INTRODUCTION
On Coins Victory you can bet and win bitcoins by challenging your friends to some games.

GAMES
Only past/arcade games, such as pacman, tetris, snake and chess. No poker, no roulette, no lottery, no casino games.
We are working on a total of 8 epic games.

COMPETITIONS
You can challenge your friends (1 vs 1) by selecting game and bet. Who gets the high score wins the pot.
Ex: Tom wants to play Tetris and bet 1000 BTC against Jerry. Tom scores 100,000 point, Jerry scores 120,000 points. Jerry wins and gets Tom's bitcoins.
Winnings are automatically sent at the end of each competition.

Browse the game history to find out games played, most played game, average bet and victory %.

TRUSTED TEAM
You can play only against users inside your trusted team. You cannot play against unknown users.
You are completely free to manage your friends by adding or removing them.

ACCOUNT
You only need to provide us username, password, email, personal pin (*), date of birth (**) and your default bitcoin address for winnings.
(*) you need to use your personal pin to start a new competition, add/remove a friend of your trusted team and edit your account details. You will type your personal pin on a virtual keyboard. Even if someone stole your password your account is safe.
(**) if you are a minor you cannot create an account

AVATAR
Create and customize a vector-graphic avatar by selecting hair, eyes, skin, mouth, eyebrows, beard, hands, shirts, pant, shoes and many other accessories.
Submit you avatar to the "avatar contest", collect votes and win some extra bitcoins.

REFERRAL PROGRAM
Spread the world with your referral url and/or our banners and earn 50% net of the house edge, forever.
There are no limits at all.

HOUSE EDGE
4% on withdrawals: 2% for the referral program, 2% for us.

SECURITY
Coins Victory uses SSL.
We look at game statistics and results in order to discover unfair users and ban them forever.
We also provide full details of all the game transactions through the bitcoin blockchain.

Why am I starting this thread?
This project is still under construction, but I'd be happy to hear questions, opinions, critics and suggestions.

But it would be nice for people who want to join the website on his own to get +1% if he has no referral link.

There are some details that I still have to define, however I think that is unfair if without referral the house edge increases from 2% to 3%, so I'am thinking to create a "charity bitcoin address" that will automatically receive all earnings.

With referral link: 2% for us and 1% for referral user
Without referral link: 2% for us and 1% sent to the charity address

...and I will use the charity address to donate funds to some no profit organizations (in particular bitcoin-related).
Obviously there will be a page that shows:
- total number of users without referral link
- total games played
- total earnings
- donations sent

Very cool/refreshing idea, if done correctly this could be pretty big. I see a few issues though, if I wanted to vs a friend at chess etc I could just play a game vs them on another site without house edge and loser would send over the BTC. That being said I suggest adding an original game. Also something to be wary of is people using bots to gain an unfair advantage.

For action games such as PacMan, Snake, etc, how do you intend to verify the legitimacy of submitted scores?

You can only play against verified friends, so would cheat your friends who you would then beat up IRL.

I know that people can play these kind of games in a lot of sites, and It's for this reason that I'm building a gaming community with some social features: trusted team, personal avatar, game history and I'm working on private messaging and chat. I want to offer something more than the usual bitcoin betting site.

This. With the "trusted team system" a cheater steals money to his friends.
If you invite some friends and build a trusted team to play with, your trust moves from games to your opponents. Play only with your trusted friends and you will never have any problem ;)

We also look at gameplay and game statistics: if we find something strange we will contact the user and wait for his explanations.
Remember that all your friends will be notified if you steal money to another friend: this is not good for your reputation :D

This is still an open issue, however I think that the min. allowed bet will always be the bitcoin equivalent of 0.1$.

My first though was - It would be nice to be able to play against "non-friends" cause none of my friends use btc, or even play chess good enough. And my next thought would be - "hey, I could even use some bot to play instead of me!"

Although it would be fair if both people use bots :) battle of the bots, who has more resources available for his bot's solving?

Well I hope this site will be a good way to convince someone to try Bitcoin... something like "Hey we could bet some money on a Tetris challenge, like the old days!"  ;D
...and for me isn't a problem if two friends want to bet on "Who built the best bot?", just do not use bots with users who do not agree!

For the love of god, I need this haha. I don't have enough fun places to watch my bitcoins go down the drain, and this would definately be one of them.

The developer says that it will be ready in three/four weeks. However I will take at least one week to try it out (with some users of this forum) and find/correct bugs if there are.


It depends on how much skilled you are in vintage games, maybe you will win a lot and recover all losses generated in other sites ;D

It's very exciting even for me because I did not think to receive all this positive interest  :)
For this reason I decided that I'll never advertise Coins Victory in any way outside of this forum, to not steal potential profits to the referral program.

If this interest is true, Coins Victory will not need huge marketing investments, but only users to spread the world with their referral url and obtain a profit!

I'm thinking that I could increase the house edge from 3% to 4%.
This would mean a 50% net referral program with more profits for users (2% for us, 2% for referral users).

4% is too much or the 50% referral program is a good idea?

4% for a site that is so different and more of a competition is not unheard of.

Finally the domain coinsvictory.com is ready.
I've also bought some other extensions: biz, net, org, it, and so on. The goal is to prevent phishing and let users play without worries.

I also find the idea of not being able to play against other users a bit odd... I do not know anybody who will join the site.... and i do not understand the 4% house edge... how does it work?

I know that it seems odd but it's a security measure to prevent users to challenge "strangers" with bot or scripts. It quite impossible to beat these bots: you improve your technology and they beat it in a short time, trust me. 
So the only way to play safe, is to play against trusted friends. Would you steal money to a friend?
In this way we will have less players and less profits, but much more security, that is the most important thing on a site like this.

Regarding the house edge, we hold 4% of all winnings:
- 2% is for the site, it is our net profit
- 2% is for the referral program. If there is no referral user this 2% is used for charity purposes.

This is honestly really neat, the fact that you'll have pacman to play means I can finally play some games that were the first of its kind many years ago. The few times I've played it its been fun, now I'll be able to play anytime haha  :D my username will be kingofsports, if I'm not elgible though I understand, this does look really cool and I'll be certain to play it sometimes in my free time!

I like everything BUT "You can play only against users inside your trusted team".  I am the only person I know in my area that uses BTC.  I wish it was just a lobby and you join random games.  I think you will not get near a wide an audience with out having a lobby or auto match feature.

CV.com could be a good way to convince someone to join Bitcoin, or you can find new friends here in the beautiful bitcoin community :)

I agree that it's a great way to introduce people to bitcoin, but I also want to be able to play random people because I don't know many people who use bitcoins. Is there a way to somehow filter the bots by having everyone enter some sort of annoying captcha prior to playing the game?

I think that competing online in a p2p environment for some sort of real life value (aka btc) is what I've been waiting for my entire life. I would like to see some sort of bitcoin betting incorporated into games like www.typeracer.com as well. If anyone could build something like that, I'm guessing it's easy and they'd probably make some good money.

We are testing some security functions, including captcha, but the main problem is that in games like tetris or pacman a bot could be activated even in the middle of the game, so unfortunately captcha is unuseful  :(

However we have a lot of work to do, and of course our main goal is to provide an auto match that will let you to play against unknown users, but we also have to deal with security, and if we don't find a 100% secure solution CV.com will only have trusted teams.

Any estimated date on this? Can't seem to find any info on the website. Like a week from now? A month? 3 months?

I'm planning to let users invest on Coins Victory.
Something like "buy a share and get a profit". How can I do that? I need suggestions and ideas :)

I'm a huge Tetris nerd, so I'm curious: is this going to be old-school Tetris (eg. like NES Tetris) or a more modern version (eg. like TetrisFriends (http://tetrisfriends.com))?

Also, I'd recommend you have a few different modes of Tetris. Sprint (clear 40 lines as fast as you can) and Ultra (get as many points in a certain time limit) would be a good start.

In the initial fase I'll not spend a lot of time on game design, I will focus on functionality and gameplay, in particular in challenges and money transactions. Games will have a standard design. If everything goes fine, I'll start to edit the game design, and I'll prefer old-school.

Same for tetris modes: we'll start only with Sprint, and then add all others modes.

Is it possible to create tournaments? An example, 10 players, PacMan, 0.001 buy-in, they have to sign-up under my referral link or not, if my referral I'll give an extra 0.01 to the winner.

I don't get this... so, you're charging a 3%  fee to play games that people can play for free on other sites? Why would people play the game here instead of somewhere else?

It's a community, with avatars, referral program, tournaments, trusted friends, bitcoins, bets, avatar contests and so on.

I'm working on two Bitcoin-related projects now, not sure if CoinsVictory will be online before / after the holiday season, we are improving the server security while facing some side issues, we'll see!

REALLY cool idea! I was just contemplating adding Tetris to Gambit.com as well. Have a long list of games to add, have 7 so far..3 nearly released. Any votes amongst the following which games you guys (bitcoin community) would like to see next? Here are my ideas, and it generally takes us about 1 month per game:

- Billiards
- Tetris
- Cribbage
- Blokus

Risk is nearly done as well as yatzy and dominoes. I already have bitnopoly, backgammon, battleship, rock paper scissors, dots & boxes, penta, and capture.

Can't wait to see coinsvictory! I've subscribed. and trust me..i know how hard it is to build these sites...so best of luck with it.
