Title: Trying to choose the ICO to invest in
Post by: billcanter on January 04, 2018, 10:55:31 AM
Hi everyone,

so I'm trying to figure out where to invest my money right now and decided to ask some knowledgable people here! hope you'll be able to help me out and let me know your opinion on this, please feel free to share your thoughts.

So prior to investing I decided to review the best ICOs that are currently running, according to Inc. magazine (https://www.inc.com/bill-carmody/top-10-initial-coin-offerings-icos-to-watch-heading-into-2018.html), there is a small list of truly good projects on the market now.

What would you choose out of this list? Have you already invested in one of these projects maybe?

I'm looking at Rentberry and Cypherium. The first ones already have a fully working project and backing of some Venture Companies and the second one is trying to make the blockchain technology go mainstream.

What do you think? What are you secure and interesting options?

Thanks!

Crypterium is one of best ICO in the last year and I noticed that this project has mentioned in the some of the ICO rating site. We are seeing the ICO choosing with the perfect information like their future growth and white paper release details. You all have to check the capital value of the concern ICO.
You need to be a selective person to invest ICO because there are many ICO as scamming the investors.

how about Trade.io and Tokenomy (TEN)?

Trade.io
Binance need competitors, Trade.io will be a great competitor for Binance.

Tokenomy
the CEO of Tokenomy is Oscar Darmawan, the same CEO with Bitcoin.co.id.
Bitcoin.co.id is the biggest cryptocurrency exchange market in Indonesia.
you can check the trading volume on this market exchange (Bitcoin.co.id) on Coinmarketcap.

Pre-ICO: 80000 TEN/BTC.
Pre ICO period: January 8th, 2018, 3:00 PM to January 15th, 2018, 3.00 PM (UTC+8).

You can do some research about it.

From my personal past experiences, I wouldn't recommend investing in ICOs at all. If you find a project with very high potential, just invest during the pre-ICO phase which will give you a lot of bonus tokens. Recent developments show that over 90% of tokens aren't even holding up at the ICO price. Alternatively, you could wait for the ICO to finish and then buy in when the token hits exchanges, at a much lesser price than during the ICO.

Trade.io TIO TOKEN has a very good remuneration revenue sharing model and it also has raised a lot of money as well in it's ICO. I think though now it just finished a few hours ago but my advice is to pick some up asap as soon as it gets onto a decent exchange because I have a feeling once all the early punters have dumped for instant profits, it will grow very fast in price and up the ranks as people want to scale up and join the pools.

Theres a lot of promising ICO right now,  you just have to be careful and research the project very well,  i suggest check the team,  advisors and the type of product or services they will offer.  Check the website of the critics then see the ratings.

I ma sure your handpicked ICO's are great and they are working with their model just fine. I have another ICO's with similar condition and as per our trust factor we always choose what comforts us. I have been too attach with the SCL, the social coin platform now and I'm holding the coins for the same since 8 moths now. Im very faithful about this project because the kind of development these people have made is enormous and upto the mark. They are running everything with according to roadmap and the timeline is just perfect. Im sure this will attract more investors into its platform and there will be huge profitability from its investment. Also, January is peak period for this company because its going to advertise the SCL all over the internet. This will surely bring huge crowd again and thus will pump the SCL huge. So you may wanna look into it. :-)

I came across a similar ICO too. Which is an exchange with 6 products in one exchange.
They claim to have lending, trading, Signal trading, Staking, borrowing and referral in one exchange.

It really seems interesting and their Pre-ICO just ended.
Their ICO stage 1 is coming up soon too.

I am looking forward for their bounty programs to earn their Bitto tokens too.

Below have more informations regarding their ICO.

First, I never know about ICO's you're mention, sorry about that. Second, ICO is new project with new coin and need more time to see their performance. Last one, I suggest you invest with second coin after btc, such as ltc, xrp and xmr. For me, second coin is have future than ICO even they have good concept and clear roadmap. As friend, I only suggest you should be careful with your plan ( invest in ICO ) and the coin you take. But it's your money, no one will stop you. Good luck to you.

Cypherium looks more better and promising than Rentberry. If i were you i'll invest in Cypherium or invest 50/50 in both, instead of going all-in for one ICO.

1. ICON
2. EOS
3. AION

I am also thinking of investing in a very nice ICO and looking forward of earning big for future investment. But choosing a nice and promising project is not easy  it is more important  to verify it first before entering and finally invest.

You try reading Insurepal I'm sure this will caught your interest. Our new technologies such as crypto currencies and other digital stuff offers to make life so easier and it is good to know that in line with that other important institutions adopt this kind of market and that's what Insurepal did. It is an crypto insurance that would be very beneficial to a lot of people and I am confident investing on this ICO will bring so much return in the future

I usually share this criteria with people who want to invest in icos.Firstly, are you investing for long term or short term gains? If any of these, the coin supply is very key. low supply coins are good for short and long term as well but usually large supply are good for long term. Also who are the competitors to the project, what does the project have that will  or can attract a large market?Who are the team behind the project? What are their experiences?Using this criteria has helped me loads in investing. So you can apply that and see.

If you cant decide I would recommend three really good ICOs that I reviewed (my first choice is Titanium TBIS with Rentberry and Snovio close tie for second):

1.   Rentberry:
https://icochat.wordpress.com/2018/01/16/whitepaper-analysis-rentberry-decentralized-rental-properties/

2.  Titanium TBIS:
https://icochat.wordpress.com/2018/01/15/update-titanium-tbis-partners-with-electroneum/
and

3. Snovio
https://icochat.wordpress.com/2018/01/04/snovio-a-transformative-platform-for-lead-generation/

Best thing is that all 3 are dirt cheap right now but the price of these will likely rise quickly!

just don't invest in Ripple, Stellar, BCC or Tron. You'll be getting screwed out a lot of money

Trade IO = Crap

Do not put a single dollar in here unless that you want to lose your money, he is just promoting that one because he is on their signature campaign, otherwise, he would not do it.

Take a look over Peculium, Gems, and BeeToken, they are far, the most reliable ICO's at the moment.

Even the ICO you want to invest have potential to become sucessful in the future they have possibile it will fail if they did not reach their target price.  So better if you make more research to  Rentberry and Cypherium and for sure you will get a lot of information to this ICO and you will see what is better to invest from that two ICO.  It's hard to say what really happen to this ICO because we cant know how many investor will invest to that project. Invest at your own risk but if you are lucky for sure you will earn money but if you are not lucky for sure you lose some of your capital.

Now in this times it is not in which ICO to invest, it is with what you
plan to invest. Currently prices are down and cause of that it is the best
to invest with traditional currencies, giving your Bitcoins or Ethereums now
is wasiting your precious coins for nothing.
Until the end of this storm I will not spend my coins, and I plan to buy
something with my money but that will be more Bitcoins or Ethereums,
maybe something else, but not ICO`s, it is not the time for that.

we are facing now a very huge dump in crypto currencies value and almost all coins drop so bad. If you are planning to invest better do it now while the market has low price so you can maximize your earnings and in choosing a good ICO you must try researching and visiting alternative coins topic and should try reading those ICO that you pick so you can have a good assessment if it will really succeed or not.

Consider carefully the aspects of the project before deciding to invest in an ICO project. Currently investing in ICO is the trend of this market, but you too can see that there are too many projects that exist, so choosing good projects is extremely difficult, which requires a lot of time. space and knowledge. Invest in caution at this time.

I think you should establish your own set of criteria and do your own set of research. I would be a bit careful about ICO rating websites.  It's hard to imagine they could be 100% objective when they charge large listing fees to "analyze" and "feature" ICO's.

There are some excellent Discord Channels with some pretty dedicated and passionate people who spend time analyzing ICO's. ConcourseQ is one of them.

Each week I myself research ICO's and it's mainly because I produce a podcast episode each week in my effort to analyze ICO's - and I can tell you it is incredibly time-consuming.  But it's worth it.

If, before you invest, you jump into the Telegram and Discord channel and ask questions you will get a sense of how much the team knows what they are doing.  As an example - I jumped into Lamden's channel before their sale and within ten minutes I knew I was talking to people who really new their stuff.  By contrast, I jumped into Budbo's channel a few weeks ago and couldn't get any technical questions answered - at least to my satisfaction -- from the CTO himself.  And then when I tried to reach out to the "lead blockchain developer" on LinkedIn with my questions - he referred me back to the CTO.

That's the  kind of thing you have to do - read everything - bring your questions to the people who wrote the whitepaper, and get a sense of what the project is really about.

It takes time - but if it's your money ... then it's worth it.

Slight problem there might be that he's talking about ICO's and they are not generally on Coinmarketcap .. yet.

But I am curious - why is Stellar on your list?  I feel like the platform seems to be pretty robust, and the opportunities to build stuff on it seem well thought out.  Is there one particular thing that stands out that makes you suspicious?  I only ask because I'm thinking about standing up some services using that platform.  Thanks...

The block chain project of ICO mainly USES the block chain technology not to tamper with the property of the ledger, can guarantee the transparent public issue token, and use the intelligent contract technology to realize automatic dividend. I think from:
1. Founding team
2. Project introduction
3. Financing history
4. Specific and feasible plan.
5. Financing objectives and the rights to release.

We can see that there are many ICO projects emerging every day, so it is very difficult to choose a good project. We have to see what the project has to do, the development team of who, the specific direction in each year, the number of tokens released ... There are many things you have to pay attention to be able to choose a good project.
