Despite the hate BCH was receiving on this forum, I decided to buy because I can see this coin can take me places. My portfolio has now more than doubled. One thing I have learned in cryptocurrency is never to be a follower. Do your own thing. Followers remain broke. Learn the lessons from those who were in Bitcoin early but are still broke.

I believe it is at a pump now because of the segwit being cancelled without prior notice.
There have been lost after that and maybe some people with a lot of investment want to continue the pump that shouldve happened with BTC. Now they used BCH as a means to go back.

I would be very hesitant to say Bitcoin Cash is King! I'd ride the pump with a smile on my face for sure, and I'd be getting ready now to get out on the dump.

If you really do believe that bch is king, then you should sell it before it price corrects, because it will.

If it's a pump and dump(which it is showing all signs that it is), the price will drop.

If there are legitimate investors moving to bch because segwit didn't work out, then it will still drop.
Any commodity, stock, and crypto can not sustain such growth.  Eventually, it will price correct.

So sell it now, and if you still believe in it, buy more when the price dips.
I personally, think that bch will never replace btc.
I'm in the camp that believes btc will never be replaced until an entirely different decentralized crypto with better tech comes along to replace it.

Bitcoin Cash is just another copy cat bitcoin being pumped right now on an INFLATED market cap.
IT has nothing to offer besides more mining centralization to your mining overlords and followers.

Bitcoin Cash isn't King at all. Moreover it is like any of other 1000+ pump'n'dump only coins with no practical purpose. Today, right, is good day for those who missed the previous peak of around $1000 per BCH. Some smaller pump'n'dump coins already made 10x-50x while BCH made only around of 1.2x of its previous peak cost.

Retail companies accepting BTC DO NOT like the fees. Nor do everyday people who only make $2.00 a day.
BCH resolved those issues providing for greater scalability.
BCH is the near future coin for everyday people.
Leave BTC for the whales.

I agree with the post above, whales makes unexpected ways to make money. I am thinking that this segwit2x is just to pump BTC price up and now that its up, time bring it down again to buy some more by pumping BCH making it look like it will win over BTC, but I guess not in this life time. Huge crash coming but not for BTC.

Maybe for a day or so, but in the long term or maybe not so long at all, Bitcoin will be back. Bitcoin is and will always be the real thing. Now Bitcoin cash is rising because of whales pumping, although I think it's because of Chinese miners who prefer this above bitcoin. But it's all just a matter of time before Bitcoin is back in the uptrend.

i agree with you i always i believe bitcoin is the king among us, if look the price of bitcoin today fall down but its normal but then again if bounce back again the price value its profitable, and correct always follow you own ability and decision are good skills.

I think it still takes time to say BCH is king, we still remember that some time ago the price is too drop. We wait if the year 2018 prices do not go down to $ 1000, then the chance to be ranked 2 after bitcoin.

Bitcoin cash now offers really good improvements, such as fast transactions with minimal commissions, while the original bitcoin has a large overload of its system due to low bandwidth, due to the fact that it has a limit of seven transactions per second. Why should we give up such amenities? Many have already understood this and started investing in cash in cash. I think that there are normal processes to improve bitcoin.

1.) Why did BCH not die in the first place? The reason is its owned by BITMAIN (alibaba) some of the richest guys in CHINA, who also own most of the bitcoin, they were forcing people for the past months to buy antminers with BCH, which kept the price high, selling BTC/USD for BCH

Even i do not agree that BCH is king !!! I see BTC as a valuable player in the market and got its own place in the crypto world. Still if i see BCH is dropping , i would see the other altcoins riding up for giving returns to short term traders, its only a correction i hope so. Still The market will recover as other altcoins are not strong as BTC in terms of technology or any other factor. I would see the future of BTC more brighter than BCH considering the market cap and the daily rising volumes as well.

BCH is no King, not yet. It all depends on the efforts taken to develop and market it.

It's a good thing your funds are more than doubled by Bitcoin Cash. This does't mean that it is king already. It would take some time, lot of FUDs and blockchain failure to be able to root out Bitcoin at the top. We will see how Bitcoin works with lesser miners but I think they will also proceed with Lightning Network soon that will give them another big boost.

No one ever expected this can happen but it's really happen. Luckily I've invest about 0.6 BCH and made some profit from it

I have to agree with you that the value of bitcoin cash has really skyrocketed to new all time highs and no one was expecting it. Its also a good thing to see that you haven't dumped your bitcoin cash when most investors were dumping theirs, honestly speaking I am one of them, I dumped mine when the value was around $300-400 few weeks back. I personally thought that the value was going to dump to zero, its clear that I was a bit dump and wasn't thinking straight, probably that is the why I regret the move I made since I have lost some money. However, I still don't think bitcoin cash is king, bitcoin is king and thats a fact, don't confuse the two.

When i was a newbie I remember that when i posted that you should buy bitcoin cash the amount of hate that i got, i was ridiculed for liking BCH. Yes, like a few months ago. Bitcoin cash ever touched the number 0.15 Bitcoin. And now it happens again even reaching 0.3 Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash is very promising for short-term profits. Bitcoin is the Queen and Bitcoin Cash is the King, yes, you heard it right. There's nothing wrong with Bitcoin Cash to pump, it has to be that way and any Altcoin should pump not today but in the future. It is indeed a good sign that not only Bitcoin has the right to rise the value and also Altcoin does.

Why do some guys do hate Bitcoin Cash. It's an official August fork and they're not supposed to be made for confusions. They're designed to be a competitor for Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash value increase doesn't meant for Bitcoin destruction but instead its a sign that Altcoins has good future too. Crypto-Currency isn't focused on Bitcoin alone but to every digital currency that exist today.

i think its better that if we can use bitcoin cash to help us to get more profit like what we do with bitcoin. maybe bitcoin cash is the competitor for bitcoin but as long as we can take the benefits from bitcoin cash then i think we can do it with easily like yesterday. but i realized that many people don't like bitcoin cash and they just ignored this coins but for me, if i can make more profit with the coins, then i will do it again and again.

I do regret selling my free coins some weeks ago in other to take the advantages of free coins that may arise from the postpone hard fork. My amazing is how bitcoin cash was able to get pump from below  $300 to over  $2,000 in just three days. I am expecting the price to come down a little before buying and hopefully this happen next week.

It is strange to call a King an altcoin, which appeared due to the fork, the crypto that was born thanks to Bitcoin. It will never take a leading position on the cryptocurrencies market, I think.

Bitcoin cash right now are really increasing fast just this month we see  a large potencial that can be replace bitcoin.. but its impossible to happen.. since bitcoin will be always the king interms of use they are lots of business already use bitcoin than bitcoin cash.. Being king doesn't happen with those cheap and easy pumps that takin place in the market almost for 1 week. Bitcoin cash is in its early stages and don't get fooled by its pump and rise. So many people are getting trap by bitcoin cash whales at the peak of the price. This seems the bitcoin cash was full of manipulation. As you can see some people have written about their story to buy the bitcoin cash at the peak and just some hours the price went down a half from the peak. This is really shaming. it just like a scam coin with manipulation like bitconnect.

the bittrex price is 7200$ again and it didnt take long for it to recover.
this should give people confidence that bitcoin is hard to topple.

There are a couple things people should consider in this thread. Firstly, Bitmex will be liquidating all of their customers' BCH holdings by year-end and distributing BTC to them. Bitmex is the highest volume broker/swap provider on the market.

Secondly, Coinbase will be distributing their customers' BCH holdings by January 2018. They supposedly hold ~10% of all BTC in circulation, so that applies to BCH as well. It's not clear whether they will open BCH markets. If they don't, I think we can assume that customers will send their BCH to Bitstamp, Bitfinex, etc. to dump.

Regardless of anything else, these seem like bearish fundamentals to me. I think that Bitcoin Cash whales will be selling into any price pump before all of this new supply enters the market.

Correct. Op is just hyping this coin just because it just replaced ethereum in the second place for a very short time and those bitcoincash fanatics are already celebrating for that nonsense occurence.

The real king is Bitcoin, the bitcoin value is almost 40% down then returns to the highest price. Bitcoincash only pumping temporarily and just like any other altcoin that will later dumping as well. But I am happy for the BCH holders because the price is up multiply and that's very profitable for BCH holder.

Yes you make profit with bch but I made more with BTC, and bch price now is stuck while BTC price is keep on going and BTC is still dominating crypto currencies, bch pumping is due to the whale and the miner, BTC up is due to the more people investing in it, so I still think BTC is King not bch

I remember being under so much stress when I first saw btc price correct and all the other alts go down with it.

The original is the king and bitcoin cash is helping bitcoin to pump after the price went high many profit takers came out and put back their fund to bitcoin. Again there is another article I've seen this morning that Roger Ver is declaring that bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin so that totally affected the price from $8,200 - $7,700.

I agree sir, maybe author of this thread is bitcoin cash lover, but for me I have no doubt that Bitcoin is the KING. I believe that no one can beat them on the top spot, because as per observation in crypto no one can defeat bitcoin even in the amount or value in the market.

How many you are holding? If I were you I'll be gladly selling that for now and will convert it to bitcoin. Bitcoin cash has been there awhile and with it's fast increase to it's value still bitcoin will be the king. Remember the roger ver was including on the bitcoin cash giant too. I think that the if roger are converting all of his bitcoin and roger might have some percent from all of the bitcoin cash supply in this time.

I think BitCoin Cash is pump and dump just on bigger scale. How can BCH increase in value without any good reason from 900 to over 2000$ in less than 24h? It's clearly pump & dump, and now price is just above 1K. I will not sell BTC and buy BCH no matter what people say. People behind BCH have already history with fraud. A rare person, who deals with cryprocurrency really believes that Bitcoin Cash is a king. If it is a son of a real Crypto Emperor, he might be called by someone a prince. However, it is not so strong. Not a bubble, but just another alt surrounded with much hype.

hmm I'm sorry but you are not making much sense here. Why do you say that those who were in bitcoin are broke now? Bitcoin is still way ahead bcash in price and marketcap. I was one of those that dumped bcash, and to be honest I don't really regret it, even thought I sold them around $600 and they are now close to double of that price.

I'm not in crypto just for trade and profit, I actually want to use them in the future, and although bcash might be better now, in terms of transactions and fees, the increase in block size is just not a good solution for long term, because it promotes centralization. Bcash is to centralized already for my taste, and it will get worst in the future in my opinion.

I think no other king coin than bitcoin this is the only coin i know dominates crypto currency and i treat bitcoin one of the shit coin which only relying in bitcoun value.

Bitcoin cash moved around for a while as a king, but this didn't last long. Why this doesn't last long completely depends upon the growth taking place with bitcoin compared to bitcoin cash which is a split of the core bitcoin. With the recent price bumping it too gained good market with more users switching to bitcoin cash.

Yes BTC cash did do great after the fork, or actually after the fork was canceled, but what I'm interested in more in whether it would performed that well if the fork has not been canceled. That's important to determine because it will show the real value of BTC Cash if it has any. As far BTC cash is king that's nonsense, the only original BTC is one and will always be. There will be many forks in the future, will every forked BTC be the new king? Very likely not. People will just realize that it doesn't make sense to see on forking main coins and that they are not getting much out of it. When everyone is tired of BTC copies they will turn back to the original, which is BTC and things will be set once and for all.

You can't take this serious. Bitcoin cash had a price increase because it was pumped by you know who. Bitcoin is still leading, although the price of BTH is going up surprisingly fast. So, profits can be made with BTH, but that does not make it king.

I think that Bitcoin cash had a slight increase because devs forced it to be so, at first iat launch it was not that succefull because people thought that it was going to be another altcoin derived from bitcoin, but after a week or so, the diificulty of mining it has gone down compared to bitcoin which at the time witnessed an increase in both fees and transaction time so people switched to mining bitcoin cash for few dyas and that realy gave it a push in price which increased thye number of people using it, and now bitcoin cash is starting to become successesfull.

I'm not sure that bitcoin cash can become king because it does not really contribute much to the development of cryptocurrencies in general, but at least I'm glad to see that it has become a good alternative for those who like to diversify risks and start to see in BCH a safe heaven to counteract the volatility of bitcoin, since it seems to have developed an inverse correlation with the price of bitcoin, so that much of the money that eventually comes out of bitcoin goes to BCH.

We cant judge any altcoin to be a king but this bitcoin cash cant claim as a king some tell that it was because of the price that really pump in a way that we cant expect for it , so for me we should wait for what can really happen on this coin.

Bitcoin cash is the biggest scam in the crypto world of this moment. I'm a huge hater of Bitcoin cash, that is made clear by my handle and the title of this post. I absolutely hate it and why I'm at it I should point out that I hate segwit 2x also, for much the same reasons. I'd like to explain my perspective and hopefully others will wake up to this blatant underhanded attempt to supplant BTC. Firstly, BCH's biggest complaint about BTC was the block size, and so they forked and now they have big blocks.
The elephant in the room, the smoking gun if you like is.. BCH now has what they wanted so it should be the end of the story, right? But it's not , why? Because BCH wanted big blocks AND to dethrone BTC, but it didn't work first time around and now they are going to try again with the help of Bitmain and Co during and after the Segwit 2x nonsense. Amidst the chaos of segway 2x BCH will make their move. Secondly this BS about following satoshi's white paper and staying true to Satoshi's vision. I mean come on, how stupid do you think the crypto-community is? Only the most deluded and gullible person would fall for that, and I cringe every time I hear Ver pull that well worn line out of his behind. No, Satoshi left Bitcoin to us so it could evolve organically to suit the times and situation, and it has.

There is no such thing as king in crypto. Whatever is currently most profitable in mining is it. Whenever the mining difficulty gets too high on BTC the miners switch over to BCC untill that ones difficulty has catched up as well and switch back to BTC mining. This leads to the rising of BCH but in a few days it declines back a bit after tyhe miners switch to BTC again. Practicly every other week this is happening now. Whereever the most miners are that coin blooms.

Why do some guys do hate Bitcoin Cash. It's an official August fork and they're not supposed to be made for confusions. They're designed to be a competitor for Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash value increase doesn't meant for Bitcoin destruction but instead its a sign that Altcoins has good future too. Crypto-Currency isn't focused on Bitcoin alone but to every digital currency that exist today.

Bitcoin Cash will rise to 5k even 10k maybe but it won't be able to follow Bitcoin all the way especially with Lightning already in beta the days of BCH is limited I'd say

Bitcoin cash is not innovative at all, it does not even have any new idea, the idea of having bigger blocks is not new and it has been discussed to death in the community it was the easy way out of the problem bitcoin has with scaling but it was not the preferred one by the devs and that is why we had all those forks in the first place.

It was a long and big pump (good analyse), I made profits making daily trading with BCH, and then I bought one 3000$ after it collapse a first time, and then i bought another one for 2000$ just befire it collapse again, i just have to be patient now hoping it will go back

I didn't always believe bitcoin cash stood a chance, but with its addition to coinbase's new plan as the paypal of crypto, I think it has more actual opportunity than ever before. The bitcoin community is still sitting on their hands as far as increasing block sizes and lowering fees. This will hurt bitcoins reputation and we are already seeing the start of problems. Although I am happy to see bitcoin pumping on its own right now, it still has major infrastructure issues that need to be ironed out. There is no getting around this in the long term.

BCH is not the king for me all of us think differently, you cannot tell people what to buy and when because they have their own strategy amd plans. All of us are doing the best we can to profit a lot although bch is a good coin, bch is not the only one so you can profit there are a lot of other coins out there so don't miss your oppurtunities to buy and to sell for greater good.

Personally l think BCASH has many merits.  If any one has sent  coins recently you will know the fee's are tiny, cheaper then LTC, ETH and way lower then Bitcoin. Cost me 1 cent to send a few coins recently. At this point in time the confirmation time is still about the same as BTC, for 6 confirmation, compared to Bitcoins 2.

I am amazed that people trash it so much, l guess they are the Bitcoin Maxxies...The same people who think that bitcoin will take over the world when lightning network rides in on it's white horse!! If you believe them all Altcoins will be obsolete when this happens, so we will loose 1541 coins.

If there's any pre-mine the entire project is useless since they can't claim it's "the original BTC" if there's a pre-mine. However if there isn't, then the team must be respected. It's cheaper and faster to transfer BCH than BTC currently. Hopefuly BTC core will up its game soon.

Yeah, bitcon cash is one of the altcoin that I appreciated most on its tremendous performance but as of this moment it will never be a king at all. I really amazed on the performance of bitcoin cash so much due it value so high and reached that value of approximate $1,500 for just short period of time. BCASH will never be a king. I have free BCASH and converted it in Bitcoin, thanks to pump and dump by Roger Ver minions . I have no BCASH today and i don't consider myself broke because my portfolio is still increasing. BCASH is just one altcoin and there are far more good altcoins aside from BCASH.
