I have seeing a very strong buying signal across most of the exchangers platforms and I think $5000 is already at hand.  Currently bitcoin's price is at $4607 and if we get another serious push again we may break the resistance at$4950 area. I have also See MACD and relatively strength index showing a very strong bullish momentum.

I am agree with your opinion but 5000$ level is not even resistance for big uptrend.New uptrend wave will create a storm on markets and all other cryptocurrencies will follow same path.

We will see what happens during this week, i think it is too early to predict that because we are still on Sunday, but maybe you are right, i have been looking at the charts and we are on a overbought zone, if bitcoin works like stocks do, the price is showing a bearish trend in the next hours, but obviously that this works 100%  diferent than other markets, and obviously that it will keep going up again, we only need to wait for it to happen

I don't think so. That's indeed something to look forward to but, Bitcoin is still recovering from the downfall which happened recently and given the fact that the hardfork is approaching, so dumps are also expected. Maybe after the hardfork pumps will be continuous and will make Bitcoin break the 5000-dollar mark before this year end and unfortunately, not this week or month.

I don't think that we will see that price in this week and it will take long time to achieve that milestone and no doubt price has started to recover once again now but may be we will have to wait for the end of the year to see the price of $5k and if it achieves that price in this week then many people will start selling their coins for sure.

Yes that is very right to say, i think that bitcoin will cross the 5000$ in no time, but still the price of bitcoin will continue increasing, because i present time people are more interested to invest money in bitcoin and to get a good profit in return in a very very short time. i think that this time bitcoin price will smoothly cross 8000$ in next few months, because in near future we are expecting to hear good new about bitcoin.

Nothing for sure if we're talking about bitcoin price as people may intrigue to sell bitcoin at current price, then many people will follow which cause bitcoin price get corrected. People tend to cash out whenever bitcoin reach another ATH, or at least at some point bitcoin reach $4800-$4900, just before it reach certain price like $5000. But, there is no any bad news so far that may affect bitcoin price, and don't know about good news regarding bitcoin acceptance somewhere across the world, so it just a normal price I guess.

Possible,bitcoin broke resistance on 4500$ and if will keep that level we will see 5000$
And than we will have massive fud about seagwit2x activation and price will drop.That will be not funny becouse it will be double top

$5000 this week is a bold statement but possible, I think breaking $5000 will prove difficult though. It was hard enough the first time around with the psychological aspect of it and it will be similar this time. Many will have bought at around $3k recently and will be quite contented with taking a nice profit at an ATH.

It will turn out to be a very interesting happening if the price actually manages to touch the $5000 mark, because as it is right now, the USD exchanges still haven't reached it ~ they all peaked slightly below the $5000 mark.

That being said, it's still not that much of a big deal if we do happen to touch it with the potentially severe uncertainties that we will go through due to the upcoming hard fork in November ~ this is yet another obstacle.

Only if we manage to walk out more or less unharmed, I see the road clear to move up to $6000 and even $7000 this year. If not, we'll likely remain jumping up and down between $3000/$5000 for the rest of this year.

Anything is possible but we cannot be sure what exactly will happen in coming days as people are expecting to see that price at the end of the year but as we know bitcoin is full of surprises and we may touch that price very soon and in the end of the year it may go above $6k so fingers are crossed and lets be positive and hope for the best.

your right i agree on that prediction bitcoin rising the price upto 5000$ before end of the year but possibility for bitcoin in coming november fork to decrease the price a little but after that fork bitcoin goes faster run to the top level get the higher price for this year end.

Hopefully it will reach because anything is possible but i dont think so especially that South Korea ban their ICO for the reason that they need to ensure that they can control the bitcoin together with the altcoin trading and investments for the welfare of their people. But i strongly believed it will meet the $5000 speculation by first week of November and $6,000 by December.

Well im not sure here if its gonna spike to 5000$ before this week end but im pretty sure it will before the hard fork starts, based on TA its eyeing 6000$ - 10,000$ before these years ends. Hoping for the best, fingers cross. Lets go!  ;D

Maybe if the growth continues in the similar manner, we'll reach $5000 or even higher by this weekend. The price has begun to grow tremendously from the starting of the week. Hope the same continues for a longer time period making it reach high. As an user predicted its good to see the price $6000 before the year end.

I think it is still a normal movement bitcoin has made it is not a surging going up but a normal rising to me, but we can really make it to the $5000 this time for sure, we recently have a drop in the value so it is now time for us to go up, and I really think it is the best way to still buy bitcoin before a surge in the next week we see the price reach the $4800 mark value!

Increased bitcoin prices today can happen very quickly. we have seen that over the past few days bitcoin prices continue to experience a positive trend. no sense impossible when saying something about bitcoin. all can happen because bitcoin often makes a miracle and an impossible thing to happen.

It was really a strong buying signal at the time I check the chart some hours ago and bitcoin value was at $4,613.23. There is a tendency that bitcoin may reach $5,000 before end of the week but who knows what tomorrow holds of what may likely happen maybe fundamentally or otherwise.

Maybe it will happen 5k dollars we see before end of this week. As of now the price of bitcoin is 4600 dollars and 400 dollars more to reach 5k dollars. We need unity so if you have extra money in your wallet its better to buy bitcoin now and for sure after few weeks you will earn a lot of profit . More bitcoin more profit to come. Absolutely correct! Bitcoin price seems to be increasing slowly and by the end of the week it can easily break the $5000 mark. It's been so long and I've been eagerly waiting to see the bitcoin price to go back to $5000 and finally it's only a matter of days to see that price again. Now the price of bitcoin is $4.6k and is having a strong support so will wait for just 2 days to see the $5k mark and then if we are lucky then we would be able to see more than that as in the previous rally bitcoin reached a high of $5.15k so this time i am assuming  that it will go higher.

What indicators did you use in order to know that Bitcoin will go up to 5000$? I also see that the MACD is on a bullish divergence but from what I learn the MACD is not reliable anymore above the range of 200 which it is now. Also backing up my story is the non-increasing volume which does not show an increase in demand. This might well be a price manipulation in order for the price goes up so beware of a sudden price change as the charts says it so/

This week seems to be a very waiting week because today the price rose more than $ 75 in the last 6 hours, seems to be about to reach $ 5000 so we have to be patient to sell and wait for higher prices.

I will have to agree with your speculations, they are accurate and might be true. However, I think end of the week for that value is too soon, say end of this months.

Looking at the current value of bitcoin I must say that it has the potential of reaching $5000 probably by the end of this month. We should try and understand that the value of bitcoin doesn't take time to recover and the same applies to when crashing.  In my opinion, I think that bitcoin will soon begin reaching new all time highs.

With some recent news about countries adopting bitcoin and even schools accepting bitcoin, it gives positive feedback for bitcoin and it serves as a good ad for the coin. A lot of businessmen gave some bad comments last week but in turns out a their are more who wants take of the bitcoin currency. In some perspective, bitcoin can be used in illegal means but more and more news are positive about the bitcoin.

It can even reach the $5000 within this week. I haven't seen any bad news about bitcoin. I see that people are very optimistic about what's gonna happen to bitcoin. If the price continues to pump, it can hit the $10,000 mark next year. Also i think people are now saving and buying bitcoins as much as they can because of the hardfork on bitcoin. Of course they are goins to get split coin which is bitcoin gold. Who don't want free bitcoin gold? From the previous fork bitcoin cash is worth below one thousand dollars. In my opinion, price of bitcoin will reach 5000 dollars only by the mid or end of december this year. Now the bitcoin's price is increasing. That doesn't mean it will reach 5000 dollars this week. Don't forget about the fork that is going to come in november. Because of this many traders will hesitate to buy btc from this week onwards thinking what will happen to their btc during the time of fork.

If the pump continue to grow bitcoin may really reach $5000 this week, it seems that the pump started to hit again and it’s a good sign that bitcoin is getting stronger and more stable but it can also a sign that it may suddenly crashed again, I did not sell my bitcoin yet and I am hoping and waiting till it reach $5000.

I think before we have another significant clash again we may get to $5000 as many bots has placed taking profits at this point including my own. Get to $5000 is already in sight and we most achieved this before Sigwit2x activation. Many comments on reddit show a positive outlook and if this momentum continue we may achieve a break of $5000 before the end of this week.

We are almost to come there and this one will be reachable since the upcoming hardfork can contribute it well since it can make the bitcoin holders hold and drive people to buy since they want to get some bitcoin cash for that said date. And the feelings for the people for it is positive since they already see that BCH realising doesn't affect the bitcoins price and it soar so high and maybe after the bitcoin gold goes out the price of BTC would climb again on this.

No it will not be going at $5,000 before this week ends. There is a strong resistant about the buy and sell volume, it's a fight against the people who want to buy more because of the split with bitcoin gold and for those people that are just profit seekers and will finally sell at $4,600 and scared of losing some more because they know that dip can happen anytime.

I must agree bitcoin can possibly hit $5000 before the end of this week because seeing the price chart it is obvious that bitcoin continue to appreciate I can say this is a preparation for the upcoming hard fork. I guess we should also be ready because there might be a sudden drop that can happen soon.

It sounds really good, yeah I think that's a possible.. that bitcoin price will keep moving and could reach $5000 before the end of this week. It is 4555$ now on Bistamp and in a week time it can be easy touch 5000$ because 200-300$ up/down in single day is nothing for BTC.What is the reason for this price increase we can only speculate,but one reason could be upcoming fork and announced bitcoin gold coin.So people are buying BTC to profit with new coin like many profit with bitcoin cash recently.

Maybe not so importnat,but there is some rumor that China exchanges will operate again under some new rules.Many are happy because China is out,but with regulated exchanges this is just more power to BTC.

After fork there should be clear road on the way forward,but we should always be prepared for some obstacle on that path.It is easy to see 6000-7000$ at the end of this year,also we can go in the opposite direction.

It is highly unlikely to bitcoin to go up that high even if it is sitting to 4500$+. $5000 might be reached by next week if people continues to buy bitcoin to accumulate more for free money after fork but it reaching $5000 to soon at the end of this week won't be healthy for bitcoin. If that happens for sure a dip or dump might occur after fork. Even if that is the case, it really is a good time to buy right now but it is better to hold.

now every body wishes come true because we can break the barrier more than $45xx  ;D yeah i see it too in the chart but i think we might seen correction price before to go up. i see the trend now is getting up and i hope that there is no bad signals to people so they can still hold their bitcoin for another increasing price.

I have to agree with you that we won't be seeing the 5K mark by the end of this week. Although it seems possible, but I think it's a little bit hopeful statement. I am expecting 5K on as early as end of the month but not later than 2nd week of November. And yes, we should also consider the coming fork to come. I'm not sure how will that affect the market but I am hoping for the best and that like what happened after the August hardfork same thing will happen after this oncoming fork and that is to reach another ATH.

I was expecting to read more, you nicely described the situation of the past two days, it was the same before the previous hard fork. price pushed upwards with no brake on the wheels. it could reach $7000 and bounce back sub $6000 but I think if that happens, price might stay above $5000 similar to the recent changes, price changed but it stayed above $4000 for the longest time.

Look like that even before the end of this Week the price of bitcoin will easily cross 5000$, because the price of bitcoin is currently trading above 4600$ and still the price of bitcoin is increasing continuously. Therefore we can expect that the price of bitcoin will easily cross 5000 in next few days, i am sure that this time the rally will continue for a long time and hopefully at the end of 2017 we will see the price of bitcoin trading above 8000$.

With the current trend that we have right now, it is very possible that we will reach $5k this week. People are buying hard and want to hold every BTC they could get. I think, this is because of the upcoming "free" money from BTC gold and segwit2x. Many learned that they could have made huge profit if they just hodl their BTC when BCH entered the market and they don't want to make that same mistake. This buying craze will at least last until the fork. Hodl tight guys. :)

We are heading right now into that range which it is almost $200 away and we would hit that resistance and might break it which this would really be a good thing. We are just starting on the day of this week and we might really possible to hit or break that if the momentum of this price increase would remain but well expected zigzag movement would be there because there are people who would really take profits.

Excited to see bitcoin hitting $5000 again. Good times are really ahead of us. And yes its just start of the day and what a good showing. Remember same time last month, bitcoin price is slowly losing because of the negative news from China but after just a month we are heading to $5000 again. Although the increase on its market value is continuous as of this moment, it will still be hard for Bitcoin to reach the 5k mark this week or this month since hardfork in November is also approaching and Bitcoin is still recovering from the decline on its price recently. It is still possible for Bitcoin to reach 5k this month but not this week, and don't get me wrong, I'm just stating that it will be hard for Bitcoin and if it will be able to reach that goal, ofcourse it will be good for Bitcoin and its users especially its investors.

I don't think it has anything to do with that.  It's simply people dumping their altcoins to buy bitcoin and get free coins after the fork.  There is no other explanation for what's going on right now.

You are absolutely right. Wouldn’t you do the same? It is a huge advantage to make more money for free, and it is left for every wise person to utilize it for their own benefit. It is just a bit bad for anyone holding alts right now, cause it is a really bad time for them and some who are still holding them as they are getting dumped pretty fast.

There are some things that could push Bitcoin's price to 5k and even beyond:
1. Chinese ban of crypto trading will turn out to be an only short-lived hindrance.
2. We will see some kind of economic crisis of the standard fiat powered economy.
3. We will have Bitcoin ETF or we get an official stamp of approval of Wall Street.

And the most probable cause of current high price and rising trend is simple - people want to get Bitcoin gold after the chain will split.
