Ohh no,I can hear your moaning. But you are the one who responsible for your private keys so you have to blame yourself not the myetherwallet.

There is no security like 2FA or email verification is needed if the wallet provides private key access and it is the most security for any kind of wallets. No one can hack your wallets or private keys without having your private keys.So you need to save your private keys safely in a piece of paper not in electronic devices.

My ether wallet is not  scam, the people who are hacking are actually the scammers. Once and for all, you must keep your private key private or in safe place. Someone may knows your private key that's why they stole it. You can trace where did your tokens go by going through your transactions and there you can see the address where they go. Do not blame MEW because we are also using it and we keep our private keys secured.

I had this done to me and I had lost over 2k USD worth of tokens. Best thing to do is buy hardware wallets but if you can't afford that either run your MEW offline or open a ton of MEW wallets and put your tokens  in all of them, spreading our your risks and bookmark the MEW site.. I am so sorry for your loss and I can really empathize with your situation.

Im using myetherwallet for a very long time and i never got hacking incident and most of the bitcointalk user here also using that. You have to be responsible with your acts and i think you expose your private key to other people so you got hack. You probably a victim of phising

I am using MEW for last few year and haven't lost any penny out of it (I can't disclose how much I am holding in address created there). You should always check address bar when visiting mew because there are lots of other similar looking fishing sites. Also you should never save your private key or JSON file online. Use strong password when creating wallet there and never post your private key on any airdrop that ask for private key.

You don't need a 2FA verification if you hold down your private keys. I have been using MEW for past 1 year and I had no issues with it as you are the one responsible for your private keys. If you had stored your keys elsewhere someone accessing your network would have stolen it. It is a very safe wallet and they give out lots of ideas for protecting your funds. Maybe the airdrop you applied would have asked for the private key and you would have accidentally given it or would have typed private key instead of public key.  ;D
By seeing your transaction it is clear that something went wrong with your account. It is one of the most trusted wallets out there for storing funds and you are solely responsible for losing your funds may be
??? Sorry for the lost funds :(

Don't click links saying "verifying your myetherwallet.com wallet." If you check the links, quite often they are spammers with misspelled urls.

Yeah unfortunately MyEtherWallet is not a bank, they are only a tool to make creating a wallet easier. The best way to keep your crypto secure is to use MyEtherWallet in conjunction with a hardware wallet

exactly the way on how you are able to take your tokens on how you may take them for the safe place are may depends on you how you are able to take this in a very safe place this is more common thing that happen if you are not making some secure with your wallet for , we cant blame anyone of this cause this is our responsibility too.

Myetherwallet is not a scam. The mistakes done by an user ends in the loss or easy hack of the wallet. In this way it is our sole responsibility to keep secure of the private keys as well the data file which is used for accessing the wallet. Some phising sites too emerged, we need to be responsible not to get trapped in that too.

Absolutely you are right,MEW is one of the best ever wallet for storing tokens but someone is saying it is scam, good joke.

There is no chance for hacks if the private key is safe and the OP might stolen by the phishing links. So we need to be very careful and it is better to keep our system offline when there is no need.

My brother's account was hacked recently and lost all of his precious tokens but definitely NOT because of myetherwallet. The reason is that accidentally he clicked a link on the spam message that was sent to his email and follow all the details that was asked without knowing that it was a phising site, so unfortunately he  wasn't able to get back his tokens maybe you're have the same situation that's why you lost yours.

Sorry but we all knew it that MEW (myetherwallet.com) isn't a scam. What happened to you is you have clicked a bait and you fall to their trapped and your information has been phished by hackers. Its' your fault that you have lost your funds, everyone is aware that there are too many fake and copy cat of MEW that are existing out there. And besides have you ever read the reminder of MEW on their website? That don't get phished.

Myetherwallet is the one of the trusted source to have the tokens and multiple altcoins buddy but we people should not sign in the wallet with searching it in Google engine and does. I sure you have logged into your wallet with the different URL with the misspelled.
Since you loose the fund you misunderstood that MEW is the scam wallet buddy.
However, please sign up for the different wallet in the MEW again and keep safe your private key you can trust it that's it I can say.

I know what you feel man but theres no right to accuse myetherwallet site because most likely on these kind of incident this is really on users side. You cant really be sure on where and when hackers did able to get your keys. If you are not being victimized by phishing sites then try out to check your computer if it has a malware and do able to record all of your sensible informations. Sometimes we would able to forget on where we do keep our keys and actually this is actually wrong on users side not on the site itself.

no one understands your problem here. all the allegations you suspect to myetherwallet are very unreasonable.
it seems like you are experiencing panic, you have to clarify your problem and maybe someone can help you here.

First of all, it's hard to take you seriously with the amount of typos and just plain sloppiness of your post. That being said. MEW is not a scam and you are the first person I have ever heard call it that. You probably gave your private key in an airdrop form since I doubt you typed it all out and got keylogged. So it is not a scam, but you obviously made a massive mistake and paid for it...literally.

Just because your account have been hacked doesn't mean that myetherwallet is a scam. Also, if you mean that myetherwallet should give the tokens that you lost to prove that they are not scam, sorry but they will not do that. They did they part of reminding users about phishing sites, they even give all possible way to avoid being phished (e.g. installing eal and metamask). Always remember that you are responsible for the security of your keys/wallets/balances. It's hard but you need to move on and just be extra careful next time.

When you create new MEW address, you should read the terms and condition.
I bet there's nothing that say MEW is responsible for your transaction.
And you need to keep your private key just for yourself.

hi evryone am warn u taht myetherwallet is big scam
myetherwallet wallet is not scam I'm sure of that, I do understand your feelings, but what you stated are wrong it's not myetherwallet fault at all because myetherwallet don't holds your private key so you and only you are the one responsible for your own security.

Quote
and thief someone haked my acccount and thief my all token and balnec and no sport no security improvement i think
You clearly stated that someone has been hacked your account, it's clearly says that myetherwallet is a decentralized so no one owns it, so thats "someone" is another user, individual or person like us who've  stole all your funds.
Quote

airdrop/ico also involve due to they recmonded
There are lots of airdrops that are announced each they and most of them are scams. These scam airdrops required you to send your private key on them and by that way they have the full control of your mew.
Quote
myetherwallet.com no safe money no safe any token no 2f factor no phone or email code verification
Inspite of not having these phone/email verification code and authentication code on myetherwallet
I can still say that your money, funds, tokens and etherium are safely stored on myetherwallet as long as you have your private key secured and hidden from others. Myetherwallet wallet also suggests users to bookmark the right site and install metamask to be more secured.

Again don't blame myetherwallet blame the pishers/scammers from pishing sites and airdrops
You are not the only one who has the same case there are plenty users that are been victims by the pishers/ hackers immoral act.
For those who had been victims make these unpleasant happening be your lesson and a warn for everyone.

Why people blame thier mistake to someone else? I think its not MEW fault, its up to the wallet holder on how they handle thier private keys and not clicking phishing sites. Everything is fine if you know how to secure your wallet from attackers.

Not so surprised about these kind of people which they do really blame someone if they do lose their money without even thinking on the things they are saying. Instead for the community to sympathized with him,he would rather get some bashes and negative reactions towards this. Myether is just a wallet and you are being reminded that you must keep your keys no matter what its really a users diligence to keep those.

First of all, practice on making a paragraph in english before it's too late for you to get red trust and second for long time i have been using myetherwallet i never get hacked, it might be someone messed up your computer and stole your private key information which could be the reason for your lost coins. MEW is very safe by far, not in the point of downloading software wallet for storing ERC20 cryptos.

MEW been trusted since it was used widely because it is totally safe and its security features is given important by the team behind it but if this accusation is true,, I admit that I can’t blame them for this incident but you and your way of handling your account.. I think you have entered your private key to a phising site or someone have access your account because it is not protected.. You must understand that before posting this openly..

I'm pretty sure that OP is not putting a bookmark on the MEW site. Phishing is the number one cause to hack someone's account and it seems like he can't understand English well enough to see what MEW is reminding us.
