless of it being promoted . which is prob why it was promoted by this group . but it would be good to hear something of substance from the dev .. Notice today's gains came from very little volume compared to the 2 previous legs up.  Looks like another day with 2k btc on binance could see this up well over 100% & looking 6 months back it could justifiably do that a few times & hold those gains & just keep going ...
