For and addicted gambler, no amount of profit will stop them from gambling because they are addicts.

For reasonable people though this is not true and one might stop after winning a set amount of money. But there's no end of greediness.

It is already stated by you that addicted gambler so, I think no one will leave gambling this way. In fact the greed will increase more if you earn 10 BTC, you may not come for a month or so for gambling but after sometime when your earned money will become less due to spendings, you will once again come to earn more. Man basically is greedy, greed is a part of nature which can't be controlled by money. If you want to overcome you probably need something else to control it and give up.

I wouldn't quit gambling completely even if I won the JackPot biggest prize, because I don't play exclusively for profit and to become rich, but to have some fun. The difference is that after winning a big prize I wouldn't gamble online anymore, I would travel to the nice cities in the world to play on the land based casinos there with all confort I could have. Those playing to become rich will become poorer than they are now.

Most people that are currently gambling are addicted to it or they do it for fun. I think we should seeing gambles as not a cajole kind of Investment as to me no matter amount you give me and other gamblers they will still be gambling as the is also a force driving them to gamble. I don't think anyone would stop when you reached that certain amount because if you have achieved the goal in mind, then you would immediately think that you could still earn more and that's how people lose their winnings. I and I have experienced that kind of mistake in my gambling days, but now I just trade.

20 BTC is going to be sufficient for the rest of my life. I have other ways to live and this will be just put into my savings+investment so I don't have to worry with my daily living, this will be enough for me to quit gambling forever but I don't know if this will also tempt me to have a pinch on that amount.

Yep. 20BTC is too big as of now, Even 10BTC is enough for me for the rest of my life. At this current rate, That is greater to the total amount of my salary that I will earn for 20 years of work. In my personal experience, I stop gambling not because I win BIG amount but after I lose a huge amount. Is it impossible for a gambler to stop at a profit streak. It is very rare scenario were on profit gambler stop gambling.

It depends to the lifestyle we are living but I want to secure this for the rest of my life. I want to retire earlier than others and I just want to enjoy life with this amount. No need to work with a hectic schedule and at the same time I also overcome my gambling addiction.

Im a greedy person so if i were to win a jackpot lets say about 100-500 bitcoin i would definitely quit gambling and live a luxurious life, that amount of money can take me to places a i have never been and would take away my attention from gambling to touring around the world.

It's not the right idea from you that this forum is associated with gambling. Because in relations to that gambling concerns the ideas from people around here might help people realize that betting isn't good if done for long time. To give suggestions, we don't need lots of bitcoins in order to quit gambling immediately, but instead divertions to other profitable investments is better rather than you continue betting.

I think it's very difficult to pick a certain number, why I'll tell you. Give a gambler money to live his life king size and he'll definitely gamble the very next moment he gets to gamble. Gambling and gambler can't stay away from each other for long. They just have to gamble, and it's a fact that we gambler's won't ever stop lol. If I have to pick a number maybe satoshi's coin would do the trick for me.

True, the number can be changed from time to time. As a human, we will never satisfy with what we've got. But personally I have a plan to do other stuff if I had 5 BTC or more therefore I maybe will stop gambling at that point.

I agree, The last time I gambled on Primedice, I lost all my profit thanks to my greediness.
Deposited 0.7 BTC (this was back in 2016) gambled a bit safely, reached ~0.9 BTC, Was quite excited seeing my profit and how close I was to get a whole figure of 1 BTC, I kept on going just as to get the figure of 1 BTC, and you can guess the result.

Well, dude, I feel sorry for you. I got total of about 0.3 BTC from losing and keep losing time to time. Feeling lucky & greedy is not bring you to win the game, just say, 'I must stop it, I have enough of profits.' you will bring full of bucks to go home, mate. Well you probably would've lost all your earnings, savings, investments and properties before you can come up with an amount to stop you. Personally, i won't be anywhere close to 1btc to know that i need to stop.

I think I would never stop gambling even if I won big amount, simply because I like it and I can manage my bankroll wisely. So if I win big amount, I will still continue gambling with the same bankroll management without adding extra bankroll because I have more money.
Gambling is just a way to get some entertainment for me, so I will never regret every single cents that I lose on gambling because I'm ready for the lost before start gambling.

I'm reading this with only few people. Majority of the gamblers here has their own preferred amount of bitcoin to take just to quit gambling forever. If gambling is your passion and entertainment, it's you and your choice. But even you grow old, you'll still consider to gamble? You don't plan to stop and look for some other way to have some fun?

I dont think if anyone who gets a substantial amount of bitcoins just out of gambling will ever want to quit. Because there is possibilitu for more.

No matter whatever the prices are of bitcoins, i dont think this will stop people from wanting to acquire more and more bitcoins. Recently the prices were at its best high, how many of the users encashed their bitcoin and forgot it?

Definetely non. Because this is human nature that we tend to desire for more and more. And in case of gambling, where you are winning just like that without any physical stress, you would never want to quit it. And keep testing your luck all the time.

Most likely if I win 10 Bitcoin or a 100 Bitcoin i will still gamble, I gamble just  for fun and I am sure i wont spend even the 10% of that winning on gambling.
