Ethereum is one of the best alternative coin  in crypto market. It will never fail in the future so you should choose Ethereum is the right coin.
This is cryptocurrency so no one is stable in the market it will fluctuating simultaneously we only protect our cryptocurrency so you should analyse carefully in the altcoin Because many shit coins are available in the market.

What do you mean - Stable coin? Tether is most stable, but it have not opportunity to grow. If you are looking to coins wich will not fall one time due scam, I think that first 50 by market cap are stable.

If you want stability, look for fiat.
And as of coins backed by any other thing, this particular thing doesn't exist in cryptocurrency as there are no supervising authority and the prices entirely depends on supply and demand. Anyone promising of equaling to a value of different product is likely a scam.

The best coin that is stable even in this crash also is the Bancor Network Token (BNT). This currency is traded now in Bittrex and Binance. You can convert all your coin for this BNT to keep your value intact in terms of BTC.

What do you mean "backed by smth real"? All coins are pretty much virtual are not backed by any concrete object. If you are asking exclusively in terms of stability, you can't go wrong with the major altcoins like ETH and LTC. They are as stable as they come.

Title: Re: Stable coins

If you mean something real then avoid bitcoin and litecoin as they have no real purpose other than a store of value. Ethereum is stable but it has already mooned so you need one that is going to rocket. Take a look at LISK which is relauching next week. If you get some now you can expect a nice pump and good long term gains.

I recommend the Neo.  NEO also ensures that the system keeps its finality and availability as long as Byzantine fault occurs on less than 1/3 of the nodes. With the use of dBFT protocol, NEO practical transaction speed is 1,000 TPS and theoretically can reach 10,000 TPS in future.
Now NEO  transaction speed = VISA transaction speed.
I think NEO is coin number 1 in the future.

Ethereum is definitely going to be one of the safest coins out there. And I know we have seen some big bitcoin dips of late, but you can always count on bitcoin to rebound. It has done so time and time again, and remains one of the most stable. Neo has been very solid as of late as well. And seems to have big future potential as well.

You can independently analyze the situation on the market for all time of the exist of any coin. The charts for all sales are public. For me, the most stable and safe investment is the Ethereum. The price is relatively stable, there is a constant growth after bitcoin. And the capitalization is slightly increased.

Still, alternatives to BTC are, in my opinion Ethereum, Ripple, Stellar and some others, but they are for at least 2-3 years of investment.

I bought some CoinMetro tokens XCM) yesterday, public sale starting in a few days. It is kind of like the Kucoin shares and Binance coins, Buy them to receive a, in this case, lifetime discount on trading fees. But since Kucoin and Binance owns coins have made quite some growth I only hope CoinMetro coins follow in their footsteps. The CoinMetro project aims to make crypto trading more accessible to non-techie folks so the idea is great. Let's just wait and see if they can make it happen.. You can investigate further here: https://www.icotokennews.com/icos/coinmetro/ (https://www.icotokennews.com/icos/coinmetro/)

Another ICO I have participated in is SaveDroid, read about it here: https://www.icotokennews.com/icos/savedroid/ (https://www.icotokennews.com/icos/savedroid/)

Maker is a stable coin. There are good videos on YouTube about it.
Also usdt is stablecoin if you see from fiat perspective, but it's risky now cause there is a lot of questions regarding cash reserves that must back usdt supply.
I know Eth and Neo are a stable coin types,  but I prefer calculating all gains from neo and Eth icos in relevant tokens. Both are great projects and I keep them as MY stable coins.

There are no stable cryptocurrencies at the moment because there is no regulation. That's the beauty of cryptos. They're extremely volatile. They can seem stable for a while, but suddenly drop or boom extremely.
If you're looking for stability as in FIAT, you should stick to FIAT. Why would you invest in cryptos in that case?

I am looking for a stable coin like OP. You said fiat, yes but that's the problem that I don't want to save fiat. I want crypto, won't be depend on bank or someone and will still have money, I mean it would be very secure way to access your money online/offline, everything can happen and everything must be considered too.
Some may suggest bitcoin, ethereum and etc but I will repeat, despite the fact that they can grow my fiat after some months or etc if their price rise, they can fall too, there is a risk of this, so prefer not to risk and feel safe.
Hope now everyone will understand what does OP calls stable coin or at least me.

Probably a stable coin is a permanent coin, in which the price does not jump.  To be honest, when the market of crypto-currency will become stable in this understanding, it will be difficult to earn a lot on it, there will not be such jumps and falls in prices.  In this sense, I do not want the stability of the crypto currency.  But if you mean steadily growing coins, then it's probably already strong coins, for example - ETH, Strat, Dash and others.

The top 10 coins are good choices. Eth and ltc have proven to be stable even during the big dips. And those two will continue to go up for many years to come. Remember eth was under $300 in early November and the ath was around $1,340 on 01/13. During the big crash it went down to $630 on 02/06 and it already bounced back up to around $940 as of right now. So you got great gains if you bought it in November and if you bought some during the crash in early February.

Well the current "stable" coin in cryptocurrency is ethereum for now why? Because ethereum has no supply limit unlike in bitcoin so, the price wouldn't inflated very fast and also, ethereum is very popular when it comes to ICO's with it's ERC20 companies who want to create token for their ICO, IBO or whatever you call it easily although in cryptocurrency world there  is no such thing as stable.

Some projects do have real offices, licenses, legal employees. They exist as legitimate enterprises or corporations. However, if you ask in terms of the price of their tokens. Then there is absolutely no connection. There are real projects whose tokens do not cost anything on the market. And there are completely virtual companies, the price of coins of which grows every day.

If you are looking for stability in the market, Monero, Ethereum, Nem, Dash, all have long market time and in most fixes, their prices return to their previous margin, especially Ethereum and Monero. In general terms, it will depend on how long we consider stability, high and low.

I personally believe in progress of these coins and hopefully we will see a implementation IRL as well, which would make them far more accessible for more people and would bring bigger stability.

I would say Ethereum. Ethereum is maybe the most stable coin in the market after Bitcoin because it has a large marketcap and as day goes by it's value also increases due to more investors are investing.

Ripple
An analogy from the real world is a new VISA.
The project team is trying to make a new payment system so that it can make payments in all currencies. The advantage of this currency is that it is used by banks. However, it is not decentralized. Coins can not be mined, that is, their number does not increase. Ripple has a huge speed advantage over BTC and ETH, but the operations are not so transparent. For the classical banking system, this is normal - there anonymity has never been welcomed.

If you are looking for a true stablecoin I would look into MakerDao's DAI, it is a collateral backed stable coin. It is pegged with ETH collateralised against it to ensure it upholds its value, it will become much bigger over the next few years.

There are no stable cryptocurrencies at the moment because there is no regulation. They're extremely volatile. When the market of cryptocurrency will become stable, it will be difficult to earn a lot on it, there will not be such jumps and falls in prices.

Yea i would stay away from Tether.. Nubits is an option although i cant vouch as i haven't done much research honestly. DAI is probably the best option. It's an ERC 20 token and has some traction.. I saw others on this thread recommend it as well.. some of the cryptos backed by gold might also be an option...

DAI is available on Switchain (http://www.switchain.com/?utm_source=dai), instant exchange.. Only in DOGE, LTC & BTC tradepairs though.

I hope you find what your looking for. Good luck!

What does "stable coin" mean to you? If you want a coin with a little voluntility, then you are unlikely to find it in crypto coins. Now it is still a young market and it is subject to great volatility. If you are looking for a coin in terms of reliability, for the future, you can open a coinmarketcap and choose from the first 20 coins.

That's true,Today we can't understand it because we don't know how people value it,this was a right qustion what does this stable coin mean for you? For me the price stability means something like the boundary, which is between inflation and deflation and it occurs when the average level of prices is moving neither up nor down,So if we take into account this definition of stability, for me : bitcoin cash, ethereum are the most stable coins today. But also,Today we know that its impossible to develope cryptomarket without temporary volatilities,so I just want to say that its nothing and don't afraid of this volatilities.

A stable coin, in terms of price volatility, is not so easy to find now. It is better to look for a coin with a good predicted growth, otherwise why are you here. Now a fairly large selection of such coins, since the altcoin market is at the bottom, you can buy any shit and it will definitely grow.

Tether doesn't even backed by dollar and it's pure manipulation in my opinion. But it seems there are some projects develop their own stable currency based on their own formula to decrease the volatility after it has already listed on the exchange site. Tether looks a bit shady right now.

In this case, we may not be able to find the most stable coin, but we can find the promising and profitable coin with a good chance to close the stability. I will suggest the Ethereum. This coin is very promising and it has those criteria to invest or keep.

And another important thing - all coins declared to be baked to something is not true you should understand this. They can promote themselves as the only true baked crypto but as for me this is lies.

Hey man this is crypto, by definition, none of them is actually stable and as yet nearly all are backed by nothing. We are starting to see some of the ICO projects move forward however and they now have a working platform and application to support the value of their coin. Best opportunities are in the more mature large coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum which maintain good liquidity but are still volatile at times.

Lots of force for you to invest in some stable coins. You can choose the top 30 to hold long to take profit. If you do not want much risk, you can buy BTC, ETH, NEO. In addition, you can also buy potential altcoins such as XRP, ADA, ICX, profit can reach more so the risk of price volatility will be greater.

Although it is said that nothing is impossible when it comes to crypto, but when it comes to finding a stable coin, it is very hard to find. The only stable coin in crypto is USDT, known as Tether, which is priced at $1. For other coins, i feel they can only be slightly but not totally stable. That is, they are less volatile. I believe any project that promises total stability is likely to be a scam and care needs to be taken.
So, if anyone needs a fixed value, such can easily convert those coins to USDT.

I consider these coins of these crypto projects to be very promising and stable:
Zilliqa is a new blockchain platform that is designed to scale in an open, permission-less distributed network securely. The core feature that makes Zilliqa scalable is sharding — dividing the network into several smaller component networks (called shards) capable of processing transactions in parallel.
Holo (Cloud Storage) Holo is the first step toward a decentralized hosting ecosystem.
Ontology Network is a blockchain/distributed ledger network which combines distributed identity verification, data exchange, data collaboration, procedure protocols, communities, attestation, and various industry-specific modules

Coins that are stable and safe to invest are ethereum. Ethereum developed consistently and routinely, the decline also never happened significantly, the decline will not be far from the initial price. So the ethereum is very supportive and friendly to invest because your investment will be guaranteed safe and reliable development.

There are 2 coins i have in mind and was able to invest and i think you will gain lots of profit in the future. Try Banca and Soferox coin. Banca will list another exchange in the coming few weeks and they will release their CoinAI on may 31 so i suggest while price is still too low buy or accumulate as much as you can right now. You can buy it in hitbtc.com remember in case of worst case scenario always invest what you can afford to lose.

2nd coin Soferox coin or SFX they are about to launch another wallet which can be used by everyone not only alpha tester along with the new wallet expect it to be listed in an exchange, so while its not in the exchange yet i suggest you buy or mine your sfx. You can find info about peer to peer trade and mining in forum.soferox.com

Goodluck and Happy Earning. Thank me in the future.

Can we ever think of any coin which is stable? Since I came into the crypto currency market trading, I have never come across any coin that stabilizes. Most people come out with the suggestion that ethereum is quite stable as compared to the other coins. Others also give priority to Divx coin as more stable than ethereum. Looking at the trading market, I can deduce that no coin stabilizes for all the coins rise and fall as the days go by. Do you have any coin in mind that stabilizes?

Have you looked at the coins in the market lately? Do you see how the prices are fluctuating? There are no such thing as stable cryptocurrencies and volatility is a huge characteristics of cryptos. There is no coin that can stay at a stable price and as for altcoins, as long as they are still being used for trading activities, then they will always be unstable which cannot be changed.

In some point I'm confused why you are looking a stable coin when you want a good profit?. Well, much better to gain knowledge all about crypto currencies which make your mind enlightened. Base on my experience, I don't want a stable coin as it's useless in time if long term investment, on my part I'll find a coin which is increasing and have a potential in the future which I relying in the platforms as well as the advocay of the ICO.

I think he is fade up with the too much volatility found with most coins and is probably looking for coins that does not change by so much, when there's an upset in the market.

To that, I guess the likes of Dogecoin, Ether and Tether would measure up, but you cannot find any true stable coin, because a rising tide raises all boats. If you're a trader, you may want to know that trading these seemingly stable coins calls for lots of patience and can often be boring to trade in the short run. Ether is however an exception, because of the demand the DAPPs built on it are able to generate.

And as of coins backed by any other thing, this particular thing doesn't exist in cryptocurrency as there are no supervising authority and the prices entirely depends on supply and demand. Anyone promising of equaling to a value of different product is likely a scam.

For the possible coins or options that you can pick when investing your money in cryptocurrency, you can always look at the top ten altcoins leading in the market today. Of course, excluding Bitcoin. Since, Bitcoin is always the top in the market. My recommendation for you, is to invest first in Bitcoin and have your way to have some profits. And if you are successful, then you can invest now your money to cryptocurency. Because, investing in Bitcoin is less riskier than investing in altcoins.

A stable cryptocurrency that can be used in practical payment systems in real world, would be ideal for traders and the crypto community as well. But in the top 30 you want to reffer, i can just confirm that Tether is the most stable cryptocurrency as it is backed by USD. However, it is not perfectly stable when Bitfinex aim to play with btc price by creating more USD Tether.

Since, Bitcoin is always the top in the market. My recommendation for you, is to invest first in Bitcoin and have your way to have some profits. And if you are successful, then you can invest now your money to cryptocurency. Because, investing in Bitcoin is less riskier than investing in altcoins.
If am successeful means that i can't trust the stability of the btc even at x time of purchase. Investing in btc is also a little bit risky that you can just think about those holders since last December (Buy at $19k/1btc). Volatility is a fundamental rule in this ecosystem and it's too early to talk about real stability for cryptos and btc as well

i think most stabe coins are BNB(binance coin) and OKB(okex exchange coin). these two coins are very good in bear market
Yes they can be considered as good coins for investements as they are backed by active products and smart technology for daily use. In the same path, i see a lot of others that seems to be stable but they are still under developement technology like Augur.

It's not stable coin but it's reliable coin. Market fluctuations are common and hence there is no stability. But reliable coins are the ones which has potential to recover in low market. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the only reliable coins.

What does "stable coin" mean to you? If you want a coin with a little voluntility, then you are unlikely to find it in crypto coins. Now it is still a young market and it is subject to great volatility. If you are looking for a coin in terms of reliability, for the future, you can open a coinmarketcap and choose from the first 20 coins.

in my mind, Crypto market is never stable, but also because instability has attracted many investors to participate. They are very profitable, and also if looking for coins with good growth predictions, if not why you are here. Now the choice of coins is quite large because the altcoin market is under, you can buy anything and will definitely grow.

I am making research about NEO and think that it is also quite stable. Because, NEO indeed is an upgraded version of ETH and more and more projects are being based on its platform. Athough it is new, many investors looked at it with a positive view.

Hello, I think the coin that you talk about is Tether. It's like the rescue belt of the crypto market because its price is almost always at a constant level, and there are not so big drops and rises.

Crypto currencies are not that stable in terms of equivalent price because its trends goes up and down. But i guess there are coins out there that are best for investments. And i think bitcoin and ethereum are best to choose even they are also not that stable coins but they are ideal for long term investments.

If I think personally there does not seem to be any stable coins,
because every time the coin always moves for sure,
so even though it's neo or ethereum it seems like it's not a stable coin

None of them are stable in the slightest other than Tether which a lot of people don't trust. One of the coins backed by a real business would be the safest, e.g binance.

In my own opinion, there is no stable coin that you actually find in the market today because the prices are all based on supply and demand so you always need to wait for the right time before investing a huge amount in order to earn more profit.

The most stable currency this year, I think it is the platform currency of major exchanges, because most of my own funds have invested in platform coins. This year’s bear market has made me perfect. I am fortunate that many people are losing money in this year’s market. A lot of money, I am still lucky, so I think the most stable is the platform coin.

I continue to use coins that are so stable to be the main coins that I rely on to produce far greater profits. with this capability will be great for profits that continue to make a valuable major advantage. such as Ripple who became the main coin in the stability of the coins are desperate.

I believe that putting resources into Ethereum is a decent choice. It is at present extraordinary compared to other monetary forms in the market. I put a great deal of cash in Ethereum. I can utilize my Ethereum to put resources into ICO tasks and I can keep on there is a sit tight for it to rise.

A steady coin, regarding value instability, isn't so natural to discover now. It is smarter to search for a coin with a decent anticipated development, generally for what reason are you here. Presently a genuinely expansive choice of such coins, since the altcoin advertise is at the base, you can purchase any poo and it will develop.

Stable coins and altcoins are two different concepts. In my opinion, the stable coins is Tether and its analogs, and the altcoins are all coins other than bitcoin.

If you are new in this field you need to be smart and hardworking in reading about the crypto currency. do not invest in if you are not willing to pay because your money may be lost. if I'm with you always look at the market and give advice to people what to do when investing. so you do not lose your money.

in the cryptocurrency there is no stability, everyone knows this. here the behavior of the market can not be predicted, as well as the stability of coins. but there is a prospect. A lot of good projects have great prospects. And it is understandable that these projects do not allow developing general trends in the cryptocurrency market at the moment.

I agree with some guys that they mention as a promise to Ethereum and Litecoin as a stable coins. I would not say stable coins, but the cryptocurrencies that are kept at the top of the market, since it is well known that cryptocurrencies are unstable and volatile.

I really support Ethereum and Litecoin because it is one of the reasons why I joined the bitcointalk community because of my interest in these cryptocurrencies. Despite the problems found in Ethereum and the emergence of other alternative platforms such as NEO, Ethereum continues to be the preferred platform for new Altcoins projects, which makes ETH maintain its leadership.

if the coin is stable without significant decreases and increases I suggest tether, this can be used as one of the best coins because it avoids the risk of loss and also the price remains stable.

Stable coin? Tether is most stable but, In my opinion, digital money in general and Stable coins in particular are in development and need to be tested! Any decision to use long term should be considered carefully

If you are talking about the most stable coin I will take Tether (USDT) is more stable among the coin it price is not easily affected by decrease in bitcoin or Ethereum it always maintain 1$ or 0.99$.

What do you mean - Stable coin? Tether is most stable, but it have not opportunity to grow. If you are looking to coins wich will not fall one time due scam, I think that first 50 by market cap are stable.
Tether is USDT that's why this coin is permanent stable. But this guys means another stable coins i think. First 50 coin are stable in coinmarketcap i think it's not correct because VERI coin price was around 500$ in january now it's price under 20$ you say it's stable coin? same coin is NEO huge up and down coin.

i think most stabe coins are BNB(binance coin) and OKB(okex exchange coin). these two coins are very good in bear market
I heard that the Binance Exchange made its own token with the same name. They receive it for voting. What will happen next?
