For and addicted gambler, no amount of profit will stop them from gambling because they are addicts.

For reasonable people though this is not true and one might stop after winning a set amount of money. But there's no end of greediness.

In my case, I will stop after winning 10 BTC because I'll be too busy Driving my Porsche instead of Gambling^^

How many BTC it would take for you to quit gambling and why? Or, if any amount of BTC would make you quit gambling at all.

1 bitcoin would be enough if the price of bitcoin is already $1,000,000 or $500,000. That will be enough for me to move to another life and find another hobby or maybe I can start with that amount having some vacations first and then for business too.

I think, 5 BTC enough to stop gambling and enjoy the holiday. But I think, I think too far to get that value.  ;D

I think that I would not have too much fun gambling if I owned more than, say, 1 million euros.
Gambling seems rather pointless if you have that much money and I'm not really looking to become a high roller, gambling with a few thousand euros per bet or anything like that.

If we're talking about BTC exclusively, I think around 20 BTC should be enough ;)

Probably around 5-10 BTC I would say. Specially if the price of bitcoin is around $100K or more. LOL. We are going to be rich that its really better to just put your money in good use like buying expensive cars and houses and probably put a business to keep you busy and forgot about gambling.

Well its not bad if you are going to play from time to time, but I will definitely change my priorities in life if ever I won that amount of bitcoin.

There will always be greediness on our part, it will not end, but sometimes you need to think about your future of your families and kids. Better quit when you have enough already.

It is difficult to answer for me. Because i have no limit to earn from gambling and then i quit it. I don't want to quit gambling and especially forever. I always continue it, even if i win jackpot then also i never quit gambling. In my thinking, i don't use gambling to make bitcoins from it, i only have desire to win in gambling and play gambling.

It would be hard to make the decision. My profit target from gambling is, 1 BTC. I think that's enough but I don't even reach it at all, it has been around 1 year since I promised I will stop gambling if I got 1 BTC from gambling. If I win a certain amount of bitcoin, I immediately bet with those winning amount from my bet, again. I do not know why I don't just immediately withdraw of my profits, my greediness was affecting me to do more bet.

I'm not addicted to gambling, but If I could hit the jackpot, I wouldn't stop gambling at once because it's not about the profit, it's all about the feelings and emotions that you experience after that)

1. I am not addicted to gambling so I will never consider gambling as best way to make profit.
2. When you will win 10BTC you will get greedy for sure or when you will make 9BTC you might keep on playing to reach that 10 mark but you might also loss all of those 9BTC in the process.
3. There is no limit for gamblers, they will never satisfies with any amount of bitcoin.

Dude I have seen 50 BTC bets on Nitrogen like 2 years ago. Imagine if those guys hadn't lost or hadn't sold their profits from these betslips back then. They would have been multimillionaires. Perhaps some already are and are retired from betting spending their days sipping martinis on some sun-kissed island resort accompanied by nice exotic ladies. The dream life of a Bitcoin gambler  ;D

Yeah, I think we can't really say for certain how much bitcoins to win before we can finally say "adios" to gambling. Same case with fiat as well. Specially if you are really addicted to it, winning 5 or even 10 bitcoin is nothing for you. You will still seek that adrenaline rush that you get when playing. I remember one person who won big in our place, he didn't stop, and still went the next day and the next, until one day everything is gone. If he just quit and enjoy his life to the fullest sipping martinis and having exotic ladies at his side, LOL, he would have made him very happy. Unfortunately, the only thing is his mind is that he wants to play and no amount of money could really stop him from chasing more moolah. So its really hard to answer the OP. Personally, I wouldn't quit as well.  ;D

True, the number can be changed from time to time. As a human, we will never satisfy with what we've got. But personally I have a plan to do other stuff if I had 5 BTC or more therefore I maybe will stop gambling at that point.

For few people its not the money which attracts them all alone to gamble. So even if they get more money, they will come and play with there gifted Bitcoins. About my personal views, I also don't think some terms for quitting Gambling would be of any help as I enjoy gambling, I come very rarely nowadays and also my input is restricted and very small per day.

I agree, The last time I gambled on Primedice, I lost all my profit thanks to my greediness.
Deposited 0.7 BTC (this was back in 2016) gambled a bit safely, reached ~0.9 BTC, Was quite excited seeing my profit and how close I was to get a whole figure of 1 BTC, I kept on going just as to get the figure of 1 BTC, and you can guess the result.

My account now has a -0.7132 BTC profit  :)

50-100BTC will do for me to quit gambling and I'll be also happy to drive my own car that I wish to buy but the price of bitcoin should range from $15,000 onwards.

Is depend on that people itself, for me before we play gambling must set the budget, if not will lose more money.
Example : you can set 20 BTC for your budget to play. Is depend on your capacity to play it.

maybe for myself no amount of victory that will stop me to gamble. but I only target a small number to cover my expenses on those. well until now I still gamble and it rotates in every day. although sometimes I lose a number of unexpected.

20 BTC is going to be sufficient for the rest of my life. I have other ways to live and this will be just put into my savings+investment so I don't have to worry with my daily living, this will be enough for me to quit gambling forever but I don't know if this will also tempt me to have a pinch on that amount.

Yep. 20BTC is too big as of now, Even 10BTC is enough for me for the rest of my life. At this current rate, That is greater to the total amount of my salary that I will earn for 20 years of work. In my personal experience, I stop gambling not because I win BIG amount but after I lose a huge amount. Is it impossible for a gambler to stop at a profit streak. It is very rare scenario were on profit gambler stop gambling.

Well, that depends on the individual. There are a lot of Gambling addicts tend to stop when they already engage in a life and death situations. Though I partially agree that it's hard for an addict to stop such addiction, It may take them a lot of efforts and time for them to overcome it.


Greed is already part of our human nature and most likely it's impossible for us to remove it in our system. Even how responsible a person is there would be a time that Greed will somehow enter the picture and definitely will help it to lose our control over ourselves.


It's easy to say than done, most likely before I could reach that kind amount of money there would be a chance that I will lose more than I'll ever want. Though 20 BTC would be enough. I could start up a small business with that amount and somehow I already have secured my family's future.

20 BTC, maybe ? Well, i lost so much money on gambling in the last 5 years. If i can win 20 bitcoins or even more on gambling, maybe i will quit gambling forever. I think 20-40 bitcoins is enough for cover all my loses on gambling in the last 5 years. Tbh i don't think i can't leave gambling even i win 20btcs.

Forever stopped from gambling I think 1 Bitcoin is enough, and from 1 Bitcoin I will use for business capital. so I can have a busy life in my place of business, and I also will not come back to play gambling anymore.

Then you'll back gamble after you have spent the winning on your holiday. I think addicted gambler will never stop even though he/she has just won so huge amount. Probably he/she will stop for a while only to enjoy the winning on something else then will back gamble sooner/later. It is just hard to stop gambling once you are addicted.

I think winning wont make anyone stop gambling, winning is going to make the gambler become more greedy and addicted, when you win 10 btc you  wont be buying porsche, but you  will think to double it again, so there are no winning  amount that will stop people from gambling, the one that can make people stop gambling is the losing amount

for me i can honestly say im not an addict gambler because i dont gamble oftenly. i mainly gamble once for every two weeks and sometimes once every month. i only quit gambling if i already double my balance , i dont set a specific amount to stop rather i only stop if i manage to win my bets in a single play. quitting gambling forever would be very hard for most of us , because gambling is not bad at all as long as you know your limits and its a heck fun and exciting because theres a money involved.

This has been a big question for me over this year. In February it would of probably been 100 BTC, but then I was also gambling for over 1 BTC / day. Today it is completely different though and I'm probably there with you on right around 10 BTC would be enough. I would probably just cash out half of it to travel a bit and keep the other half to invest accordingly :).

Yeah, I would imagine it would take a lot of wealth for me to pick up new hobbies, that would probably mean I have no more time to gamble. If I had a million euros, though, the immediate use would be for two homes, one for myself and another for my family. Nice ones without being immodest, I'd say about 300k would be gone to that (including a maintenance fund for the next 25 years). Then to enjoy the world and all that I'd probably use that all up in the next five years, or choose to use it for the rest of my life, in which case I wouldn't have new expensive hobbies and still want to gamble.

But if some guy came up to me and asked this, I'd ask for 100 BTC. I'd probably end up taking even 5 BTC, to be honest. Any less and I'd be hesitant. I'm learning to gamble responsibly as I age, I do enjoy sportsbetting especially and who the hell doesn't look forward to poker night with friends, right?

If I had to pick a number of Bitcoins to completely quit gambling, it would be 10BTC. Although not for money or profit, I would still come down by casinos or sport books to place a few wagers, just to enjoy the thrills of the game. With enough money, I can keep myself engaged throughout the day doing various activities instead of having that 'gamble to win money' feeling in the back of my head.

It’s all relative really isn’t it.  I wouldn’t say I gamble that much to be honest, more of a passive thing to while away time every now and then so I haven’t actually spent that much on gambling. Therefore, it’s a really small threshold.  Considering my portfolio at the moment, say if I lost 1 BTC, I would definitely quit gambling for good.  Of course that’s because I don’t have much of it, if I had loads of BTC then 1 BTC would be a relatively small amount in the grand scheme of things.

Indeed, due to the recent rise of bitcoins, the amount of bitcoins you would lose before you quite is subjective to the current price of bitcoins. Probably the best would just be to equate it in terms of dollars or fiat since it is much more stable than bitcoin prices.

With the current price, I would say that if I lose 5 bitcoins in gambling I would never try to roll a dice ever again.

To be honest I want to quit gambling already but I can't, I just really can't help myself but when it comes to these type of conditions then 30 BTC will give me happiness to quit gambling forever. I promise that and I'll take look back at it though that will be enough to gamble again for a year or more.  ;D

I agree on the thing that theres no really end of greediness as long we do know that we do have still money to spent on which means setting a particular amount before you quit would really be destined to be broken because urge of playing gambling would really be there specially when you are already an addicted one.Even on myself cant really give an amount because as long i do have the money to spent on i will play gambling but only on moderation.

I think it will depend on the attitude of a person because for a professional gamblers money will not matter I believe no amount will make them stop gambling but for a normal person like me who do not do gambling frequently $100 loss is material and would probably will trigger me to stop gambling. It is very hard to earn bitcoin and now that the value keeps dropping losing my bitcoin in gambling will really make me feel so disappointed

Me i already quit in gambling even i do not get huge amount of bitcoin because i know addiction will lead to loose all my money and its hard to get back the money. Gambling is not a good way to earn money i think all of us know that it is only for fun.

Before i am to win 12BTC i always do parlay in sports betting but i am not lucky enough all my bets are lossing that is why early i decide to stop and focus in other method.

I am really not a fan of gambling that's why when I try it once and lose my earnings from a faucetvby betting them all in high and low game I decided right away not to engage to gambling anymore even some of my friends are really lucky to earn bitcoin I think that's not my way in becoming rich or should I say I'm not like them who can win good from gambling I better save and start having my own business that's a more sense to do

The problem with people and gambling, is no amount is enough to make them stop, greed is a sin that is in our nature and if don't,r control it will consume us, if go into gambling with a mindset that you will stop after you win you are going to come back and try again because you get blinded by the fact of how easy it is to make the money you win, and always come back for more until eventually your luck runs out and you lose what you have got, so people telling that they will stop at a certain amount is a lie.

With your Porsche, other rich people will be socializing with you and you would need money to be able to keep up with them. At first it's all good because you still have some money left. On the other hand, this life will go on because you are going to enjoy it and you wouldn't want it any other way. Of course if this actually happened to you, you will have some resistance to gamble because you would want to stand for your words.

You are just human and being human means having insatiable desires. You might say that you're going to be content with 10BTC and the things that you can buy with that amount of money but let me tell you something, once you're in that situation, your human instincts will kick in and you will continue to gamble. You're not greater than your human instincts unless you have trained long enough to be in control of them.

I'm not an addicted gambler and I don't gamble at all. Maybe just at times when I want to but I honestly think that it's a waste of time so I stopped gambling. But, that doesn't remove my knowledge about some basics of psychology and knowing that I'm just a human being with human instincts is one of them. I think some people might gamble even more once they have made tons of money from gambling.

I think one of the most distinct characteristic of a gambler is that they would never have enough; they would keep on going even if they don't have anything left. So when it comes to counting how much Bitcoin it would take a gambler to stop gambling forever, I think it can take them more than 50 Bitcoins (when the rate of Bitcoins is not as high) to do so or just even 1 (when 1 Bitcoin equates to a million or so). Maybe if they did have those amount of Bitcoin, it would make gambling more of a habit for them since they are just doing it solely for entertainment since they don't need the money, but nonetheless, I really think it depends on the perception of the person on when he's had enough.

It is already stated by you that addicted gambler so, I think no one will leave gambling this way. In fact the greed will increase more if you earn 10 BTC, you may not come for a month or so for gambling but after sometime when your earned money will become less due to spendings, you will once again come to earn more. Man basically is greedy, greed is a part of nature which can't be controlled by money. If you want to overcome you probably need something else to control it and give up.

I wouldn't quit gambling completely even if I won the JackPot biggest prize, because I don't play exclusively for profit and to become rich, but to have some fun. The difference is that after winning a big prize I wouldn't gamble online anymore, I would travel to the nice cities in the world to play on the land based casinos there with all confort I could have. Those playing to become rich will become poorer than they are now.

Most people that are currently gambling are addicted to it or they do it for fun. I think we should seeing gambles as not a cajole kind of Investment as to me no matter amount you give me and other gamblers they will still be gambling as the is also a force driving them to gamble. However to say as human, if I can get 20btc I will stop to gamble and this money will be invested in off-line business.

I don't think anyone would stop when you reached that certain amount because if you have achieved the goal in mind, then you would immediately think that you could still earn more and that's how people lose their winnings. I and I have experienced that kind of mistake in my gambling days, but now I just trade.

If anyone have the enough bitcoin in his hand why he will quit gambling forever. Gambling is a passion for lot of gamblers they will life without family but not live without gambling it is some type of addiction only we cannot come out of it even billion dollar if a gambler is having he wont stop gambling.

It depends to the lifestyle we are living but I want to secure this for the rest of my life. I want to retire earlier than others and I just want to enjoy life with this amount. No need to work with a hectic schedule and at the same time I also overcome my gambling addiction.

I think one bitcoin is so less, you must be going for at least 5-6 bitcoins because only then things can be okay for you. I know some of you then say it is greed, trust me it is not greed. It is just a matter of fact that gambling is so attractive, although it is false one, but this attraction don’t allow the mind of gamblers to even think out of the box. So for them only, this number is justice. 

If you've been addicted to gambling, whatever Bitcoin you have, you'll definitely use it for gambling. Maybe not for a while, but the desire of the addiction will lead you to go back to gambling. Im a greedy person so if i were to win a jackpot lets say about 100-500 bitcoin i would definitely quit gambling and live a luxurious life, that amount of money can take me to places a i have never been and would take away my attention from gambling to touring around the world.

It's not the right idea from you that this forum is associated with gambling. Because in relations to that gambling concerns the ideas from people around here might help people realize that betting isn't good if done for long time. To give suggestions, we don't need lots of bitcoins in order to quit gambling immediately, but instead divertions to other profitable investments is better rather than you continue betting.

I think it's very difficult to pick a certain number, why I'll tell you. Give a gambler money to live his life king size and he'll definitely gamble the very next moment he gets to gamble. Gambling and gambler can't stay away from each other for long. They just have to gamble, and it's a fact that we gambler's won't ever stop lol. Well, dude, I feel sorry for you. I got total of about 0.3 BTC from losing and keep losing time to time. Feeling lucky & greedy is not bring you to win the game, just say, 'I must stop it, I have enough of profits.' you will bring full of bucks to go home, mate. Well you probably would've lost all your earnings, savings, investments and properties before you can come up with an amount to stop you. Personally, i won't be anywhere close to 1btc to know that i need to stop.

I think I would never stop gambling even if I won big amount, simply because I like it and I can manage my bankroll wisely. So if I win big amount, I will still continue gambling with the same bankroll management without adding extra bankroll because I have more money.
Gambling is just a way to get some entertainment for me, so I will never regret every single cents that I lose on gambling because I'm ready for the lost before start gambling.

I'm reading this with only few people. Majority of the gamblers here has their own preferred amount of bitcoin to take just to quit gambling forever. If gambling is your passion and entertainment, it's you and your choice. But even you grow old, you'll still consider to gamble? You don't plan to stop and look for some other way to have some fun?

I dont think if anyone who gets a substantial amount of bitcoins just out of gambling will ever want to quit. Because there is possibilitu for more.

No matter whatever the prices are of bitcoins, i dont think this will stop people from wanting to acquire more and more bitcoins. Recently the prices were at its best high, how many of the users encashed their bitcoin and forgot it?

Definetely non. Because this is human nature that we tend to desire for more and more. And in case of gambling, where you are winning just like that without any physical stress, you would never want to quit it. And keep testing your luck all the time.

Most likely if I win 10 Bitcoin or a 100 Bitcoin i will still gamble, I gamble just  for fun and I am sure i wont spend even the 10% of that winning on gambling.

In this thread OP is talking only about winnings to stop gambling but if they don't win that 10 BTC then when going to stop gambling? You should also set some limit for your losses as well to avoid losing all your money in gambling.

What he is telling means if he wins 10 or 100 he won't stop playing gambling that means there is no limit. He loves to play gambling. But it is not easy like how he said. After winning a big amount like 10 BTC, nobody is ready to lose 1 BTC this is a real fact.

I think I do not need to measure how much will I spend in my gambling activities since I am just playing for fun not to have a profit. Also, I am playing in a lot of gambling sites that do not need money or to deposit money, you can play using their faucet. It may be a small amount still, I am gambling without any expenses and loses, just my time though.

Even on my situation if i do win up 10 or 100 i would secure it and wont tend to lose up again even on 1 btc amount but well we do know there are really people who are greedy that would play those amounts again hoping that they would able to generate even more bitcoin but the sad fact they are just wasting their profits and giving it back to the house itself.

I'm not quit to gambling, even if i have already many bitcoins that i have. Because gambling helps me to increase my skills and strategy. It would not means that you have a lot of bitcoins you will stop, but you should continue it. I will not quit gambling because it gives you profit, but you just need to control yourself don't be greedy. The reasons why we gamble because we earn easily, and if i already many bitcoins i will keep for savings and continue gambling.

Ill be contented if i win 5btc in gambling im not going to gamble anymore because 5btc is enough to pay my debts and to build a business of my own.

What is the point of having some skills and strategy on gambling? You do not get anything right unless keep on getting profit, that is only if we assume you are winning again and again but hownyou are losing? Are you going to keep on gambling? Point is to understand that gambling isn't just winning and making profit. I will never stop with gambling too, I can just gamble more or less depending on how much money I have for spending on fun. Stopping with all gambling activities coming from people who lost a lot of money, and they wish to win big andbquit once it for all, but many of us enjoy in gambling, and we know that winning and losing is the part of the game. I won more then I lost and I would like to have more money and to be able to gamble like a high roller one day, to bet big and to feel how is that.

I think I wont stop gambling, 10 btc winning its just going to stop my gambling activity for a while, but the more I win the less I will play, I will be busy travelling around the world, when I bored, I will be back to gambling again, gambling is too much fun, I am not willing to let it go yet

I plan to build a business if i earn good here in crypto then if my plan is going good in the future i will help some poor people in my country so i think it's hard but i will try to do it and i stop if i already rich to help many people.I think also to do a farm and i will open many jobs for many people in that,my dream is to help other person in life so i will never stop to do hardwork to earn money to help,i think i believe even a little by little i will still try to help other,i never stop in gambling until i become rich.

I think i will be home and dry with 200 bitcoins and above, at the current rate, i think that should make me a millionaire in US Dollars and i wouldn't look back to gambling again if i ever win such an amount somehow.

I think 100 BTC should do it. with that 100 BTC, i could do a lot of things like investing, buying a house or open my own company/business. i would probably open my own company/business and get busy with it and never think of gambling again.

Unlimited amount of the Bitcoins would take for me to quit gambling forever. I am the kind of the gambler that plays for the entertainment. For me, my winnings are not expected. If I lose or win I don't grieve in the end cause I am always entering the gamble rooms with the limited bankroll. I have a steady job in my life and I don't depend on the Bitcoins in the casinos. Gambling is my escape from the stressful reality and not the mean for the earnings. Anywhere from 100 Bitcoins and upwards , i think i can be really set out for a glorious life with my family and all that matter because we will be millionaires and can afford almost anything that will be good  for our livelihood. It's impossible to stop gambling especially if you've won so much Bitcoin. On the other hand, most people only stop when they have got nothing left.

While I agree with you that you should probably bet for your own entertainment and not care too much about the profits. But there has to be some amount that would move you away from it all, making you focus on other things for entertainment. Somewhere in the back of your mind I'm sure that you do gamble to win something, otherwise you could just gamble with play money or play something else for the excitement. It's a fine line though that you have to figure out for yourself :).

There is no certain amount of bitcoins would it takes before to quitting in gambling forever because  being addicted in gamblings is hard to control ourself in times of gambling especially in casino or poker games.but  for me the best things to fully controlled or quits in gambling forever is to  empty your mind and yourself in the world of gambling site's and make a vacation including your family to go in other  place  and refresh your mind to be born  again and away with all temptation and lastly the best is prayer.

Great, I agree on your opinion dude. Being addicted in gambling is not easy, if possible you need to go in rehabilitation in order to control your attitude. Well, that is normal most of us to do such gambling which cause on our greediness. On my part, if I could have a bitcoin in order to stop betting I'm happy to have at least 3 to 5BTC which I start to planned such business in order to continue my financial aspects.

You are right, I don't think that people they didn't have any greed about money, even too bit greed. So even a gambler win a huge amount that he can live with it in the whole life, they want more.

Yeah, it is impossible that people stop or quit gambling if they already achieve their desire from it. Even i think gamblers play gambling more becasue they have earned from it and in gambling usually gamblers have no limitation to quit gambling in the winning stage. The reason Gamblers have no least stage of greediness.

Intentions on making money or greed is really limitless which we cant really put out or set out limitations on when we would able to stop because it cant really be avoided that kind of urge on playing even more because if we do win it do sums up even more which would really break our limitations on playing which would end up on resulting into severe addiction and coming to a point even yourself wont able to get out of it.

I will quit gambling after winning just 2 bitcoins because in my country one bitcoin worth about 1600000 and it is a bit amount and I can start any regular business from these 3 bitcoins. Well 10btc is enough for me. As of now I'm still aiming for 1btc and eventually aiming for more until 10btc. This goal is really interesting and challenging. For many people it becomes too late before they realize that they have already lost the hug money in the gambling and they have actually left with not much choice but to quit gambling. I guess no amount of Bitcoins are good enough for someone to quite gambling. Because greed is an universal condition. Even the richest among the billionaires still want more money for themselves. None , since i don't gamble with bitcoins at all . I valuate my coins , especially bitcoin , more than to gamble with it because i consider it as a waste of potential . I only gamble with fiat even tho that can't be done in the total secrecy and anonymity such as done in bitcoin casinos . But i prefer gambling with fiat that hasn't  a high fluctuation rate than gambling with a coin that can be 20 times worth in just 1 year or less .

Yes, no one can stop to gamble even he had achieved what he wanted to achieve from gambling in his life because the greed for more never allows them to sit at their place and they rely upon gambling to meet their basic life needs and for that, they simply move forward to gambling when they face financial crisis. That's the thing that we need to work on if we are gambling all the time. The greediness inside of us is the only thing that comes between profit and loss. I agree with you because man is in the hunger of money. Everyone wants to become richer than he is in the present state and for that, people commit a lot of big sins and they don’t even notice what they are doing with other people. They simply need money and for that they can do anything beyond the limits they have set for them. People return back to gambling no matter how much they have made from it because they rely on it for all of their needs.

From what you have said,i realized that even a person who  has already a certain big amount of money this idea won't make him stop from gambling.People has no satisfaction in all the achievements he's gaining so the more he had at the present,the greater the chances that he will aspire for more.Literally it's not the amount of money that matters,its the attitude towards it on how he can get away from gambling.Once a person is focused on his goal,then eventually he will get a positive result in the end.

Probably I will stop gambling if I have around 50-100 BTC for my winnings. That would be enough for me to quit and focus on building my own house and my moms' dream house too, and that amount of money would also be enough to pay for my daughters' tuition fees from high school up until college. People might find a hard time to quit gambling specially when they hold much money, so I think having a huge amount of bitcoin can't help you to quit gambling. If you really want to stop gambling the first thing you should do is to control yourself which people forgot to do so. Well everybody will quit at some point if they lose enough money. I don't think anyone would risk everything just to continue gambling. For sure the only ones that would lose everything are the ones that are really addicted to gambling. I think it's ok to just get 1 bitcoin and hold it until the price rises because today's only big money is that 1bitcoin I earn on gambling and if ever I get it it stops me gambling as it gets I've also asked for this money, but it's far from happening because it's worth a big investment to get 1bitcoin out of your life but I'll try to get it as well as it will get you.

It's not bad to play like you're rich but what's worse is that you're rich but you are not humble or brags in front of everyone about it. As I think that gambling is just to have some fun, but remembering how much I lose last year makes me lonely, though from that time btc is worth

Looking on how I bet and my realistic expectation about my style of play I must say that 3-5 BTC would be enough for me to stop gambling and that winning won't be earned during one sitting as I bet small around .01BTC to .15BTC. 3-5 BTC would be a huge boost to my financial position as I can start a good business with it and can really help me to start a better life. I think greed can never be erased as it is natural thing. But as you said, one can control his greed if can’t finish it at all because control is something that totally depends on the person himself.

Yep.. I've been gambling for the better part of the past 10 years and I've won a lot of money over the time, big wins and small wins. I've never thought of completely quitting after one of those big wins. I usually want to continue and get another one of the big wins or more than it :D.

50BTC is a lot of money even at the current prices, with that amount of money I will not only quit my gambling I will also quit my job and retire, that is a huge fortune and if bitcoin reached 50k then I will be set for the rest of my life and never have to lift a finger or perform any other job.

I do think that those real gambler addicts who are really into gambling are really hard for them to stop gambling, even if they get 100BTC or more they still will not stop because as you said greediness is always there. One can only stop from gambling and be being addicted when they change themselves for the better and not because of the money. I would say that I would quit already once I lose like about something worth $20,000. That might not be something big for a high roller, but that's like a life savings for small people. I guess that question should change it to dollars, as the BTC equivalent will always change through time and it would change drastically when prices change as well.

I do not think that I would stop gambling  because I won or lost this amount of Bitcoin.  Having a stress reliever is priceless because money can't buy us this thing even though we need money to be able to use gambling to remove stress.  It is the fun and entertainment that does it.  For me having gambling as one option to remove my daily jobs stress.. Are you sure that you would stop gambling? So you truly see gambling as a way of earning money? If that is so you're cool, but I think most people start like that, they think about the amount they'll reach someday and stop gambling, but it never ends. And I think it's not only about greediness, I think gamblers might have serious, like, physical addiction, because as they play their organisms product and release adrenaline, which frequently comes along with endorphines and that causes euphoria and people just can't stop themselves.

Gambling is not fun; you can lose all your savings to enjoy this fun. 10 or 100 bitcoin is nothing in front of gambling. When you are addict of gambling you will lose everything. Better to stop when you feel that now it is going into debts. Don’t empty your pocket while gambling if you gamble just for fun. I play ludo for fun in free times with my friends without money but when we bet then it is not fun.

I don’t understand this because you are telling us that you gamble just for fun and money is not important but to get the pleasure. Is it fun if you will lose a lot of money? ? You say that you are gambling for fun and will never stop. If I have just 2 bitcoins I will never gamble because 2 bitcoin is a huge amount in my country and I can start s small business with this money. I will never lose such a big money in gambling.

No more reason for them to quit enough as a gambler person. They just enjoying what they're doing. It's because they are addicted and non-stop daily working on their habbit. I lost 500k satoshis in a hi-lo game and I never came back. The reason is not because my lost is enough is because I'm awaken to the fact that I just tried my luck and it will not end up in a good way if I still continue.

Almost 99.99% of gamblers do quit like you and I have not heard from any gambler who had quit with the reason of making enough money for his life. When gambling is not providing room for making money then how we can expect to make money for not gambling forever.

I guess OP's question is a complete mythical as it is not based on any relevant incidents. I am an occasional gambler before who use to lose more than amount I win after of about half a year gambling and realizing how much value in fiat all the btc I lose in gambling already if I just keep them safe in my wallet that became one reason why I stopped and as of now I just keeping myself watching graphs on trading sites and growing my btc little by little and doing microtask in exchange of coins to trade for btc.

For addicted gambler I don't think so that they will stop gambling whether they win or not. It has been part of their life.

Same with you, I'll stop if I got 10 BTC earning not only by means of gambling but all of my bitcoin resources like trading, investment, etc. I think it is more than enough for me to have my own business, to have lots of mining rig, and let my children study till college and have a vacation. All of these are my dreams that will come true if I got 10 BTC or more.

I will stop once I reach 100 BTC with current FIAT price. That would be 1.5 mln dollars and I would be very happy to never gamble again or ever visit a casino again. I can start my own business, buy the house I always wanted, be my own boss, and keep a part in bank as savings. Why to continue to gamble when you have the lifestyle you always wanted ?

I started to gamble at 2016 of december and I think it is almost 2 months then I stop playing. I came up to a decision that I will never to gamble again because every time I play I always lose and I didn't even won that big. I guess the highest amount I earn is about $2 and after that I stop playing.

I think my answer on this is it depends on the value of Bitcoin because we have to admit that its value when converted in US Dollars is determinative of how much it really is. Simply put, its monetary equivalent in US Dollar is the ultimate measure of Bitcoin's price. Hence, from there I will decide when to stop.

Likewise, I cannot say when I will ever quit in gambling because I can never predict what is going to happen in the far future. One moment the stocks are bad, then it greatly improves in your favor hence you gamble because you are quite certain you will win.

Honestly, I would stop gambling if I won 10 bitcoins. That would be enough for me to live a happy life. But if I ended up wasting all of my 10 bitcoins, I surely would gamble again.

I will definitely stop if i win 10 bitcoins at a go and hold them until i have a clear cut business plan to work with that amount of money. It's just greed in my opinion that leads many to commit such gambling mistakes and n don't know when to give up and start afresh.

10 BTC isnt too much for you to live a happy life unless if you do live on a country on which dollar value is high or lets say on 3rd world countries then its possible for this kind of amount which you would really be hesitant on spending these coins again once you have win it on a certain game but we cant really avoid the fact that greed will always come after a win which we do crave even more on winning.

I don't think that all gamblers do it as if this situation is easy for them to let go playing gambling. Since bitcoin is the coins and valuable coin and if you have 100 bitcoin you really are one of the rich person in the earth but a gambler is a gamber no matter what he have money or property he have if he is addicted on playing gambling he never quit just only for his properties and money. If one person really want to quit gambling he is responsible on it to take the risk and face rhe challenge.

If you think that you can do it, I suggest you do but still understand the risk because there are a lot of people who have done things like that and failed to capitalize on the profits they have gained because they played again. Whatever the strategy you do as long as you win, it doesn't matter, right? Know when to stop is an important thing.

If I get 1000 bitcoin it is enough for me to quit in gambling, because its enough for me to provide and build business for my future together with my family. I know it is high amount for now and for the others but regarding with the cost of living it is enough to support your 2 years life.

I will quit gambling if l have a 100 bitcoin. It's enough for me to start business and my house and lot with car do that l have a stable income for my kids future. I'm a single mom  so l have to prepare for my kids needs, because lm not at them forever. I have to teach them how to earn money, that without me they will live on their own. I have to make them strong so that that will not easily give up in life.

Greediness is the most common thing that will occur to gambler. When they have 1 BTC they want 2 BTC and so on. The thing that will halt people from gambling is when they have no money anymore. If for example we had a plan to stop gambling when we reach a specific amount of money, there is a chance for us to change our plan as our target exceeded.

The moment you reach that goal how sure you are that you will not tempted to do gambling, your mindset might be different that time because think of it, you have much money now meaning you can gamble all the way and guess what because of this you will be back to zero. 100 bitcoin is enough for me to quit in bitcoin, because its good enough for me start a business that will give us a stable income for my kids. I will make my business a big-time business before l will go for the lust of the eyes in this world. I have to assure first the needs of yours.

I doubt people can really do that, gambling always force you to become a real greedy person. Once you have achieved what you want, you would set a new higher target and so on. The pressure are so real when it comes to gambling and the way of making money there , too easy and you want the same thing repeatedly.

I wouldn't think of it like this. Gambling shouldn't be considered as a way of making a living. The inherent nature of gambling is that the odds are always against you. It is a business to make money. There isn't a real way to win unless you have some sort of inside information.

Gambling should be considered as an event or activity that you enjoy with friends/family and don't take too seriously. You should never go into gambling thinking you will win, because the opposite is reality... you always lose in the end.

You don't think Bitcoin will be worth $500,000 someday? Well it used to be worth nothing and now one is worth over $10,000. I'm pretty sure that is solid proof that it has potential to go above $500,000.

Actually, BTC is deflationary by nature. That means the price will always go up as people lose their coins inevitably.

In my case, i play gambling not for profit, but if i have an idea in my mind that how many bitcoins i need to stop the gambling, then of course 10 is enough for me to quit gambling at all. But now i have no any this type of idea in my mind for quit gambling, becasue in real, no one give me 10 bitcoins to quit gambling. 

If we quit bitcoin gambling then we demand bitcoin, and i think 5 or 10 both are enough to quit gambling. But question is that who will give us 5 or 10 bitcoins to quit for it?
Definitely we should earn from gambling, and it is impossible for everyone to earn 5 or 10 bitcoins, except if we win a jackpot.

Thats the reality where achieving those amounts would only be possible on hitting jackpots or do have huge odds on playing gambling but come to think off that we do still need to risk big amounts of money for us to get the chance on winning big prizes too which its really very a hard thing.This is why gambling business is really making out most of money to these gamblers who do have these aims and discontentment of money will always push us to our limits.

Also, there are exceptions to what you initially mentioned regarding the "need to risk big amounts of money to get the chance on winning big prizes too".  Like for instance this pal of mine who just bet his 0.5 BTC, and came out with 5 BTC in an instant. Yes, you may say he only got lucky and I agree with that one too. But please do not discount the fact that he also used his intelligence and skills to acquire such amount in one betting/trading alone. It does not necessarily follow that for you to be able to get the chance of winning big, you have to risk big amounts. Sometimes it goes with your strategy and manner in gambling.

Gambling is just a game.So don't get excited if you won and don't depressed if you had lost. If I had won 15bitcoin from my low investment, I surely quit this.Everyone in this forum had busy with their real life business, so may be they don't have much time to play gambling.

It took me more than 0.4 bitcoin but finally i was able to quit i still feel this amount is really low than what others have lost , the reason i stopped was because of increase in price of bitcoin i hope other people also realize this and stop gambling no matter how many bitcoin you have lost it never late

I do not think that one can give such a figure for which he consider as enough  to stop gambling after getting such amount of money. If you are playing gambling for fun and entertainment they why you  need 10 bitcoins that is such a big amount of money to stop gambling. To me i will never like to put my money in risk only for getting fun and entertainment.

To me i think i have a very different situation here, I know that after making a big amount of money i will increase my gambling activity, i will surely increase my limit of playing gambling which i have already set for myself. Because i know that after making money i will become more confident and then i will like to continue playing gambling even with some more money.

Its a different story since you are already talking about trading and other means of betting which do require skills and knowledge which is entirely a different thing compared on playing gambling games which do fully require pure luck. This would really depend what thing you are engaging too and i agree on the thing that there are situations which cant be considered to be part or included on "risk big,win big" which there are things that can be handled depending on how done such things.

For me, once I start or would receive a bitcoin that would be enough for me to start my own company or business venture and be able to support my family by buying them a permanent house and other things for their future then I would be able to go on with my life and not play a single game of gambling and would just focus on my business venture instead

I think if we talk about how many bitcoin then the answer will be unlimited because we want to collect many bitcoin so we can sell bitcoin at the high price. besides that, if we have much of bitcoin, we don't have to sell all of our bitcoin but we can sell at 1 bitcoin only because with 1 bitcoin, we can buy many things. and for me, maybe 10 bitcoin is not enough to makes me quit gambling forever because sometimes I still playing gambling to have fun with my friends.
