IMO White Rabbit is very interesting project and will be damanded by the contetn creators as they could earn more with it.
As I realize the project will make a plug-in for major internet browsers that allows you to securely pay for content streamed to your device based on recognition of films or television series that are being watched.
The roadmap on the website says that the Alpha product launch will be in the Q2 2018.
And at what stage is the technical realization of this by now?

Its solid and i love the idea.

A browser plugin with content sharing is really a smart & innovative idea.

I do know some others projects trying to be in the same "area " ( market ) , but you really have an advantage on competitors with your project idea & future projections.

back in early December the pre-sale was 25x ETH minimum (when ETH was around $300 or so IIRC) - given that ETH is now nearer $1200, is the pre-sale minimum still at 25x ETH, or has it changed ?

Currently 1ETH=3040WRT. If there are any changes, we'll certainly communicate that. :)

I think you would need to be an accredited US investor to contribute in the token sale. After you have the tokens via a token sale or from an exchange trade: there should not be any problems using the platform as a US citizen.

WRT, that is, White Rabbit tokens can be easily exchanged for ether (ETH) or for another crypto currency.

Q. Is White Rabbit going to the source of the movies?
A. Its a three pronged approach. I am a producer myself, and work closely with sales agents and distributors who have libraries of films - some that have unsold territories, some that are being pirated to the extent that WR is a solution for them to collect revenue from p2p streaming. So I am talking to my contacts to secure rights for WR. Furthermore, the token itself WRT allows you the fans to change the industry, 1 film at a time. I noticed the CTO and CFO still have other jobs. They don’t mention White Rabbit in their LinkedIn profile. How will the team divide their team between their current positions and White Rabbit? Will they quit their other positions after an succesfull ico?

I'm afraid I can't speculate on how White Rabbit would impact their personal lives.

The CEO answered this in the TG chat:

The answer from CEO is very complete and had to more than just satisfy the curiosity of those who was  doubted!
This project is not the chep one or how they are called "whitepaper projects". White Rabbit is the solution for professional actors and film directors as well as for ordinary users who want to buy quality content to do this without the interaction of the third parties - so every will get enefits from this! And this product was created by the professionals in this sphere, so I`m reallly looking forward to kthe time, I could use thei plugin and appreciate those quality content from it.

White Rabbit is definitelly an outstanding project from the team of lovers of the film art and industry! It is just a little different from other ICOs there in the terms of conducting their ICO because they are artists by nature and they try to spread the word about the blockchain and White Rabbit directly in the films related community. But after their voyage to the Berlinale Film Festival I hope we will see the main ICO phase ending with the hard cap soon!
The 1Q of the 2018 is going to the end and as it is stated in the WR roadmap the main stage of token sale is going to be held within its terms, so IMO everyone is interested in the adherence to deadlines.

But still a good question was asked. I'm curious, will the team members also be required to pass this test?

The team doesn't need to pass the process since they are asking their customers to provide identifying information.

I think this is an important requirement for the ICO organizer and the customer itself so as not to conflict with legal issues in a country, because the KYC (Know Your Customer) is required to ensure the identity and origin of the customer is not from a country that is prohibited from participating in an ICO.

Glad you asked. I for one can tell you that I'm sick of my favourite shows dying off after the first one or two seasons. With the White Rabbit project the people making content we love will actually be able to get paid and have a more active involvement with their community while also getting paid to make the content and keep it coming.

Milligan is so active and try his best in promoting White Rabbit main idea and exellent product - browser plug-in that recognizes the content streamed, allowing fans to pay the rights holder directly, without forcing them to subscribe to any particular streaming site. Well, with the rescheduled dates of the ICO of White Rabbit we have to confirm that a numer of other bockchain projects with the very similar aims were founded and are going to held their ICO or are already in the process of it. I didn`t see if any could seriously compete with WR in the terms of the tech delievery and the impementation of its idea as well as the factor of the strong and connective team members that ar invovlved in the film industry and are familiar with all of the atom datailes of industry, but...   
Has anybody made a comparison of such platforms and do we really consider some of them as a strong rivals for WR product?

White Rabbit is an incredibly ambitious attempt to fix the content streaming industry. They appeared to have thought deeply about the correct way to fix the problems and also to have drawn inspiration from other brilliant but flawed attempts such as Popcorn time.
Risks
    Despite designing an incredibly well thought out platform, I don’t think the White Rabbit team has created strong enough incentives for consumers to actually download the plugin and begin to use White Rabbit.
    Although users get an extra 5% token bonus for allowing their data to be monetized within the platform, that doesn’t strike me as a good enough sales pitch to get the average person to download this plugin and start paying content creators. -2.5
    As White Rabbit themselves know well, content is king. You can create the most innovative platform, with the best features, the sleekest UI, and the perfect solution for rights holders, but if a consumer can’t watch their favorite show how and when they want to, the platform is worthless. Hulu is a perfect example of this.
    The entire premise of White Rabbit is that a majority of people consuming pirated content are actually just frustrated fans who would be happy to pay for content legally if it was simply convenient and affordable for them to do so.
    It was therefore incredibly puzzling that one of the terms they demanded of partnered streaming sites was to delete media content if rights holders didn’t want to participate and White Rabbit asked them to. Especially at the beginning, this could undermine White Rabbit’s entire purpose for existing and lead to users quitting the platform out of frustration.
    Although ultimately this would still technically be the fault of the rights holder and entrenched industry players, I don’t see White Rabbit becoming the dominant force unless they are willing to break through the logjam and potentially face litigation from content holders early on. -3.5
Growth Potential
    Incredibly low fixed token supply that should only increase in value as White Rabbit’s user base grows. +5.5
    Incredibly reasonable solution to the current logjam that is streaming media.
    Implemented intelligently, the incentives are aligned to allow consumers to pay for the content that they want, wherever and whenever they want to watch it.
    This alone is a revolutionary breakthrough that blockchain technology enables that could radically change the entire industry. +6.5

We arrive at a score of 6/10 for White Rabbit.

The number we have is 60% of illegal streamers are willing to pay, if given the option. That is of course based on two studies, and the number might be half that or less. But with a $20Bn piracy market, we have quite alot to work with either way.

As I can see while the ICO is paused due to the legal confirmation from the Liechtenstein financial authorities of receiving the FMA statement that WRT is indeed a utility token, not a security one, the team of the project is spreading the promo about the WR plugin and project goals at all.
This is good as for now there are many countries and markets that could adopt this technology in the film broadcasting industry! After the attendance of Berlin and Venice film festivals, more and more press is spreading good words about the WR!
This could be one of the so rare projects nowadays that would be implemented and adopted in real life immediately after ICO!

An disadvantage may act the fact that White Rabbit do not even have any kind of prototype or demo version to showcase to potential investors. However, they provide very well-designed site with a detailed and high-quality White Paper. Moreover, it is worth noting the team of the project, which looks quite competent and has good amount of members.

What round of fundraising account does they run? 3 or 5? This topic has been around for almost a year, and the project was never able to start. Strongly you delayed the start .. I do not think that something will come out of you with 3 or 5 attempts.

It`s a pity that so cool project as WhiteRabbit backed by the full professional and mega experienced team players in the film industry has to postpone their ICO on the undefined time period, because of the slowness form the Liechtenstein FMA approval for the obvious fact that WhiteRabbit token is the utility token and not a security one! Almost a year passed since they have announced token sale/fundraising. Do u think they still have a plan to conduct an ICO?

The WR team is continuing development and equity financing at the moment. They won’t do an ICO until they have minimum beta and possibly data from test markets.

I`m confident in the future of this ICO because there is the huge market and a lot of plans of the inspired and experienced team of winniwng at least a part of this market by providing to the users quality and legal film product. Team is active in the tour around the world by attending all possible film festivals and meetups. But as to the terms of this campaign, they are still unpredictable and not defined.
