I joined Pump and Dump groups and burned some coins twice withing a couple of minutes. Just stay away from this groups, you will lose. I tested "The big pump" and another smaller one "Crypto Pump Diary". Only the admin and maybe a few others will have profit, but most of you will just pay for it.

Do not make the same stupid mistake and stay away from this. It is mostly scam.

Pump groups always load up on a coin before getting their members to pump it. That way the admins make profits by dumping on the members. Just stay away.

Very true. always stay away from these kind of groups. maybe you get lucky 1 time out of 10 but 89 times you get burn. just select the nice project and invest in it and stay away from everydays worries.

those kind of groups always contains in several layers of innercircles, so really just stay away because you'll most likely will buying when the reach their sellpoints and you will get burned.

You should stay away from pump and dump groups because they are immoral (and possibly illegal). I can promise you that at least one person in every group has ill intent. Even a perfect group is still trying to make profit, not from investing or even trading, but by hoping for suckers. Even if you are profitable, you are not doing something positive with your life.

Consider yourself lucky that you haven't lost a lot. I know people who have lost thousands of dollars due to one of those groups.
Also, recently the govt has been cracking up on several block chain related companies so it's better to stay away from them as the exchange might also suspend your account if they get to know you're involved in one of these groups.

The pump and dump coin prosper on the expanse of its own members.
The group first buys a specific coin and later call it for pump.
While the poor members are trying hard to pump it, the group dumps its share for a profit.

i also do not trust on them. I stay on some bigger exchanges where a large number of traders buy and sell coins and I examine coins on that exchange and when I see a coin with a high potential I do invest in that coin. So I am away from the loses like you faced and I always earn a good profit from my trade and investment in any coin.

Yes, it true you should stay away from pump and dump groups, so far i think it is the worst thing in cryptocurrencies. I will suggest you not to join it because it has a high risk to make profit. It is a scam and illegal way that fool innocent people and play with their emotions.

Unfortunately I am glad when people get burned like this, because you tried to scam the others and ended up being scammed yourself. Hope you learned a lesson. If you are a pumper get the F out of the CryptoWorld

ALL P&D groups are made only for admin's profit. Or maybe and just maybe for some of their paid members. But they are amoral and I'm staying away.

i heard about this groups aint this groups that makes focus on a certain coin and they make it up i did not glad i did not join their movement and that because i beleive in my techniques in trading.

One of my friends, thus trying to quickly and earn a lot, lost tokens worth about $ 1000.  This is beneficial only for admins of Pump groups, and a good lesson for those who are hungry for quick earnings.  The main thing is that he understood on time and did not merge all the coins.

the only people making profits in this groups are admins. they buy the coins and ask members of this group to pump it.

yu can make profits but it depends of you entry point and your degree of greediness.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. By the time they have started the group, they've already invested in the coins that they will ask the members to "pump". I mean, you don't know those people, why else would you trust that they will not do that to you.

It would be nice if an honest group can be formed, though that's unlikely. Like, maybe the group would accumulate members first, and then they can have someone (or maybe a program) to generate an initial list of alts for them. After some voting and another round of randomization, an alt would be picked and that would be the one that the group would pump and members would be required to show proof that they have not pumped that prior to formation of the group.

all pump groups are fake come on guys ten thousand people cant make profit same time. in order to make money for few people, many of them lose their money fast. stay away from pump group you can find your way with searching

Yes I agree you should watch out with most groups!

I never joined a pump-dump group but i regard the ones who join a pump-dump group as eager to give his money to admins of group.

I would rather rely on statistics than pump dump group.When in the business that include so much money,you can't expect others to decide for you,people who blindly follow the instructions will surely lose their money.Just spend your time reading the news about top 10 coin and see their price movement,only then you can decide to buy or sell by yourself based on the data that you know.

At-time is way some people thing baffle me, why do you thing there is a free money somewhere, most of these guys would have already buy into the coins they want to pump a month or two before making the name of the coin public, then what they do is to start selling when the price is going up and you will turn to bagholder

Yes, no one, especially beginners, should participate in such groups. You can join in to see, draw conclusions. See that the growth is only 3 minutes, while you open your order. But as soon as you bought - the price falls. Because admins bought this coin before they advise you. It brings income to other people, but does not work for your growth.

This is actually example of ponzi sites that actually offers investors high return they are using the money to buy bitcoin and others coins and hold till the price pump but they will not return any amount to those investors and they will be gone in an instant. People should be careful and instead of joining any groups better make your own judgement and investment at least you can make a much wiser decision and you can assure that your money were safe

Completely agree on that, good advice. In those groups only the admin and maybe some other guys make profits, the others don't.

Pump and Dump groups are not created to make profit for their members. Pump and Dump groups are created to use their members for to pump the price and pay the profit for leaders of the group. So don't be fool and stay away.

How do you identify a pump and dump group?  I will do some research on this but if someone can provide a way to tell I will be thankful.

The wisest thing to do in crypto world is to use your own brain rather than these stupid pumps and dump groups.

Pumps and dumps will always be there when there is a coin that has a high price. There is a lot of coins that will be manipulated though they can do well if they are worked on.

People will always fall for it , they can't or don't want to do the research for themselves so they think they can choose the easy way out.

Those Pump and Dump group are toxic for Cryptocurrency market. They are created to lure newbies into greedy trap hole and to make profit for a small group of people. Unfortunately, we don't have any kind of regulation to prevent that. Unless we create somethings else to lead the market differently, would we?

I joined one of these pump and dump groups and within the same day I unsubscribe. How can only the admin knows the coin to trade on and what wonders me is we get the notification only a minute to the pump. So it means we are all making the admin money.

Most of the P&D groups are just another form of scam. The group leaders are the only people who really make money by dumping on other members, and since the amateur members understand something's wrong after a few so called pumps, the projects keep getting smaller and smaller until they die.

Actually, the pump and dump newsgroups are the groups whose owners have bought their coin they have long known for low prices, then they use tricks to push the coin's value up and Making pump dump informational groups is part of their tricks. When you follow that news, most of you will lose money because the news will sell when the coin increases and you will not sell out or you will get very little profit.

There was the time when i took a part in pumps - twice. It was enough to understand that it is a loose of time and no more. In this pumps win just the the organizers of these pump groups. Stay away from this, very high chance of money loosing. In addition this may cause of the account ban. Bittrex practiced such methods.

Because of this groups many people left Crypto trade. this group make killing cryptocurrency trade. stay away this groups!
