Many would have had a dream of owning atleast one bitcoin and just before two months,they would have thought their dream may never come true due to ATH price of bitcoin reaching almost $20,000.But now with the sudden downfall in price,atleast bitcoin had made some of their dreams come true.

Now even more people are owners of atlest one bitcoin.

But they would not satisfy and would expect to hold another bitcoin but bitcoin may not help it to become true as its price has started to recover.

Yes, bitcoin has opened up a dream for the investors, the bitcoin value plummeted, people with normal income can also buy and invest in Bitcoin. The crypto market is a potential investment market, a great opportunity for investors. However, the crypto market is always unstable. So, in the context of the crisis of the crypto and bitcoin markets, there are people who find the opportunity to invest in bitcoin easy, there are people who are still in panic, afraid because they have to Invest in losses every day.

most of the bitcoin holders is newcomer, with this situation, can make them panic, and make bitcoin more down. they dont know a whale maybe ready to take their bitcoins with low price by spreading bad rumors and make the holder dreams so far from reality

Every price dip is opportunity to buy some cheap bitcoins and all other top performing altcoins at massive discount. The one who have bought even at over $10k shouldn't panic because there is still a chance of massive run up after second quarter of 2018 when weak hands will sell all their coins.

a lot of newcomers bought a huge amount of bitcoin last year when the bubble is bubbling  ;D. many of them started panicking and that is the reason why you see so many threads on the board about bitcoin price going down. I hope bitcoin will not give some people heart attack this year

While the prices have come down, I want to say that a lot of people are all talk and no play. They say that they'll hop in when the price drops and such, but when the opportunity provides itself, people don't really hop in like they said they would because they're too scared that the price will drop even more.

I'm not saying that's a bad mentality -- no one wants to lose money. However, I think that for the people that are on these forums, believing that there are strong holding points need to understand that there's a strong chance that the resistance point might not be as strong as they think.

I doubt what you are saying is true. People that dreamed of buying a bitcoin because price was too high are not very mindful, and probably are now saying that Bitcoin is dead or whatever...

The main thing is that these people who bought bitcoin for a special discount, do not fall into a panic after falling prices in the market. I know several such cases, when people fell into a huge depression from subsidence simply not knowing what it is.

Maybe some new people got into the space but something I have noticed recently is that mainly smart money is buying the dips, and I know this because I know some dumb money and they were clamoring on and on about how they would buy Bitcoin under 10k. That quickly changed to Bitcoin under 8k, 7k, and you get the point. :D Dumb money is too scared to buy that dip because they don't know the tech, therefore they are worried it may crash to 0, but they would hardly catch a falling knife in this spot imho.

Yes this is true that by droping down the bitcoin prize making some peoples dream true but it also breaking some people's hope. The people who bought btc with upto $13k just for making some extramoney can you imagine what's happing with them.

No, I don't think so, people are always timid and greedy, when the bitcoin highest price is $20000, they think they donot have enough money to buy COINS, want to purchase, the currency price lower in when COINS now price of $8000, they were continuing to hesitate, they think the bitcoin will continue to fall, they always want to be in low buy COINS, the end result is that they missed the right price, because no one know, the price of the bitcoin back, they were disappointed, feel missed the good opportunity, then continue to wait

I think they will never have a bitcoin.
When prices fall sharply, they fall into a waiting period, expecting a further drop in prices.

I guess you are right, some people are waiting for bitcoin dip to buy, people now are more aware of bitcoin since it spike up really high and they are more positive about bitcoin could reach that number again, a lot of my friends buy bitcoin and eth when the price is low and they are happy to be able to own bitcoin

I dont believe you can predict tops and bottoms, thats why I buy regularly regardless of price when I have some spare money. The reason why I preffer regular buy when I have some spare money regardless of price is I have no idea what price going to be tommorow or next week.

I think you’re right but I’ve never understood why holding one whole bitcoin is so important to people. Fractions of a whole bitcoin is still owning bitcoin. People don’t seem to have this psychological need to hold one pound of gold, they’re satisfied with owning a few ounces.

Your right, many investors are waiting for this dump to buy bitcoin at a low value. But sadly other people see the recent dump not as a good opportunity to buy but they think bitcoin is crashing and will die soon. Now for sure they regret those opportunity again to make profit after this pump.

I don't agree with you. People don't buy it because they think it  will go down.
They panic and think it will continue to fall and wait.
When bitcoin stops falling and rises again, they will regret not buying it when it falls.

With the fall of the market, there are three types of people: some begin to panic, that they lose their money, others start buying up a crypto currency at a low price, while others just silently observe the situation. I treat myself to the third type, sometimes to the second, but never succumb to panic!

my strategy is to trade my way to 1 bitcoin without necessarily investing any money to it. I know it's hard and that it will take time but it's my project.

Actually, price averaging is a valid strategy when you are going for long-term investment. :)

indeed not easy to buy bitcoin in the high price because when we buy in the high price will difficult to get a lot of profit. this is the right time to buy when the price drops and starts to rise again, it's just a matter of time for us to make a lot of profit.

Yes i agree! It will be a great opportunityfor us to buy more bitcoins especially for newbies who just started bitcoin when it was still at $19000. I waited on this dip for how many months so i never waste a chance to buy more not just bitcoin but other altcoins.

I don't think bitcoin price will rise exponentially like it did in 2017, although I wont say ti wont happen. I think retail investors had their run to the market, but now they are a bit scared and the hype is not as strong as it was. I not saying this with negativity, because I prefer a sustained growth done by investors that know what they are buying. The problem with the last run, was that people were just searching for profit, and as soon as they saw the price going down, they started panic selling.

I agree with you, this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin, but I don't expect people to go crazy about it, as they did in the past. The next growth of bitcoin will be done by real investors, that will buy bitcoin for real use, and not just by speculation. For that to happen, we need good regulation and the implementation of the lightning network.

The slump definitely helped a lot of people who claimed that they were unable to invest due to the high price but am sure that they were able to do so or they were to scared to do that as well, this is a chance that’s very hard to come by again.

This dip is good for new comers to catch a good price. Many people bought Bitcoin with much higher prices, I don't think they are happy now.

That is okay on your side but I think you must understand the market trends. Yes indeed, it made some people’s dream come true as they invested in bitcoin already. I agree also with the others that there are some who are so skeptic in investing because they wanted the lowest price for them and in that way, they don’t have there dream come true. How we wish that they be awaken in their dream and face reality and do something worthwhile while there’s opportunity in bitcoin.

I am also skeptical about the future recovery of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin has not gone down cyclically, it has been affected by the stock market. Amazon has affected all the different platforms. We may see this as a technological crisis in 2018. Bitcoin will still recover but it will take a long time. If you have enough patience to hold, you will get more profit in the future.

People dreams comes true as Bitcoin price is going low these days and one can buy it easily. Yes it's time for investing actually this 3x drops in january until now i always buy in low and i lose 50% already but still i hold it for long term because i believe it can go really high like december 2017 and i see it that the price of btc go high that we can't imagine i think it go high because of the different ICO that already run here in past 2017 but some already gone too because they can't handle to run a ICO here or their not use by many users here

People's dream will never come true, because they buy when bitcoin rises, and they dump when they fall so they will ultimately end up with no bitcoin, what others do is nothing just buy and hodl

Yes, this crash of bitcoin from 20.000$ to 8000$ has allowed a lot of people to buy at least  1 bitcoin because there is a big difference in the price from then to the price from now. But even at this low price it is hard for people to accomplish their goals and make their dreams come true. In order to make a good profit and make a lot of profit like people dream they have to wait a few year.

Yes id have to agree. I myself didnt get 1btc but at least a little closer. Its everyone's dream to get 1btc. Maybe if i will get 1btc i will still want more. We are never really gonna be satisfied with what we have. We always want more. Now that bitcoin has recovered i think it will take longer for me to form 1btc at least. But im ok with what i have now. Well when btc went up to 20k last december, there are people who probably thought that the price won't go to as low as it is now. Yes a correction is imminent but they didn't expect more than 60% decline and they may have thought they've missed a good entry point. That's why not everyone was disappointed when btc fell to below 7k

The situation you said exists, but not everyone. I've been looking for the next Bitcoin. I understand that Bitcoin can no longer fulfill my dream. Because Bitcoin's price is already high. What I want to do now is only to find a 10x or 100x coin. As long as bitcoin is warming up, my chances are bigger. :)

I believe that the price will still be a long time to fall or rise until it can manipulirovat China. China is still the largest user of bitcoin worldwide.

   For those who does not have yet bitcoin in their wallet then it will good for them because they can buy bitcoin while it is in downfall but for those already owned bitcoin  i think they have a little fear and panic that bitcoin will not recover. Well, I won't call it a dream but I was happy when the correction took place as I knew that the price was artificially manipulated by the big whales and the institutional investors so it doesn't make any sense to the growth of Bitcoin as there was no growth in user base to support the price rally and hence correction took place and I believe that it not only helped Bitcoin to stabilize the price but also this helps it to grow in the long run. I am the one who was happy when correction took place as it was beneficial for the Bitcoin.

I think the same as you. With the current situation on the market, we have every chance to see the price of Bitcoin $3000 in the near future and this is offensively. It is indeed true.   Because of the high price of bitcoin in the market for the past years, it is very hard to invest 1 bitcoin to an ordinary people especially those who live in a Third Class Country.  The dropping of bitcoin price now gives the opportunity to those who do not have bitcoin to their wallet yet to at least possess one now.  Meaning, even the red days of cryptocurrencies is rocky road for some investors, it is a smooth road for new investors to enter to crytpto world.
