I think that it will not reach 10,000$. But after the new year bitcoin will grow. Although, I hope it will be faster)

You can be right. Institutional money will soon be entering the Bitcoin market and that means that Bitcoin right now is already counting this possibility as it is slowly making its way towards the goal of $10,000. It would be a happy day if soon it can reach that level before the end of the year. Bitcoin is now having a big revenge after it experienced one of the many crashes in its history. Usually, there is that rebound after Bitcoin will crash and this is happening now. Finally, we can really say that despite of the many people telling us that Bitcoin is just a fad and even a fraud, it is here to stay and getting ready for the best run in its life. Long live, Bitcoin!

The problem here is that nobody can give you an accurate answer. Everyone would love to see BTC hit $10k by the year's end and current trends wouldd suggest that it is indeed possible. Having been said, trends aren't anything to stand by and the price can drop drastically in the few weeks we have left of 2017.

Good post, things are on the uppy up.  When I 1st read LedgerX Leap, thought it was for Dec. 28, 2017, but turns out 2018.  An entire year to reach $10k, that's a good bet!

It is true that no one can give us an accurate answer, but we can based on projection and rational expectation to see where the price is going if the historic data holds.

We assume the price history will repeat itself.  Given that, a log transformation regression model based on only this year of data would explain 95.5% of the data and gives us a year-end price prediction of $9000 - not quite make it to $10,000.  However, with some positive news and intervention, it may be possible that the price hits $10,000 by the end of 2017.  If some unexpected unwelcome surprises during these times came up, then it would be a different story.

I didn't expect it too before that the price of bitcoin will be good at $7,000 and now at $8,000. I'm only thinking that it will be stable at $1,000 but luckily we're really far from before.

But $10,000 at the end of this year, if the price continues to reach $9,000 before this November ends maybe we can see it possible for the month of December.

If it didn't went at $9,000 on the first day of December, $9,000 is a very good and stable guess at the end of this year.

10,000 is within the higher reaches of possibility, but it would take a push to make it happen before new year. Maybe lighting will help, maybe BCH will lie down. who knows.

I don't think we will see it within this year, not enough time left. Early next year we will definitely hit $10K, though.

10.000 is just a psychological boundary, .... what if it will be 9.800 USD on December 31? Will you be disappointed? I really don't care what the price it today or on December 31, most important for me is that I'm glad that I have Bitcoin. HODL.

I think $10k is possible by end of this year. waiting for CME futures launch on december 10, price will moon!

Nah, i won't be disappointed if price doesn't reach $10k or goes $9.8k and comes down. i'm gonna wait another 4 years before i sell my coins to buy a house. ;)

LN will probably not be available this year.  Maybe news on China relexing the ban on Bitcoin or one or two institutional investors start investing in Bitcoin  would do.  A 25% increase in 6 weeks is not easy but it does happen before.


Honestly, 10K is a very optimistic expectation.  Given the price is at record high right now, hopefully, it will not have a dramatic drop again.  Because when that happened, it may take a month or more to recover.

I would not be surprised if it happens. I already am surprised to nothing. I think it is quite possible.

House price varies greatly in different area, may I ask where are you planning to get your house? :)

I am planning to sell 50% of my BTCs after 10 years and keep the other half for apprepriation.

If the price of Bitcoin keeps increasing fast like this I think it's totally impossible. But there are more than 1 month left so I think we need to wait to see if there are any special events or occasions will be happened and see which way will it affect to Bitcoin price, maybe it'll help Bitcoin price increasing very quickly or maybe not. Although there are very little time left until the end of this year but I still hope that Bitcoin price will reach to 10k$ before 2018 :D

After new year btc becomes 10000

An month back I started to know about bitcoin as well regularly check the price of bitcoin. The price difference that has taken place between the day I came to know about it and the preset price is much different. So, we have one month to end the year. Upon the same I believe we'll be touching $10000 before year end.

This year has been crazy for the bitcoin. It is possible that it will reach 10k. But the main question is how the trends will look in the next year.

Same as me. I didnt think bitcoin will be this high six month ago. But to reach 10k usd at the end of 2017 is kinda hard. 9000++ usd would be acceptable by the end of 2017.
Yes, bitcoin has a big future potential, there are many factors that support is, such as :
1. Always break a price records by going up to a new level of price, although it has its down too, but it is normal in any kind of currency.
2. Some country already make bitcoin as a legal payment in their country.
3. Big vendors and merchants are starting to accept bitcoin.
That is just some factors that i can think of. Well, we are not wrong to invest our money on bitcoin. To the 10k !

Things are happening on bitcoin very quick and for just a short span of time it can pump to an increase of $1,000. By the mid of the year we did seen it pumped crazily and passed off through $2,000+ , $3,000 and now $8,000. Possible that we can reach $10,000 by the end of this year. Things are getting more exciting because of bitcoin, this is now the new generation of elite rich people.

It now again seems to be possible since Bitcoin was already able to reach 8100 USD at this moment and if nithing will go wrobg for Bitcoin and the high rate of increase on its value will continue, there's a huge possibilitu for this thing to happen before this year of 2017 ends.

If you asked me this just two days ago I would have answered nothing else than a clear no. But now current times make it worth the time to think about it. While I could not clearly say yes, it is now perfectly possible for me.

Just some reference points:

Bitcoin is at 137B market cap right now.
Circulated USD is 1.5T.  (11X)
Gold mined 8.2 T.  (60X)
Total Stocks value is about 70T.  (511X)

At some points the crazy price increases and the up and down volatility will end.

No one expects Bitcoin to reach its current height of market value  above $8,200 as at the time of this post and that has raised some of us expectation that Bitcoin market value Will reach $10,000 before end of December this year. And the major factor behind the as far as am concerned is the fources of demand and supply which I believe will continue to influence Bitcoin value upward.

Everybody wants its to happen. Especially those bitcoin users that use to be earn by joing in a signiture campaign. And it also a good new for users who savemore and hold a lot of bitcoin.
As of now bitcoin price are almost $8,000 and its still amount before the year end. So I'am hoping that bitcoin really reach $10,000 before the end of the year.

Op, there is no doubt about it, Bitcoin will reach  $10,000 before end of December this year.

Today price of bitcoin is very high and now it's 8200 dollars. Im very happy for that and for sure the price will increase more so be ready because maybe the price will become 10k dollars before end of this year 2017.

It might reach, but consider some obstacle of investors denying since they will think that it is too over price they will began to be pushed back by the value, furthermore there is always ups and down regarding the value but at this point it is the part where bitcoin price is getting a boost.

A lot of people said before that the price would no longer increase or reach 7000 and above. But it did and now it is still going up and may reach 10000 before the end of 2017. However, given that the price is pretty high already, some might start selling which will slow down the increase of the price. If so happens that it will not reach 10000 this year, I think it will still reach it by the first quarter of 2018. I believe that Bitcoin price will still continue on kicking and increasing in price for the next couple of years.

On the current price of $8,200 and there is only around 40 days before the year ends then it may be impossible for Bitcoin's price to reach $10,000 but who knows it is just $1,800 away from that amount and bitcoin price was able to increase from $5,600 to $8,000 in just one week. But many things should be considered, will there be more new investors that will buy bitcoin in the remaining days of 2017? Once this happen $10,000 will be reached easily.,

I'm not really sure but if the increase on its value will continue and if there will be nothing wrobg to hapoen before this year end that will make its value to fall, i think that is possible even if we are just a month aeay before this year end. The rate of increase at this moment is indeed high making it really possible to be more exoensive now that its value is already at 8200 USD.

I think that the pure hype amongsts the investors right now is enough to push price over $10k for sure. Even if it is the peak of the bubble i do agree with the analysts that say that BTC will go to $10k or even $15k at the end of the year/start of the next.

Last year we saw a great surge in pricing of bitcoin near the Christmas/New year area.

I would not be surprised if we see another surge in price this year, at the same time.

These news are certainly encouraging. I would not be surprised by $10k by the end of the year, but I would also not be especially surprised by a correction to, say, $7k. However, I suppose that with more big investors the volatility will decrease and the price will continue to rise.

The price is moving towards it's goal and trend chart shows the possibility to hit $10k by this year last week but according to a report by business insider a company name "tether" have reported a heist of $30 million in crypto currency which is affecting btc and ETH prices to have dip so due to some reasons it might not get possible to see this peak price by end of the year

Ir is hard to tell though. Within a month there are lot of things to happen and we are not surr whether it will be infavor with Bitcoin or not. Also, since the hardfork in november was already cancelled so it will surely be hard for Bitcoin's value to be more expensive. Maybe it would be able to reach 9000 uSD but i doubt that it will make it to 10.

Sorry for interrupting mate but according to my experience no one knows if that speculated value has a possibility to reach. cause i think no one can speculate when will bitcoin continue its journey or when it fall .what i mean is bitcoin is always volatile even before  maybe soon it will fall hard.

lets we thinking that in october 2017, many people said that bitcoin is hardly to increase to hit $5,000 and the higher price is around $48xx according the bitcoin price in bittrex. but in october 11 after the price is dump until $4,71x the price is trying to increase and finally in october 12, the price hit $5,448 and its stay for one day and then the price start to moving up and down. and then in just one month, in november 08, the price hit $7849 and this is the high price in that day and then the price is dump so hard until $5,43x. but from that day, the price is come back to reach the higher price and its happen in this day while the price is reach $8329.

so from this, we are increase about $3,xxx in just one month. we can see that bitcoin can increase more higher in the rest of the this year and i think bitcoin price can hit $10k by the end of 2017 but no one will know when it will happen.

Great point. However, like most people, it's not being negative or what not, but I also don't think that it would reach 10k bit the end of this year. The time for it to gain such price point is not enough for it to aggressively up its value. But, I also believe that anything is possible in the bitcoin market, therefore, if a miraculous turn of events may happen that might really affect its value in a big way. Maybe, just maybe it can reach that amount.

Hope it happens again, too, although there is no good explanation for it. 

By considering the price increase of bitcoin in past two days,it is seems to be happen.Nearly 40 days are there for the new year.
So in 40 days,the price of bitcoin will reach 10k $+.I had inverse in bitcoin when the price was 7000$,I am waiting for some more price raise.

that is just a nice full number. But if it does reach that, the next stop could be $20,000. I will hold for the long term.

What a ride during the long weekend!  The price has been stablized around 9600-9700 for the last 24 hours.  It seems like $10,000 before year end is a very good possiblity now.

I am dam sure bitcoin will reach 10,000$ before the end of this year.If you have any holding bitcoin wait till the year end.At the end of 2017,the price of bitcoin will cross the value of 10k$.So holders now keep their holding bitcoin for more than one month,you will get some more couple of dollar in your hand.Even bitcoin cross 11000$ at this year end.

Indeed especially when new year is coming, there will be a lot of demand for bitcoin so may the whale trader take some action to find this opportunity for profit.
My suggestion : just keep hold as long as you've satisfy on current profit !

Of course, bitcoin is on the way to reaching $10,000 and no doubt it will reach $10,000 before the end of the year. The question is, is bitcoin going to go above $10,000 or not?

If the institutional investors start to invest in (some may already did except that they did not announce it), the demand will push the price even higher.  Also, right now many people do not know how to invest in Bitcoin.  Once the Bitcoin Future kicks in, many new investors will come in and bid up the price further.

I observed that a lot of people are asking when is the best time to invest and many seem to find confusion for it. You asked this question last November 20, 2017 if bitcoin prices can reach $10,000 by the end of the month and the answer is YES. Currently, the price is around $9600-$9700 and it may soon reach the $10,000 mark by the end of the year. Back on my question, if people invested today they will inevitably earn profit in the long run!

One factor that determines the price of bitcoin is due to the law of demand and supply. Not to mention, big trading companies are starting to accept bitcoin as their trading option which contributes to the price increase. Soon, people on wall street will definitely not ignore bitcoin and we may soon see it as one of the biggest cryptocurrency ever.

I think that today's reality has fully answered your question, hotels with a winch of 10,000 dollars. some of the trade exchanges showed even a slightly higher figure, but I think that this is not the end and we will see regular records of the price of Bitcoin. Maybe even before the end of this year.

Op, definitely Bitcoin market value Will reach  $10,000 before end of December this year, in short before end of this week if all things remain equal we expect Bitcoin value to reach that height of  $10,000 . And this are some of the good news that will encourage new investors and more acceptance from prople that are new or don't believe in Bitcoin and crypto currency in general.

It already reach to $10k and everyones predictions really come true.If investors still continue to invest in bitcoin there would be another pump most probably it will surpass to $10k by the end of this year.If there would be a correction for the coming days pretty sure its not that bad because almost everyone wang to hodl their bitcoin for the next 5 or 10years.

Yes, 2017 is not yet end but the value are more than 10000$ already and i think before this year will end value will reach 15000$ making our Christmas much merry. Also this time is the best time to invest because i think 2018 have huge increase in the value an brings huge profit to all people.
