Post by: squatz1 on December 25, 2017, 09:38:06 PM The network is grossly congested right now, you're going to have to use a TX accelerator to get anywhere or you're just going to be sitting the pool with a ton of other people. Worst case you're going to end up waiting some more time but you're at least going to be accelerated by VIABTC -- not too bad.
This is why I personally would rather use ETH if I'm on a time constraint with some transaction. It'll confirm quick, cheap, and it's accepted by a good amount of people. Goodluck! Worst case you're going to end up waiting some more time but you're at least going to be accelerated by VIABTC -- not too bad. This is why I personally would rather use ETH if I'm on a time constraint with some transaction. It'll confirm quick, cheap, and it's accepted by a good amount of people. Goodluck! And it got confirmed just two days ago. Sometimes the best thing that you can do is just put a higher fee, but that will make you do not worry about if the transaction went through or not. Normally when I send it takes only 2-5 days. I just don't know how's the traffic nowadays for you to take 2 weeks of wait. 12$ fine is not bad though. If I'm not wrong, the above one is your transaction, right George? You are getting angry over miners, but I don't see your fee anywhere near $12 but $1.5 (0.000101 BTC) is all you paid for that transaction, and considering 45 sats/byte, you will really need hard luck over getting it confirmed as even if such transactions are being taken in the blocks, check the mempool as well as https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ which shows that currently ~20k transactions are stuck in your fee range. By using some sites, you can tell you more about how crowded the network is and thus you can pay more fees to get confirmations faster. 12$ fee was little on that time but it must be confirmed now yesterday I paid about 25$ fee and my truncation gone faster.
