It is never about the price, it is all about the market cap of the coin, read about it.

Yea but the market cap is linked to the coin it self ,if the coin doesn't offer something ,no one will invest on it .

Apart from the fact it's much higher than 10 cents already. Verge is currently hovering around 10 cents and could be the big thing for 2018. The price increased a lot in late 2017 but it's a great privacy coin and can increase towards $1 across the year.

I wiil suggest you do a thorough research yourself and pick your choice for investment. But mind you, digital currency is all about market cap.

For me, dogecoin is the best one under 10 cents.

Low fees, fast transactions, it is a perfect coin.. Only that the dev's are not active at the moment.

It is never about the price or the marketcap actually. The most important thing is the project and the team and then looking at the overarching industry of cryptos and what coins compare to it. Reading is integral to success but we can all agree price makes no difference.

it is very difficult to choose a coin that costs below 10 cents and has the potential to be the best. if any, may be found at the time of ICO, because usually when ICO likes to have a big discount.

why not try your luck by investing on coin that still low marketcap. I did it with zoin when it under 10 cent and now the price are above $1, so I suggest you to find low marketcap coin that have an active developer & community, its just like gambling btw  :D

Coin price = market cap * supply
Market cap is everything, if a 10 cent coin with a huge supply has a billion dollar cap and you expect this coin to go to $1, it has to get a 10 billion dollar cap

Now take a coin with a small supply, $5 in price and a 100 million cap, it goes up 10x to $50 in price with a 1 billion dollar cap, much much more likely.

A simple approach to gauging the potential multiplier is to look at the market cap, look at the coins above the one you have interest in and then gauge if it's possible to reach their cap, a hype coin won't knock anything out of the top 10.

When you see coins like Ripple at $1.60 with a 50 billion dollar cap, for this to go up 4x in price it will be valued higher than bitcoin in market cap, it would become the #1 coin, THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

Buy universa, it has never been lower than ICO price in terms of USD, and it just decreased from 5x to 1,6x in USD due to decrease of ETH. It is a potential one with own blockchain,they are about to release mainnet

It is crypto platform we don't predict any future possibilities so better you should invest in top trending coin or you should research your own way because few peoples are expecting cheap and best coin it is hard to analyse. Cardano has a potential but i already invest my money in tron which is also good . I do not want to change my investment portfolio as the private key were already on very secured place which will cost me 100 usd to open it  ;D , so i cannot open it . I will just invest even small amount in cardano if I will have extra money .

You are looking at this wrong. Its not the price that matters but the market cap. A coin can be one cent but have a less potential to grow than a coin with one dollar as its price but lower market cap than the one cent coin. Always look at the market cap for the potential of a coin to grow.

Looking at all suggested coins posted above it looks like you have to spend a couple of hours to check them all. If you feel not comfortable of doing it,  then much better if you directly visit on coinmarketcap.com and to see what is best for you. Only I can suggest is to choose coins that have a good market trend and considering it's market volume also.

I may suggest to have tron, Ada and Rdd coin at you list. The potentiality of these coins really ensure you to ha have a good profit in the future.  But of course,  you have your own aspect of choice and your final decisions will really matter.

I would advise you to purchase obsidian and thekey. This is really two amazing coins, which are very popular among the Eastern countries.

I like unify because ıts total supply is very low. Last bull season it went up $0.60 from $0.03 .

I think the reason why some people buy altcoins because this is cheap ( less than 10 cents in our case) it nothing but brain trap. If coin have a perspective and for example you want to buy any coin and spend for that 100$ . What is the difference between 1 coins costs 100 $ or 1000 coins that cost 100$. you can select anyone from these but have look on these and select as per your requirement. You should set some criteria for investment, it should not be price only.

So many alternate coins that are still newly listed in the cryptomarkets while others who are already in the cryptomarket for a couple of years still remains at a low price. For me, i have this cryptos in my portfolio namely:

if you want some nice gains i suggest you to take a look at some cool project that i founded in the past months: Universa (utn) i think it's an hidden gem, it's mostly unknown but in a month i think it can explode, now it's just at 0,02$, i think it can get easily in the top 20 of cmc. At this price there are many options such as CMT (CyberMiles), BAX (BABB) or Stellar (XLM), ... But people love to pay attention to coin marketcap than the price of coin.

I see some of these coins have potential in the market and has the ability to reach higher value in the market. Holding will give good returns with the increase in market cap.

Keep an eye on Graft also, the idea is very good low cap right now, price (<10 cents) they have some problems but if they will be listed on a bigger exchange its a good chance to hit x 10. :o

If it is a little gem then what is the use of investing in it when people have option of big gems like bitcoin, ethereum, neo or litecoin. Trying out new coins is not bad. But one must grab the old and potential ones first. This way, he will not face a total loss at least. Diversification is good only if there are some productive coins in the holdings’ list too.
