Come check out Oyster.  Their signature campaign ended but I am keeping the signature for a bit longer because it is a really interesting idea and one I want to see succeed.  The developers are genuinely committed to this project and have made significant progress.  If their innovative technology takes off this could be one of those 'black swan event' coins which not only explode but lead to new paradigm with a new norm.

I do not recommend you to invest into Dogecoin because of the unchanged Dogecoin price. Dogecoin is just jokes coin or memecoin and should not be taken seriously. You can invest, but you can not expect much with Dogecoin. Maybe in the future the price of the Dogecoin will rise, but the rise is only a little that is 1 or 2 dollars only.

In my opinion, to answer the OP question is very easy. You just look at whattomine.com. That's some of the coins we should invest and not the new coins coming from the new ICO. Just invest into something that is certain and do not play around. Because if you invest, what you sacrifice is not just money but time. You need a lot of time, a few years.

We are talking here only about altcoins, not about ICO's  I heard today, that somebody invested 200k in Viacoin, which in my opinion is just a shitcoin. You will never understand the mindset of crypto investors.

Well mate, i would just suggest you to invest in ethereum, it is the best altcoin that is on the market right now because everybody has a lot of trust in this coin, just because it is one of the best altcoins, and it has a lot of support from all bitcoin communities.
Monero is a good option too, but i dont know.. Just dont invest in random altcoins, they are dropping a lot and it seems that they are not going to have a great future, because bitcoin is rising a lot.

As of the moment, I would recommend Waves. You can take a look at it and see if their whitepaper will get you interested to them. Its price right now became quite cheap because of people selling to get their BTC (maybe due to the upcoming fork) but don't get fooled by its current price. The team has great technology and the founder of it is quite busy going around the globe to spread the word about this coin. Take a look at it if you have time.

I would just suggest you to invest in Ethereum and Waves also Etbs,kick,OMG,TFL etc. i think it is the best altcoin that is on the trading market. i like it and also everyone has a lot of trust in this coin.
So i think it's preferable in trading for us and it's have a great future.

for me dash and doge coin are much profitable, trading with doge if you prefer to trading with small value and also this alt is safe enough for minimum loss.

I suggest you to invest in Waves and Stratis. Both are under evaluated this year and we all wait for them to moon next year.

Best altcoins to invest in are privacy related ones that are quicker than the BTC network in confirming transactions. Other than that I don't recommend investing in altcoins at all as much more is to be made simply buy buying and holding BTC for the long term. I guess it's hard when you don't have much to hold so you risk trying to win big, but all those losses could've added up.

Are you guys aware of potcoin? It has been endorsed by Dennis Rodman, I just saw it through a documentary on youtube when he was about to go to North Korea.  This is next to my list and the best alt coins in my choice to invest for now are DGB, ETH, SIA and Monero. I still got some on the list but for now these are the best alt coins for me, there are undervalued and overvalued coins.

Ethereum should be #1 in everyone's list! And then we have some great coins like Adex and OmiseGO. Stay away from low market cap pump and dump coins, it will only hurt your portfolio in the long run.

If you are looking for the best Altcoin that has high prospect and also good security to be an investment then Etherum and waves can be a good choice. now it is not a lot of Altcoin who have good prospects, but these two coins I think have given confidence to us that invest here will not cause disappointment. If we look at the future then we will all understand how the deveopment of both coins is very attractive and the ever-stable price increase makes it a plus.

this one is good to invest , etherium is the number one also in my investments of altcoins. I also invest in stormtoken , that is what i am joining now. There are many altcoins that are good to invest in the markets , but make it sure to invest in altcoins that has a big potential in the future to rise.

If you want something more safe to invest then I would recommend Ethereum or IOTA since they are already pretty established, well known and supported by big companies. But my personal best altcoin is DeepOnion which has huge potential to grow, a really great dev team and already a strong community behind it. I would definitely say that the safest bet in terms of altcoins right now is ethereum. Don't see this coin going anywhere but up in the near future. It's a coin I plan on keeping safely in my wallet regardless of daily fluctuations.

right now there are 2 great projects wich you can invest with safety in my opinion. First is the Hdac and second is TokenPay. Both with big potentials.

With your CPU? I'm not aware we still can do it without a powerful Graphic CARDS. I still have kept few Monero just in case it could go more than $1k, I'm still not going to be left behind in one day I would need to make transactions using such coin.

As of now, the best altcoin in my opinion is the electroneum and this is because of how people and its price value reacts. Lately, bounty payments and investors are given and they usually dump their ETN which makes the value drop but within a day, its price came back and increased even more. For me the best altcoins now to put your money in would be the likes of ethereum, NEO, monero. These coins have really good products so you can be sure that people will be using it for years to come. As long as people keep investing in the coins, then the value of the coins will keep increasing.

I am thinking of copper et, in the future it will grow and the price goes up even further.

The best for me would be monero and ethereum.
