does it mean that a bounty hunter will have to register to your platform to which you guys are going to act like the escrow for the projects?
bounty hunters will not be on the project's dashboard, correct?

this would also mean that you manages the bounty campaign. isn't there an existing project like this one too but didn't do an ICO?

I am not aware of anything that has all the features Bountyhive has in a fully functional package.

Question: How to count the week, from the beginning of the bounty (for example start from January 25, then from Thursday to Wednesday)?

A week is counted differently for each campaign and it's calculated this way: date of campaign start + 7 days (I think you may have already understood that).

Hot damn, you guys are good. If only I could add my other on-going bounty campaigns right now. I'd definitely pursue using your platform. It is indeed a big help for bounty hunters like me. Those automated bounty campaign reporting sheets somehow helps the bounty community be more active and productive by saving lil  bit of time from organizing report format sheets, and the fact that all the projects that is in the site is legit would make a huge difference on how to bounty hunting community progresses. For other bounty hunting starters out there this one is really worth checking out.

i have a question regarding the reporting for the proof of our work on twitter and/or facebook, do we need to report our fb shares and twitter retweet links on the thread or it will be check manually by the bountyhive team and all we need to do is just to RT/Share? thanks

I think the process is automated so I don't think you will have to post weekly reports here. If I turn out to be wrong then am sorry.

Hi sir, I'm no dev but we're a community after all so I might as well share. Try to find a 'dropdown' button at the upper left of the screen whenever you click an on-going project. Default display would be the 'Translation' Campaign, that's why you keep seeing translation. Try clicking on the 'dropdown' button on the upper left corner and try to click other bounty campaigns; like 'twitter', 'facebook', and others.

Edit: Just to be clear, the dropdown button is labeled (at default) 'Translation'.

You're absolutely right, the process is automated but we can't see our proof-of-work week-wise; imagine the time we would save every time we log in and not double check our progress regarding on how much we posted /shared, retweeted already about the on-going projects that we participated.

Sure it's automated but we again would have to double check if we already sufficed the required posts needed on a specific project, I try to asked one of the telegram guys; and their developers are in on-going project development right now and they value the inputs we feedback we give as users of the platform, so keep the insights rolling boys! You do not need to receive an "OK" or "Declined" response for other types of bounties, just for translations.

You just have to click on the "Participate" button for other types of entries, your entry is automatically considered valid!

Do we get any weekly status? Like... week successfully concluded. Or something like that.

It was useful for Signature Campaign to check if the minimum posts were accomplished, and the weekly stakes.
For twitter, for getting the number of tweets/retweets, and the corresponding stakes.

We don't use stakes. It was a very counterintuitive (trust me, I've managed 18+ campaigns here) system only used on Bitcointalk.

You get paid directly in tokens at the end of the campaign!

I have one question. How you will manage payout for participants? For example if i Joined any signature campign and filled the form and then my entry will be stored in your website or in you have any spreadsheet for this?

We don’t have spreadsheets, this is a platform with a database, not an excel document.

You can see which bounties you're participating in by going to the "My Campaigns" page, if you see your entry there, you are participating!

I dont know how Bounty hive evaluate the translators. I tried to join the translation campaign, but all projects were reserved.
So is that true Bounty hive choose the translator like the first register - the first get reservation? If it's the case, it's not competitive and the best translator/moderator may not be chosen.

We do not have a first come - first serve policy. We have a "translation request system" and we wait a few days for all users to be able to request translations. After that period passes, our staff checks all requests and accepts/denies them. We always award translations to different (eligible) users. You just got in way too late.

I understand that you want to end spreadsheets, but how can we follow our participations??
In "My Campaigns" page you can only see where you apply to. But how to see if I fulfill all requires posts for my signature campaign? If I've done all required retweets?

There is missing a way to verify how my campaigns are going...

I can be happy that I will get a bunch of token for my signature campaign, but at the end I receive none because only 9 of my 10 posts had the requires minimum words!

We are constantly adding new features on Bountyhive (https://boutyhive.io) and we are planning on adding a bunch more.

If you carefully read & follow the simple rules & guidelines for the bounty types you entered (they are the same for each campaign for the exact reason to be easy to follow) there is no reason to worry. We know what entries should be accepted or not. As you said it yourself, you won't get tokens if you don't follow the rules, but you can't reasonably think it comes close to 9 good posts out of 10 (given your example).


We value the work of our Bounty Hunters, a minimum of 90% quota for a bounty type is required, not a perfect 100% (keep in mind that this is total for the whole period, not per week/day). Less than 90% is not accepted, given the very lenient conditions.

Perhaps it's a good idea to split thread and whitepaper translations. I'm usually more interested in threads than whitepapers. Some other translators only want to do whitepapers. In this way more translators could get involved. I would probably do more whitepapers if projects delivered original document formats instead of pdf's. Often more time is spent redesigning in-pdf layout than with translating.

The current system was created after more than 6 months of brainstorming and a year of constant Bounty Campaigns!

I get what you're saying, but splitting the translations creates other problems you may not think of.

Yes, everyone will get awareness about the new projects, already we are seeing there is huge community supporting the Bountyhive. Now there is no problem of verifying directly we can link our Bitcointalk account to the Bountyhive website.

i put my eth address for Pindify but when  i went back to check, it wasnt in the field - not sure if its a website bug or not. Added again.
Tokens were distributed few hours ago and is still being distributed according to the admins - I hope this doesnt do much damage otherwise hard work removed by a simple bug :(

Recently, you added new row in the rules for twitter participants "Your Twitter Audit must not be older than a month". I wanted to ask, should I put twitter audit link in profile setting (didn't find this option on bountyhive), or do you check it on your own? Also, I got by now 1m.1w. audit report on twitteraudit com, and have a problem to reaudit it with a payment method. But, I started participation when audit was less than 1 month old. So, is it ok? or must be like this by the end of certain campaign.  Could you please advise how to understand this new rule, and which option do I have for update regulary?

Write where I'm wrong. ICO Dropil, for twitter and FB, the same number of tokens are allocated, on Twitter there are more participants.

There must be more tokens for the FB than for Twitter.

Its more than a 3 week still issue not resolved . I cant able to aprticipate any other campaign because of this restriction .

This is one of the most ridiculous reason to not give out any stakes. Why should not you give any stakes in basis of the last twitter audit.

The website claims to be easy to use and a standalone platform, but use medium and telegram for their news/updates. When you ask their support staff any question, they will respond with extreme attitude and mock your suggestions.

The platform also limits your twitter campaigns to 15. Why? Because the bountyhive system only checks your twitter At the end of campaigns, meaning your archived tweets from the beginning of the campaign won’t count and they don’t even tell you about this limitation until you’re already signed up for 15. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it were somewhere on the website before signing up for 15, but if their issues stem from archiving posts, the same issues would still stand if you’re signed up for any bounties across any platform. When I mentioned people signing up might already have 15 bounties, and informing them so late was dishonest, their staff said something to the effect of “we can’t track every bounthunters other campaigns” as if that were a good reason to not inform people before signing up for bountyhive.

Here is my personal problem, I am signed up for a total of 43 bounties across multiple websites(bountyhive/btt/Bounty0x) 20something of those are bountyhive. They didn’t notify the community of their lack of weekly stake checks, so I’ve done 8 weeks worth of nearly 22 different bounties for them that will now not be paid because their system is flawed and the tweets will be archived by then. Their staff seems annoyed with people who discuss this and will say things like “don’t come crying to me when your tweets don’t count,” as if I weren’t already discussing this issue because my tweets won’t count.

I feel like doing 2 months of work for 20something campaigns and not getting paid for those because of a flawed tracking system is SCAM behavior, especially if you’re failing to notify new participants of this glaring issues.

Honestly, this platform makes big promises, but I would much rather track myself with my own spreadsheets than not get paid due to a severe lack of transparency and system tracking. You can’t even see your weekly entries because of this and won’t know to stop doing the bounties you aren’t getting credit for.. how is this project designed for hunters again? The  hunters are treated like second class citizens, your escrow system is failing(iconic/skychain) and your tracking system doesn’t work. So much for bountyhive.

We are lucky that you actually come up on this kind of project, it's a easiest way to participate in bounties and earn tokens for users, no need of sign up again and again.

I now choose to look for bounty information on bountyplatform.io. Their platform seems more standardized. At present, bounty hunters are most concerned about not getting paid. I think your platform can consider introducing a bounty guarantee mechanism. Both project parties and bounty participants should pay a certain amount of ETH as a deposit. Once a party defaults, the ETH will be used to compensate the other party,and after the project is successfully completed and the payment obligation is fulfilled, the deposit will be returned promptly.

But they need more transparency. No spreadsheet is abuse easily. They need to show spreadsheets end of campaigns at least.

We do not offer “promises” and no Bountyhive employee ever “promised” anything to you as it isn’t even in their power to do that. The most they did I presume was to ask for your username so the verification team can give you some well-intentioned advice and feedback for future campaigns. If you have proof of a real “promise” of sending you any tokens, you are more than capable to post it here as a photo and I will be more than happy to pay the promise of any of my employees. 2. The matter of discussion here is your declined media entries, which are reposts of the threads of our translators on another forum. (this not being the sole reason of declining, of course, just a fact)


Let’s analyze each one of your entries and the reason you received on Bountyhive for them being declined (for users that do not know, if your entry gets declined, you also get a specific reason for it so you know what went wrong so you know what you can fix for your future campaigns), shall we?



First, I suppose you are not familiar with copyright laws as well, let me break it a bit to you. When a translator translates the Whitepaper or any of the ICO’s material in a Bounty Campaign, he gains the intellectual rights for that. By nature of their job on Bountyhive or any bounty, they pass those rights to the original ICO they translated it for and only the translator and ICO have the legal rights to use it. I assume you didn’t ask the original translator if he lets you copy his entire work (actual work, not copy pasting stuff like you consider work), didn’t you?


Now, let alone the fact that your “work” was to copy paste the original BBCode to other forums and that’s it (quite a tedious task I must say), you didn’t even bother to make the photos work for a long period of time or update the thread even with 1 teenie tiny post, AT ALL.

So, let’s go through all the reasons your entry can be invalidated:

This is just a collection, your entry didn't need even half of these reasons to be invalidated.

1. You didn’t ask the permission of the original translator (and just stole his work and claimed it as yours).
2. You copy-pasted the thread on other forums and that’s basically your submitted “content”.
3. “Your content” didn’t even get any traction so basically it was as good as not posting it at all. Keep in mind that the original thread you copied from bitcointalk got 36 whole pages while 5 of your threads got 0 (ZERO) replies.
4. You didn’t even bother to make the photos work for a good amount of time.
5. You didn’t even bother to update your threads you worked so much on with some basic news about the project.
6. We got better entries in terms of originality, quality and actual reach. MIND BLOWN, I know.

Let’s now do a conclusion, maybe I lost you during this:

1. It is quite obvious for everyone (except you it seems) that your actual content has to have some traction or else it doesn't help the ICO at all. The original thread posted by our Russian translator got 36 pages worth of traction. THIRTHY-SIX PAGES. MORE THAN SEVEN HUNDRED REPLIES. Meanwhile, your 5 threads? 0, NULL. Not even ONE reply. But probably 1000ETH invested, am I right?
2. Your threads are blatant copy paste's of the threads done by the Russian translator with some minor additions, that alone is a reason for disqualification. The photos on your threads didn't even work.
3. We have never "promised" you any tokens and we don't "promise" tokens.
4. No one is entitled to any tokens just for PARTICIPATING, we do not have any participation prizes. I can send you a participation diploma if you’re so eager to get something out of this, this I can promise. But you're getting it from me, not from Bountyhive.
5. You are typing "where are my tokens?" like someone owes you something, please tell me where in the rules on the whole Bountyhive platform does it say that you are automatically entitled to any tokens just for submitting an entry. Please, am waiting. You must be delusional if you think this is the case not just with Bountyhive, but with any bounty.
6. The lowest tier or any tier in the media bounty type is for the accepted entries. The “low quality” tier, for example, is for the low-quality entries out of the ACCEPTED ones, not the entries with the lowest quality possible. Following any rule on Bountyhive grants you a spot to be VERIFIED and that is all. You may struggle a bit with this.



I’m sorry to break it to you but trying to extort the management service is not something that works on Bountyhive, it may work with your other managers, but we are a company (an entity with employees, management, contracts and procedures, in case you are having trouble with this), not a bitcointalk profile.

The issue with all automated platforms is the potential to abuse the referral system, and most probably those toxic comments you might have seen around are from people who didn't want to work fairly.

Can't say I take part in every bounty on the platform, but there are still really high tier projects, like Cool Cousin, Robotina, The 4th Pillar, all having top ratings.

I believe, automated bounty platforms are the future, spreadsheets gonna fade away soon, and the progress is hated mostly by "violators". I also had some rejected payments, be it a goofy facebook or a weak article, whatever.

I shared SSOT Health Facebook posts 6 weeks but they has deleted 1 post from  Facebook later and it made my quota under 90%. Only 1 post from all. So, I missed 1 week out of 6 and was not accepted. It looks wrong. I think your quota 90% is too high for short campaigns. I hope you will revise this.

Unfortunately for several weeks in a row I can not get into any Bounty in the Reddit direction - you get automatic registrations of bots, that do not have any karma, but automatically make a large amount of comments with upvoting each other.  You will break this direction in the site work.

Please consider the question of the minimum amount of karma to participate in the project.

I do not know why my FaceBook entries are not counted and I getting this on my campaign reward screen "You signed up for the WealthMigrate Facebook Campaign but you failed to reach even a 90% posting quota (keeping in mind that you have to do 2 posts per week and maximum 1 post per day). Next time, please create the minimum required number of posts per week!"
I am 100% sure that have done 2 FB share per week as per rules, but I am not able to understand why it ha not been counted.

Bountyhive needs more activity and bounties. I have looked there many times and they always full. I actually haven't even had a chance to test them out because of this :(

In February-March, I liked this project with its simplicity and convenience. No need to make reports. But in the end I realized that there's nothing to do. Earnings with social networks are minimal.
