Hey guys, very new here so if this is not the right board please redirect me.

if you look at the charts of litecoin, it has had the same trend for the last couple of months. It pumps up then drops all the way down to the support line, it is at the support line now, would it be a good time to buy litecoin ?

Are you going to be trading for a long time?
If you are looking to have the coin kept for a long time then purchase as much Litecoin as you can.

Anyway if you are planning on buying and holding for more of a long term trade then yes, now is the time to buy into Litcoin. However if you are a day trader or want a quicker investment then this probably isn’t the kind of investment for you.

And remember, always do your research and don’t rely solely on other people.

The reason litecoin is a winner on the long run, is because of charlie lee (the founder behind litecoin)....

it's basically the second best coin out there after bitcoin.
Dont fall for all these other small coins right now... except DeepOnion of course which is a coin with huge potential.

if you are not a risk taker , litecoin , bitcoin and ethereum is for you. Buy them and hold&forget them at least 1.5 years this is all you need to do.

Talking about a day when someone could "think of it as a pocket money for daily spending", do you mean litecoin's wider acceptance as payment method? As far as I'm concerned, the growig number of companies implementing LTC indicates and promotes its commercially successful opportonities in the same time.

In other words, the day you find yourself daily-spending LTC, would be a great time to begin buying it  ;)

Litecoin has been around for years and has never really gained any type of traction. It's a good coin to short-term trade, but I don't think it's a great long-term hold, the best gains are behind it. You are better off holding some newer coins that are actually making progress on whatever they are working on.

That being said litecoin is better than dogecoin, or a lot of the dodgy coins out there.

Its your own choice. Personally I wouldn't invest in for litecoin. Its price hardly moves.
Even if it moves its basically not profitable. Its not good for holding too.

I think that lite coin can be bought in any case because it's like an upgraded bitcoin version

Easy to trade, low fees, fast transactions. Should pop up again soon after the Bitcoin Gold Scam is over.
It's a transaction coin if you want to trade. Other than that, put your money in Bitcoin or Ethereum.

I wouldn't trust Litecoin or any altcoin charts or trends right now. Everything has been thrown into a mess because of the bitcoin price surge that makes it hard to do any technical analysis. Personally, i suggest you just get on the Bitcoin pump train until the Bitcoin Gold "dividend" is recorded (oct. 25). After that date, many speculate that money will be pour back into altcoins.

I think you can expect a little more. The fractures show it. but the decision is again your decision. I do not want to direct

Charts are all over the place with bitcoin increasing its the market share, if bitcoin holds or hits a top then the rest should follow soon enough

Litecoin is one of the good coins, I hold some.

Yea man, it has not gained any traction. It only has a market cap of 3+ Billion dollars and is only the 5th biggest crypto on the market. No traction at all.

For those who don’t get it, I was being sarcastic. Litecoin has gained a ton of traction, and with Bitcoin’s large fees it has leg to stand because of it’s really cheap fees.

This is common with major coins. Major coins include the fleet of coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, XRM, XRP, dash etc. Such coins are very promising for long term holding. Even if you buy today for $60 and it drops to $50 tomorrow, that doesn't mean your investment fell. Rather keep it for sometime and you will see the average price which is $50-80 currently will jump to $200-300. That's the beauty of major coins. Compare their present with past and make assumptions about their future. 

I bought litecoin when ot was 13 dollars and sold when it was 16. It was the worst decision i made. I should have hang on. I still think is a good investment though.

The price is cheap now but I am expecting more price dip for this alt before the fork. For long-term investment or trading it is a good time to buy some and wait for few weeks after the fork to trade at own risk. And when btc price becomes stagnant prepare for another dip.

Litecoin is usually a solid coin due to the team behind it. I wouldn't worry too much about the price now because it will usually go up. It's not called Bitcoin Silver for nothing.

in my opinion Litecoin is good buy now .it has a good potential to grow.in coing time it will move sharply to a new high.hope so.

I think that you should buy litecoin as it is very popular altcoin.it is almost 4 times faster than Bitcoin. Litecoin's worth remained the same for a long time so i think i will invest in litecoin.

I think that you should buy and hold litecoins as it is one of the fastest growing crypto available in the market. litecoin has a blocktime of 2.5 minutes which makes it 4 times faster than bitcoin and the transactions in litecoin are ligtning quick and charge very low fees .
it also has one of the strongest developement teams and you can expect healthy growth from litecoin in future.i am expecting that its price will be above 200$ within 2-3 years for sure.

For me the litecoin is a bronze in crypto.
So if you have a much of this coin just hold up
Because in last years the price will be progresssive up. So save it.

My experience in trading / investing is if litecoin goes down, I'm sure it will go back up. but Ltc is not for short trading / investment. So I mean if you want to trade / invest in litecoin you have to make it for the long term.

If you are not willng to hold and grow litecoin, you can't short it like other coin. Like coin trading is slow in terms of price flunctuation and, stable price make it a long term coin. As they say, litecoin is the silver of cryptocurrency! We already know the golden coin!

I dont think litecoin is very suitable for investment, unless you want to wait for a long term to get profit, litecoin is quite famous for early adopter and if you gamble you will notice  alot of places accepting litecoin, but like you said the growth is kind of slow and once it falls, it will be hard to get back

In my opinion, litecoin is unique coin, this coin is the most stable altcoin for years, if you think litecoin is on support line price then buy it, hold it after this coin pump, i think you will get much profit as long as you can keep them safe on your wallet

This is just my opinion please do your research before investing.

From the price movement of Litecoin, I think Litecoin still can't really keep moving towards the altitude. It can be said that Litecoin is still hesitant for continues moving to leads at altitude, after has increasing.. often decreases thereafter. But whether for now and so on, will Litecoin continue moving leads to the heights or it will repeat itself as usual, I can't yet guessing exactly.

The price moves really slow, most trading was done on BTC-E though I am not sure where all those people went to.
Maybe they are trading in Poloniex?

A good time to take Litecoin but for a long time not a good investment.

I would purchase Litecoin somewhere in a month or so if I still want the coin. The price would have to be really low in order for me to invest in it.

litecoin is mostly moving with bitcoin. when bitcoin rises it takes ltecoin with it too. although the rise is not the same size. LTC has been rising much smaller for some reason, probably manipulation and some panic selling that prevents that.

but you are completely correct about the support line. i have been watching it too. in the past few days i have actually placed multiple buy orders in low prices, usually around 0.01BTC because price doesn't seem to be able to break that and go below it.
in some small exchanges my buy orders were filled, and now i have so much more LTC than before. these swings can also be very profitable for short term trading to buy the dips and sell on top every few days.

Well, as per my research, Litecoin is a very stable altcoin and doesn't change much unlike bitcoin and Etherium, but I think in it will be a great investment if you want to hold this for a long term because Litecoin really has a good potential on rising.

Litecoin is definately here to stay. The team behind it is one of the strongest out there. It all depends on the % return you are after. Is it 100% or more because for that to happen with litecoin would take a lot.

For ltc and btc conversion ratio, ltc has been in a state of decline, I can not determine whether it really has room for appreciation, but it has a good market value, if long-term holding is possible, the proceeds will not be too much

For multiple reasons Litecoin is a perfect long time ivestement (as it has been stated earlier), which has proven to be a pretty good value for money. However, there is a certain risk (like with a every alternative cryptocurrency) that somewhere in the middle of the long term it might see a dip and loose a lot of it'svalue, so you have to be patient and also have to be well prepared for holding it (even at a loss). If I haven't scared you and they idea is still appealing to you- than you should certainly go for it. That's what I think

Litecoin looks to be a long time investment it does not grow much but it hasn't really crashed either. It is a good entry point and is relatively cheap. It depends on what profit you expect tho.

Price of litcoin is very low as compare to bitcoin but it is more expected that the price of litcoin is increased in future but it will take long time so if you are able to wait for a longtime then invest in it. Investment in litcoin need less money as compare to any other investment.

well litecoin has more supply and less real world applications so it is somehow supposed to be worth less than bitcoin.

although that is only when you compare it with bitcoin. but when compared to other altcoins Litecoin is being neglected in the market in my opinion. it is a very good coin. it has a solid development team and it has lots of new features making it compatible with the new world. it should be worth a lot more than $50ish.

i say real value of LTC is at least $400

I have that coin the litecoin and also the dogecoin I hold that coins for long term I guest, I did not spend it because they speculated that on the future that coins have a good value. Not like the bitcoin its rapidly move up the currency value and its good to invest than that doge and litecoins, but its your choice where to invest more its all profitable.

I personally do not look down on Litecoin, although the price is low, but Litecoin has excellent quality in their trade, therefore I dare to invest in their coins, maybe I will keep litecoin on for a long time, because I believe litecoin will grow in the future.

I think so too. Bitcoin will be overwelmed by fear because of hardforks. A lot of money will come to litecoin since it is thought to be safe in such situations. Many people think so. So you can bet for it like me.

Litecoin is very good alt coin for anyone. Now its value is 60.90 usd. It will pump more. After few years ltc holder will be surprised. One of my friend Tell that he hold ltc for changing her life.So, my prediction is going for ltc.

Basically Lite coin growth is very slow i think because over the past six months price is something up otherwise i did not see good price.I suggest LTC is not good for investment it's my personal opinion.

from early days people have been forking bitcoin and others have been saying the same as you just said. and bitcoin never even felt their presence!

you can already see from the bitcoin price that last time when bitcoin cash was a thing, price had a hard time rising. but this time despite bitcoin gold price is rising so much faster! it shows people are caring less and less each time someone repeats the mistake of the pasts.

if you are sure then do it, because it is the best opportunity to buy and sell for a long time ..

Litecoin is not your typical hyped coin. Tha nature of litecoin is such that it's is price is strongly related to the bitcoin ups and down. Litecoin suppose to be silver of crypto currency, but it seem Ethereum has taking it's place now!

are you willing to wait next year or 2? well this litecoin is for long term invest but its up to you, if you invest litecoin you should set the price that you want to sell like if litecoin reach $100 then you sell it. I believe litecoin will pump next year.

Yeah, litecoin has been in that trend for most of the time. There was a time when it pumped up to 0.021 BTC then dropped to 0.009 BTC. I think, litecoin will be at 0.01 BTC from now on. This might be because of these bunch of ICOs offering different tokens/coins. People are shifting from the traditional cryptocurrencies (ETH and LTC) to these newly created coins/tokens, and unless these ICOs will stop, the traditional cryptocurrencies will remain at their low price.

When it comes to long-term investment, litecoin will be a good choice since it has already showed us its potential in the crypto-market. It will only need some time to rise up again. Not now, but maybe, in the coming years, it will reclaim its high value.

I feel that LTC is primarily used at the moment as a cheap and fast way to buy things, such as mining contracts. I don't think anyone has the mindset to hold it, as much as use it, at the moment.
Also, I can't see shops wanting to allow a ton of crypto currencies. They will probably pick one and stick with it.

As i see the btc up lite coin also up. So after btc litecoin is the best.

I think the litecoin is good if you want to invest low amounts currently it have a low price and low transaction fees and it is just like bitcoin.the litecoin haves a good ceo and it became at good price soon(I think)

Litecoin is good for long term. Hold as many as you can it is more stable than any other altcoin there plus it is an upgraded version of bitcoin. So if your bitcoin is not doing good for you, buy litecoin for long term but buy or hold with huge investment. You cannot feel your profit if you buy with low investment.

Mostly now this coins are all pump and dump. Thus investing in this for shirt term should be fine if you make some profit should exit. As in coming year we are not sure how many more coins and new things may come up which would effect this coins and thus market may shrink for such coins.

Are you already watch this coin for a longtime ? If yes , i think you always trade with this coin. And for me Lite coin have a stable movement and this good to play short trade. Anyways what indicator of trading are you using now ?

If you bought many litecoin by the time you posted this one, you are gaining some nice profits now. I think litecoin will increase so much in the near future. Just be patient and buy some more.
