Binary.com ICO will be done differently than most ICOs out there. We are using an "IPO on the blockchain" concept. This means our tokens will be subjected to regulations and best practices designed to protect investors. It is also linked with dividends payment! (just like an IPO, but in the blockchain).

The token price will be determined through Dutch Auction where you may bid from $1.35/tokens (or equivalent value to other currencies/cryptocurrencies) with a minimum bid of 25 tokens.

Will the ERC tokens convertible to tradable instrument??

Yes. The ERC20 tokens will be tradable once it's listed to our appointed listing exchange. In this case it's gonna be Lykke Exchange. The listing date is not confirmed yet. But it will be some time after the ICO ends :)

We called it "IPO on the Blockhain" :) it is more like stocks offering but in crypto world.... We thought it's time to issue meaningful tokens which subjected to regulations and best practices designed to protect investors. It may be a new thing, but we hope it can be a landmark event in the ICO space :)

   

please get informed before saying too much, ... IPO's started in the 2011 or even sooner for some and they were the ICO of today ... they lasted untill around the start of 2015! so what your doing is absolutely nothing new! as a matter of fact its very old news!

Binary.com ICO will be done through Dutch Auction concept. The final token price will be determined by the end of the auction. During the offering period, investors may start bid at USD 1.35 per token with a minimum of 25 tokens, and a higher bid price may secure a slot in the auction. This Dutch Auction concept is quiet common in public securities offering (like IPO) :)

Is this decentralized using smart contracts and escrow wallets like Spectre? Because if its not than its just another crappy Binary Options platform where the brokers screw everyone over and hold your withdrawals.

Decentralised systems might be something we will work on in future, however please notes that our entire quote database is already publicly available through an API, and we rely on good quality feeds from multiple providers.

Finally a project with history to it. Good to see people still use binary options as they are easy to understand and get profit off such investment.

Did you manage to collect any funds? Binary options is an empty niche around after the fall of Secondtrade
But without any decent public information and with the Dutch token auction I will not invest in.

The auction has ended. As the minimum target was not reached, all investors will receive a refund on their active bids. When can we expect the refund? I placed a withdrawal order and on their site i get the following information : Each transaction will be confirmed once we receive three confirmations from the blockchain.

It is now 2 days later but i'm still waiting for the three confirmations to receive refund ?

How will this project be successful? What is the purpose of this project? Do you think this project attracts people when there are no bonuses? I do not think like you, most of the investors are involved in projects that receive bonus payments. I think you should change your mind
