We are proposing a new algorithm POE, so a lot of changes have to be made in order to this to work, that is why a new blockchain is proposed.

Thanks for your post. We have two main goals.

1. Our goal is to introduce POE (Proof of exercise) basically by linking the GYM Rewards APP, Heart Rate monitor and the blockchain we will be able to mine using our heart beats. Initially we will also have POW (needed to actually move the blockchain at first), however, the goal is that once there are enough people exercising we can remove POW and leave a human mining blockchain in the ecosystem.
2. Give people like me an additional motivation to go to the gym and exercise. Trying to expand my lifetime :)

Why we need the blockchain?

1. Because we want rewards to be decentralized, without a middle man owning the coin value.
2. Because we want rewards value to depend on human effort and not giant mining farms.
3. Because we do not want the data to be controlled by a central authority.

Hi Capone, The token holders will actually quarterly earning in relation to their Token Market share. This is how it works.

During ICO we have a max of 1,000,000,000 tokens available for sale and distribution. After the ICO, the left over tokens will be burned, This makes the amount of tokens sold and distributed the amount of tokens, (the new max token cap). Then there is GYM Coin, GYM will run in a new blockchain (Ethereum Fork) These new GYM coin will be premined in the equal amount of Tokens sold during the ICO and distributed on 1 : 1 to token holders. These leaves us with two main benefits.

1. Distribution of GYM Coins in the amount of 1 to 1 to token holders.
2. Quarterly distribution of the 3% of blockchain fees among token holders in the equal amount of their holding market share.

This are some benefits of the Token holder, however, the one I am most excited about is to allow people to mine with their bodies.

I agree with you 100% GYMs will not accept cryptocurrency, however, we have a plan for them to accept GYM Reward Coins as discounts of their memberships. Check it out...

1. Users will be using the app and getting Cryptocurrency.
2. The App will generate an app download QRCode and Link that will allow for users to use it to earn a % from the GYM Tokens generated by other users.
3. The gyms will love to have these download QR Code in their door for all of their users to download the app and leave them the % of GYM Reward Coins.
4. We are working on a partnership with a large gym here in the US (900 locations in USA) all they have to do is put a sticker in all of their location doors and they will be getting a % of their customers mining GYM Rewards Coins. We started to work with a large chain here in US. They have 900 locations. We also believe that on once users start downloading and using the app there is a potential of people moving to a participating gym. So more should come onboard to avoid losig customers.

I think this is a great application of the blockchain technology. Most in our society (at least in America) need to have some incentive or motivation to get out and do anything, even if it is for their own health, so this is a great work around to that. Much success!!!

Thanks for your quality on. Our plans for GYMs is for them to accept the currency for discounts and membership itself. They could accepted at a smaller rate than the market and make a profit. Or they could use the app download share link that the app will offer to the promote the app at their gym so that so that a % of all of their members using the app goes to their wallet account. Basically the gyms will benefit as if they were an affiliate. The other side of the coin is, gyms that do not participate could lose customers if we go mainstream and they are not an affiliated gym.

Note: We are already having meeting with a 900 location gym here in USA and will hire sales people to get gyms onboard at they countries.

Our target is people who struggle and want to go to the gym. And of course, those who want to get paid for exercising.

We probably didn't explain it well, or you have not understand it yet. But, basically, we need a blockchain, for the following reasons. Check the whitepaper.

1. We do not want anyone to be in control of the rewards earned by exercisers.
2. We need a blockchain to mine with the mobile app. (The heart rate monitor and the app will server as the Proof of Exercise)
3. We don't want people to be cheated out of their efforts. We all know what can go wrong if someone was holding the money in a bag and distribute at will.
4. How else you can really mine cryptocurrency with your body?
5. There are many more reasons, but these are the ones that motivated me to do the project.

Ok, Our blockchain will allow for the mobile app to use the collected data from the heart rate monitor as proof of exercise. Our goal is to allow people to get paid for exercising. The app will use GEOlocation (To make sure they are at an sports complex GYM) and Submit the data to the blockchain. Initially we will need to have POW to support the blockchain, but eventually, when we have enough mobile devices power, we will remove POW and leave POE on it's own. The Token is for funding, the App will run a a new ETH fork. Why? Because we want to be able to be able to do free contracts and contracts that pay their fees with their own token under certain conditions.

Wanted to add, Everything can be done without the blockchain. Everything works fine without blockchain. What the blockchain does is add additional value and deliver the much needed trustless applications. Kind of important to know, because the statement, I know of X and works fine without blockchain is a bit misleading.

This is a really cool idea. I wonder how token value will increase? Is the idea that people with a certain number of gym tokens will get discounts at their local gym? Cheaper equipment that kind of thing?

The idea is for GYMs to embrace it, they can use it as discounts and actually trade them for profits.
We have a 900 locations gym here in USA interested already, we are negotiating.  It’s a great deal for them, they only have to advertise in their GYMs and we will Tran them on how to accept and trade the tokens in exchanges. We may even consider doin the trading ourselves for all gyms and just exchange them instantly.

Depending on the country/state you are thinking of launching in I think there are different rules around if a health insurer can provide discounts to consumers for taking preventative action to improve their health, thereby reducing their risk profile for insurance.

It's a full solution. Basically, you earn GYM Tokens mining via the APP (Using heart rate monitor and location awareness). The app has its own cryptocurrency wallet to send and receive. You can then use the tokens for discounts or products.
The GYM Rewards portal will launch in May 15th with a GYM/BTC and GYM/ETH exchange to support those gyms and partners that accept the coin for membership discounts or merchandise.

We have more plans, but these are the essentials and initial ones.

Never used bountyhive but looks like a good setup. Will look at it more closely later.

1. ICO funding not going as well as we need it. Things may pick up now that crypto is rebounding lets see.
2. Funded or not funded we are moving forward with the development. We are expecting beta in July. If not funded, the only difference would be that the app would be sold instead of being a free download.
3. We are also launching our own exchange, waiting for a due day update on this.
4. WE have a few people actively working on adding GYM in additional exchanges.
