Hi everybody, this is my first topic. I'm wondering why the PIVX price has not risen since the China crisis. More or less all the other major coins have resumed their run but that's not the case of PIVX. This is very strange to me because I think that PIVX should be one of the most valuable coins today available in terms of tech and developement structure. what's happening to PIVX  ???

What the F**K is happening to PIVX??? And yet they've just updated a lot of features... Zerocoin protocol... etc.. This is the best crypto tech available ! The best developement equipe... The price is ridicolously low!


Android Wallet Available in 9 Languages

The Core Desktop Wallets and Android Wallets are also being translated for users, with the Android Wallet now available in 9 languages! PIVX Added to Multiple New Exchanges
PIVX has been added to Buyucoin.com, an Indian Exchange, marking our first exchange in that country, as well as listings on coinroom.com, and crypto-bridge.org.  You can also easily buy, sell or exchange PIVX with the Coinomi Wallet on Android using built-in Changelly support.

Android Wallet Performance Improvements
The android wallet is already live, but is considered a Beta release, and will continue to be improved with major UI updates, additional features, and performance improvements through the end of the year. More info to be shared on any new features once available.

Zerocoin Protocol To Launch + Crypographer Joined Team
Zerocoin Protocol is going live in Q4 and anyone is welcome to help test the open invite Beta, or check out this video demo which shows the process of minting and spending with Zerocoin.  Please join the #libzero slack channel if interested to test it out for yourself. Additionally, a professional cryptographer has joined the team to review the implementation, and to help design the next iteration of protocol improvements to be even more efficient and secure.
 
 
New iOS Wallet Release
An iOS Wallet implementation is also going to be in development by our developer @furszy, who worked on the Android Wallet, so expect it to have near-parity to the current Android wallet out today.  It is unclear if this would be available in the App Store at launch but will be a monumental step forward as it gives PIVX coverage on the two most popular mobile OS's.
 

Multi-Sig UI Integration
Multi-sig wallets are already available today but only through the command line.  This upgrade will provide users an interface to control the feature, which will be a welcome addition to making it easier than ever to secure user’s wallets from malicious entities. Ledger Hardware Wallet Integration
Last issue, we mentioned that hardware wallets were in discussion. We're excited to share that Ledger Integration will be available this fall, likely Mid-Late October, with the timing mostly dependent on the Ledger team’s integration work.  Staking while holding off-line funds is not possible, but compatibility for holding Masternode collateral is both possible and planned to be supported in the near future. Additionally, Customized Ledger Nano's are coming early next year, so if you're interested to get your own PIVX branded Ledger, please reply back and let us know. As a rule of a thumb: if you like the project, if you see the potential, then wonder no more. Instead, buy (or if you already have, buy more). Use the opportunity to buy at the low price whenever you see situations like this one was.

Whenever I see a coin which I consider strong, lagging with the price when others already went up, I try to profit from it, because there is a high probability that it will join the uptrend very soon. Either that, or I need to reasess my knowledge and dig a bit deeper into why I was wrong, in which case, again, I can only take something good out of it. :)

PIVX is not pump and dump coin, so you should increase your patience on it.
don't worry i believe this coin is one of the best coin on crypto world at this moment with a huge potential in the future

IS PIVX much better than AEON?

Well with zerocoin protocol coining out today, it’s looking good in that department.  PIVX is easy to use.  It has the community backing.  You can stake coins or run a masternode.  No mining, which is great!  A good crypto shouldnt need mining imho.  That’s where ETH is going.  PIVX will skyrock.

pivx does 0 advertisement in this forum, of course a lot of people have still no idea about it. joining the pivx slack is an eye opener how big it really is...

And soon the final release wallet will be adopted by all exchanges...

I heard in one of their video's that you'll be able to stake or run a masternode from a hard wallet address.  That's incredible.

I still need to pick up some PIVX, hoping near the BTC hardfork this hits a bottom.

I really like the development of Pivx, although it doesn't allow short term profits.
From a technological point of view Pivx is one of the best coins, but still there isn't that much hype around and increase is very constant and healthy.
Recent low is just due to the 2 BTC hard forks. All altcoins suffer from this (don't agree with author at this point). Good opportunity to bulk up your coins.

Agreed.  It’s way undervalued.  Will be top 10 in time.  I’ve been into crypto since 2013.  I’ve looked at many many coins.  I’m heavy on PIVX.  80% of my portfolio.  I successfully sent a zpiv today to bittrex.  Completely untraceable.   Is a matter of time.

Pivx is one of the good coins by now, as it increased from too low to $1 it may be suppressed now by the whale but in the long term it will increase for certain.

In these days, pivx has collapsed again to a value of 2.64 $ (at the time of writing). I'm worried about the many issues that the wallet has met. Many people, like me, still have problems of syncing with the last release 3.0.4. Many have lost PIVs and I am not sure If I've lost too...
I have my .dat bkups but nothing is working. A lot of confusion has arised from PIV to ZPiv auto conversion.
The announcement that the PIVX network was not safe was just visible on their Facebook page and I've noticed it just by chance...
Ahead of this step I fear that PIVX will slowly die...
Despite all these fears I still believe in PIVX because it's an amazing tech, but still not working properly and a little bit difficult to manage.
What do you think? ???

Most crypto-s a little bit difficult to manage. It is a problem for the big market but for now is ok. Pivx as well as many other private coins undervalued right now. It will be much higher in the price after the market becomes more regulate.

During the zPIV conversion, I sent 1 zPIV to bittrex and thought it was lost.  It magically appeared after the 3.0.4 update.  I sent a zPIV after the update and it was sent seamlessly and anonymously.  PIVX will not die, is simply experiencing growing pains.  I'm holding.

The latest wallet release is just solid. The more I use zPIV the more I love it. It's awesome, fast and so cheap to transfer. It's the best privacy chain.

Hello. I am holding pivx too, im looking long term. After the fork pivx should go back to 3,5 and for the beginning of the  next year i would say 10 is the target. After that who knows. Do your own research.

Seems that we are finally getting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This update of the pivx chain wasn't that easy. I hope this latest wallet version is the good, and that finally it's done ;). Wait and see ;).

I remember the price of pivx which rose in the late period when the last coin was good. If you bought this coin, you should be prepared for the long term.

PIVX seems like a better DASH, since it has no shady pre-mine. Also it has a huge and active community

Seeing this topic really makes my cry  :'( i still wonder why the fuck i was not invest in PIVX before the price was less than two dollars each one of them, i really regret of that.

When this coin officialy launched i blamed a lot of people because i told them that this coin was going to be a failure, i really regret about that.
Everyday that i check coinmarketcap it is making at least a six percent a day, maybe a little bit more if all the market is suddenly in red, but pivx is always on red, i dont know the real reason of that.
But i do not if should i invest or not, it is still a very risky situation to invest because it is always going up..

It is true that I keep my PIVX since early 2017.

I like PIVX but there are so many better alternatives out there than that. The market is really centered to privacy coins and we have many competitors. Monero, Zcash, PIVX, it's really difficult to differentiate one from another because they all basically want to the same thing, or are aiming for it (private transactions) but each project is using a different approach, technology and obviously team to achieve that. Out of all the privacy coins out there PIVX is one of the least advanced one's in my opinion. Monero has already a huge market share but a good candidate to multiply your returns would be Zcash. Zcash is using by far the most advanced technology and that has been confirmed by many veterans in the industry. Research first all privacy coins before investing in one of them. After you understood how they work you'll have a more clear idea where to put your money in.

PIVIX looks pretty confident now. The impression he caught the rising wave behind BITCOIN. In General, one of the few who cryptowall BITCOIN a little lost since growth. In March you could buy a 2500 sat now price: 43 500 cat. And it is only a BITCOIN in dollars, probably all the X100 did.

PIVX is one of the privacy coins you should consider holding. If you like find that it is not possible to determine the winner of the “privacy coin race” then consider buying these – XMR, DASH, ZEC, PIVX and XVG. I honestly have no idea which one is going to be the winner. At one time I thought it was Monero but now I am not so certain anymore.

pivx looks very good now. Quite surely kept during all these halts with BTC. I think soon we will be able to see the price more than $ 10. The current price is $ 5. Strong team and good marketing (seen as goods even branded great). I think in the long project will surely grow

No, going much higher. Pivx is a stable coin.  Look at its history.  It always plateau’s then pulled back then pops then does it all over again.  It’s a $100 coin in ‘18

Binance was late, but the listing was good. The price could have risen much more if the market was not in general decline.

So it touched $13,00 AGAIN.

I am really happy about PIVX, i am a true holder since the price was roughly $5 each one of them.

I am glad that i bought a bunch of them more than one month ago.. This is one of the most solid coins at the moment.

What Pivx needs is to scale IRL. And it can do it... iOS wallet + flexible blocksize... there are no limits. the price in fiat...

This is one of my favorite coins. The price of the coin is very volatile and thanks to this you can profit from daily trading. But I think that in the future the price of this anonymous coin will be much higher.

I agree.  People just don’t understand pivx yet.  Pivx has the properties of a crypto currency that is prime for mass adoption.

zpiv is just mind blowing... for a flat fee of 0.01 pivx I can annonymized 5000 pivx. No other coin can do that.

Do not forget that Binance has recently added PIVX, that can give it a big push in terms of trading volume, I think it will go much higher this year, however, now is a good time to pick some coins during this altcoins dip.

zPIV minting... then DEX ... if only apple could authorize the iOS wallet... that is very annoying to be dependent from a centralized authority...

To my great regret, the technical side of the question rarely affects the price of a particular coin. Now only the popularity is influenced by the interest of large investors.

You are not quite right, the prospects and the technical side of the project lure investors, and as you understand, investors themselves set a price on the stock exchanges.

The project looks strong and PIVX tries to keep its price, it's a pity that the technical side of the project can not affect the price of the coin itself, it all depends on the traders themselves.

I believe in private coins. This is one of the most promising coins in this area. I noticed the fact that this coin did not fall much, in contrast to many other coins. This indicates that people trust this project.
