I have iota in mind. I think it will make an huge increase in 2018, but this just a feeling.

DeepOnion should obviously be in this thread.
It have all the indications of a good project, including scam accusations and envy :D
Just take a closer look and you'll see that this is a solid project, and it is still young, so it is possible to get onboard at a very low price.
There are still 18 weeks left of the airdrop as well, so approx 5% extra in there if you want.
I wouldn't wait until the airdrop is over to see how it turns out.
The price have dropped from 25k+ to 20k- sat the last couple of days, I doubt that will last, so now may be a good time.
Try to compare it to other new projects, like GoByte just to mention something, and I think you'll agree the price is low.

I agree with you, iota is one of my favourite coins and i am sure that i will be a good one during the next year.

The same goes to Cardano and Elixir, they are very good projects, probably much more better than a lot of coins that are now on the top 15 - 20, but they are under the radar.

2018 is going to be the year of Ark! I invested in it during the last dip (the dip has been lasting a couple months tbh) and i think they will release a bunch of killer products next year. Accumulating before the coin takes off is the best thing you can do right now, because when it starts its run many people will FOMO in very quickly.

i choose nxt and ripple its because in my observation in the market cap have an possible potential to grow their price value, 2018 i think altcoins will raised in the market after the bitcoin raised and boom the price in this year.

Ethereum and Litecoin seem to be good ones.

I hope more good altcoin in 2018. increase the value of it to raise a lot of money. I hope to be many more it projects.

ETH remains the best altcoin option for the rest of the year, but I just want to share my opinion with you, I think IOTA, XLM will be a good project for the next few months. you will get a pretty big profit, I say so because this is in my personal experience.

For me I'll choose ETH and LTC only :)). In my opinion these altcoins are the best altcoins for now and it'll be the same in the future, no other altcoins can be better than ETH. In the future I believe that Bitcoin can be replace by ETH only cause in only a year, ETH price has increased quickly 4 time than Bitcoin price and it'll keep increasing like that in the future:))

Usually, potential buyers are looking for a property that they can see themselves living in.

Why not? There is no problem with that. I also know about bitcoin red and as of now it also has good amount right now. Ethereum is also good, why not invest in that coin? But it is still up to you. Good luck on your investments. :)

IOTA just surpassed NEO in terms of market cap so this is just a guess but I think this will moon next year. Also, electroneum is sort of like a sleeping giant right now as they haven't got their wallets fully functional right now but the supporters are already overflowing.

Ether, litecoin, dash, bitcoincash are the onme I trust the most except bitcoin. :)

I think ETH will be my number one choice because I believe the ETH price could reach $ 1000 in early 2018 and the price could rise to $ 5,000 by the end of 2018. I'm sure this will happen because there are many developers who are eager to work with ETH

yes it's true eth seems superior in the project and the users. but ETH have to keep develop their platform or it will go wasted. For the example is the slow down of transaction of ethereum lately cause of cryptokitties. Eth seems are not ready yet to handle such quota of transaction that happen cause this platform. if ETH could develop and make their transaction faster than now. i believe it would attract many more businesses to use their platform and it will sure make the ETH price increasing.

Well there are thousands of coin and more will appear in 2018 and will gone, only few of them can survive. I have hope from GIL's

I think Escudo and Boscoin will do well in 2018 after Minexcoin already doing well. In case I forgot Electroneum also has a future.

it will still as the favorite coin for all time , and for some choices to be i may choose again with ethereum cause i believe on that coin even there is some that happen on that coin were that was normal but it my be for the list of my altcoin in 2018

I'm working on accumulating Deep Onion for the long Haul. Check their roadmap, should be an interesting year for them. Their marketing campaigns are excellent with an increasingly active community. Couple with the chart and taking into account it's ONLY listed on cryptopia right now. Probably gonna be a good one whenever they get it on some more exchanges.

In my opinion, in 2018 you can invest in early projects that have just completed the ICO phase. Among such projects, the most promising from my point of view are CyberMiles, Aeron, CarTaxi, Flixxo.

I think DeepOnion will be on the top. But, of course, I believe in Adbank ICO and their coin. That is why I wear their signature. You can learn the details from it. 

I have big hopes for Waves with the 1.0 version being released soon, and Lisk which is growing nicely.

Unfortunately we cant predict the future but  I feel like this coins can make a good profit for us in 2018: NEO, QTUM, OMG, IOTA, Wave.

For bigger coins I have ethereum and waves in my mind along with that I will also keep some bitcoin cash and some bitcoin gold in my wallet as I am seeing that they both are going to be supported by the developers and by some companies like bitmain is supporting bitcoin cash. So in that condition it is possible that the price of them will increase more higher.

By the year 2018 expect lot things to happen good with the altcoins. In specific it's expected to see good growth with the ICO tokens that are developed based on different necessity. Ethereum based tokens were expected to grow high, because ethereum is stated to be one among the altcoins of the year 2018.

Hey! My favorite coins for the 2018 year:
stratis (i hope it will recover his positions and come back to the price of 400k satosh).
waves - my biggest hopeness too, perhaps next year waves shows its potential and catch up the ethereum.
tenx - i still believe the guys straight things out and the price goes up.
etc - i prefer this coin to ETH as decentralized one.

We need to be really careful before investing in the altcoin and do our own research like which domain they will cater and what's the scope in that industry as there are some new altcoins out there to cater one particular domain like balicoin will start and that's for the tourism and Wepower WPR will be launched soon and they are into green energy and Lixcoin will be there for gaming so it's upto us to do a research and invest into the right altcoin. Just for instance i will go with Wepower WPR out of three altcoins which i have mentioned as it has more scope and growth and more realistic (all of them are token as of now and will be launched as altcoins soon).

For me ethereum had a chance to grow in the year 2018. They have a lot of potential in their coins and as their business is showing some good increase on investors including me i am still holding my ethereum because i am hoping that the priceof them will rise just like what happen to bitcoin we the holders of ethereum are holding it because of the potential the it will be as expensive as bitcoins are today because they have the same track as bitcoins before started from the bottom now on the moon.

I think bcc is just a high price but I think bitcoin is also the common use of others but at bcc it's also high priced so I still have to hold on to different coin to increase you also to others when time that bitcoin has dropped me down and I'm not losing money because I can recover it from another currency.

I think that litecoin dash and ethereum will have a great 2018 with good increase in prices as they are steadily been increasing with a good rates and have the potential to rise more than what it is now as these coins are also getting popular like bitcoins.Many people are entering this crypto market this will heavily boost many coins prices both bitcoins and altcoins so this is great time to invest in them as the prices are cheaper due to small drop in values of altcoins.

ByteBall is bound to have a remarkable 2018.  Really great dag crypto that is really ahead of the curve in terms of development.  Keep an eye on this one for the upcoming year.

I like the list but unfortunately, I don't know about ethos. I believe that ada can increase because if we take a look at coinmarketcap, ada get in the top twenty position and I am sure that ada will increase the price. but other coins will have the opportunity too to be altcoin for 2018 and we can wait for the coinmarketcap change the position.

Ethereum seems to be really good if not always can chosse LTC, currently hitted 300% it's value and seems stablished.

I agree with you about the IOTA, they have a very good development and I think 2018 is the right year for IOTA

I think in the upcoming 2018 altcoin that has a good future is Waves, MTH, ETN, ETC and XRP for seeing the development of altcoin that year is very good. so I guess this is still the right time to buy it.

I think ETH, LTC, NEO, EOS and XMR will have a great development this upcoming 2018. There were good development in these coins this year and I am hoping it will continue its steady growth the following year. Plus, its community has been lively and active lately and that's great. I'm definitely gonna invest and hold on to these coins.

Since all the altcoin do have a potential in making it big this year, I'll root to one of the popular alt coins there is which is Iota aside from etherium. Etherium is nonetheless a great alt coin since it already established a good trade with BTC.

There are a lot of choices of cryptocurrency in the market cap, and each of  us will have a different opinion about a good or potential altcoin in 2018. Based on my opinion, ethereum should be considered as a potential cryptocurrency in 2018. Ethereum is now number two, right below Bitcoin and it is famous for its smart contract platform, with a market cap of $32,157,651,120. I have no doubt about it.

I will put my money on NEO, EOS and OMG.

For me ETH will go up the near future. But I think it would be possible if ETH developers could over come their problems. If you look in the big picture, you might ask why does the ETH got low price if everybody has it? despite of its popularity why is not rising? I dont really have the idea. But I think theres a problem around the developer perspective. Anyways, for me, 2018 is for ETH. Thats an aggressive prediction though. Good luck!

In my opinion icon, aion, aelf, ven and when wanchain hits the exchange also wanchain. I believe these coins will be huge in 2018. Wanchain already has partnetships with aion and icon. Ven has a partnership with the chinese goverment but price is being kept low by whales. Everyday huge sellwalls on ven at binance. My wallet for 2018 will be these coins i just said; icon, aiom, aelf, ven and wanchain.

XVG is a good buy altcoin this 2018. It offers more secure and from what i've heard it has a great potential in crypto. Aside from the cheaper price when you buy it the market cap price rised up to  $2.5 billion.. Choose this one and you'll never regret it.

I personally have my favorite coin IOTA. It seems to me that she has an excellent technology and this coin in 2018 will show excellent results on the price increase. So I choose IOTA.
