For me I'll buy Bitcoin whenever I have money to do it :)) cause I believe Bitcoin will always be the King of cryptocurrency and its price will keep increasing all the time. Although sometime it'll be dumped a little bit but right after that it'll rise back so we no need to worry about finding the right time to buy or sell Bitcoin cause it's always good time all the time :))

But if you look at the current bitcoin price, it is not possible because bitcoin prices have gone high, if you want to buy lots of bitcoin in 2013 you will likely get a lot of bitcoin, where time is still fairly cheap ..

It is a good decision to make. Don't repeat the mistakes of others. It is already proven and bitcoin will not stop to grow.

It really depend on your strategy. Are you planning to hold it for years, months, weeks or days.if its for  a long term investment then buy now and everytime you have an extra cash available. Do not look at charts until you think you are ready to sell. For months and weeks you can also use to buy and sell when price peak, you need to check prices once in a while.  If you are day trading if i were on your shoes i will not buy now but wait until the fork.

Bitcoin is no longer the time to buy. Bitcoin prices will be lowered after a few days. I hope Bitcoin will be 8000 $ in the year 2018..Always safely investment

No one knows.  It is all guessing short term. The long term trend has been up, so if your time frame isn’t months and you know it involves risk of losing it all, then any time is okay to buy.

if 2018 is like 2017, it'll be around $25,000+

If you look at the historical price chart, you will see that bitcoin had made significant price increase. So why doubt about bitcoin in the future? The price could go as high as $10K next year. So there's no wrong for you investing bitcoin today. I just hope you got it a discounted price earlier when bitcoin falls to $5200.

Bitcoin is going to go to $10,000 in 2018.  I believe that fervently, and I'm going to abandon my hedging strategy of spending bitcoin on meals.   I got some nice gold & silver bullion thanks to this signature campaign,  but the opportunity cost was way too high.  I don't think the bull market is over by any means.  We're going much higher.

You should buy whenever you get the opportunity or the money to do it. I would wait a few more days, though. We're approaching the fork next week, meaning that we might see a big dip in the price and that would be the best moment to buy some coins. I think there's no right or wrong time to get bitcoin. As long as you have the money to invest into it although its best to get it when the price is low so that the margin of your profit is huge. However, you will have to wait again for the price to fall which we can't predict when its gonna happened. So if I where in your position, I will get it now and and look at my investment in the next 6 months. You still need to know that bitcoin is not good for short term but rather good to hold it on over the long term basis. I guess you are it in for the long haul because you are asking for the possible 2018 price. My guesstimate is that it might be around $7000-$10000 around first quarter of next year.

I think you can buy bitcoin in upcoming bitcoin gold hardfork if the bitcoin's price drops again its price like the past bitcoincash hardfork. But try also to invest in new altcoins, there a chance for you to earn there if the price of  those will pump.

I agree with you not to always expect bitcoin in the form of investments because altcoin also seems to be potentially improving after hardfork, and maybe coin alternatives would be a solution if short-term bitcoin investments did not increase significantly.

If you have some cash right now than wait for some correction on bitcoin's price which is quite likely after hardfork on november. Right now many people are buying with high speculation for hardfork so its better to wait for some pull back when network will be splitted on around oct 25.

Bitcoin price can easily go over $10000 by next year so yes current price can be considered as good buy point but its better to wait till fork. If there will be dump in the market than buy some bitcoin with half of your money and buy some at current price with remaining half.

I think its always a wise move to buy bitcoin, however, I don't think that now is actually the right time to buy into bitcoin since the value is a bit higher. Don't forget that the market is so volatile, you can buy at a higher value now, and a few weeks later the value continue dumping and you start loosing on your initial investment.

Although we all know that the value will always recover, but I personally think that is wise to buy at a lower value and sell at a higher value, you might even get more for the amount that you will be willing to spend.

Bitcoin's value increase has many factors attached to it, one of which is a proven major aspect - increase in the user base.
And when newer investors get in daily, why are you worried about the time whether it's right or not? You should not buy on anyone's suggestion but decide on your own because I have seen many people blaming the community members after they see a small dip in the value. Still, I would say just wait till mid-November because the value may plunge back a bit before the rally begins late-November. I saw the chart today and if it is to follow the same pattern like before, then the least it could go would be between 4500-4700 level where you may find it better to purchase your coins.

Based on the results given in the price history of bitcoin, there has been a constant increases on its price over the past few years. Just to give you an example, the price of bitcoins after the ICO prohibition in China was around $4200-$4300. After a couple of weeks, its price skyrocketed up to $5400 and now, it just stays at that mark. There have been rumors about an incoming fork this November, and this may be the perfect opportunity to buy bitcoins since it is inevitable for its price to decrease. But give it 2-3 weeks after the said fork, then the price will once again increase dramatically.

Currently the price is a bit high but it can increase after few more days or weeks so its still good to buy.

I also buy btc recently and i can say i already earned but still i will hold it until next year because i believe the price can reach $7k above so hopefully this really happen.

The good time to buy is when there are situations like hard fork, upgradation of blockchain and altcoins are all time high. Because that's the period when bitcoin is always down to earth and we can catch the fish very cheap. :-) I think that's ideal period because we can just grab huge profits when bitcoin recovers to normal rates and as per experience the price recovery is always high as compared to previous highest peak.

There are just about 20 million wallets. So just by user adoption it can easily increase... if the financial markets get involved then the real explosion can start...

Year ago I couldn't imagine that we will speak about 10.000$ so fast, but here we are on 6.000$ , basically we are past half way to 4 digits price. What bitcoin did this year is much more than anyone here expected, now I'm more optimistic about the price of bitcoin andi think that is reasonable to think that price is heading to 4 digits price, that is a question of time, this or in first quarter of next year if you ask me. How much high can bitcoin price go in 2018 year I don't dare to say, but if we go to 10.000$ mark and stay there that will be a victory for bitcoin.

I don't think this is the right time to buy bitcoins wait for the drop then buy. I'm currently holding bitcoins and buying in drops but if you want to get free bitcoin gold as well then buy bitcoins now but you have to hold it for few months to avoid loss as price will surely fall after the fork on 25 October. They are afraid to take the risk but if you are going to study bitcoin price charts, Year to Year it has reach more than 500% increased. So logically, it makes them to really put your cash to the market and then just sit and hodl on your wallet and come back next year revisit it and I'm sure that your investment has already doubled by that time, However, there are still people who doubts bitcoin capability to increase and recoup when there is a price crash. I think the range of $ 8000-9000 could be higher but it also depends on how hardford the end of the year if people believe in it then why it does not reach the $ 10,000 price everyone expects It would be a better price than the previous year but it could also fall in the $ 4000-500 range which is probably due to the fact that coin types such as eth and dash are growing quite strong recently.

Probably there's a possibility that before end of 2018 bitcoin value were reach $8000-$9000, however we can't sure if the price runs on that value. My guess on 2018 the price of bitcoin will be this.

For the first quarter the price can be $8,000 - $8,500 while in the it's near for the second quarter there will be a quick pump.

Second quarter will be good at $9,000 so mostly it will increase $1,000 per quarter.

$10,000 will be cross at the end of 2017 mean that the price of bitcoin will reach to 21000 USD because look at the market and investors they are willing to invest into bitcoin because they know that bitcoin having future and there investment will become more than double. No one can give the correct answer on what will be the price of bitcoin on 2018 and even this year of 2017 there's no prediction that is accurate but it's happening. We were thinking that 2016 is the best year of bitcoin but i think 2017 broke all types of records and now are expecting that 2018 will be even more better than 2017. We are hoping that in 2018, the price of bitcoin will easily cross 10000$ and after that it will even continue increasing, because we are expecting that in 2018 even people will continue increasing.

At this moment we can say that normal levels are higher than that of me, according to me, 2018 can reach a higher level. But this is exactly what will happen after forking.

Yes, it is quite hard to tell what the price will be by next year since we will be experiencing some forks before the end of the year. A few months ago, I did not expect the price to be as high as it is right now. So it is possible to be even higher by next year; some say it may reach $10000 already. The popularity of bitcoin has drastically increased. Just by December, I expect there to be a price increase for about to $7000 I guess. Well, if the value goes down for unknown reasons, but chances are they will go up and recovered quickly because the people around bitcoin like us will never let it go down because I'm sure that we always want to buy it specially in dip. And there's always a equal buyer for every seller in the market. So in 2018, I predict that the price is above 6k$ easily.
