Although our government does not accept bitcoin transactions, there are still a lot of exchanges made every day with bitcoin in place. Most of these are bitcoin research and investment groups that the government has not identified. I think that countries that do not accept bitcoin should have a better view of their advantages in managing their country's financial system.

Bitcoin exists on the blockchain and it's not country specific. Pretty much everyone can have a bitcoin wallet as long as people have computer/mobile devices and decent internet connection, whether or not the country's government marks it as legal or not. There's no such thing as sort of "X country is not supported by bitcoin" or something along those lines.

Actually it wasn't exist in other country but still bitcoin goes in what we can see. There are countries who let bitcoin existence role inside their boundaries. The business little bit change from fiat to cryptocurrency in slowly but surely hit the center of business that what people dreams in their live the better for daily dealing to payments and others. The countries who doesn't let bitcoin existence role the country until now is still the same. No chance for better dealing to business. I think we don't know what the exact to happen but maybe that is all good for bitcoin.

Hi,

I don't really understand your post. Bitcoin is linked to a technology that knows no border. Of course, governments are trying to implement regulatoins about such technology as as long as it isn't controlled, it can allow people to earn a lot of money without paying taxes on such revenues (that's not their only objective, but let's simplify it this way).

Bitcoin is like... Internet. It cannot "not exist" somewhere. It may be controlled, the websites on which you trade maybe unaccessible but it still exist. It may be hard to reach it but it's there.

If your question is really about borders... Well I guess that even though there were no bitcoin users in... Germany, this wouldn't affect the French users. Or Swiss. Or Italian. You see?

Some countries are affecting bitcoin because of the size of the community that is directly concerned, but there other way round... Well, nobody cares! ;)

I wonder, what if bitcoin doesnt exist in other country? How can affect it in bitcoin?
It depends on how many and how big the countries are. If it is just one country, there will be no significant changes in the attributes of bitcoin. But, let us say that suddenly the US government stops accepting bitcoin, the bitcoin economy will drop by almost 50 percent and there might be a possibility that ethereum will take over. In our country, bitcoin still exists and is still legal. However, the banks in my country have problems with cryptocurrencies and they are getting strict to ATM card owners.

Bitcoin is a decentralized platform, the government may not recognize it's existence as a digital currency and transaction is not allowed, but individual citizens can use it on their own  and benefit from it. only that it is supported by their government.
Bitcoin isn't specific to a country, it is open to all globally so long as you wish it.

What does this even mean? No, really, I'm having trouble deciphering this comment.. Care to use Google translate or something to be able to phrase your question better?
I'm really surprised that other people are able to give you any sort of answer. They must be some really great linguists or something, it blows my mind.

Yes it still does exist in our country although it is not advisable and recommended in our government. Bitcoin in our country are only in this forum and it is not yet used to pay transactions in fast foods or in any other stores. Bitcoin users in our country only exist in forum wherein they used this as their source of income which they were helped financially.

In my country bitcoin is still accepted and lots of organization is going to adapt with cryptocurrency. The government only blocks the ICO that have a bad reputation and warns the public about the possible dangers of cryptocurrency.
There is hot wallet being commonly used in our country and now they will make an cryptocurrency exchange because of rhe amount of people asking for it.
I hope the developments of cryptocurrency in my country will grow more.

A common reason I've read on article and news is mostly that of money laundering, they are afraid of there people involved in this kind of activity, heloooooo???????  People want to that thing if they wanted to, but more people don't want because they want to have a nice life and not be imprisoned.

They can warn their people about it that anyone caught will be directly imprisoned and need to pay a lot of money as punishment, but banning is like stopping everyone to try new things that would improve their life.

Yes of course. Bitcoin exist anywhere or in any country that has internet. I think a more appropriate question is, is Bitcoin being accepted in our country? We'll, despite of all the media FUD's, Bitcoin is still being recognized by a minority and is gradually gaining popularity. People are starting to be aware of its existence. Though skepticism is high, some are actually looking into it.

Cryptocurrency are very welcome here in my place specially with bitcoin it works well and we can easily convert it into fiat money directly to our bank accounts. I still hope that there will be a local exchange here so we can trade better and I think someone working on it now so lets see if our government will support that.

Here in the Philippines, we don't accept bitcoins as mode of payment but you can easily transfer your bitcoin to fiat using coins.ph. You can exchange fiat to btc or vice versa in just a blink of an eye. They are now also adding eth walllet so it will be more easier to transfer funds MEW and other eth wallet. So even companies don't accept crypto as mode of payment, we can easliy encash our crypto's. If you are going to ask where are we going to transfer the money? We can send it to banks and wire money transfers. All we need to wait is for a couple of hours before we can get the money.

Countries are only the users of bitcoin, it has no boundaries even if it is prohibited in some countries like China. Bitcoin operates in blockchain, therefore it has no boundaries or specific countries. Bitcoin is operating and is existing to many countries like Philippines because the government supports it. Bitcoin will continue to exist and will be recognized as the new currency of mankind.

I think some countries still have not stated anything to bitcoin. only some countries are banning bitcoin and only a few that legalize bitcoin and taxes on bitcoins. in my own country bitcoin is still free to use only the state does not interfere with the losses to be earned if using bitcoin as an investment. Here in our country the Philippines the acceptance of the Philippine market to this latest development of technology is still limited but still there were two local companies who were actively promoting bitcoins like the Coins.ph and the Buybitcoins.ph despite many challenges they remain positive that Bitcoin will penetrate larger market in our country since our government doesn't ban Bitcoin rather only regulate it. Only 2.9 % of the total population in our country adopt crypto currencies but still its a big thing compared to other Asian countries.

Today the ways of culture change, the cultural way of doing business, cultural ways of involving in some particular activities, the cultural change of leaders, the cultural took care of some legacy of the old habitats. And when talking about my country against the circumstances of bitcoin, it still prohibits bitcoin from being used as a transaction tool. I wonder, that the other country didnt accept bitcoin.
It is because some country think of bitcoin as a threat in their economy. They don't see the potential of bitcoin and it is because the bitcoins price is unstable and unpredictable. Bitcoin is important especially to us who use bitcoin and gain income from the bitcoin through investing to it. Bitcoin cannpt be accept easily in all country but it is legally use in some country like the USA. Anyway, as long as we use the bitcoin, the bitcoin will continue to exist and raise its value in the market. We just have to promote and use the bitcoin.

Although our government does not accept bitcoin transactions, there are still a lot of exchanges made every day with bitcoin in place. Most of these are bitcoin research and investment groups that the government has not identified. I think that countries that do not accept bitcoin should have a better view of their advantages in managing their country's financial system.

I dont know which one is true among the two reason of government if they ban bitcoin.
First they said the reason because they care to their citizens not to fall to the trap of volatile bitcoin.
Second, someone said that the reason because government can not control it. So which one is true?

So far, here in Holland BTC is still hanging around. The government said recently that they can't forbid it, that you cannot forbid people from collecting whatever they want, like postal stamps or even bitcoin if they want. They have started taxing crypto as of 2017, but have a really weird way to do it, they want to know all the crypto you have on januari 1st and what their worth is at exactly that day as well, januari the 1st. So for example on januari 1st 2017 bitcoins worth was like 800 euros, so over 2017 they taxed it as that, this way is for all your alt crypto etc. So for 2018 whatever all your coins were worth on januari 1st 2018 is going to be taxed as in 2018. So in short, if you did not have any crypto at januari 1st 2017 but later on you did not get taxed, but for 2018 they'll tax you what they were worth on januari 1st 2018, even if you don't have them after that anymore. But don't go into thinking selling all crypto before januari 1st to evade that each time, they will notice this and fine you heavily. In this country everyones bank acount is heavily monitored under a magnifying glass.

Currently my country does not accept bitcoin, but my government does not block the bitcoin trading sites. So we can still buy bitcoin and store bitcoin on the wallets. I hope that my country does not issue a restriction on bitcoin, because my main job is to invest in bitcoin to make a profit.

seem so
because there is no regulation of it here, the btc is still there
nobody care about it now, though they know about bitcoins and blockchain..
but.... still free to use ..

As long as bitcoin are free to use in your country you can earn bitcoin as much as you want. Even other people in your country don't care about bitcoin atleast you care about it and you know how to earn bitcoin.

I dont even worry about this because i am sure more people will use bitcoin day by day.
Bitcoin is very popular and popularity will gain more interest of people so bitcoin will be exist much more longer more than we thought.

indeed there are some countries that really crack down on bitcoin actors both sellers, buyers, and depositors. This crackdown is evidenced by laws and laws governing the official circulation of cryptocurrency in that country. In a country like this, bitcoin is like a drug, which is forbidden but still exists. In addition, there are also countries that only commemorate the dangers of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and claim to not be responsible for any losses incurred. However, other bitcoins and cryptocurrencies still maintain their existence to this day.

Currently Bank Indonesia as the official authority in Indonesia makes it clear that the use of Bitcoin as a tool of money or money is totally illegal and can not be legally accepted.

Responding to the current legality, our freedom should be wiser in viewing the use of virtual money. On one side Bitcoin does offer a variety of conveniences and may also be a lucrative extrafield. But do not get what you get in contrast to the profit you expect.

Bitcoin is universal and some countries do not accept only the transaction and they cannot ban Bitcoin operations like trading or mining. In my country Bitcoin is nor legalized nor banned, it is the banks which makes or force the government to ban Bitcoin or crypto currency to survive their business. This is not permanent and all the countries would accept Bitcoin soon.

Worse yet, the government also became annoyed and continued to ban activities related to bitcoin, however, bitcoin still exists in my country, many people are still making money with it but the buying and selling activities are very secretive and careful.

I wonder, that the other country didnt accept bitcoin.
we all know that more on countries didnt accept bitcoin as a currency but i think someday it gonna make sense to them to accept it.

There are a lot of implications before a country accepts something as their currency. In our case, fiat (or paper money) has been accepted by all countries as the standard medium of exchange since the government of each country views it as the national currency (acceptance) and there is something that backs up its value (which is gold). Another thing to consider is the economic discrepancies among countries. As developed and underdeveloped countries exist, adopting a digitalized currency may be prejudicial to underdeveloped countries as they have priorities to consider before adapting this kind of technical and expensive change.

Yes. Here in the Philippines bitcoin is the most popular when it comes in cryptocurrency exchange. Manu businessmen are trying and working hard to invest in bitcoin. In somw neww papers, tabloids and broad news papers are open to discuss the average of tendecies of bitcoin in our country.

I do agree. Our BSP (central bank) has considered bitcoin as property and not as currency- thus not subject to legal tender. Our government views bitcoin as something that is not a threat and they explicitly mentioned that they may soon adopt and support its implementation.

My country (Singapore) remains one of the few nations in the globe where the usage of the crypto-currency is fully legalized. But I can't say that no problems exist here. There are a lot of politicians who want to ban Bitcoins, even in my country.
Not everyone accepts new technology, so I guess that's a natural thing. Pros and cons will always exist. In my opinion, I think those politicians have a hidden interest. And it's possible that bitcoin will get in their way, or it may hinder them. Politicians always have hidden agendas and veiled intentions in each of their actions. If the reason is just to avoid money laundering, or the payment of illegal transactions, I don't think that's the point.

sad to hear that my friend, but still there is no need to lose hope, maybe it is just temporary, we all knew that they cannot totally banned bitcoin, but instead they can only prohibit the usage of bitcoin or limit the uses of bitcoin, aside from that they cannot totally control bitcoin because it has naturally decentralized. here in our country it hasn't been officially announced whether it is accepted or not, but i have heard rumors that they are already planning on adopting bitcoin.

I wonder, that the other country didnt accept bitcoin.

Hi there jonas5222000! There are several reasons why most of the country did not accept bitcoin as a legal form of currency. One of which is the protection of the government to their people. We all know that there are lot of illegal activities sprouted as bitcoin goes mainstream. By not recognizing bitcoin it add an extra layer of protection to the government to secure the financial aspect of institutions and people.

Yes it still exist in our country. Great, our government do not have bias looking on bitcoin and even our media. Although they feature news about illegal activities done through bitcoin, they do not forget to tell that bitcoin is legit and bitcoin is not the one who does those illegal activities but the people who are using them. So even if there are negative news, they still prove that bitcoin is legitimate through other people's experience.

It really depends if the country accepts bitcoins. Not all countries welcome bitcoins with open arms unlike Japan. The reason behind this is maybe they don't know what to do with it. It only destabilizes the country's financial capability. Try to be the government of your own country and observe when a foreign technology sucks out your funds.

In my county, Bitcoin is accepted. I think that it is legal in our country. Since, there are machines that act like an ATM to withdraw money from your Bitcoin wallet. In this machine, you can cash-in directly to your Bitcoin wallet / PHP wallet (Since I live in the Philippines). Having that machine in almost every convenience store (7/11) in the Philippines serves as a proof that it is legal.

In my opinion, even if Bitcoin isn't legally accepted in a country, people will still use it. Since Bitcoin is decentralized. Government has nothing to do with it. So, it will still exist in every other county. Like ours.

Bitcoin is not specific to a country, it is open to all global as long as you want it. Bitcoin is in the blockchain and it's not a special country. Nearly everyone can have a bitcoin wallet as long as the person has a computer / cellular device and a decent internet connection, does the country's government mark it as legal or not. the government may not recognize its existence as a digital currency and transactions are not allowed, but citizens may use it themselves and benefit from it. only that it is supported by their government.

Most of the countries where bitcoin is restricted or banned are Muslim countries with theological political systems. Yes. Bitcoin is still exist and popular in my country. It has not been really accepted formally and not a legal payment option. People can buy, invest, and hold bitcoin. Also we can join bitcoin related projects but the government doesn't take any responsibility upon any risk incurred in this bitcoin related activities. So all people involved in it will be resoponsible themselves for their decisions to get involved in bitcoin either profit or loss.

Actually i have a lot of news in my country about banned bitcoin because it can lower the economic factor for the country that's what my government thinks. The government and local banks are very supportive to block bitcoin even though i know the reason why local banks want to block with the government. Because local banks are afraid of losing competitiveness with bitcoin.

Although Bitcoin is not available in all countries, its use has spread very quickly. Bitcoin is used in universities and shopping in different countries. Bitcoin will always exist in contrast to the way Bitcoin is reflected in its existence, and its existence will gradually increase. I could say that it could still  exist in the future iif people won’t lose interest in it.

Markets work in cycles. Period.

Don't lose your faith if the correction now takes us back to mid to late 7k as extreme correction to the recent run from 6.5k.

If that happens and it pivots from there, it will be a good buy opportunity for traders.

For the rest of hodlers like me, anytime is a good time to buy 😁
If you need money, break even and sell some or all

If you believe and don't need money urgently, don't waste you four months for nothing.... So hodl.

Your call...

I wonder, that the other country didnt accept bitcoin.

The status of bitcoin in my country are neither fully accepted nor banned it. Government of mine hasn't announce anything regarding the bitcoin. All I know is that many of my fellowmen are still using bitcoin as a means of transactions. Most of us are engaging in bitcoin to earn some and invest in here to have a profits. So I may say bitcoin in my country are still going on and keep on surviving.

What country? Your statement seems kinda vague. Our country still accepts bitcoin because it still proves itself to be reliable despite the numerous scams that occurred. Other country don't accept bitcoin simply because it poses a threat for their economic status which lead to either inflation or deflation of prices. Even so, the majority of the world accepts and adapts cryptocurrency because of its technological capabilities that only a few of us can comprehend.  ::)

Bitcoin is still in existence whether which country you are. You can access it as long as you have the equipment like computer and mobile phones., and also ofcourse internet connection. Other countey just ban the usage of bitcoin, but they cant totally elimanate it. But if those people residing in a specific country that banned bitcoin can still enjoy the bitcoin with its either going to other places that accepted bitcoin or just use some vpns if ever they block the access of the bitcoin. (ofcouse it should be in secret and also you cant use bitcoin in that country and encash is not possible)
