Yes it is really difficulty to newbies to choose the right kind of crypto currency especially if they have only limited knowledge about it. I suggest that you invest first on what we called "Blue Chip Coins". Tese are the coins that are stable now in value and has strong developer backgrounds. Start to invest on your self also. Learn how it works by reading and studying everything about crypto currency.

Never in my life did anything valuable fall on my head as a gift. We need to learn, make mistakes, correct them, lose money, get experience. If it's easy to become rich, then why do not we have all the millionaires?
 I invest in ICO. But I'm studying their whitepaper. I do not choose a company with very large capitalization. I think the inflated cost at the beginning is bad to generate income.

Don't make rash decisions as a "newbie" in the crypto market. It's really easy to lose a lot of money quick. Yeah it is really difficult, and even us we do struggles on finding legit ICO's in the first place. Research is the only thing that might help you, it is necessary to know everything about their project and the team, and also ask someone before making decisions. Practice yourself finding good projects then consult to those who has more experience to see if your doing well. And always think multiple times, because once you do it, you can't bring it back.

Yes it is indeed difficult. What i did when i started is i bought bitcoins. I was advised to read and research a coin before i started exchanging my bitcoins with it. I was also told to hold my coins that's why for now i'm just sticking with bitcoin and holding it.

Learn things and then trade. But if investing is too much needed than I recommend to start investing in more stable coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, ripple, zcash.

As newbie the step i m followowing are:
Study and read topics in bitcointalk
Follow the more experienced guys here
Have clear in mind that the money invested in crypto Can easily be lost
Divide the Capital into  the 5 or 6 most important crypto giving preference to btc and eth

I would go with Bitcoin and Ethereum first, and than make my own research which coin would be good choice to invest. You need to read a lot, and follow the trends. When there are some news that can affect the value on coin, people here will add them here as soon as they see it. This is really valuable.

I am a newbie in cryptocurrency and I've been reading a lot here in the forum plus doing some research and getting help from friends who have been doing this for quite some time now but I am still at that level where evertything I discover, does not readily sink in and so all those mentioned above, repeat until it makes a mark.  Although, based on feedback, really as a newbie you have to start with cryptos like bitcoins and ethereum as these are the more popular ones with the former being the more stable and has a lot of followers.  As a newbie, invest in two things: the coins and time on going through forums as this will ultimately help you raise your rank and make you eligible to gain more in signature or bounty campigns.  Anything you earn from those, you invest or trade or hold on to it, it's really up to you.  Eitherway, you have to DO something!
