Our Vision:

Bitcoin Zero (BCZ) is an Australian-based research-driven platform with the mission to become the first company to evaluate the implications of extreme supply deflation in the cryptocurrency market.

The Bitcoin Zero vision is to create a new system that will stimulate the market’s potential growth through deflationary events; increasing investor profitability. BCZ aims to develop the most deflated coin in the history of the cryptocurrency market and become the turning point of future cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin Zero is defined by its dedication to determine the effects of extreme scarcity to the cryptocurrency market. Using this research, known as Project Zero, Bitcoin Zero will create an application for future blockchain development. Project Zero is a unique, continuous and event-driven ‘buyback and token burn’ strategy. It is designed to evaluate the application of extreme scarcity to the market, ideally to the smallest possible amount.

Features:

Bonfire events
The Bonfire Event will destroy a portion of tokens from the buyback and the tokens held by the founders if needed. Reduction of BCZ supply will, theoretically, relatively increase the value of an individual token based upon its reduced supply, if the demand is held constant. Announcement and countdown for the Bonfire Events will be broadcasted on our official website and social media accounts.

Bitcoin Zero has been designed to be able to support the long-term and continuous supply burn events. The number of the tokens to be burned will be announced by the Bitcoin Zero team through our official social media platforms. Our team will allocate a 7-days countdown prior to the event to give our investors time to respond.

Project Warlock
New event function designed to accelerate the reduction of BCZ tokens.
Further information about Project Warlock will be announced in February 2018.

Firestorm Event
A consecutive large-scale Bonfire Events. The Firestorm Event will be held in between the Q2-Q3 of 2018.
Further information about Firestorm Event will be announced prior to the event.

Low Market Cap
We are launching our platform with a low market cap to allow growth in our platform. We want our investors to benefit from this growth and to encourage more investors by positive results rather than negative.

Buyback Program
Bitcoin Zero will announce to the public further information about our buyback program. In scenarios such as, negative fluctuation to the market price. Further information will be made available on our official website and social media platform. The portion of the procured BCZ tokens from the buyback program will be burned and/or reserved for future use. I don't think it's an innovative way, so many tokens do it. What is the function of the token?

So your plan is to sell all the tokens to exchanges which will then sell them to us? Why not cut out the middle man and sell them to us directly?

15 Million supply is better than Bitcoin and if this quantity will reduce thru the burning, then this one will be a gold mine. Kindly update the thread with the details of your token sale, including the minimum purchase and some other details.

I don't think it's a problem that they are using Ethereum as a basis. You can still equip the coin with all kinds of functionalities to make it a distinct coin with outstanding characteristics. Not sure though if that is really their intention...

It's an interesting idea-- a deflationary token. So basically the number of tokens dwindles over time or to be more precise, specific events would blow up chunks of the tokens, make them scarcer and hence more valuable. It is interesting but whether it will be feasible moving forward is a different thing.

After immense analysis of the cryptocurrency market, the buyback program has been designed by the BCZ team to support our ability to reduce the BCZ supply. The buyback program will be executed in scenarios such as a drastic negative fluctuation of the market. Furthermore, we'll be releasing new event functions to aid the sustainability of our token burning, such as Project Warlock. More information about Project Warlock and the new event functions will be released after the first Bonfire Event.

We initially planned to sell the coins to the investors directly, however, selling to the investors directly will brand us as ICO. Some of our team members have had a negative experience in ICOs and we do not want our investors to potentially experience the limitations of us, the developers, holding their assets until the release date.

The buyback program will be launched prior to the Bonfire event. The buyback program will only be announced when the price of each BCZ token is below 80% of its original value or in cases such as a market collapse to provide the short-term investors time to sell their BCZ tokens to our buyback program or to other investors.

Unfortunately, we will not run an ICO since a few of our team members have had a negative experience because of the developers withholding the investor's assets until the release date. We intend to give our investors the options not to miss out any opportunities in the market before investing in our platform.

Burning coins has been happening for years, we have had projects that specifically burn coins every week/month to try and create a game out of it.
It's definitely not something unique.

Hi Suke_Teki, we will not hold an ICO for our platform, but simply release our BCZ through EtherDelta since some of our team members have encountered negative experience through participating in ICOs before such as developer's theft, withholding assets and missing out the opportunity to profit. We do not want our investors to experience loss or missed opportunities because our vision is to protect the investors' interest, therefore, we have decided not to conduct an ICO.

We chose not to show our team in the meantime because we are still in the process of building credibility and talents. We are still in the process of hiring new team members to manage our platform and expand our current skill set. To further increase our credibility we are currently in contact with a few potential business partners with a reputable name to back us up such as universities, and local businesses in our area, Perth, Western Australia. Once we have a signal from an industry backer and have added an adequate amount of people to our team then we will release the list of the team members.

Doing an ICO is the best and easiest way of raising funds to start the development of a project but sometimes it is an easy way for those scammer to get some money from someone's pocket. Nice to know that you are not doing an ICO but how would you distribute your tokens? are you going to have an AIRDROP, an alternative way of distribution?

Here is the greatest observation any poster has made. A true Bitcoin success does not lie with a borrowed blockchain such as a ERC20. It is crappy to go that way. Look at Bitcoinwhitecoin with its separate wallet address. Look at Bitcoin atom too. Why then will BCZ rely on ethereum blockchain?


The supply of any coin doesn't matter much if the project of the coin isn't solid and realisable. The devs can only trap gullible investors but won't achieve much. And you are wrong comparing this with Bitcoin. Look at the blockchain both run on.
