Unfortunately this is only for windows at the moment.

Edit: It may be possible if you installed windows via bootcamp.

Legacy GatelessGate integration complete, Should I release now or wait until after I add DSTM for Nvidia cards?

Thanks, big part I am having trouble with is getting it to add a X17 but I'll figure it out eventually xD

Update DSTM look like it will be a simple addition so I will release later tonight with gatelessgate and DSTM in the update.

A fun challenge would be figuring out how to integrate HSRminer for neoscript also. Might look into that for tomorrows addition.

Neoscrypt update, addition of DSTM released.
Sorry for the delay had a couple IRL things come up.

X17 initial testing started, if all goes well will be able to add most algos minable on zpool into the program.
Testing looking good but when I release ppl with 1050-1070's will need to bug test as I only have 1080's and 1080TI's.

After this I will most likely stop daily releases while I add more ccminer, sgminer variants and get all the possible algos added to the program.

For normalisation which service are you using. Nicehash or zpool api.

Title: Re: zPool Gui Miner
Post by: sandboy on January 09, 2018, 06:19:39 AM
I have connected 2 1080. 1st 1080 is running 54 MH/s nist5 alg on ccminer_x11gost, 2nd 1080 is running 48 MH/s nist5 alg on ccminer_klaust.
As expected both should give same hashpower, which is currently high.
Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong ?

My 1080 overclocked is doing 60MH/s Nist 5 using alexis.

I am close to having a major update for nvidia cards. Had to delay the release due to a alexis stats bug on rigs with more than 4 cards but should have a pre-release version out within 24 hours.

Here is the early development build for the Nvidia update this is not finished but it adds many algos which make a big profitability difference. Best with drivers newer than 388.31 as some miners use Cuda 9.

Bug found in Neoscrypt release

Temporary fix is to
Go to settings>Devices/Algorithms
For each GPU select neoscrypt gatelessgate and
change the gatelessgate neoscrypt extra launch parameters to
--intensity 13 --worksize 256 --gpu-threads 1

Next open the Bins folder then GLG folder and delete all existing .bin files

This fix majorly improves neoscrypt hashrates.

New Download at
https://github.com/Cryptominer937/zPoolMiner/releases/tag/1.8.1.7
Includes a temporary patch due to the temporary removal of X17 from zpool.

New users only need to download the patch version an it is a core update to fix the issue.

Update Release Tomorrow:
Just implemented 3rd party json to fix any future issues if a algo is removed from zpool.ca for any reason. It checks if all options are valid and if one is missing it replaces it and sets profitability to 0 so you switch algos. This json updates every 2 Min to keep zpool api calls low. Also fixes issues if you run many rigs on the same IP.

Really love this GUI zpool miner. Nice work! Thank you!
I noticed that the current version using ccminer-palgin to mine x17, but I think ccminer alexis-1.0 is faster with Nvidia cards as for the x17.
If neoscrypt can be included in the future edition that would be awesome.

Planning to re-add neoscrypt after the bug fix release.

I mostly removed alexis as it had api issues if more than 4 cards were in the same system and on gtx 1080, 1080TI palgin was Minimaly slower less than half a MH/s. I will re-add it as a optional miner soon for those with 4 cards or less per rig.

Right now I am trying to get the update notifications to work.

Have you tried the Klaus/8.16 as the miner for neoscrypt, seems to give the best hash.  Also is there a way to set intensities for the miners to use?

1.9.0.0 just released.
https://github.com/Cryptominer937/zPoolMiner/releases/tag/1.9.0.0

Changes:
New 3rd party error correcting json server
Automatically sets a coin profitability to 0 if it is disabled or removed by the pool.
Stops miner crashing if a algo is removed from the pool
Reduces the api load on zpool.ca

Fixes:
Removed profit buttons from the settings page as there is no alternative for this provided by zpool.
Major code cleanup should improve performance.

I have 8.18 included but in my testing it was slower in all benchmarks.

https://github.com/216k155/ccminer-phi-anxmod/releases

From my testing this only works well with latest drivers which will in turn slow down other miners. I will test it for a few days and look into adding it as a optional miner like I left alexis for a alternate x11Gost AKA sib alternative.

Close it and re-open it I just made a tweak to the 3rd party API.

For issues that are major like this shoot me a message on twitter. at least until I get the discord server up and running.

First of all,  thanks for all your work with this!! I think it will be very helpful.

Am I correct in thinking that neoscrypt hasn't been added back into 1.9 yet?

I also have access to an rx480 if you would like me to run a couple test with it? (I think you mentioned you just have 1080's?)

Correct neoscrypt and other optimizations will be in 1.9.0.1.

I have 470's, a 1080, a 1080ti, 2 r7 360's that I use for testing. my 4 card 470 rig is earning just under $20/Day right now on neoscrypt via GatelessGate which is included in 1.9.0.0.

But i would like to know the results on the 480.

But i would like to know the results on the 480.

On windows 10 with an XFX RX 480, 17.12.1 driver, I am not detecting any usable devices on 1.9.0.0.  I checked the settings and it should be looking for AMD devices unless I need to change something else?  Perhaps it's due to the stock driver vs the AMD crypto driver?  It's not my machine and used for gaming, so I would probably hear about it if I started changing drivers around... ;D

Yea there is a bug that AMD needs to fix in the latest drivers making it so that opencl doesn't report what the device ID's are and in turn the miner doesn't know that they exist.

I had something similar happen.  I was watching my wallet on zpool and noticed my 1070 nist5 gpu had dropped out.  Looked in the log and saw that I had been switched over to the dev fee wallet as described in the first post.

Cryptominer, would you mind just clarifying how it is decided when this switch is made/the fee timing schedule?  I'm not worried about it, I just think there might be an issue with my second GPU not reverting back to my wallet automatically  (after ~30 minutes on the dev wallet I stopped the mining in the GUI and restarted again.  It then switched back to my wallet.   I can send over the log if you would like to see it.

So far so good with everything else on my end.  Thanks!

I had something similar happen.  I was watching my wallet on zpool and noticed my 1070 nist5 gpu had dropped out.  Looked in the log and saw that I had been switched over to the dev fee wallet.

Thanks!

Please send the log as my only thought is that it is happening when there are more than 1 type of GPU in a system.

For example I have 1 mixed system that i setup today with  a R9 270x and a R7 360 and each mines a different algo when the dev fee kicks in only one of the 2 is switching to the dev fee which is still fine by me.

As to the donation and how it should be working
After the first 3 Hrs it should switch to the dev address for 12 Min then switch back your address and reset the timer for the next Dev mining for another 12 Hrs.

If you have teamviewer on the system I would be glad to look. Just Private Message me.

Just tried again, now it works may be that's the problem with zpool

OK, I see what is happening The new API is still in BETA. It looks like what happened is that your rig tried getting API data while my API troubleshooting script was running I may have to add caching for it to prevent this in the future or setup something like cloudflare CDN distribution. Will look into it more. For now it shouldn't affect what your mining but from time to time it just reports 0 profitability making it a bug that is just a annoyance.

Just sent over the log.    I do have 1 1080 ti and one 1070.  Both of mine ended up switching though.  Perhaps because I cycled the miner mid change?   Thanks for explaining how the schedule works.

Much appreciated  ;D . I  am currently testing a dev version in a mixed rig that cycles the dev fee every 5 Min to try and track this down.

oh nice!  that will speed up testing a bit.  For what it's worth, I was thinking it might have to do with the fact that I manually stopped mining after the first card switched over and then restarted it.  So the initial change worked as you expected (only 1 card) but the restart during the 12 minute period affected both cards starting but only the 1 card again when time was up.

Yea, cause I have not had any sticking on the devfee yet. But my mixed rig is AMD not Nvidia as I normally group my cards to were the same tier cards are all in one rig. I also have no 1070's for testing. I sold them all to upgrade to a 1080 and a 1080ti which make about the same per day but have a higher re-sale value later.

Oh nice.  I just got two ti's with the same thought on resale potential.  The prices right now are crazy!  I was lucky to find a couple in stock for normal-ish prices, but it took a lot of looking...I think the price jumps/news in December will bring in a bunch of new hobby miners.

I'll keep an eye on my setup and see if anything else happens.  I haven't had a change over to the dev address since the first one.    If you can't find anything, I can try out your 5 minute dev version (if you want)  and see if I can recreate anything.

I just added the new hsrminer by palgin for neoscrypt and think I opened a can of worms. With the code for that in zpoolMiner I am now getting miners closing then ........... nothing just everything is blank.

To what coin are you exchanging your profits? I'm using his miner since yesterday with 2x 1060 6GB and I'm pretty satisfied with the results it gives me. I used nicehash/awesome miner which gave me way less than zPool Miner does. Actually it's mining with phi, the only problem I had yesterday that it switched to nist5 and didnt gave any UI information and didn't mind, so I excluded nist5 and since them its working pretty fine, with an estimated value of $10.18 a day. I can't wait till he adds neoscrypt and maybe we will be able to get even more profit out of it.

Preliminary neoscrypt testing on a single 1080 shows

CCminer Trpuvot 2.2.3 = 1.010 MH/s or 0.0039333 BTC/day
New Palgin HSR Neoscrypt = 1.065 MH/s or 0.00041457 BTC/day

Were the most profitable is PHI doing 23.83 MH/s or 0.00067773 BTC/day

So I have added Nvidia neoscrypt for the next release but it is not the most profitable to mine.

Still to do before the next release.

You set the switch profitability in the config file for now. the config file is located in.
configs and named General.json
Default is 0.05 for it to switch algorythms. But the default settings should give you the most consistent payouts.

Was trying to figure out why the app said it was mining two different threads, but showing it was using GPU2 for both. Turned out it tried to switch to skein on GPU1 but windows defender did what it does and threw up a false positive. Seems like when it prevented the miner from running, the app decided to just pull stats from gpu2 twice instead of attemping to relaunch something on GPU1. telling windows to ignore the file, stopping and restarting it seemed to fix it though. Anyway to have it fall back if something like that happens and I'm not around to see it?

Title: Re: zPool Gui Miner
Post by: cryptominer420 on January 16, 2018, 12:40:26 AM
That should only happen once as long as you told windows defender to allow the file. I will look into adding a integrity check before launch but will have to add it to my list so not ETA at this time.

Also.
API V2 has launched - should fix the bug with the miner randomly stopping when the API is lost. Please report any bugs with the API if they arise so I can address them quickly.

I'm still pretty new to this, so I apologize if this is this is a dumb question,

but should my mining have gone down going from 1.8.1.7?

I'm running a 980ti and a 1080ti. on 1.8.1.7 they were both mining phi at a rate of about 0.0015 a day. on 1.9.0.0 the 1080ti is mining skein and the 980ti is mining phi at a total rate of about 0.00125 per day.

Is that just coin markets changing I guess? I ran precise benchmarks in both versions and I'm on geforce 390.65 drivers.

This is caused by the internal Profit normalization. Also make sure that Windows Defender did not delete a miner as this happens from time to time. If this continues happening send me a personal message on twitter or in the discord group and I would be glad to take a look with you over teamviewer.

Hmm, windows defender mentions that it quarantined this

\zpoolminer2\bin\ccminer_polytimos\ccminer

when it popped up originally I told defender to restore it and it's running that miner now. Perhaps the initial estimates were just over inflated and leveled out.

Yea not sure why it flags polytimos miner and not any of the others but I can state that it is a false positive.

I just grabbed 1.9, and am attempting to benchmark now, but it seems it's only using one of the 2 1606 3GB in this rig in the benches. Is this normal/expected behavior?

Edit: I also switched off hide miners in the setup, yet it is doing so, I'd much rather be able to see their output rather than having to read logs to help troubleshoot as I go.

When benchmarking it will benchmark each card individually and automatically hides the mining window. Once benchmarking is finished and normal mining starts it will show the mining window.

If only one card is showing up direct message me on twitter (@MyCryptoCoinz)or discord and i would be glad to take a look over teamviewer.

At the moment I'm keeping them in BTC and exchange myself at a later date.  I also had the change to nist5 for a bit yesterday but it worked properly for me.  I've had it stay on 0 hashes for a minute or two but I believe that is due to either the API being worked on momentarily or the miner waiting for data from zpool.

Hope things are going well today!  I have had good success with the KlausT ccminer for neoscrypt as well.  I think neoscrypt in general hits a sweet spot for the 1070 mining power as my 1080 ti is only ~ 27% faster on that algorithm at ~50% more power.  Supposedly it has something to do with the GDDR5 (1060 and 1070's) vs GDDR5X (1080 and 1080 ti) memory latency, GDDR5 being more responsive.  All that being said, I guess profitability still just depends on current market prices.

I think perhaps it benchmarks one card at a time?  So you have to wait on the first before the second starts?  I ran into the same thing and ended up just benchmarking them separately using the check boxes.

Okay i have a question. Since Zpool site from time to time is not showing for me and its reporting different hash rates then your miner which one is the correct ? Your miner or the site ? And if its your miner should i be worried that the zpool dont show the correct ones or just the site bugs fom time to time for me and they are synced ?

This is not a simple answer.
OK so the speed reported by zpoolminer and the speed reported on zpool site are both right.

In zpoolminer it is estimating your speed using a 100% luck factor
Meaning if everything is perfect you should expect this speed.
      This would mean
a 0ms ping to the stratum server
      you have no stale shares
      you have no rejected shares

What the zpool site is showing you is actual speeds calculated over 5 Min which can fluctuate a lot but generally even out to 85-95% of what zpoolminer reports.

Your most profitable on a 1060 should be either skein or Phi maybe Nist5
Neoscrypt is only leading for AMD cards for the last several days

But Neoscrypt will be in the 1.9.0.1 release with both ccminer and a beta addition of the Palgin hsr neoscrypt miner.

1.9.0.1 will also include a major improvement to available AMD algos to mine.

Phi seems to have dropped hard on btc/day since this weekend. nist5 is just eeking it out on my 980ti/1080ti combo. A shame, over the weekend it was hitting 0.0015-0.0016. Now it's barely hanging on to 0.0011

Oh definitely. It isn't deterring me at all. I was hoping with btc dropping, it might mean we'd get a better exchange, but since everything is dropping that isn't happening.

That tencent info from last night will hopefully help things out again in the long run.

BTW, is it a good idea to re-bench from time to time or does it do that automatically while it's running?

I re-bench once a month.

Also Development update .... Give it a min to load the Image.

Update 2: I broke something in prospector fixing that and looking for more algo's I can add.

That would be up-to the pool owner I just made software to work with zPool.ca and it currently supports everything they support.

Thanks, Just me coding on this for now.

Update:
Due to the size of the Bin and Bin_3rdParty sizes they will start being served to the miner via my website to keep costs down. Github LFS is just far to expensive at $5 per 50GB bandwidth when we are using 50-100GB/day with me releasing so many updates and instead of releasing less often I chose to just upgrade my hosting plan to unlimited bandwidth.

x-17 disabled on zpool remember to turn it off in your miner under settings Devices / Algorithms for each card in your rig.

This step is no longer required I took care of it on the API side. However benchmarking x17 will fail at this time.

Veltor Algo Dropped by zPool this benchmark will now fail on AMD. Remember to uncheck this box if benchmarking AMD and just be skipped by nvidia after benchmark.

If you were mining for XVG as a payout you must switch to another coin. Only BTC and LTC are guaranteed payouts.

Wallet issues so the pool owner had to disable it.

You do not need to register it is a anonymous pool. As long as you are mining for BTC as a payout then yes you can leave the worker details set to default.

Currently I am adding full algo and miner support.
Next will be CPU support.
Then Failover pools for all algo's and miners possible.
Then prob a bunch of bug fixes.
Then I plan to convert the mining location dropdown to support other pools and even a all pool usage option.

Celebrating my 1 month anniversary of coding on this today. So I am taking a coding break.

This is doing pretty good, I am thinking about replacing polytimos ccminer as it keeps getting removed by windows defender. The problem is it is fastest for some algos for nvidia.

Hello cryptominer420, just a quick question. I understand that we mining for your wallet 12 minutes every 12 hours. I am curious how it works, for example If I just finish mining 12 min for you and then I restart my computer or restart the zpool program, will it re-mining 12 min for your wallet? Does it matter if I close the program and reopen it or restart my rig? will it change the record that I already mining 12 min for your wallet? Thanks

This is a false positive and it depends on your AV as to if it attempts to block it or not. I only use windows defender for testing and it does flag ccminer_polytimos as a virus but it is also a false positive so I just restore it. I would replace it if it was not the fasted for many algos.

Yes, doing that all the time. I have all my miners grouped under a main folder. I add an exclusion for it in windows defender and now no more false warnings.
Didn't have the chance to test the software, but looks promising. Good work!

Basically this started as a simple fork of nicehashminer legacy then i added support for zpool, then all of the algo's supported by zpool, added the best miners. Basically it is awesomeminer with a gui. All licensing is in the right places as per nicehashminer legacy's licensing. I am also working on this to improve it daily. Soon I will add support for more pools.

You did do a full re-setup with 1.9.0.1 correct? as since so many algos were added the old benchmark data, extralaunch parameters get stored which can cause things to crash if not using a fresh setup of zpoolminer.

Just had this happen on a system that they gave me teamviewer access to and they tried copying 1.9.0.1 files into the folder that had configs for 1.8.1.7.

It did it again, so I'm making a new folder and starting benchmarks over. It seems to be happening on my 980ti. the 1080ti completes all benches without fail.

Will update with results.

-EDIT-

Yup, it's crashing on NeoScrypt(hsrneoscrypt) on my 980ti in a completely fresh folder. Upload reloading the app, it's telling me I should make sure I have enough Virtual memory for all scripts, but I set it to about 20GB (I believe the recommendation was at least 8GB per card).

It's weird because the 1080ti passes that script just fine.

Hi.

I am testing with 6 1070ti and Neoscript works perfectly with HSR. In addition, the results are very good.

The problem that I have, is that when I am using this software, I do not see the Windows window where it indicates the Hashes and the errors, I am undermining blindly.

Do you know how to solve this and that the mining window appears?

A greeting and great software good work.

In the mean time if anyone has a mixed Nvidia 10xx card with 9xx card please test this release and let me know if hsrneoscrypt shows up for the 9xx series card you don't have to benchmark or anything I just need to know that it does not show for compute 5 cards but that it does for compute 6 cards as I am starting to work on making the miner compatible with older drivers and cards.

most of these estimates take historical data, and/or use current luck factor :/ their a rough estimate at best :(
a pool could hit a few lucky blocks and your daily profit would shoot up, dosent mean the pool will CONTINUE to hit fast blocks :/
ive never made what a calculator says either, always +/- 10-20%

Well for me its mostly like - 50/60%. But never +/- 10-20%, I mean that would be great but not reachable for me at any point.

my gtx 970 shows neoscrypt as an option.
my 960m shows it as an option
wont bench "hsrneoscrypt" tho,     terminated status if i try.
all other algos seem to work fine :)
Keep up the good work, love this GUI miner <3
Same on my 980ti. shows and crashes. I didn't attempt to do a full bench, just told it to try that one to see if it would just skip it.

Is this happening on a fresh folder or did you copy the patch into the folder with the existing release?

If any of you are willing to give me teamviewer access to see what's going on direct message me on discord ( Cryptominer937#0439 ) or twitter ( @MyCryptoCoinz )

For those having issues with low hashrates make sure that on your stats page you are not mining a coin with a diff of 0.08 I think there is a on and off bug in the stratum for x17 and phi. I disabled Phi last night and my pending bal started shooting up again.

Coins go short from time to time. The only coins guaranteed for a payout are BTC and LTC. However LTC can go short from time to time but the pool owner manually refills the LTC supply daily at least.

Ok, I can discard warning and keep mining with LTC payout ?

Yes you can, as he told me he only does that for LTC. So you don't need to worry about that =)
Idk why, but I'm using the miner now for nearly a whole week. And I never reached the daily estimated profit, it has always been way less.

most of these estimates take historical data, and/or use current luck factor :/ their a rough estimate at best :(

I have the same experience, in 24h on two rigs -50-60% than the estimate in gui. cca 24/h 0.12LTC gui=49$

As I stated before if you were mining Phi there were stratum server issues not adjusting the vardiff which had a big impact on speeds accepted by the pool.

zPoolMiner Update:
Bin update for 1.9.0.1 pushed for Nvidia fixing the x17 alexis miner. to update close the miner and delete your bin folder. when you relaunch the miner it will ask to fix the missing bins so let it and the update will be done.

I ran into the same thing.  Was mining phi but receiving no payouts.  I looked at the pool stats and it had been over 6 hrs since anything had been discovered and looked like the MH/s rate of the pool was in the dumps.  something like 2-3 day TTF for the block.  I unchecked PHI and things went back to normal.

some of my GTX 9*0 cards benchmarked hsrneoscrypt fine. Is that a bug? The hash rates looked good and it began mining.

I guess it is a bug. I thought it would crash but it just gave an unrealistic hash rate and rejected everything.

Same here!  It would be interesting to map out what algos work well together.  A quick search came up with this article:

 https://steemit.com/mining/@vertti/benefits-of-dual-mining-with-the-convenience-of-nicehash (https://steemit.com/mining/@vertti/benefits-of-dual-mining-with-the-convenience-of-nicehash)

Which mentions a nicehash fork that includes dual mining:

https://github.com/DillonN/NiceHashMiner (https://github.com/DillonN/NiceHashMiner)

Looks like there might be some interesting possibilities/ideas there to use within zPoolMiner?!

Yea currently the only dual mining I know of include Daggerhashimoto AKA ethash. I did some testing last night and Skein liked working with Blake2s but blake2s had to be at a low intensity. om my 1080 I ran Skein with -i 31 and ran Blake2S with -i 25 took a while for the blake2s to find a share but it had minimal impact on the skein hashrate. Plan to do more testing as this change would be a while away.

Github will be going one version behind as others are now modifying and releasing my code claiming a 0 fee version when you can already disable the fee in mine. Just want to make sure no bad code is released and someone claim it is from me.

Seeing as i get 12 Min every 12 Hours

Check your math..
12*60 = 720 Min for you
SO
Add 12 Min to that
720 + 12 = 732
Now divide 12 by 732 = 0.0163924426229508

So what is my percentage?

1.63924426229508% which will be reduced as more people use the miner.

i would counter with:  why is Nicehash popular? because they pay well? NOT.
because they have a "one-click" GUI
This is the same.
Awesomeminer is well, awesome, but takes hours, PER rig, to setup.
NO thanks. i have way too much going on to individually put up to 3 hours into 30+ rigs....
this miner, goes to zpool, a auto-convert BTC pool, which i was doing by hand anyways...   other pools are already mentioned to be planned as well
so this saves me alot of trouble personally
and also, your math is bad, it was clear in the op it was around 1% (variations can touch 2% sometimes)  which is considered "acceptable  industry standard" for crypto-services usually ;p

also it's not 12 minutes every hour. It's 12 minutes per 12 hours of use.

Huh my miner just stopped. Also it looks like zpool.ca is down. I assume that's the reason.

Announcements:

Just cleared the first $40 day with zPoolMiner, Thank you all so much for your support. We are 40% of the way to the first of hopefully many DevFee reductions in only a months time.

AhashMiner 1.9.0.3 has been released.
zPoolMiner 1.9.0.3 Has been released.
A more robust API has gone Live.

AhashMiner 1.9.0.3 is available at : https://github.com/Cryptominer937/zPoolMiner/releases/tag/Ahash-1.9.0.3
to copy benchmarks from zpoolminer
1. Make sure the zPoolMiner is in the folder called zPoolMiner on your desktop
2. Install AhashMiner
3. Open AhashMiner & after bin downloads close it
4. run AhashGUIMiner Benchmark Copier
5. Re-launch AhashMiner and there should be minimal benchmarking required.

zPoolMiner 1.9.0.3 is available at : https://github.com/Cryptominer937/zPoolMiner/releases/tag/1.9.0.3

to Upgrade
1. Copy your benchmark_GPU files from the configs folder
2. Install the new zPoolMiner
3. Run zPoolMiner and download all Bins.
4. Close zPoolMiner
5. Copy your saved benchmark_GPU files into the new configs folder overwriting the ones created by default

This will minimize Required Benchmarking and Yes I will automate it in a future release.

Changes: Addition of Palgin_HSR for HSR

Fixes: 20-30 tiny bugs.

Unfortunately I have had to make the decision to not keep the Github fully up-to date as we have had people starting to release a versions with the devfee ripped out when there is already a command line argument that can be used to disable it. (Don't ask me for it as you will have to find it inside the code that is available on GitHub.) Github will still be updated but it will remain one full major revision behind. I am doing this so that people are not inserting malicious code into what I have done so far. Will provide source to well respected members of the community if anyone wants my code inspected.

I recommend those drivers as they are what I use for testing on RX 470 4GB cards however for more than a 8 Card rig they do not work correctly.

What version of drivers did you upgrade to as i would be willing to give them a test.

This is because we use normalization so that we do not lose money switching to a coin that has a short spike then by the time it's exchanged it's less that what you would have made on another algo.

I disabled Skunk mining, Payout rate was wrong at 5k$+/ day. Mining all night for penny.
Now mining Blake2s. This rig is running 1.9.0.2 with 6x GTX1060 6GB, issue is probably fixed in 1.9.0.3 ?

My 2x RX480 crashed last night on 19.0.1.3.
RIG is 1 year + , mining super stable since last year but may show aging issues.

Typically need to hard reboot to recover missing GPU, soft reboot isn't enough ...
I changed driver and mining software at same time...
Need to investigate if it's hardware related or not.
Mining is lot's of fun  :P

Thanks !

The skunk spike was cause by the zpool api, looks like they were using a exchange that had a HUGE spike in the price of MUN and that shot the estimated earning way up then the exchange went offline and all coins went to a 0 value so now we have to disable skunk until the API settles back to were it should be.

I don't control the source of our API data but i can start on V4 of my caching api to check for these spikes later today.

I changed driver and mining software at same time...
Need to investigate if it's hardware related or not.
Mining is lot's of fun  :P

Thanks !

I have seen that happen with failing risers or dirty PCIE sockets.

Make sense, I just came back from my shed. I cleaned my Rig with compressed air but didn't clean GPU contact.
If it fail again, I will clean them with alcohol and Q-tips.

Yes I will be removing some algo's and the skunk is estimated high zpool API is still normalizing back to how it should be.

Not yet but it is in my road map to do, I have 10 different versions each has a different feature. Just have to finish each one then I can release them.

Attention:
Someone mining BTC on zpool with a rig name of SPrig2 your rig is stuck mining the dev fee please close zpoolminer and relaunch for some reason the rig must have stopped mining while mining the devfee and it got stuck there.

Honestly zpool pays better if your US or EU and ahash pays better if your further away as zpools servers are in Canada.

I do have a version being worked on that will have API caching that should stop the internet loss issues.

Yea my target is $100 per day per pool version.
Once each $100 gets achieved for a steady 7 days we reduce the dev fee in the next release.

Example zpoolminer just had a $211 24hr dev fee payout but it looks like it was a spike we will see over the next few days.
If this is paying more than $100 per day the fee will reduce to 5Min for me after 6 hours for you
Then when it hits $200 per day dev fee will reduce again to 8Min for me after 12 hours for you
and so on. I am not here to be greedy just here to make a living.

Announcement: Version 1.9.1.0 for zpool has been delayed slightly while I do more code cleanup to improve performance and work on getting hardware info on the main mining page.

Ahash version coming in a few days. not currently a high priority as very  few people are using it.

Notes.

Did not have time to work on the benchmark copying script so take these steps before running the installer.
1. Copy your benchmark_GPU files from the configs folder
2. Install the new zPoolMiner
3. Run zPoolMiner and download all Bins.
4. Close zPoolMiner
5. Copy your saved benchmark_GPU files into the new configs folder overwriting the ones created by default

Additions include:
CPUmining
Local api caching
Debug Console improvements.

Okay ive downloaded latest zpool version and started benchmarking on my machines. On one of my machines the new neoscrypt miner HSR gives me MSVCR120.dll error. Ive tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling this but no luck at all. Any suggestions, because as i see t his is maybe the most profitable right now to mine. Thx in advance.

The machine ive got the problem is gtx 1070 with win 10 . Ive got 2 other machines with 1060 6gb with win 10 and my gaming pc with the same 1070 like my 1st rig and i dont have problem there.

Edit - Okay as it seems that this particular rig i didnt turned windows deff off and the miner was not in the exceptions and defender deleted the miner .exe files. Now its benchmarking and will run smooth i think :)

Does the devfee counter take into account that the benchmarks are being mined on your account rather than ours also? If not, that adds up to significantly more than the advertised fee amount, especially when you actually set the timer for long enough to get actual decent readings from the various miners.

It does not, the only reason AMD cards mine to the dev fee is that was the chosen work around at the time for them not having a builtin benchmarking option. You are right it does slightly boost the dev fee but you do not have to re benchmark unless there is a major update in the miners such as switching to a different kernel which has been suggested for Xevan on AMD.

I will make it so that by the time 1.9.1.0 is released that benchmarking for AMD goes to your wallet address instead of the devfee.

This is really awesome. Thank you for such a great miner for the newbie (me!)

Would it be possible to include multipool support in the one application?

For example, at the moment I have found that the most profitable cpu mining for me is crptonight. I assume thats not included your miner because zpool doesn't support that coin?

Is that something that could be done in the future - where you could specify which device (cpu/gpu) mines to which pool?

That could also facilitate some testing if you could direct devices to pools individually without the need for multiple rigs.

Thanks for the reply, that's fantastic.

Your miner I think is the 4th i have come across since I started just under a month ago and by far the most user friendly for myself.

I was only wondering if it's possible since im not very programming technical at all and I would still be using your program for my gpus even if it wasn't.

A big thanks. As your software has:

1. made me money
2. allowed me to spend more of my time learning more about crypto and everything else that goes with them, and less time tinkering with the mining as your program just works and i can comfortably set it and forget it.

Also, would you have any suggestion for any of the settings included? I have pretty much left them all stock apart from showing the mining window and enabling the P0 state as your tooltip advised it could potentially improve performance.

I have 2 pc's at the moment - 1 with a 1080ti and 1 with a 1070.

Once again, thank you for the program and for any advice you may have.

Currently the default settings are pretty good, One thing to try since you do not have more than 4 cards in a system is to enable the unchecked miners in the benchmarking page as alexis works best with less than 4 cards per system.

One of the next things in our list is combining our versions into one miner making pool selection possible along with the ability to save different payout coins as a option for pools that support it.

I am earning 30-40% more than I would on nicehash from my experience.

Yea some people start seeing the $ flow and it takes them over. I just brought on a 2nd developer as it was to much for me but we both agree that a fee reduction at $100 per day is still fair.

Update Notice:

We are in the final testing phase for 1.9.0.5 now this version will include many bug fixes and additions including:
Fixing how mining the devfee is handled - Fixing getting stuck mining the devfee which started happening after the additions of CPU mining
GPU temp stats and Monitoring with audible beep alert if a GPU temp is out of range.
On screen notice of if mining for the user or the developer
And a few other small tweaks in the coding.

Currently each card will mine the most profitable algo already.
Planning over the next few releases is adding the following pools to a selection box Nicehash, zPool, Ahashpool, MPH, Hashrefinery but this will get done after we make the program able to handle multiple pools from a single application.
Then we plan to implement the ability to auto pool switch on top of the auto profit switching.

I have set PHI profitability to 0 in my API as the Stratum is once again not setting the correct VARDIFF costing us about 90% of our estimated earnings.
Update 1 hr later PHI is re-enabled for now but I am watching for vardiff instability.

If the temps go high or low and you have Temp Monitoring on and a speaker connected to the system it will beep if temps go to high or to low.
Temps being low would tell you if a card stopped hashing or if a miner hung.
High temps are to let you know a card is overheating.

NO. On zpool why do you switch he refills LTC daily. also there is not way for the api to check and see if anything is short.

First release will require you BTC address to be used as it will switch between zpool, ahash, and hashrefindery which at least 1 of those requires BTC as the payout coin. this is just step 1 of the multi switching version.

Well, Ahash version major bug fix, Devfee Fix will be released shortly, No one told me that AMD benchmarking was not working for ahash.

If you want to test the pre-alpha-release for multi pool profit switching here it is (Only works with BTC address).
https://crypominer937.tk/Downloads/Unstable/MiltiPool_Miner_1.9.0.6-pre-alpha.zip
Pools used are nicehash for cryptonight, ahashpool, zpool, hashrefinery.

WARNING: Pre-Alpha releases are considered as unstable and may be filled with bugs that have not been found.

very nice :)

two things:
- able to define the server (e.g. EU)
- Nicehash -Wallet Adresse adding...
- including all cpuminer-opt variants, for some algo i get better performance as AES-AVX

and, keep working on this tool, i lovin it :)

XMR Stak CPU doesnt seem to be running optimally.

I have 2 systems that I mined intensecoin with on a seperate xmrstak cpu miner.

XMR Stak cpu standalone miner
6700k @ 4.4ghz - 300h/s (+/- 30/s)
Ryzen5 1600 @ 3.8ghz/s - 500h/s (+/- 50h/s)

Multipool Miner
6700k @ 4.4ghz -  159h/s
Ryzen5 1600 @ 3.8ghz/s - 267h/s

For Reference this is the config that XMR Stak generated for me on first run for each cpu:

6700k:

"cpu_threads_conf" :
[
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 0 },
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 2 },
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 4 },
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 6 },
],

Ryzen 5 1600:

"cpu_threads_conf" :
[
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 0 },

Found a partial fix for this, if you run xmr-stak-cpu without setting the thread count on the I7 6700K it uses every other thread giving about 250h/s or more but the program is trying to set it to use 7 threads so go into settings and set less threads for the cpu on xmr-stak-cpu to 4 and you will get better speeds.

I wonder if there is a newer version of XMR Stak will look into this as we progress through the fine tuning. personally from my AMD's I get better speeds from xmrig but have not gotten it working with this version yet.

He there cryptominer ive got a question for you.

I dont know if this have been discussed but i think zpool use PPLNS and so is my question about that.

I dont know if your program use this but there are some algos that takes time to find a block ( phi and bitcore are the ones i know of ). And from time to time the miner switch to them.

So my question is : Can your miner detect when the new block is found of one of these algos before eventually switching to another more profitable algo or it just switch to it before the block is found ( loosing some of the profits ) ?

*Edit - From the pool owned (Zpool) "the scheme is PROP not PPLNS"- this means that i wont get payed if i left the algo before the block is found. I really wanna know if the program detect this or nor so i can make my plans on which algo to keep and which not.

using the prop method your shares will always have some value when the next block is found, zpoolminer uses normalization to prevent rapid switching to make sure you are mining the best long term algo.

Yeah i saw that because the pool didnt find block in like almost 3 hours and had to switch.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

Yea, we get our pricing info from blockchain.info for now and there api may have gone offline. Just click continue and it will refresh. It does not stop mining it just gives you the error. I will add a exception handler for the next release.

Can anyone confirm estimate profitability.
ZPoolMiner constantly showing  0.0012xxxx  BTC/Day,   14 USD/Day.

Now, im running this for 3 hours and it should be  0.0012 / 8 =  0.00015 BTC for 3 Hours , but i only got Total Earned 0.00007298 BTC
Which less then half that should actually mine, i know 3 hours is not much time to get accurate estimate,
but still 50% of estimate earning is not very promising.

Any ideas?

To get a decent measurement on zpool it takes 48-72 hours. Also currently it is recommended to disable lyra2v2 for your cards as zpool is over estimating the profitability most likely due to them setting 0 profitability for coins on StocksExchangeR.

Any chance of a zpool miner update that includes the xmrstak cpu miner as it's so much better than mining yescrypt (at least for me).

I just replaced my motherboard in my mining rig (Corn crap to ASRock H81) and did a fresh install of Win10 and nVidia drivers. Fresh install of ZpoolMiner v1.9.0.5. All four boards recognized. Ran benchmarks overnight. Now when I start mining, it looks like nothing is happening. Status shows Mining Devices [N/A] Speed N/A Rate 0.000000... If I enable my CPU, I get mining activity there and that shows up in Zpool. But nothing from the GPUs and their temps stay steady.

Log file says:

Update: I disabled all but one GPU and disabled all ccminer algorithms on that CPU (leaving just equihash). Starting mining on equihash works. So I'm guessing this is a ccminer problem...

Update: Disabling X17 seems to have done the trick. Everything else is working now. I can run ccminer_x64 -a X17... with ccminer 2.2 and it works fine. Not sure what's up the ccminer binary that ZpoolMiner downloaded.

Sounds like either a driver issue or windows defender deleting Miners. Recommended drivers for nvidia are 388.31 or newer as many of the ccminers included require cuda 9 support except 2.2 and x11gost

Any chance of a zpool miner update that includes the xmrstak cpu miner as it's so much better than mining yescrypt (at least for me).

If you join the discord we are working on a multipool version that already has xmrstack for cpuminer working mining cryptonight to nicehash.

Remember the multipool miner will eventually replace all existing version but it is still in early alpha phase of development.

have 2 X 1080Ti and ZpoomMiner is showing very high daily estimate 0.012 BTC/Day but after whole day of mining i didnt get anything

I already turned off Lyra2rev2 cose of bad estimate, and Timetravel seems to autoswitch to no profit at all, any more algos that dont work and need to be turned off?

Expect Hash-Kings Multipool Miner 1.9.0.6-Pre4 in 24-48 hours (Available in our development discord) - Small delay dealing with converting the MPH API over to our API standard.
This includes the following
Ability to set wallets\usernames and workers per pool
Ability to select what pools to use
Smaller normalization
Support for 10 Pool, more in the future

RC #1 Includes a lot of major changes so you will want to fully re-benchmark and I recommend setting normalization in settings to 10, then set your addresses/usernames/workers/passwords in settings, then select your preferred pools (3-5 is best) This will require a program restart, then benchmark and from there you should be good to go.

Remember to add the program folder to any AV exclusion list or you will get stuck in a miner download loop.

We are in the process of building our new website under the new company name (Hash-Kings)

It is still only a Release Candidate so it is not yet a full release as it has passed internal testing (Alpha) but has only migrated to real world testing (beta) After a few weeks and bug reports/ fixes will it hit (release).

Equihash (DSTM) keeps terminating at benchmark, do I need to do something special for that miner?

DSTM has had random issues since the RC released, sometimes closing the benchmark and re-opening fixes it. But I will address what we find before RC 2

Hi, Cryptominer937!

I love to see great potential miners/GUIs rising like yours. It's really awesome! I will run your miner today when I go to home.

I was very intersted about the Awesomeminer Coin Updater by soothaa, 'cause it catches newer coins that doesn't figure in WhatToMine yet, and are more profitable. Do you are planning to add these new coins? Or do you are planning keep at multipools?

The perfect balance would be mine newer coins when they are profitable and do the auto-exchange (if the usar want to). It could allow to mine coins before the user know the coin and avoid the wallet/exchange need.

But simply to add the custom pools option and the scan from network (exchanges/pools/block explorers) can improve the profitability and experience using the miner.

Thanks for your answer. Keep pushing!  ;)

Something that would be cool to see is a central interface online, that will report total hashrate for all rigs and see which ones are online or offline.

This is because the latest versions remove 10% from all estimates in order to better account for pool fees in the estimated earnings.

Been using the 1906 RC1 for over a day now, i have activated zpool and mph, confirmed that its mining to both pools when only selecting one, but haven't seen it mine to anything but zpool. Is there always a more profitable coin on zpool than mph (according to the software calculations)?
Or is the miner currently only mining at zpool but has the ability to mine to different pools via selection in settings?

Also would be awesome to be able to select all and deselect all algo checkboxes ( for times when wanting to mine only 1 algo or to test etc) instead of having to check and uncheck each algo individually.

At this time we are asking that you do everything that you can to prevent restarting your miners as our current webhost is refusing to unblock over 50% of our users IP addresses, we ordered a dedicated server over the weekend but it has not been provisioned just yet. We expect it to be available in another day or 2 but until then there is only a little that we can do, I am working with conerd to come up with a temporary solution but he has to ask his current webhost a few questions first.

Hey Cryptominer, just ran across this switching service and I've found it quite interesting!

I noticed it's not well optimized for Vega cards... I have quite a few of different types.

Would be happy to work with you to optimize for them if you'd like.

We're getting to a point where profit switching for Vega is starting to make sense...

For a 64: 64MH/s on MKX for Lyra2Rev2, 2000 H/s on Cast for XMR, 2.1-2.4 MH/s on Claymore for Neoscrypt, ~500 Sol/s on Claymore for Equihash, as well as 42-45 MH/s on Phoenix/Claymore for Dagger.

These are all fairly competitive algorithms to run on a Vega (although Cryptonight still dominates, but is dropping by the day bc of the ASICs), depending on the day/power cost, as some of them are pretty power hungry.

I could see there being demand in this area!

My AMD miners keep resetting...lasts for 1 second then off one second then back, and so forth.

During, the pool name will show a pool and then says 'none' during the off times

Any suggestions?

BTW...it's all my amd rigs...5 of them.

Mostly rx 480's I think only one r9 290 (not currently overclocked)
running windows 10, have antivirus off and an exclusion to the hashking folder.

Blockchain driver is installed and I can run the miners fine using stand-alone miners

just updated to 1.13 and still same issue.

NVIDIA rigs work great!

I jumped on their discord (new link few posts up)  and the developers helped me fix the issue...It was continuously mining but the api was set too fast and since my mining rigs have a cheap processor (works great though) I lowered the miner api to every 10 seconds and it works great.

Big thanks to the devs on this...they jumped in within seconds on discord and even remotely checked (under supervision and although I was skeptical, I wouldn't hesitate to do this again with this team.) my system. Found the issue and within minutes I was mining.

I have a small mining operation (10 rigs) and they helped get half of them up within minutes other half (Nvidia) no issues. Highly recommend this team!

Double check that you have the algorithms enabled for all cards and that they all completed benchmarking as i have never had a issue unless I was using drivers newer than 388.31

In theory yes if you loaded windows on it. It is not a native mac application as there are very few mining programs for mac.

hi
Would appreciate you can incorporate new parameter in API
http://api.zergpool.com:8080/api/status
mbtc_mh_factor
thus we could change factor at pool to make more decimal precision for some algos and won't affect users
by switching to affected algo

Current development is windows only, our next platform would be Linux as mac OS has very few miners available and the best option is to run windows via bootstrap I think they call it. Yes we currently have AMD support.

How is this compared to Nicehash and Winminer ? What is the profitability daily , the average profitability daily for a mining rig of 6 Rx 580 series so I can make some calculation and may switch the boards of my colleagues to this software. I need to know this in advance though as it is a lot of work to be done from my side, too many computers.

Hi, is any reason, why is not DaggerHashimoto in Nicehash pool? And other algos under Nicehash?

Dagger should be available for nicehash. From my experience it is normally more profitable to mine at Nicehash than MiningPoolHub.

Also in the next week roughly we should have a new feature added for all the ethash/daggerhashimoto Nvidia miners.

If you have found this thread, look no further...

Coins, algos, miners, pools, software... wow it is a lot to take in.  I am quickly learning how all this works and I love learning the technicalities.  However, I'm also someone who wants efficiency.  That's were HK comes in.  I've tried direct pools and other software (e.g. the likes of NiceHash, etc.), but performance wasn't great and I don't like the exchange / dump process.

I found the HK software.  It is still in Beta, but i have my 8 card (AMD) cranking away very efficiently thanks to the awesome team at HK.  They are SUPER helpful and engaged on the discord channel.  They have already made a great piece of software, but are working to make it even better with additional offerings to come as well.

I encourage you to check out their tutorial videos.  They explain the benefits and ease of use in much better detail.  But, I would highly encourage you to check out the admin coins section.  That part of the app is of special interest and where I'm spending a lot of my mining time at the moment.

One last note... this may sound like a commercial for HK, but I have ZERO affiliation other that just becoming a very happy customer.  James and the whole exec team are incredibly supportive.  Seriously, try this software NOW!

At this time I can not afford to continue floating the costs to run the Hash-Kings API server, It is with great regret that I have to announce that in a few weeks the server will cancel at which time HK miner will stop functioning.

HK will return after I have the time to recode the program from the ground up keeping it completely self sufficient.
Also I will in time make 1 last version of the existing program that will be devfee free, not reliant on our server, but I can not give a ETA on it.

If you need a stable alternative I will recommend https://minerstat.com/ Coinscrow is a great developer and has made a great windows mining platform and Linux mining OS.

I hope many of you will stick around and see what we can do when we return but it does not make sense for us to keep a alpha version released when there is so much that needs fixed.

There will still be a version dedicated to mining SOV released that is based off our older open source zpoolminer as it will not require our API server to function.

platform mining is widely used at this time because it has enough ease to get results on mine. but for this new generation of Whalesburg be a good solution as mining platforms. many offered advantages to these platforms and of course, this will facilitate the performance of mining. with auto-switching algorithm and payment transparent sure the results will be satisfactory.
