Title: Should I trade my BTC for BCH?
Post by: samwolf on November 10, 2017, 08:50:37 PM
Hi,

I'm new here. Bought in to bitcoin at £5100, sold at £6050, then bought back in at £5400, but it seems to be dropping.

Should I trade all my BTC for BCH on the short term or is it too late to get in to BCH?

BCT seems to be losing me money by the minute.

Thanks.

Don't get me wrong, I've not got huge volumes, only 2BTC worth.

But it just seems to be going right down.

But BCH is now at nearly $1000, is it just investors that are all going to sell once it hit's $1000 and buy back in to BTC?

Just don't know what to do, since posting, BTC has dropped a further £90.

As you can tell, I'm very new to this!

Will BCH hit $2000? Or will it crash back down to the $500 mark next week?

Bitcoin has collapsed many times during last month, but always recovered after a while.
Bitcoin is a venerable money which is already 8 years old.

BCH may have a future but you need to give it more time to trust it.

Be patient, time will help you.

It seems to be rising again.

Fingers crossed.

Wish I'd waited to buy back in at less than £5k.

I'm like a nervous wreck!

What you're observing is an arbitrary pattern.

If you decide to sell some or all of your BTC in exchange for BCH, it will be based on the (unjust and late) assumption that this current trend will continue to occur.  If true, this will only be the case due to other people having the same poor logic as you.

Furthermore, Bitcoin Cash has had a higher BTC price before, even topping 0.2 BTC at some points.

Pay less attention to the charts and more attention to your brain.

Be patient and have faith. Short term investment is good if you really want to but for long term, don't do that. Bitcoin will stay at the top and will never be replaced. It's value will soon go higher just wait. Bitcoin is really the future. We don't really know what will happen to BCH but BTC has much more stable foundation. Many backers and investors. So don't lose faith. Choose what you think is right.

I am worried about this usual tendency in many traders to react emotionally as soon as they see an abnormal movement of the markets. That's why it's always recommended to have a long-term plan to manage your investments without the pressure of the sudden swings that are frequently observed in the markets. If you are convinced of the inherent value of bitcoin, you should keep it in spite of the fact that there is now an important movement in Bitcoin Cash.

Like it really matters on what you're trying to do with the Bitcoin that you currently have, are you trying to make some quick money and risk some of it to make some more money? Then yes, this may be the move at the moment to try to make a couple bucks off the spike in BCC.

I don't see a reason for the spike, so it could be some of people just pushing this hype to make some good money.

But if you're up to risking it then I'd say go for it, matters how much risk you want to expose yourself too.

You're looking at short term trading pattern and getting nervous.  I was thinking same about switching some, but digging through Cryptomarketcap I noticed there's near $3bn (yep) of Bitcoin Cash traded on the Korean exchanges.  For sure Bitcoin has been been selling off too, but most the Bitcoin Cash rise is new Korean cash flooding in.

When it comes to trading, for you to succeed. You must learn how to keep your emotions at the door. Do not let your emotions to guide you will you trade. At this point the price of bitcoin is dropping this weekend but with the little understanding I have gotten have make me to know that most weekend the the price of bitcoin do drop.

Indeed, the price went down a lot of traders sold their bitcoins, to save the loses, but if you are looking for a long term investment my advice to keep the coins or invest BCH

i kinda wanna laugh because yes it has hit .200 but the price of btc at the time was so much lower just because its at 0.07xx bhc is at a all time high, basically your not giving him all the info he needs to make a clear decision on the topic

BTC seems in some kind of trouble within its dev team, and the postphone of 2x forking has angered some. That is why BCH is booming in my opinion.

I don't think you would have a lot to oss if you spread your eggs in two basket.

Coinbaese, the largest exchange of BTC has promised to add BCH next year. I think there will be a surge in BCH price b4 it happens.

anyway bet what you could afford to loss, then you will be calmer.

Newbies always find grass greener on other side of the hill.

But it is not the truth sometimes.

Buy the dip, sell it high. That is one of the best advise given by the investors. In BCH situation and the price is pumping up by those big whales. sooner or later, BCH price will drop down just like what happen when it reaches $900 then drop to $300. I would suggest that you should always set goals when to sell and when to buy back a bitcoin or invest to other altcoins. You will definitely regret buying BCH when the price is going up. You should follow cointelegraph news. They have technical analysis for BTC, BCH, RIPPLE, ETH and LITECOIN.

In my opinion both coins are really good. If possible buy and keep some BCH also with you. In long run, you will get profit from it. Since the segwit got cancelled, people will now invest in BCH.  BCH has got many advantages when you compare it with bitcoin and the main advantage is its less transaction fees and easy confirmation. Anyway its upto you to choose which coin to invest because both have hugh potential.

Should I trade all my BTC for BCH on the short term or is it too late to get in to BCH?

BCT seems to be losing me money by the minute.

Thanks.

Though BCH is a promising crypto out from BTC's DNA, i don't think i will trade my BTC to BCH. Just hold it man and wait for it to sell it on a higher price. Bitcoin's value is very volatile and yes, you may lose some of your money every minute but wait for it till it rises up again. Unexpectedly, its market value will rise again like crazy.

What we are going through right now is the correction already. This will continue even lower in the next several hours and days most probably but there will also be some little upward movement along the way. There is nothing to worry though because such movements and corrections and retracements are very normal in the charts of Bitcoin and any coin for that matter. But if you consider shifting to BCH better you can also go for it.

Entering in BCH is not recommended as it has gone very high and now anything can happen so it is better to stick with BTC as within some days the price will jump up back after this correction is over.

To me it seems too late now to switch positions.

These things need to be anticipated well beforehand and acted on very quickly. A day or so later is way too late.

If you would have jumped in when you wrote this, you could have caught some guaranteed profit. as I type this its a bit late; there may be some additional uptrend or volatility but I wouldnt suggest it personally (im not a big risk hound, I dont like gambling). before you do invest however, consider a few points. why is the price increasing so much, and why now? i will posit that people may be using bch as a safe haven given all the uncertainty around the fork situation. but would it justify this price increase, give how widely distributed it already is. tldr: why are people so interested in it all of a sudden. also consider; why so much gain? is it legit that there is so much demand for bch right now that the price should have gone up this much?

if you cant answer all that, then mayhap you should reconsider your purchase ;)

Bitcoin Cash is getting some volume right now because of the cancelled fork. If you were able to buy after asking here then you are already in profit but if not then know first the reason why it is going up because maybe some people are just hyping it to get out later and you will just be dumped. Bitcoin is having a correction right now and many are expecting it. It may take a few days for it to go up again and people are shifting some of their bitcoin to bitcoin cash because for now, its trend is opposite that of the bitcoin. Volatility is not new in the cryptocurrency market so you should always plan your trade for you not to be burned.

look at the relative picture, bitcoin had rose to $7.5k in just matter of few days, now obviously it is going to fall maybe set a floor this happens always after a huge spike. On other hand BCH is still the same, a little increase and drops, it's looking promising but it would be foolish to give up on bitcoin just because of a minor fall.

Of what happen to bitcoin price at this time, it is not a basis that we surely decide in shifting our btc into bch. It is better if we take an observation of what happen to btc in few weeks more. If it is still falling, then it could be the time to switch into bch. But I really don't think that it would be happen since bitcoin is really gaining and it is proved in many years since from its existence.

I've bee given info that this is another huge shift, and in the short term BCH is a good idea.
And I have been given info that, this is another imaginary huge shift, in short buy activity tokens because soon they will skyrocket, I swear my info giver is legit, she told me while in her weakest moments, I was promising to jump diagonally then vertically.
If you do trade your Bitcoins for BCH then you gave them what they wanted, you should know that all the BTC holders could convert to BCH and make it the top crypto, but who is behind BCH? one of the largest mining farms, they are mining with ASICboost, they are selling used miners to people.
They lowered the difficulty and increased block size. you'll feel the centralization and will lose BCH to Chinese completely by 2022, Chinese have advantage over BCH mining, they are running the show, I want to know who would they blame if something goes wrong when there is no Core devs?

For now if miners could grow a pair of balls to mine blocks larger than 1MB and fix it at 2 we might see another shift back to BTC.

A lot of money is flowing in to BCH right now. But be cautious. We are still not sure about the future of the SegWit2x fork. Even now there is a chance that some sort of compromise may arise and the necessary support for implementing the fork may be gathered. I am saying this because with the 1 MB block size limit, Bitcoin will not survive for long. Sooner or later, there is going to be a solution.

Trading btc for bch seems good few days back. Now the price has grown reaching a value around $1000. We don't have the assurance that bitcoin cash will continue to stay high or proceed to increase. With bitcoin the growth is promising, so it's good to keep bitcoin as it is or it's good to wait for a little.

I think it will be an impulsive and stupid decision to to trade BTC for BCH . Bitcoin price raise and falls on daily basis but still remains to stay as the highest value coin .  Bitcoin cash is a new coin , and trusting it over bitcoin is a foolish decision . Few days back when bitcoin was at $7k , all other altcoins were at zero value . If that scenario occurs again what will you do then ?

BCH is a temporary profitable path to my comparison with bitcoin.

I accept BITCOIN has collapsed many a times but it kept recovering and it is a constant crypto currency from 8 years which had a stable foundation.

Bitcoin investment is a safer and secured market reason you can analyse the price increaseing and the demand for Bitcoin keep growing with no fall. So I strongly recommend to go with BITCOIN.

The price of bitcoin dropping down and increasing again has always been a trend so I really don't think that you should be worried. Bitcoin has always proved to bounce back and even reach new heights at times. Just continue holding your bitcoins and you'll be able to recover your losses and as for BCH you really need to be patient for it and there is far more huge risk on investing to bitcoin cash compared to BTC.

Bitcoin is going to recover soon it would be foolish to trade it for bitcoinash. I mean bitcoincash is good its at $1100 already, but you can invest in both of these coins instead of trading it with btc.

Most of my friends had recieved bitcoincash because they had a lot of bitcoin in the past so they recieved free bch. I had not a lot bitcoin then so i did get nothing. I am so jealous :(

I'm new here. Bought in to bitcoin at £5100, sold at £6050, then bought back in at £5400, but it seems to be dropping.

Should I trade all my BTC for BCH on the short term or is it too late to get in to BCH?

BCT seems to be losing me money by the minute.

Thanks.
Right now entering BCH is a bad idea. Bitmain is nicely controlling the BCH market. They are the major BTC hodlers, then can anytime pump BCH and dump it hard to get back in BTC. This can happen anytime soon. Right now BCH is FOMOing. It is gonna dump soon. If you are hodler, take your profit and exit. Whales gonna dump it hard on everyone.

Even I thought of exchanging my btc for bch when I saw the price has doubled within 2 days. I even bought some bch and waited for some time for it to increase in price but it further went down. I thought i had bought at the peak and so I sold them not at much loss.
Now I see that the price has spiked up to 0.0177 btc and it gave me goosebumps. I should have waited more and I would have made good profit.
But I do believe that the pump is for a short term and it will depreciate and Bitcoin will increase in price after the correction.

This is my personal opinion, not an investment advice.

I think it's temporarily before the fork on Nov 13th. It gained 200% in the last two days (https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin-cash/), how much higher can it go before it drops again?

this is think is another trick by those 6 people who thought of controlling the flow. i say invest to BCH but after few days dump it. the price may reach up to $2500 but its just an attempt to make you guys believe they really are shifting. bare in mind that there were no businesses as far as i know that accepts BCH yet.

Anyone interested in moving to BCH should do so but don't come back complaining about the cabal, the money bags are the ones manipulating the price so as to make excess profit by driving the price of bitcoin lower and the price of BCH higher because you have the mind to choose and see between the lines but because you are too scared to loose, you then lose more.

For me, I would rather stick with a coin that have stand the test of time for over 7 years to get to what it is today than to put it on a coin that have that is riding on the glory of another without any basis to meet up to 25% of the latter in less that 5  months. Stability should be the answer here.

It could work out if you do it short term. It must be an effect of the segwit2x being postponed so investors are now jumping to BCH. Think smart and take the risk :D
agree if you are a good trader then you are free to do , but expect that your gonna pull out again your coins and trade it with bitcoin again , so why bother if you will just gain maybe a small profit ? much better if you stay in bitcoin and hold it for long term and you will see a nice profit in the end.

In my opinion, you should sell your bitcoins right now. That cancelled segwit2x makes the bitcoin price dropped so hard right now and it keep going down right now. If I were you I will sell my bitcoins and buy BCH, BCH price keep increasing in the last 3 days but anything can happen though.

I'm watching the BCH going up on Kraken, and I really don't understand those who dare. Kraken is broken as hell, it takes like 5min to manage to place an order, and it has no stop loss order anymore.
Some are still buying at 1000, when it dive to 500 or less, they will have NO CHANCE to place their sell orders.

Otherwise if I was on a good exchange, I would have given a try, coupled with stop loss orders.

have dumped my "free" bch and bought back into btc...out of principle.

who is to say at some stage, now that most of the segwit2x free bitcoiners have pulled their shares and dumped their btc, that they do come to consensus on it and implement it at short notice???

will there be a huge surge?

i feel something needs to be done when vendors are dumping btc as the preferred cyrpto for other faster trans cryptos. they cant let it and its supporters deal with the slow trans, something will be done and i think before the year is out we will see something quite major.

imagine...

interesting to see if the 30% of rogue miners do pull anything as the 15th-16th draws near.

i am in for the long-haul..since 19th December 2013

Yes i think you have to trade your btc into bch.because btc pump to much and it will more pump till the fork of bch.but it's also risky beacause also chances of dumb.so i suggests you to trade only half of your btc into bch beacause bch is  still more stable like btc.And i think btc price will decrease due to cancellation of fork.so it's better to invet into bch.

There is no one who will tell you exactly what will happen here. That is why you should not panic - when in doubt while crypto market is crumbling one is certain:
this is the best moment to buy BTC, I am not sure about BCH at all as this is something new but with hindsight, I know that there is no need to worry about BTC.
Bitcoin has gone through a lot a current bearish market is nothing to worry about. Just HODL.

If you would ask me if I should trade bitcoin for BCH, I am worried about this usual tendency in many traders to react emotionally as soon as they see an abnormal movement of the markets. That's why it's always recommended to have a long-term plan to manage your investments without the pressure of the sudden swings that are frequently observed in the markets. If you are convinced of the inherent value of bitcoin, you should keep it in spite of the fact that there is now an important movement in Bitcoin Cash. I think it is really crucial.

trading bitcoin into bitcoin cash for investment rightnow is very unwise, despite bitcoin price now recently has dropped very quick, i think we should not do that because in the future, bitcoin will rise back again and bitcoin cash will drop soon, moreover bitcoin has been a good coin for us to invest in longterm so  it is trust worthy than bitcoin cash.

It's really the basics of market reading. Don't follow the crowd because the more enthusiastic they are about something the more fearful they'll be when the correction comes. They are buying without thinking and you can see that by the amount of money that went into it. There's still no merchants, no acceptance, just pure pump slogans. "it will be the new Bitcoin by May" :D Sure...

Yes because it is pumping now it will hit for a long time then it will be dumped again and bitcoin will be stable that's the time to trade your bch to btc. That is how the market works some coins are dumping and you need to trade it with other coins that are pumping. I hope you will get my point. Pardon my english.

It's still falling and BCH is still rising.

I'm getting worried.

And this is how newbies usually lose money on the market. They see one coin going up and another down, read some forum trolls like the ones screaming "BCH is the new BTC" and make all the wrong assumptions. Don't get worried and have some confidence. Worst thing you can do is act on emotions. Analyse the situation before you do anything.

Bch market is growing rapidly I will say it is good the switch the market and did we have the time, do not leave the Bitcoin market as well just take a small part in the new market so you can have an opportunity where you can decide which market to choose on a certain situation. It's also possible that Bitcoin can cut wrist and it can rise among$5,000 more but let's see if we but ola money in bch then it can rise like 2 to 3x.

That would be an error. I recognize that Bch is increasing in price fast enough but I also think that this is due to Btc price drop lately. We all know that when Btc drops some well known altcoins see some increase in their price which make people believe that this must be the next big thing. It isn't as Btc will be in the top for a long time and for me it will be forever. Bch is good for trading as I see a lot of volatility in its price and this maybe a good option for trading but I think it is too early for holding.

It is a good idea to buy BCH now, take a look at the charts, really impressive how the price is increasing. But no one can guarantee if BCH will keep this price for long time or it will drop down again, so it will be wise to buy and sell as fast as you can. Maybe someone can explain what is going on with BCH and BTC prices.

I don't know if it's too late to get into BCH now. But right now BCH is at its all time high, so it would have been profitable to buy earlier. I also think it's not the case to worry about BTC dump because it is a normal correction and it's nothing new in Bitcoinhistory since it has always been very volatile.

Well i wouldn't give an advice to go all in but we all in this to make profit.
We lose some then we gain some.
But at the end it all boils down to if your mind actually bear the loss if it can then you are good to go.
But if it can't just go in for a small amount then a make either a little loss or a little profit.
But BCH is on a rise right now so am guessing it would the latter 😊

I agree, just because bitcoin had a slight bump it does not mean that you should immedialtly switch to btch cash, this increase in its price is only due the fact that devs have encouregded miners to mine btc cash in order to secure its network and this rise probably won't last that long, and soon after it the bitcoin will come back, so exchanging bitcoin to btc cash is unwise, poeple need to keep in mind that btc cash is just another cryptocurrency and nothing more, and btc will always stay the king of them all no matter what happens.

Yes, It drop a lot, I think from 7500$ to 6400$, It's around 1k$, So if someone have around 10 btc, he will lose around 10k$ after this drop of price, It's a lot of money, but i advise them to do not panic and sell the bitcoin, because it will increase soon, and achieve the 8000$ in few weeks later, maybe before the end of this year.

I do not think you should change your Bitcoin to another form of cryptocurrency. That's because Bitcoin is currently the number one cryptocurrency and nothing better than Bitcoin. The Bitcoin price always rises and is higher than any other cryptocurrency. In addition, Bitcoin price development is also the fastest and many people have become rich because of Bitcoin. Investing into Bitcoin is definitely profitable, while other cryptocurrency investments may not necessarily succeed including those you mentioned.

So you better choose the investment that is certain and do not try new things that are not certain. That's just my opinion.

It's your choice sir if you want to invest your bitcoin to bitcoincash. Because bitcoin for sure will incrrase again after few days and maybe once bitcoin increase again bitcoincash will decrease again. I believe bitcoin is good than bitcoincash. But it's better if you have both this coin.

I will choose bitcoin over bch everytime. I do not care if bch is pumping hard. But it is all up to you, if you see profit in getting some bch now, you should grab it. It is not everyday that you can profit from bch. It may suddenly dump again like before.

I've bee given info that this is another huge shift, and in the short term BCH is a good idea.

I don't think this is a good idea. This is just BCH propaganda, and if people just keep selling bitcoin for bcash, they they will win this one, and we don't really want that. Mining bcash is not profitable, most of the times, miners do it and lose money, even with the adjusted difficulty. So eventually Roger Ver will run out of bitcoins to swap, and wont be able to do any more harm to bitcoin. Don't forget that futures trading will be possible at the end of the year, and a lot of money will come into bitcoin, not bcash.

If you really want to sell bitcoin, because it's price will probably drop a little more, don't swap it to bcash, otherwise you might help this "attack".

For now, you should hold Bitcoin. Because the price of Bitcoin Cash is too high to buy, but I do not forbid if you want to buy it. Can be seen within 2 days, BCH up to 0.2 BTC. However, it should be aware that BCH can go down drastically as well.
BTC> Long Term
BCH> Short Term

Hi,

I'm new here. Bought in to bitcoin at £5100, sold at £6050, then bought back in at £5400, but it seems to be dropping.

Should I trade all my BTC for BCH on the short term or is it too late to get in to BCH?

BCT seems to be losing me money by the minute.

Thanks.

No, i will still hold it. I am not confident in investing with bitcoin cash.

This is not "just a dip" for BTC. There are BIG STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS with BTC. There is zero scaling solution for BTC. There are high fees, long transaction times, miners are jumping ship.

At the very least if you hold BTC dont buy more as it goes lower. Make a calm smart decision now, or make a hurried panic decision later. Don't be focused on re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Get out now.

Now it's time you sold BCH to buy BTC.
Altcoin rises as BTC goes down, and as always, the BTC chart will bounce over 7500USD
Segwit2x postponed is not canceled. so, it is certain it will happen right
Good luck with your decision

Title: Re: Should I trade my BTC for BCH?

Anyway trading BTC for BCH isn't a smart decision. Trade for fiat, trade for ETH, trade for whatever you like, almost any Top-100 coin, but not the BCH. It is just scam fork without purpose and reasoning, with the only minimal change of original code of BTC to have 8Mb block (it actually takes 10 minutes). The BCH team flooded the Core blockchain to get all transactions stuck, and used their massive stashes of Bitcoins and Bitcoin Cash to manipulate the prices to trigger miners to move into BCH and traders to FOMO buy BCH.

Screw that. We already have DASH with technical advantages, stable team and history. Ripple has real-world application and deep banking integration.  Ethereum, Monero, Zcash, with perfect anonymity... Litecoin, finally. So why choose Bitcoin Cash? Only because of word "Bitcoin"? It is really bad practice. If BCH will win against BTC then guess what? Expect DASH rebranding to Bitcoin Dark. And then the same story can happen again and again.

Yeah. That is what I am telling the whole they. The whole panicking thing only helps the increase in Bcash. Yet they do not know if it will even benefit them at the end of the big rise. It will just cost them to swap. Maybe the first one who invested, they were the one who really benefited from the big spike. They can even sell BCash now and buy BTC because of their huge profits.

Depends, if you are a day trader then perhaps there is opportunity, but be careful as the market is clearly manipulated by some large investors so they will decide the time for pump (and dump), if you are hodling BTC for long time, perhaps this won't bother you too much as bitcoin will still be bitcoin, even Jihan agree with that.

As was clear this morning, day trading Bitcoin cash could have been profitable. This because of the hassle between bitcoincash traders who tried to disable bitcoin transactions by blocking the market in Korea. But as it's back to normal now Bitcoin cash fell back and Bitcoin is on the way up again. So, this makes clear that you should hold Bitcoin and make profit in the long term.

based on the value of bitcoin cash thesedays i think it is still a smart move to trade or exchange your bitcoin or any other coins to bitcoincash because as you can see bitcoincash is still sky rocketing going to the moon and etherium has been left behind and now bitcoincash seems to be the next bitcoin and will soon surpass the legacy of bitcoin to steal his throne.

I think it is to risky to invest in BCH on short term because it is a new coin and the price can fall in a few hours to a few cents. It is better to keep your bitcoins in wallet and wait until next year for the price to increase. I can bet bitcoin will go up to 15.000$ until the end of 2018 because new forks and coins appear wich push the price to go higher and stay in the top. If you still want to invest in BCH I recommend to invest only a about 10-20% of your bitcoins because it is not sure what will happen in future with BCH, it is probably gonna go up for a few weeks but I am sure at a certain moment of time the price will fall

I hope you did not proceed to transfer to Bitcoin Cash. My thinking is this, do not just follow the very little steps of the way. Try to look at the bigger picture, the wider horizon in order for you to see how these very little steps proceed in the long run. Obviously, such pumps happening for a few hours that is followed by a good dump quickly is not a sincere sign of growth. Rather, it is a sign of manipulation.

As we know, BCH's market value rises when the Segwit2x was cancelled prompting Bitcoin holders to transfer to BCHs leaving Bitcoin's market value fall down a bit as it can be seen on the graph. But if i am one of those bitcoin holders that time, i would probably don't trade my btc to bch. Why? BCH is only a result of Bitocoin's hardfork and since it's new, we don't know yet if it will be as dominant as bitcoin in the years to come.
As we can see in the graph today, Bitcoin's market value rises again while BCH's went down too.

You might have noticed a patern in what you're saying, what you're doing basically is selling high and buying low, my suggestion would be not to trade at all and not to try to catch short term profits, in the long-run most of this coins will appreciate a value and you'll make a handsome profit, don't be greedy and expect to double your money within a month, because that ain't how it works. The patient are rewarded eventually and the greedy one's punished. If you believe in the coin you purchase you should be confident enought that it will survive for the next ten years, if you've put your money into it. BTC is the best investment you can make, forget about BCH and all the rest of the forks that will start appearing as time goes by.

That's senseless. even the maximum supply will have reached by the bitcoin and I think that won't more than $100,000 in the future. There is no different between the bitcoin cash with another shitcoin and the best answer to keep our money in the bitcoin rather than the bitcoin cash itself.

This is the correct answer. Bitcoin is unusable at teh moment, and I can see a lot of payment providers enabling BCH and other alts to ensure that money can still move around. BTC will then be just a speculative coin.

Treat BCH as you would any other alts coins... If you want to all in in the hope it spikes, sure go right a head. But don't act like BCH will replace BTC.

If it does that party is over for crypto's

Never trade your BTC for BCH. BCH is artificially being pumped by a few rich people, whales. There is no real demand for it. But bitcoin has a great community and the demand for bitcoin is way high.

I think you should not because bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency. It is the origin of all cryptocurrencies. Trust bitcoin for atleast the end of this year. Bitcoin has a possibility to reach 8000 dollars before tge end of the year so trust bitcoin for a few days and if you still don't trust bitcoin after this year, go trade your BTC for BCH. Life is full of risks so it is you to take a risk and learn from your mistakes, don't regret.

no way! just hold your BTC

Yes. Not good idea i think. Bitcoin has more power then bch. And hold btc is good idea.
But for short term trading, you can try to buy it. Just for short trade but not long term hold bch.
Indeed, it is never suggested in under present circumstances to trade or sell bitcoin for any other coin no matter how much promising it seems apparently. Even if the bitcoin prices are dropping little bit, that is nothing to worry about.

Bitcoin is preparing itself to take a huge leap of 7000 dollars. By the end of this year, it will be above 7k dollars and yes, it is wise to sell another coin for bitcoin but not vice versa.

Do not do that,in the first place bitcoin has a higher rate then why would you trade or sell the best one to buy the better one? Does it make sense? Just keep your bitcoin and wait for it to get higher.

You should now trade BTC for BCH. Holding BTC is always a right choice. If you have more money, you can add BCH for your portfolio

Hi,

I think that bitcoin is far better than bitcoin cash, bitcoin cash is actually a hard fork introduced by a group to compete bitcoin, but its hard to leave bitcoin and enter bitcoin cash because we are already getting our high profit in quick time and it is a promising currency providing all good chances to be rich in very short time, so my honest opinion is try for bitcoin and invest in to it.

So you meant to write "not" instead of "now"? ^^

I think would be better to invest only 1/5 amount of BTC to BCH

BCH is a acammy coin. It is good only for short term speculation

This point is to buy BCH, BTC now prices are rising, BCH when stop rising or falling prices will rise up, but I only think the BCH is a short-term investment products.

Dont make a decision , that will surely make you regret in the end. We all know that the bitcoin cash now are booming in the market because there a lot of miners supporting it. But if their supports end I will sure you that bitcoin will regain its value and the price of it will be more higher than before.

I think you should keep bitcoin instead of buying Bitcoin Cash. At present, bitcoin prices are strongly increasing after a slight decrease. I really do not trust the BCH very well. The decision to keep bitcoin for me is always accurate.

Bitcoin Cash people will show off the price now, saying see, we got back our ATH, we are rising again. But this is ignorant of the fact that Bitcoin (the BTC, the real Bitcoin) has now an even higher ATH. Just like when ETH thought "see, we are at a new ATH again", it pretends it is doing well, but these alts are all piggy backing the success brought by Bitcoin.

Lesson of the year is, never bet against Bitcoin. It has won again and again. It will continue, in fact, get stronger every time it is challenged.

not only bitcoin cash but another fork coins were including on that list, the scammy token with no purpose at all. How people are still buying this shitcoin right now if there is one real bitcoin. Bitcoin is bitcoin and nothing to be added to the name of bitcoin.

At first i thought selling BCH for BTC would be good because you get more btc and when forks happen, you get more coins.

However, would you say its better to sell your BCH for BTC or the other way around?  Or keep both?  Because people seem to mention BCH will be huge.

I dont think BCH will ever overtake BTC. BTC has a much wider audience and usability and you should hold on to it.

Bitcoin Cash is not the best option to trade against Bitcoin (BTC) you must hold bitcoin and never trade against bitcoin cash that will be great practices to gain good profit in future

Happy Trading
Thanks

I agree with you.. In my opinion, BCH is just a BTC with faster transaction time... but so does most of altcoins out there, they have faster transaction time..

Other than that, BTC is better in every way than BCH..

I think we better hold our BTC, than trade it or invest on BCH ~

maybe he can choose ethereum between bitcoin cash or maybe he could choose litecoin, monero, or even dash than bitcoin cash. but I think why he trades his btc for bch while there are many coins that he could choose? besides that, it is better to just save the bitcoin and wait for the price increase back than trade for bch if he doesn't know how to analyze the coins.
