Title: 8000+ unconfirmed transactions by 1 address with many double spends!? Post by: marcotheminer on September 28, 2013, 02:37:49 AM Earlier today I came across this bitcoin address which has sent over 8000 transactions. Each tansaction is around 0.0000025 BTC and for some reason the spam is continuing.
The address is http://blockchain.info/address/1JwSSubhmg6iPtRjtyqhUYYH7bZg3Lfy1T?offset=7800&filter=0 0.0000025 BTC today. http://puu.sh/4BY4x/6f14b95c29.png Double spend!? http://puu.sh/4BY3n/2050478e84.png What I want to know is why would some one do this? This is what happen when a private key is made public. the address maybe receiving very small amounts of coins, from faucets etc, Basically there is a lot of small inputs, so the bitcoin transaction fees to take the money out of there are higher than the amount people try to withdraw, so dont be fooled, this amount will be in a limbo forever or go to the first people that claimed it. You can do what you want.The whole transaction wouldn't need fee added. Only 1 transaction will be put in a block anyway. The miners will choose wich one.
