Very vague,absurd question.

Pretty sure no one here is Nostradamus to predict the absolute details about the bitcoin's price. If you can understand charts, statistics and data-mining,you can come up with some interesting information for yourself. Also this looks like a question a Fudster can answer at his best.

There have been so many predictions and speculations about the price of bitcoin reaching $50K  in 2018 of which none of the predictions has come to pass, all these predictions and speculations is adding more burden to the price rather than increasing the volatility and momemtum.

Bitcoin will grow, but market will grow better, so find more perspective cryptocurrency. You can compare bitcoin % grow with market capitalization % grow, in few months would be huge difference.

Personally I believe around April time we will start to see Bitcoin rise again, i'm not talking record breaking prices but certainly when you look back to now, you'll see an upwards movement that's for sure.

We can't predict the rising and dumping of bitcoin price especially in the future where some countries already banned this coins. Even in the news, some user know that this country banned the bitcoin and we are late to sell in better price, the lack of information will result of losing income. We have two result in the future which os crashing or pumping. If the bitcoin legalise in some country, result is good. And if this will use in illegal transaction and a problem of the country this will the crashing of bitcoin.

According to this article, we might need to wait until March/April to start seeing some serious gains:
https://coincodex.com/article/1266/crypto-fund-manager-david-drake-predicts-prices-will-go-off-around-march-or-april/

I think it's completely possible, we will need quite some time to recover from this crash, and it's better to have healthy growth than pumps.

Since I can't really predict price.. I will add something different to the mix.one thing that I feel like people don't calculate in bitcoin (and ethereum) as far as use case goes is the liason between USD and alt coins.. I know its kind of obvious that we all use it this way but this could play a really important part in the pricing as time goes.. especially if decentralized exchanges become more mainstream and legislation cracks down more.. the entry point into these exchanges would be all bitcoin/eth and USD wouldn't be apart of the mix, and if entry points through legislation become more heavily monitored, owning more bitcoin and ethereum before legislation would be more important and could drive the price up substantially.

Bitcoin could be back on track for some rises after the news come that Arizona state has passed a bill that would allow US tax may be paid using bitcoin. If it legalizes, it could get out of its slump its been going through the past months.

99.9% people want bitcoin to recover and hit all-time-high again. That's why its like when we are already making a headway, suddenly the price could go down again. So for me there's really a lot of changes this 2018. Maybe investors are somewhat reluctant now to just put their money, unlike last year were there's a lot of irrational buyers. So we have to take that in consideration.

I speculate that before the end of this month, we can make significant gains toward the $10K mark. I say this because after the Chinese New Year, our friends will have to make money again and I see that crypto is one market that will go and have their cash ready to buy once again. Let's see how it goes after this Friday (Feb 16).

A few days ago somebody said here that a certain "prophet" predicted that the price of BTC will fall down to $5000. Then Bitcoin fell down from $13000 rapidly in fact, but stopped on $6000. So this "prophet" was almost right.

Bitcoin has been in correction for about a month and a half since its December sharp rise in price. Due to his volatile nature, he can not stay in one place for a long time and will soon be up in his course. Most likely this will happen in early March, when the New Year holidays in China will end.

At the moment, Bitcoin is facing much negative news like being banned by some governments in countries such as Korea, India, and China. Moreover, especially now is preparing to Chinese New Year, so the exchange rate has been low for nearly a month back. It expected that the market would be rebound in March and Bitcoin will return to the exchange rate of roughly $ 20000.

I agree that bitcoin is highly fluctuative right now. And honestly, I afraid bitcoin has reached it's ATH before and it might never be that high anymore. In my opinion, I believe that 2018 will be the year of Altcoins and ICO, not bitcoin anymore.
Regarding the question, I think it's useless to ask it here because no one can really predict it for sure. Instead of listening to others, it's better to decide it yourself. My prediction is, bitcoin might rise again at the end of february although I think it won't be as frequent or as fast as before.

Still, trust no one.

Yes Bitcoin is highly Volatile and for me it's normal Bitcoin will be stable maybe next few years. But right now we need to buy and hold bitcoin, No one can stop bitcoin even Goverment so the demand will increase because bitcoin is back up by blockchain technology and Community itself. Indeed, it is difficult to predict. However, based on historical data and charts, you can try to predict the direction in which the price will follow. Although, of course, nothing is certain.

Absurd indeed. Obviously he thought we have some pretty magical eyes that can see through the charts and know what happens next. This could be a speculation thread but there are some questions that just do not make sense and no one can give any prediction of what happens next, let alone accurate. The chart tells us everything when the time comes and at least we still have some huge resistance ahead to break before we can even assume a little where we are going.

Market is very volatile and any little thing can cause a huge down or uptrend as the case may be. The market now looks like a plain gamble for anyone who wants to enter this position. I would rather wait and see what happens next before we start predicting anything. I am still very much optimistic that this year should be great with this high level of dip, but who knows what the future holds? No one!

If you look at the charts you can see that the direction of the market is up, there are some downs that is true but the direction has a tendency to go upwards and since the fundamentals of bitcoin are as strong as always there is a good probability the market is going to go up once again, but it is impossible to know exactly when that is going to happen because there are many factors involved that we cannot predict, this bear market could last for months or for years.

hmmm stable? the value of the bitcoin that is fluctuating is unlikely to be stable, if it does not go down means up. in my opinion there is no stable word in the bitcoin value. fluctuation values are created to benefit investors or their users. bitcoin is still priced at $ 8.878 and this price is still up and down. bitcoin started to recover after Saved by the bell and is now trying to break the $ 9,000 mark.
I think for now bitcoin will be at $ 10,000 after it can break $ 9,000 and in the coming months bitcoin will continue to increase.
Easier said than done, which looks like now.

Most of the predictions are not reliable but some have saying many things here that has come to pass. Bitcoin is going to recover that is sure and we believe that the same pattern that happened last year is going to repeat again. I will advise us to buy now as my own contribution to encourage people to buy.

from the beginning bitcoin value is designed to fluctuate, its name fluctuates means the price will go up and down. everyone also knows that prices go up and down is easier to gain profit.
may be stable Your point is stable which means it is different again. yes indeed recently the price is very easy to change, maybe there are some factors that affect it and honestly I do not know clearly about this very significant change. predictions for the coming weeks may be the price will rise again. even in my opinion will not be long again bitcoin price figures will be at no $ 15k - $ 16k. it's just my prediction alone, maybe the predictions of others different again because I also know there will be no one who can guess correctly the price will stop at what number. ;D

Well, the price of bitcoin is unstable at this current time, and despite that the crisis is over ( in my opinion ) so it is expected that there will be developments. Furthermore, I expect that in the next weeks there may be a rise but by a small percentage  ( May it will reach $ 13 000 and $15 000). But there may be some surprises ( bad or good) in the value because  new problems may will exist. Because there are many enemies ( the governments)  aspire to destroy it in different ways.
In addition to that, I think that after a few month (1-3)  the price of bitcoin will became between  $ 20 000 and $ 30 000. Hopefully that bitcoin will return more stronger than before .

I do agree that prediction is pure speculation with added technical analysis.  Though comparing to the speculation alone, prediction has a better chance of happening since there are factors and reference history where the prediction is based.  With regards to what I am expecting, I believe bitcoin will start to have a bullish phase soon.

I can see the difference through the years with bitcoin and that's pretty cool that it keeps surviving no matter how others trying to pull down the name of bitcoin in cryptocurrency world. Just a word, UNPREDICTABLE.
Even now there has been a decline in the price of Bitcoin, it will certainly change the stigma of some people against Bitcoin. What Bitcoin says is dangerous is that they always fail to invest in Bitcoin, while those who benefit will say that Bitcoin is the way to achieve dreams. All depends on yourself, and do not be easily affected because bitcoin is difficult to predict.

Price predictions seem to be pure speculation, but the general trend should be increasing.
Too much negative press lately so, in order for it to go up largely, there will need to be a series of positive news.

It's hard to hear positive news these days as each new day more and more countries talk about regulations and bans.
Seems it's one of the reasons why BTC is so weak these days, regulations and centralization. Investors don't want this and when they see it's inevitable, they retreat, the market retreats and all Crypto-Currencies lose value.

Bitcoin still fighting to be stable. In every two days, Bitcoin price rising and down happening. This is too volatile now. So, What do you think about the recent market? will it rise again? If which then which month it will happen?

This decline is very profitable for those who have a lot of money they can buy bitcoin at a relatively cheap price.

This is called fluctuation which means 'existence increase or decrease in value'. If degradation of value occurs only in bitcoin perhaps it's very easy to predict the root of his problem but this time decline occurs in almost all crypto this is what makes me trouble digging the root of the problem.

Bitcoin...
I still believe in its popularity and scalability, bitcoin will certainly rise again this month, but not as fast as a rocket (snail) and bitcoin will grow very rapidly perhaps in the coming June.

Already spent three months bitcoin stagnates in its growth and it is difficult to find the true identity. Whatever else the next third parties do, they have crossed the threshold of reasonableness. Oooh ... My God ... What exactly do they want? ...

I think it's an understatement that people must accept that the market wasn't just mildly overbought, but more insanely overbought due to the heavy speculation driving the price to its $20,000 high. If this is what the market needs to find its comfortable settling point, then so be it. The moment we dipped below $9000 I knew it was time to liqduidate my short term positions, and I'm still waiting to see what the best levels are to start buying back, and some people may not like to hear this, but it will be somewhere below the $7500 level, and I do expect it to happen soon. As trader you have to adapt to the changed market, and that for me was the moment the market cracked the $9000 level. If that $9000 level remained strong, I wouldn't have liquidated my positions.
