The advertisement specifies that the confirmed transactions will be carried out for 10 minutes. Is it fast or not? I think that quickly enough. It is a question of security and anonymity of transactions - this is what is required from crypto currency. Time will certainly show, but so far the proposal looks attractive enough.

Yes. The site does not work. I would like to see the developers correct this annoying mistake soon. And then there will be less confidence in the project.

Because it is POS only coin. PoW-algorithm ends at block #100. Look in the block explorer.

#100 http://astrum.cash:3001/block/454056b1d4b350b0685f73cd682c7050b0b2ae3e778b38c6ad88f91993b0b0fd
#101 http://astrum.cash:3001/block/f732e5f53816a1deb1eac0c53f53799c52b507966b4c20beaa4be14786cfb6f0

1000000 ASTR are on this address: AXxwuNz6vToHhL6LSF9fH3EEMq4JiTDhVe

The most part of premined coins will be used to pay for the listing on the exchange.

This is POS only coin. You can buy 3000 ASTR and set up masternode.
Setup guide is here https://github.com/Astrumcash/astrum/blob/master/Astrum%20Single%20and%20Multiple%20Masternodes%20setup%20Guide%20.txt

1) Regarding site not working:
Some people mistakenly think the site is not working, because they are clicking on the links (for the pre-mine or the website) from masternodes.online, and those links have left out the "https://". If you correct the links, people will think the site works again.

2) I don't think it states anywhere in the announcement or on the website what the MN rewards are. Please let us know.

This could be legit, but honestly sure looks like a big scam.  Huge premine, no miners, no place to sell except for the promise of a scamtopia listing, and they only way of getting coins is the website?  Also no way of getting a hold of the dev or any support at all.

Makes me think I need to make an "Idiot test"  website.  I'll have the same exact interface as this Astrum site but it will say "Send us 1 Bitcoin to find out if you're a idiot."

Such a high ROI was for the first few hours, when only a few masternodes were online. As you can see, as more mns go online, as lower ROI gets. Soon it will be about normal, remaining high anough.

There is the fund usage table in the first post. As you can see, the most of the funds will be used for listing on exchanges. And there's no need in mining - this is pure PoS coin.

The guide for setup MN is only for windows how can we setup the MN in linux VPS?

1. Login to your VPS as user (not as root!).
2. Install all required dependencies:

Code:
sudo apt-get install mc git qt5-default qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools qttools5-dev-tools build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev

3. Clone git repo:

Code:
git clone https://github.com/Astrumcash/astrum.git

4. Create .Astrum folder in the home folder of your user

5. Create Astrum.conf file in .Astrum folder, paste into it the same content as for the GUI masternode.

6. Navigate to astrum/src folder

7. Execute ./Astrumd -daemon. Wait until it says "Astrum server starting" and press Ctrl-C

8. Then setup your MN as usually.

Tell the website (https://masternodes.online/currencies/ASTR/) to fix the links (add "https://") if you want people to gain confidence in your site/coin.
What % are the MN rewards?
What is the required collateral for the MN? The site says 3k, but the guide says 2.5k. Give us a github link to the source code.
Do you plan to create a Discord channel?

Wallet code (QT and daemon/service) seems to be designed if not built around using Ubuntu 14.04LTS (i.e., "dated" by ~4 years) versus the current LTS ("Long Term Support") of Ubuntu 16.04LTS with Ubuntu 18.04LTS (aka "BionicBeaver") already in RC stages (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BionicBeaver/ReleaseSchedule).

Makes one want to question the level of "technical competency" here even though they are starting out with a listing on Masternodes.online (https://masternodes.online/currencies/ASTR/).

This seems interesting. There are exchanges like stocks.exchannge that you can be listed on. I will have to see some volume first before investing. It makes no sense having high ROI and nowhere to sell to actually get the ROI.

You did not offend me.  I know what goes on sometimes, and you do too.  But if you look up the sent address on both of those transactions you can see I'm not playing.   And to me the more straight players in crypto is the best thing for crypto, scammers give crypto a terrible name.

Not saying they are scammers, just want more info.  Been at this game a long time, seen DEV's cash out the premine, take off with the ICO, promise the moon and deliver nothing.
That's why I asked, who are the DEVs?  Why anyone would buy something that isn't on an exchange is beyond me.

All in hopes of aquiring as many coins as possible so that when it listed on a exchange they can make money.  Atleast thats why I did it.  Plus when I did the coins per day was around 2300.

What if the DEVs go poof and the coin never gets on an exchange?  Did anyone actually ask Cryptopia of they really were going to add this coin?

I have not received my deposit yet, and its been 10 hours or so.

I purchased 3000 coins for a masternode last night.  I went to setup the node and the wallet would not let me send 3000 coins to the masternode wallet because I was short of the .00001 transaction fee.  So I purchased 100 more to cover any costs.  I know its more than what I needed but thats what i did.

Now Im waiting on that transaction to come through and it has not.

you may be right (nobody really knows) - but the Astrum website is much better-looking, when launching their project... Have you checked the tok's horrible-site design on the ICO launch?

No whitepaper too, for example, on these two projects - both tok and astrum. Both have no real plans for real development.

There are much other problems with TOK and GNR's dev (dev BLOCKS ppl on telegram-channel who voice themselves on these matters, in the TOK telegram-group)...

IMO, tok and astrum are two shaddy 100%-excatly-the same projects (same code) - with no real usage except for selling more and more MN (=for high profits for the the anonymous dev-teams), and pure speculation after getting listed on cryptopia. Their only difference, imo, is that twin-TOK is listed, while his twin-ASTRUM is not yet listed... but who care... please - take my(/our) money (and run)... the two dev teams are marketing promises: TOK-to-the-moon. ASTRUM-to-the moon. When choosing from these two projects: the "real" and the copied-code-one, I do hope ASTRUM will make it better.

I was following TOKUGAWA from day-1. Bought tok mn back in Nov. for 1250$  .. yes ... I've mined a lot of TOKs - but sold most of them on crytopia. I am a Bitcoin-HODLER, not TOK-HODLER. These sold TOK coins of mine also paid for other crypto-projects/investments, including a "free" 3000$/XXX-BTC ASTRUM mn, which I run too. I didn't get rich from this TOKUGAWA project. I didn't sell toks at 20$-per-coin-moon, yet still I am in USD or BTC nice profits. I run a TOK mn for the minimum PoS 2500 coins needed (and stopped being a TOK-HODLER recently) because I have lost faith in the TOK dev team - so I keep my TOK coins at the minimum needed.

I had learnt an important lesson recently, which I will share with you right now: BITCOIN IS THE ONLY TRUE CRYPTO, imo – and, imo, the vast majority of altcoins are shitcoin. Tokugawa (and GNR btw), imo, is one of these shitcoins.. Also, imo, ASTRUM, can improve their elder-twin-same-code-TOKUGAWA-mistakes... ASTRUM can do much better on the long-run for their investors and community.

TOK only advantage over ASTRUM right now is that it is listed and traded and ASTRUM is not yet listed anywhere - and that is a big risk.

Can confirm that if one were to hand compile the Github code from source with the right dependencies and tweek a file permission or two, one can (1) compile the QT wallet for Ubuntu 16.04, and (2) compile the headless wallet for a MasterNode for Ubuntu 16.04 successfully.

Yes, I bought "free" astrum and you bought "free" gainercoin - but TOK dev bought/can-buy an appartment house or a private yacht possibly for "free".

you asked what happened? From an investor point of view, mine at least, I saw too many red-flags pointing to the fact the the dev lacks TOKUGAWA exclusive inner-devosion, which investors would expect from any dev team - exclusivity for TOKUGAWA and nothing but Tokugawa. The dev (and his team) lacked exclusivity for this (their launched) alt, thus turning it to a shitcoin - spamming the crypto-eco-system with traps.

The shitcoinness of TOK is very visiable - even on CMC (# of tok coins locks - ??, unknows, for example) ... and if a dev works (=giving his name and reputation) on a shitcoin, how can you trust his other projects like GNR?

One would expect that a GNR-dev-team would be totally exclusivity devoted to GNR success - but this is not the case... TOK and GNR are shaddy projects with the same dev team - with no real usage for both coins, except a plan to sell as many MN as possible with pre-mining... and speculation...  No real whitepaper, no development plans, no exclusivity for TOK-GNR from the British-Japanese dev... Not knowing your dev is bad for ppl. We are not in 2009, and he is not Satoshi Nakamoto.

how can i trust the dev ....

his ico was ( tok) 0.5 dollar , after the ico the price  went up to 7 dollar is now 1.6dollar ---> last few days it took a hit .... but when the BTC did sky diving .. this coin were strong didnt get hit , you can not say that from OTHER ALTCOINS.....

same dev ( althou i dont think they are the same ) has bring up an new coin ... with new MN futures..... ( the more  blocks mined - the higher the rewards)

for me is TOk the first 100% POS coin....... this kind of MN is more in the picture than the POWs ....why......  POS MN does not take that much energy.....

now , you're saying the TOK dev is shady , but you buyed in more shady people.....
they cloned exact copy of tok and selling it .... but what happens when the coin get some troubles... are the new owners capable to solve the problem(s) ???

you tell us that this coin( tok) is shady and yet you made very nice profit ???

edit....
ok TOK is getting  a hit now  i see ::) ::)

Hello.

According to our data, there are people who bought astrums, but did not start the masternodes yet. If they have problems with launching, let them contact us in the telegram channel or here. We will help him to perform all the necessary settings. Soon we will fix all the configuration guides to simplify the installing process.

Be patient. Astrum is not a scam. We works hardly. We track the situation with stock exchanges and other masternodes. Need an exact moment and right strategy.

Hello.

According to our data, there are people who bought astrums, but did not start the masternodes yet. If they have problems with launching, let them contact us in the telegram channel or here. We will help him to perform all the necessary settings. Soon we will fix all the configuration guides to simplify the installing process.

I'm steering clear of this one because this appears to be another copy and paste masternode coin with no long term purpose, and as such, I'd expect once this hits the exchange the price will drop, and masternode holders will have a short amount of time to sell their rewards to recover their initial investment. Reading some earlier posts, there's also the risk the the dev will then stop working on this coin and do a rinse and repeat where he/she will start all over again and launch another coin....

Due to good sales we decided to raise ASTRUM price from 1$ to 5$. And we are planning to raise it once more to 10$ at March 1st. In first decade of March we'll be listed on exchanges and you will get chance to fix your profit.

ROFL yet another meaningless coin. That crappy video is so cringe. Open your eyes people the are trying to put some nice pictures and brands in to suck money out of you. No innovation NOTHING that has not been done b4. Totally meaningless coin. And even their readmap is extremely slow. Other coins will have atomic swap and stuff long b4 this. There is NOTHING new here.

As we said earlier, Astrum is for self-sufficient and having excellent taste of people. Maybe this coin is not for you. We do not see the point in writing huge and beautiful WP. In WP, we set out our idea. Also Astrum for people who appreciate nature, and natural resources. Astrum uses only PIC-mining, for colossal savings of electricity. In our world, many polluting and environmentally harmful elements. So let's appreciate and respect what's left of nature.
At the moment we are negotiating with famous brands, for the introduction of Astrum in them.

Thats great, a very fast, secured, effective and effecient transaction surely will attracts big market.  The challenge is how to caters and maintain everyone needs in simpliest and easiest that would satisfy each individuals and investors.  The dev team hopefully will intensify the marketing  strategy of social media networks to properly dessiminate the good news about the project.

But I don't have much idea about MNs. ASTR has good ROI and looks like a really interesting project. What will be the right time to buy?
