Title: [WTS] 18x S9's and 16x L3+'s w/ Power Supplies
Post by: cryptoenthusiast3 on March 05, 2018, 09:57:08 PM
Hello, for sale I have 18 S9's that are brand new and just arrived from the March batch, and I have 16 L3+'s that have been running for one month so they're practically brand new. Included comes with enough power supplies to power everything, 18 APW3++ power supplies for the S9's, and 8 APW5's for the L3+'s since you can run two L3+'s per APW5. I'm not new to the crypto world but I'm new to this forum, so I'm only going to accept a trusted escrow to use such as OgNasty, no exceptions, and even then I'm hesitant with whom I trust. I wish I didn't have to sell them right now but I can't afford to run all of these.

I understand that Bitmain has been selling these recently for a much cheaper price, so I'm selling the S9's at $1900 each including the power supplies ($100 cheaper than Bitmain) and I'm selling the L3+'s at $1300 each including the power supplies ($100 cheaper than Bitmain). That's a total of 4.75 bitcoin for everything. I'm only trying to sell this all to one buyer so I'll offer a discount if you buy everything and sell it all for 4.5 bitcoin. This price is subject to change if Bitmain raises the price of their miners or if they go out of stock, so this low price may not be here soon. I'll cover shipping costs if the buyer covers escrow costs, and just so everyone is aware I won't be trusting all of that money to escrow. If the buyer isn't comfortable sending the payment up front I will sell a few of these using escrow so you know I'm serious, then the rest we do without escrow, so I am willing to compromise somewhat. If you're not cool with that don't even bother to message me. PM for more details and more pictures. Inside of the big boxes are 8 power supplies each, that's just how Bitmain shipped them. Thanks!

Sorry, I should have included in the original post. These are located in the US and thus if you live in the EU or anywhere else except US you will have to help pay for shipping, we can split it maybe?

Mind saying where in the US?  That might give you a chance at a local buyer and you can skip escrow all together then.

I wouldn't be comfortable meeting with someone in person, if I were I would have included that idea in my original post.

Can you say what state they will be shipping out of?

Oh absolutely, if the concern is just with shipping costs, they will ship from FL, but like I said if you're in the US I'll cover the shipping costs, you only have to worry about that if you're from outside of US.

What are the speeds on those S9? 13TH? 14TH?

What are the speeds on those S9? 13TH? 14TH?

I should have included that too, sorry. The S9's are 13.5TH and the L3+'s have been kept stock at 504MH. I don't like overclocking my machines because it decrease their lifespan, generates more heat, more noise, etc.

So yeah, the average 24 hour speed of my L3+'s hovers right around 504 MH/s which is good, and the S9's are new so I haven't plugged them in, but they should be under warranty in case anything is wrong with any of them.

Your thread is littered with red flags. You are not comfortable with everything! You don’t want to meet up, claiming you wouldn’t be comfortable meeting someone in person? Are you serious? If you want to scam, scam properly. You want coins sent upfront and if buyers are not comfortable with that, they shouldn’t bother messaging you?

You want 4.5 BTC the quick and easy way. Anonymously too, given you don’t want anyone meeting up and identifying you.

Everyone, use escrow and insist on it. If he refuses, let him sit on his nonexistent S9s. Don’t be gullible and naive. Not everything shown to you represents conclusive and reliable evidence. I don’t mine and have absolutely no idea how mining works or where to buy these miners but if I desperately wanted 4.5 BTC I could quickly pretend I have the goods:

I don't care what you think, and I don't want 4.5 BTC the "quick and easy way", I said I would use escrow to sell the first few machines so the buyer knows I'm not bullshitting and to put forth some trust, and I'll wait for that escrow deal to go through completely before handling the rest to instill some confidence in the buyer, but I just refuse to trust someone like that for that full amount of money. If you don't like it, too bad. I can't be the only one that feels this way.

Just as easily as I took that photo I could have taken a video proving without a doubt that I'm in possession of these machines. I'll get more photos tomorrow and post them here just to prove you wrong because I don't like when people like you come out and accuse people like that. And it's not about not wanting to reveal my identity, it's not wanting to meet with someone from the internet in real life for my own safety. I don't have to explain myself to you or why I don't want to meet with people in real life, I only did that way other people that are actually interested in buying these can hear what I have to say. What gives you the right to accuse me? Just because you don't like the way I want to do business doesn't mean my post is "littered with red flags", it just means you don't agree.

I don't know if anyone messaged me and I didn't receive it because I hit my message limit, but I just purchased a Copper membership so it shouldn't happen anymore, and if I haven't responded to anyone's message please send it again.

Anyway, everything listed is still available. I can't imagine they'll go unsold for long at the price I'm offering... I really don't want them just sitting here collecting dust as you could all imagine.

Sell me an L3+  with a power supply.  I am in New Jersey.

I know a very good escrow.

philipma1957  oh wait thats me.

Not trying to be silly  about the escrow but  If you want to sell one to me  for 1300 with a psu I will buy one and self escrow.

Most people won't want to do what you ask.

Say 1 btc in escrow with someone like me and then 3.5 btc trusting you.

I would offer to do this  sale  in 3x  1.5btc  shipments  if some wants to buy it all.

Then you the op won't  have to trust me for beyond 1.5 btc at anytime.

My escrow fee is 2%  so 2% of 4.5 btc =  0.09btc  plus tx fees  of maybe 0.001  for the 3 part sale.

I would be happy to sell you one directly without escrow to try and help prove myself and that I just want to get these sold, I really appreciate the opportunity, but 1.5 btc is still a lot for me. It may take me longer to sell them this way but at least then I won't have to trust a third party or pay a bunch of fees.

Message me with your price and details then once we get the deal finalized I'll ask that you keep my post here updated to show any potential buyers that you sent me the payment upfront and I shipped the miner the very same day. If I can do a couple smaller deals like that hopefully it will give buyers enough confidence to buy the rest all at once and I can get these sold.

He's not offering to send you payment up front.  He is one of the trusted escrows, he's offering to send you payment after he receives the L3+ from you just like if anyone else bought from you with escrow, they would send him the money first and you'd get it after they received their item.

It is okay I ordered 1 from bitmain.

Also you don’t have to use me or anyone else for escrow. I understand you for not trusting me.

Maybe someone will just send the btc upfront and trust you.

I am out of this as an escrow.

I am seriously tempted by this block of miners but not at those prices and NOT a chance without Escrow. That's how we've done deals in here over and over. Never a problem. Honestly, if you don't like that you should just delete the thread and move on. You're being beyond reasonable. Well beyond...

I'd be happy to work with you and wiggle a little bit on my prices, but I'm not reflecting the prices of my machines based on short term market swings. I'd be willing to negotiate the price if it meant getting them all sold though of course. Also like I said I'm new to this forum, I don't know if deals have been done with "never a problem", you could tell me one thing just as much as someone else could tell me another thing, it doesn't mean I'm being beyond reasonable, it's just how I do business. And like I said before, I'd be willing to escrow the first couple of machines to prove to you that I of course am in possession of what I claim I'm in possession of, and that I'm of course selling what I claim to be selling, but beyond that I'm not sending all my machines to the buyer without the buyer sending me the payment. No hard feelings either way, but I don't feel that just because I want to do business different I should have to delete my thread and move on. I'm willing to be as reasonable as I can be.

Here's the deal. BTC/S9 profitability is $6.00 after electricity. Not so coincidentally, LTC/L3+ is also right at $6.00 per day. I've never bought an ASIC unit that took over 6 months to pay back investment through daily profits. It's just a good rule to live by in this volatile world. Add to that, the Beast Bitmain has flooded the market with stock of the ASIC units. In addition, there is most certainly new technology looming just around the corner. YOU may not be pricing your sales on "market swings" but any halfway astute buyer is. In the 4 days you've been playing this stubborn seller game, you have lost REAL money. By my metric, 3 days ago your units were worth $1,800.00 per. Today that number is $1,080.00. If you want to sell the whole lot, I'll pay you $1,080.00 per set and I will ABSOLUTELY need escrow from a trusted forum member. You're clearly inexperienced in this arena and that does NOT instill confidence.

Or....you can wait a few more days and watch your investment depreciate again, on "short term market swings". I always say, "you cannot impose value on the market, the market imposes value on you." Feel free to use that.

My units aren't worth $1,080 unless I decide to sell them at $1,080. I would sell them at that price if I thought the price of bitcoin/litecoin was never going to recover, but I don't. I'll wait a few days and maybe they'll continue to depreciate, or maybe they'll start to appreciate, you don't know whats going to happen any more or less than I do. The only way I would ever sell them for $1,080 a piece is if you would be willing to send me the payment upfront, that's the only way I would EVER go that low. I'm not inexperienced in this arena, I'm just not going to sell them at that price unless you make it a good deal for me too. I'm not even playing the "stubborn seller game" either! I said originally that I would be a little flexible with my prices! What I won't be flexible with is how I want to do the deal itself, not the prices. Let me know if you change your mind about escrow if you want to get these units for a steal at $1,080 per unit before the price of bitcoin/litecoin goes back up and these go for twice that. Like I said I'll escrow the first couple of them to show you I have what I have and I'm not messing around.

Why not just escrow them all and specify the buyer pays escrow?  Problem solved.   No one is going to pay you upfront even if you do sell a few of them through escrow first, it's just not a smart move on the buyers part.

Because I don't want my miners not in my hands and all that money not in my hands either. Like I said I'm willing to escrow the first couple of miners because the monetary value wouldn't be excessive, and to prove that I have these machines and I want to sell them, but beyond that I wouldn't feel good about it. I'm willing to give a good price to anyone willing to work with me here, so it's not like I'm asking this of the buyer without them getting a good deal out of it too. It is what it is, I'm sure I'll eventually be able to find someone willing to work with me here...

I highly doubt you are going to find anyone here who is going to pay you up front with crypto without escrow even if you sell them a few through escrow first.  Selling someone a few units through escrow proves you have a few units, doesn't prove you are going to send them the rest if they pay you up front.  Trust isn't built after doing escrow for a few units.  What's to stop you from keeping the money and running after you go through the escrow for the first few?   You would be better off just selling a few at a time on here using escrow and not trying to sell them all at once.

That's fine, if I don't find a buyer in the next couple of days I'll be finding somewhere to run them instead of selling them, so if anyone wants an extremely good price on hardware while crypto is on the decline, here is your chance.

I sent you a PM. Maybe do this in tranches through escrow, to your comfort level? 10, 10, and 14 or 17 and 17? Just a thought. I made other suggestions in the PM.

I think OP try to pull out a scam  ;D ;D ;D
Tactic is little bit advanced and sneaky but if you put puzzle together it's much more likely a scam ...
Even if he have all stock so WHAT!!!! He can just take coins and never ship it.... if he push to make payment for everything without escrow. He deny local pickup ok I understand it can be somehow tricky... but I offered to split it up meet in public place with few miners it's not a big deal... then how cars are sold ??? Nobody ask payment before see car and nobody is afraid to show. BS this not comfortable. Difficult to put in car 1 or 2 miners and come to meet in my place or your chosen??? Total BS!!!
other people offer to meet up for 5000 miners???!!! Why they are comfortable??? Well it's real deal with real price...

OP why you order miners if you don't have a place to host them???
BTW of course in USA are plenty datacenters who host miners mentioned in this forum
What is your problem? Why you ordered in first place? To sell for less price??
Doesn't make sense at all...
Thread full of warnings

You're not saying anything that others haven't already said, so I'm not going to bother to try and rationalize my every decision to you. If you're not interested, move on. Your English needs some work too.

I don't think he's trying to scam, I just don't think he's comfortable with 30k+ in the hands of an escrow.   These are probably best sold locally when it comes down to it and just meet at the police station or somewhere super public.

More than likely the OP is going to be keeping them because no one is going to touch the concept he's trying to use to purchase them all.

I offered that. To no avail. If lump sum in escrow is not comfortable, why not do separate tranches. Smaller lots. 10 10 10 or 5 5 5 5 5 5 etc? Id really like to do this deal but it's just not an acceptable risk by his terms. The risk there is all mine.

After much back and forth with this individual or individuals, based on some inconsistencies in dialogue, it is my strong gut feel that this is a scam. Make your own decisions but I wouldn't touch this situation. Likely a couple of "resellers" that bought a bunch of miners for $2700 plus PSU's from Bitmain and now they're screwed and can't get rid of them. So they cooked up this plan to escrow 1 or 2 machines and then try and get a chunk of money for the rest and run. Rinse and repeat. Beware.

Inconsistencies such as?

You can draw any conclusion you want, doesn't make any of it factual. I'm not a reseller, I don't have a partner, and I'm not screwed if I can't sell them. I would prefer to get rid of them, but if I can't make a deal then it's not the end of the world.

no no he will not meet me in public even with one miner because I will put gun to his head and come to his house to steel remaining miners Lol
Even in biggest central police station he will not meet I'm sure :D because police may be corrupt and they will also put gun to his head :D

Yes this is clever scam more advanced
1) price is more or less real
2) He even have stock pics look real
3) offer couple units escrow
4) Gain little bit trust take big chunk and run away :D
@ OP you didn't answer why you sell in first place why order from bitmain and then sell immediately at loss? You didn't think about hosting solution before order

simply put:

if you cannot confirm the identity of the person and have some assurances then never deal without escrow.
even if you manage to get some assurances, then never deal with a new user, as they have nothing to lose if their account is compromised.
as others have said before me, this thread seems fishy...

I'm selling them because I would rather sell them then host them. Of course I thought about hosting. I said here on this thread yesterday that if I didn't sell them I would just host them, no big deal, I would just rather sell them is all.

But if you would rather sell them than host them, why buy them in the first place only to sell at a loss?

I friend I trust has offered me a S9 with PSU he just got from Bitmain this week, for 0.16 BTC, which is $1,504 right now.  My existing S9's are struggling to make $10 right now before power, and if difficulty continues at the current trajectory and BTC price remains around $9,400, it's game over by October, at which point I will have only earned back about $750.  So the future is looking pretty bleak right now unless BTC starting picking up again, AND difficulty stays in check.

Unfortunately I didn't have the ability to look into the future months down the road and see how little they would be going for now.

I'm not wasting anyone's time, and I'm not forcing people to click on my thread. I also said I would use escrow initially, so really I'm not asking anyone to send that much money upfront without escrow or without any confidence.
