I would try to trade with that one BTC in hope to get more out of it. (But somehow i don`t believe so.)

But, just in case, if i could trading BTC really good after a certain time, i would spent 10% of the profit for new ideas and inventions, 5% in computer security, 30% cash out for living, 50% will be added to my trading so i can make more profit out of it, 4% something else/helping poor people, 1% for my studying languages (english, chinese, japanese so far),  and pay 1000times back that one BTC i have got from someone who has helped me to come so far.

I really like economy and I read a lot of books about trading and investmnt and I will start bringing strategy of best traders in history like Richard Dennis, Ed Seykota or Gil Blake to Bitcoin industry. There's about a dozen people / sites I'd like to tip for the great information I used to get my GPU miner up and running quickly and efficiently.  Which will happen eventually anyway once I get some of the altcoin I've mined to an exchange.

heres what I would do with it.

I would put it towards my future company squarebits.com that will start by providing websites for local businesses in the same way that I helped my wifes business to thrive by building a website for that. With profits from that I would look at employing a number of keen and passionate local people to move my business to the next level providing business services. I would be looking into marketing, emergent technologies, 3d printing, bitcoin exchanges, private comms and so on.
I would use profits from that to empower people and disempower overbearing governments with there red tape and taxes.

Moving forward I would take profits from that to build up several other businesses that ultimately provide value where all participators benefit.

I would then write that book that explained how I did it all including how it all started from one bitcoin donated by a generous forum member on bitcointalk.org.

I think the most interesting thing to do with one BTC would be to set up a competition, as this one, and see if it could get passed on. Would be cool to have 1 BTC circulating the system on competition basis.

To some extend, 1 BTC is little money. However, it give your change to invest. Take me for example, I have zero BTC until now. If I have this BTC, I will spend it on two places. First, I will upgrade my account on website(http://btcclicks.com/ads), so that I can surfer more ads one day. The more ads I surfer, the more BTC I will get. Second, I will spend about 0.03 BTC on bet game. Though it is risk of betting, it can give your more repay under your acceptable loss.
 
Through the two ways, the BTC maybe become more and more. The first way is safe, you can increase your BTC at a slowly speed as your expected. The second way, of course, is high risk investment, but also a chance! Maybe give your a surprising result.The reason the ways I choose is that our life should be 97% happiness and stable, at the same time, 3% should be a little surprise and exciting.

I see a lot of folks taking this lightly, and that's all well and fine but there's really only one answer to question:

Do what's practical.

For some that may mean keeping the coin as a long-term investment, hoping that the community as a whole will spearhead their financial success. For others, it may be getting into the trenches and developing BTC related merchandise, games, auctionhouses, miners, etc. Still for others the wonderment of bitcoin is enough, and they'll squander away their earnings on negative expected-value games for hopes of riches.

In all of the above though there's one salient feature, one shining light - It has value. This digital list of cryptographic fancy-ness actually has value.

That's wonderful to me, it not only points out that money is an abstraction but it's an abstraction that can be improved.

Going back to your question, the practical thing for me is to learn as much as I can about these abstractions, so that I may one day help improve upon them.

If you're looking for something a little less nebulous, I'm a math and comp-sci double major, so it'd probably go toward books  :P

As a college student that seems to come up broke lots of times, I would definitely stow it away and save it until hopefully the BTC exchange is more in my favor. It would be great to know I have a little something to fall back on when I really need it for car repairs, living expenses, etc. I would probably cash it in after about a year or so if I hadn't already used it.

If I had one entire Bitcoin, I'd convert it to fiat when the exchange rate is high (hmm...say like $120-$130). Then, when Bitcoin drops value (like $70-$80) I would convert them back. Now I get more Bitcoins haha. Lather, rinse, repeat.  ;)
Unlike gambling, there is virtually no risk. You end up with either Bitcoins or fiat anyway, plus if you do this with like, say, 100 BTC, you could actually get a decent profit margin.
