I received a lot of tokens from Airdrops, but they haven't any value yet. When will be this tokens got value? in USD I mean?

it depends on your participate project progress. keep in touch with the project team, they will announce the projects progress news and check the roadmap to see when they will add the exchanges.

I have received several tokens so far via airdrops and there is now some value attached to them. TRX, POLY, XNN have all netted me at least $50 and in some cases $200+

DEEPONION is in a different league however owning more than 100 DEEP will qualify you for the airdrop each week and I am now receiving at least $50 per week in free coins

Yes of course. Take eBTC for example. 2500 Airdrop went up over $1 each token. Will this happen again with future airdrops? Unlikely, but possible.

When their ICO success, they follow to their roadmap, their tokens are listed on exchange sites, they will bring profit back to you.

Someday they will have value.  But this is not guaranteed. You just have to wait. For example, I participated in Airdrop from Polymath and did not think that he would bring me a current $ 250 poly token.

Nobody can guarantee that you will earn money on a certain project. But there are examples-such coins as OmiseGO, StellarLumens, XRB now stand good money. And first they were distributed by Airdrops.

Exactly, it completely depend upon the company because you are getting those coin for free without any investment.  So how can people can give guarantee to it, so hold them for one more year in order to get value for it.

ive been joining airdrops just a few months but i still got some tokens though I only have very few live tokens. this is sometimes a problem for us. but there are some communities that though they are already dead, they are still brought back to life.

i am joining aidrops a long time ago and the first token i got had i satisfying value after 3 months. though there are tokens that have no value yet but admins from the community are doing the best they can to bring to life the token they have been in hardships for a long time.

Basically it's like a lottery. You need for the project to reach the exchanges and then for it to be solid. It´s worth a try, but chances are..

There are a lot of airdrops that will have a value one day, you just have tot wait for a longer time because the most airdrops are in early stages and it always takes some time to get popular in the market!

Depends on the seriousness of the developer, most create airdrop token for a purpose to dump or scam...

I have closed to 110 airdrop tokens on my wallet and just new few like polymath equal blockport and iost have more value but the rest are shitcoin for now....



Dont only focus on airdrop, participate on good bounty like  medichain as its certain it will never be dumped since the developer are real...

Of course it all depends on the seriousness of the project team. I've received an airdrop from EthBlue (Blue) about 2x with 10,000 amounts of airdrop. Do you know? it price about $ 500 = 10,000 tokens (Ez money  ;D) . So finally it all depends on your luck and the seriousness of the project team. Good luck!

Tokens earned in airdrops can get value depending on what the team are looking to achieve. Many of those coins don't get value as they are shitcoins. Only 3% of the coins try to have some significant value .

the token you got from airdrop will get value when it listed on any exchange. But as I know almost airdrop token will never being listed cause they have low potential that why they often gaveaway. But there are also few good coins you can get from airdrop like REBL or other coin from hardfork like BCH. But the number of good airdrop coin can be listed is very little.

then you should ask it to the dev of each tokens, ask them when their tokens go into the market or even any news ahead ?
some tokens could take more than a month to have a value and because its free tokens, its value will be small

Haha. Do you know how many airdrops that guys joined to be able to earn 2000$? I think he must join hundreds airdrops to be able to earn that amount of money. For example, INS ecosystem also has airdrop and the name of airdrop token is INSP, a lot of people think that it'll be listed on any exchange but no, it never being listed and it's useless. It's not the only airdrop token like that so don't hope that you can earn a lot of money from airdrop, try to work hard if you wanna earn money :)

It depends on the coin and their respective projects. Just hold it, some will definitely have value. Constantly check those coins for updates so you know how they are doing and if the project of that coins are progressing or not If they have value. Its free money. If not, better luck with the other or future coins you'll be getting.

Well ofcourse its based on team behind those projects, is project still alive or not. You should prolly check that first. I've been holding airdroped tokens for quite a while now and some of them turned out to have some good value. So I would advise you to do some research on airdroped tokens and give it some time if team is being active and hard working.

Most of the recent Airdrops tokens are useless with no value being offered, but it is possible few of them would turn out well like ELixir, since you collect them free, if you hold long term some can turn out to be huge

Everyday you see new airdrops but you don't know which might get value attached to it.

If you have the time,  keep joining and HODL. You might just be lucky to have a token of an airdrop worth 1usd.

I looked at my wallet, I have about ten coins. Their cost is 400 dollars now. I have been participating in airdrops for two months. Not bad.

It migh be but I think not all of airdrop token will have value. Only good token and coin can be listed on exchange and get value. There are a lot of way to get airdrop token like join a normal airdrop of new token ( This is most popular way atm) or from hardfork or by holding any altcoins like getting Ignis by holding NXT,...But I think airdrop coin from hardfork always better than other kind of airdrop coin or token.

Yes they gain in profit but not all of them, I would say 10-20% of airdrops will be worth $100 or more. I sold some token I received from airdrops at around $300 but 3 weeks later I could sell them for $2000. Feels pretty bad but life goes on.

A lot of then are shitcoin, it is really rare when one of them are skyroofing, like it happened before for ETH dark, EBTC, BLUE, i missed all of them so i didn't make any money :) I don't participate anymore to airdrop cause of this I got 40 different token, all of them worth not so much

They surely have some value, but an Airdrop is not really a good way to earn substantial money because these are only intended to provide adoption and liquidity.

At present, if the Token of crypto is not indexed on the exchange floor, the airdrop for the Token is almost worthless. I only joined the airdrop the cryptos were indexed only. As of 1 month ago, Eidoo hosted the ETHLend cryptos airdrop event for those who installed the Eidoo wallet on their smartphone. ETHLend is crypto that has been indexed and has a rate of 0.11 USD.

unfortunately most of them are scam. nowadays it's too easy to register a new token and many use it. while the largest of all airdrops income was about $ 50. that's why I focused on the bounty.

This basically stands on the legitimacy & the success of the projects/airdrops you have participated in . Received token may have a certain value , as well as they may not , nobody can tell you the exact token fate ...just be patient and see where it goes

Do you mean you have never sold any token from airdrop at a high value before. I have received airdrop tokens and i have sold at high values. I think what you should do is to try to monitor every token you have received and see how they progress, so as to know when to sell.

of course any coins from airdrops can't get any reasonable value in first months of project. just get all coins what you can get and forget them for some years.

Airdrops are hit and miss. I have received quite a few that have made me thousands of dollars, but most are worthless and will still probably be worthless in a year. However, it is worthwhile if you can figure out the good projects. I avoid anything with it's own wallet due to the possibility of viruses. I stick with ERC-20 tokens.

I think not all has a value from airdrop because some of them are left who do that coin. I have lot of coin from airdrops but when I look when I open my wallet it's like they mess my wallet because they have no value.

From my experience, i would suggest you to keep all tokens you receive from thr airdrop amd bounties. 90% of thrm will worth nothing also in future, but the other 10% will surely repay all your efforts.
Don't forget that in the past ethereum did bounties campaign and stellar for example gave airdrop to users.
Keep your free tokens couple years, and you will have a nice reward from it.

I agree with what have been said here. Most airdrops are useles but occasionally there are some hidden gems. You just need to learn more about the project and decide if it has potential to develop into something worthwhile. And then wait and HODL. Many coins increase their value tenfold at least once so you can make some nice profit.

For now, the tokens haven't a value. But if the team behind Airdrops is working on it, then it will have a process and has a possibility that Airdrops token will have value someday but for now there are some good Airdrops token and some has a low potential only.

They won't have a value until they reach exchanger platforms where you can trade your token in exchange of BTC or some currency. Check the websites of your airdrops so you'll have a clue if you still need to wait for it to have a value or not. If its still a new airdrop chances are there no available exchanger yet so wait for a couple of months more as the developers are probably doing their best to have their coin listed on those exchangers.

I almost daily apply for new airdrops but have got only one till date and rest will be distributed in March 2018. As the companies will launch their tokens, and when it gets registered with exchanges, the value of some tokens may go higher and can give you good profits.

depends on the project itself, try to do deep research about the token that you have, start from the developer team composition, the idea of the project, the roadmap and product they are gonna make, how the marketing things they do. Not all the token will get a good value. Keep researching you will find the idea.

Tokens from airdrop have value but after list on exchange, before that it's just like garbage. Payment from airdrop not big like another program ( bounty campaign ) even they got list on exchange, it will with small value. Keep patience to wait or you can replace your skill/ asset into another program. Good luck with you.

I saw it that in the near future it really happened that airdrop can be valued as like aw what other cryptocurrencies is. Time is the most awaited part to let it happened but as of this moment I think its a case to case basis.

Tokens from airdrops is like your saving tons of money/coins in the banks, Yes probably they will have a value in the near future. Accumulate some of them sometimes it takes a months or years to have a value.

If the projects of ICOs is legit, it will has the value in the future everything depending on the developer of team the ICOs, you can check the activity of projects, the community of projects and the progress of project, the good projects usually the administrator are very active to answer your question and don't forget you must be joint in their official social media to follow the activity on there.

Not all token from airdrops has a value in the future.  The project should reach its soft cap in a crowdsale to be listed in an exchange or else burn out.  You may monitor the progress of your token on ICO watchlist websites and in the twitter account of exchanges.  Token that are listed in the coinmarketcap.com has dollar value and here you can find the available markets or exchanges to trade the particular token. Just keep on monitoring your airdrop tokens.  Never surrender on them because there are even shit coins that unexpectedly become valuable in the future.

It's hard to say, most of the Airdrop tokens to be without value, but there are some token when you hold for a long time, so that might give you a very good income, like TRX, at the beginning I had some Airdrop, however, now have been very valuable.

Airdrop tokens tend to be useless most of the time so if it has no value when you got it then i doubt it will has value in the future so that's why it's waste of time to join airdrop because it's hard to get token with some value.

We are same my friend i have also lot of token from airdrop. But most of them they didnt have value until now. But not all other having a value. But not too big than token that you invest in a ICO. Because some of the airdrop are scam they just want your money then they will give you a shit token.

The Polymath airdrop already seems to be doing fairly well. I think there are a number of projects where an airdrop makes sense to distribute the token to the community. It will be interesting to see if more projects continue to do this.

tokens from airdrop may have value or some may not,it depends on the project if become successful and depends on def if will pursue the project to get investors so the token soon will havgreat value.but its ok since its only free so you have no capital invested expect it as bonus if given a value

I do also have a lot of tokens from participating on airdrops and as of my experience holding these tokens, it takes weeks or even a months for a tokens to be listed and got some value from some exchange. You will notice the price/value of a token by viewing your wallet at either etherscan.io or ethplorer.io
Note: not all tokens that you receive on airdrop has a high probability of having a value someday because most of tokens that are came from airdrops are sh*t tokens that even if you hold it in a year or even forever they will not get any value at all. So don't expect too much :)

I've participated on an airdrop and the coin it's polymath , they gave 250 coins for the ones who are approved on the KYC. And luckily I have 250 poly coins on MEW, current value is $1.36.

Sadly the based on my experience with airdrops . If you get the coins sell it immediately atleast you will get some thing . Because i have some coins while i received it had some value there was some buyers Noe literally lots of coins are zero.

You don't have to do much to get these airdrops, so there is no point in selling quickly, Just hold these airdrops, it is likely that some of these would get value in future.

Token from airdrop got value or not is according many of factor. Most of that is the ICO success or not and the developer has great vision to make their token sold.

I rarely participate in Airdrops.  Most of them are garbage, and they appear every day very much.  Perhaps they will never go to the stock exchange.  But some people who spend a lot of time studying airdrops and participating in them earn good money.

Usually tokens from airdrops don't have value, but if you hold it for a while it may increase in value. Since it is free money why the rush to sell?

That totally depends on the project from which you got the airdrops, if the project succeeds and gains market value then your tokens will certainly be valuable in future. Before choosing the project, be sure to read its white paper well and see if the project design has potential, as much as its almost impossible to tell which project will succeed, a properly laid out project, with proper frame and intention often succeeds, for now all you can do is be patient.

It will only have a value if the developer or the one who created that coin is reliable for his business or he will go fund that coin to continue with real projects. If not it will have no value. A lot of tokens have no value because some wants only to have money on it after listing in a exchange.

A very strange question, considering that they get absolutely free. No effort was made to obtain them. Their value, based on this, is already higher than your costs. You absolutely do not need to save these coins until better times and you will not lose. If the coins do not cost anything - not scary. You still did not pay for them.
Airdrop is the smallest thing to worry about. Take what they give and do not waste your nerves. And when or if they start to cost something, then you can already ponder.

Check those coins mate if they will have a value at now in the market, and some of them will be go on.maybe just wait for it be lunched in markets. Try to get some information in their telegrams for updates

Yup, some airdrops are worth it and some are shit coins. Airdrop coins value will depend on the market if many people will buy that coins.

Some of them may have a value in the future but some of them may not. Don't hope too much from airdrop as you get them for free and you should not join all available airdrops out there. Do some researches on the project first, if you think it will be good project then you may claim it and leave it if you think it is not good project.
Forcing yourself to join all airdrops will a little bit wasting your time because nowadays airdrops requires you to do many tasks. I cant find a pure airdrop these days, most of them should be called as telegram bounty, social media bounty etc.

Airdrops bounty is just a kind of luck, i participated airdrops 4 months ago such as e prefix of altcoins like ebtc, exrn and lucky had exchange with a higher value like 2 eth per batch of airdrops and i am still holding some of the airdrop bounties because i see some potential of its token like the EXRn where i received 10M tokens from this project.

THe majority will never actually have an any value but some will become worth something. One I have high hopes for is Twist!

Tokens from airdrop maybe have value some day or may have no value because it is just token and token are to be converted to any altcoins or bitcoins and exchange for value for that certain coin being exchange.

If it already has no value then i doubt i will has any in the future so it is better to move on and search for another token / airdrop. Airdrop in general is hit and miss with the miss being higher compared to the time you get something with value so that's why a lot of people prefer bounty compared to it.

General consensus seems to be that some will and some won't. Basic point is don't bother signing up for free airdrops that are only offering a few coins, you're pretty much giving your data away for free. Like some people above have mentioned previously, there are airdrops that have given good returns though. Best way, or the way that I do it anyway, is to check out the project that is offering the airdrop and then decide if you think the company has a decent future, especially if they are offering a large number of coins (even if they are currently at a low value). I missed out on the Polymath airdrop even though I'd signed up for it, because I missed when they announced the registration information (it was I believe 250 free coins which would now be worth over $200 - if I sold them), so you do need to make sure you regularly keep up to date on any social media channels too. Bottom line is that if you choose wisely which airdrops to register for, you will sometimes get lucky; if you sign up for every airdrop out there, you will probably miss catching the best ones. It is necessary to find the way to spend these tokens and buy some popular and cheapest coins. Maybe it'll rise with the time. Such way of providing funds is much better than just holding airdropped tokens untouched.

which tokens? you need to be specific as the it really depends. majority of them never will, but you might get lucky and earn some very decent ROI on airdrops. Just do the research before joining

i don't check those airdropped coins values. hodling them all if a few of them gets value than i will be a rich man this is my simple plan for airdrops
