Title: Help me "can i do something about unconfirmed transactions"
Post by: TOMmighty on December 23, 2017, 09:03:18 AM
Hy guys:

I bought 2 year contract cloud mining with Crypterra, they did 2 transaction very quick and easy.

But after i got unconfirmed transaction for many days now :

f381fd51ec11980c68327e5745b4d73968e7bfd39307645a1630723e2fcf5a7f       0.00303003 BTC       to           16ZirY9wZY8gyYfTL7EitanCBEsW99wZR8 (unspent)

It hapen when they said it overload blockchain with  more than 200 000 transactions.

Now i just did 2 withdrawals :

b6c92cfc46e7da6fd360263e8a6fca07626659bac30df51ebf46b4a421ea11ec        0.00526784 BTC       to           1MEXikrh7N587VopidU783SdZrTimvnpv2 (unspent)

4e56990679502c4dfe398ac0dde3e4f58d8ac0324833821691c197e379ff9149      0.00267874 BTC       to           1FAbwH4CXSZwWLExFEZonQ82ipP61x7kgy (unspent)

I think i wont see this bitcoins of mine. Just because low fees probably. So are they doing this deliberately or not, cause what i know if transaction stays long time unconfirmed it goes back to sender...

Can i do something my self to make this transactions confirm and get them? And is it depends if i withdraw bigger amount then smaller?
Thanks guys for help

It isn't so much the "low fee" as the unconfirmed parent transactions... it would appear that Crypterra are creating long chains of unconfirmed transactions... with low fees :-\

Whether they are doing this deliberately (possibly in an attempt to "scam" users) or if they're just incompetent, I can't say. Either way those transactions are not likely to confirm for a while (if ever).

There really isn't anything you can do to get these transactions confirmed that won't cost you far more than what your transactions are worth :( If you want to ensure that the transactions don't disappear, you'd need to continually rebroadcast your transactions (and all the unconfirmed parents) and hope that they eventually get confirmed BEFORE any transaction that spends the same inputs.

This hash did already have a 2 confirmation b6c92cfc46e7da6fd360263e8a6fca07626659bac30df51ebf46b4a421ea11ec   which it would really be reflecting in your wallet now and this one 4e56990679502c4dfe398ac0dde3e4f58d8ac0324833821691c197e379ff9149  don't still have any confirmations but it would really have soon because fees aren't too low just like being said above. The thing you would need to do is to wait.
