Title: What do you miss about crypto?
Post by: hardnight on March 07, 2018, 05:16:00 PM
What is that thing that cryptos don't have and you would like to see they would have it?

What do you miss about crypto world?

I miss that they don't accept it already in real world. For coffee or so... We are still in investment state.

What I really miss is the acceptance by politics. Politicians should really start to look into the whole crypto world.
They should start to understand how the cryptocurrencies could be used in everyday life. At least in Germany, I don't see any politician talking about Bitcoins oder Altcoins because they just ignore it.
It's seen as a trend that will disappear soon, but that's not the case. Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and will be developped further.

Might be accepted by most of the countries? if the cryptocurrencies would be accepted by most of these countries we will have a massive wolrdwide and we are the early adopters would be millionaires to billionaires, that is the thing that cryptocurrencies need to have, a full adoption or atleast to be accepted by most of these countries.

Politicians are actually accepting it. If you are current with the crypto news than recently the CFTC chairman of US made very positive comments regarding cryptocurrencies and basically gave his green light to the cryptocurrencies.

Mostly now cryptocurrencies need acceptance and adoption. It needs to be possible to pay for many things with cryptocurrencies and then they can come closer to their ideal. I would also like if all countries followed the path of Germany and declared them legal tender so that spending with them is not taxable.

Crypto is still developing and moving up steadily.  I really wish to see the day that everyday transaction in all services and payments will be done in crypto. This will be when the acceptance of crypto has reached the utmost part of the whole earth. I look forward to that day.

Yes. We would be millionaires because we are early adopters. Then again you must choose the right crypto token. Who do you think it will be accepted worldwide?

A lot of ICO are great and will change the world. I find it obscure that ICO are taking $25M as funding to their project. That's insane. $1M is a looooooot of money and it could easily fund the whole project.

I don't like the fact that businesses are using crypto world ICO as a Kickstarter platform.

I missed it when other countries are still accepting trading and investing on cryptocurrency. It really helped the marked demand rise a lot. I really think that mass adaptation of cryptocurrency would ease everything and bring convenience not just to people but also business establishments and the government.

Politician are investing in cryptocurrency but some of them don't want to fully and openly acknowledge because it might influence a lot of people and the local bank might also be affected.
To OP, what I really missed about cryptocurrency is the unpredictable price of all cryptocurrency and it unstable price. If this issue can be fixed then probably we investors can know when to invest and when not to. But alas, I guess this can never happen.

There are projects out there that are solving unstable prices. I personally like Xaurum coin, because it is gold-backed and in the same time the ratio between gold and token rise and when it does, it can never decrease. So I can not loose my investment and in the same time I can only profit. I hold this token for long-term.

Some limitations that cryptocurrencies may encounter  such as the fact that a person's digital fortune can be erased by the destruction of a computer device, or a virtual vault that can be looted by hackers - can be overcome in the future through technological advances. What may be difficult to overcome is the basic paradox of cryptocurrencies - when it becomes more popular, regulation and government oversight will become increasingly tight, which could ultimately undermine the fundamental premise for the existence of cryptocurrencies.
While the number of stores receiving cryptocurrencies is increasing, cryptocurrencies are still very rare. In order for cryptocurrencies to be more widely used, they must first gain widespread acceptance among consumers. However, their relative complexity compared to conventional currency is likely to deter most people from possessing it, except for technologically advanced ones.
Cryptocurrency that aspires to be part of the main financial system may have to meet very diverse criteria. This will require complex mathematical strategies (to avoid fraud and hacker attacks) but also easy for consumers to understand, decentralized but with adequate consumer protection and protection, and maintain user anonymity without engaging in tax evasion, money laundering and other malicious activities. Since this is a formidable criterion that must be met, is it possible if the most popular cryptocurrency in a few years time can bridge the gap between fiat currencies and current cryptocurrencies? As far as possible, there is little doubt that as a leading cryptocurrency today, the success of Bitcoin (or its inability) in facing the challenges it faces can determine the fate of other cryptocurrencies in the coming years.

Well, for me, it is absolutely he fact that the media are not telling the whole truth about crypto currencies and are making it look bad. It would be really nice if they told the whole story and not just the bad things. Also, the legalization of it to be implemented so that everyone can freely choose to invest on bitcoins and use them without the fear of breaking any laws. Another one is for transactions to be fast and have very low fees. It would also be nice to be able to make transactions offline and just have all the information sent to the block chain when the people making transactions go online.

I would want to see crypto's that be well accepted all throughout the world and not limited only to those countries that do not ban cryptocurrencies. Another thing, I would gladly want crypto's to emerge in the market with more increase in the price value and lesser dips to happen. Lastly, I would have want cryptocurrency to be much safer that is saved on your wallet and free from being hack.

The majority of cryptocurrency users want a quick and cheap transaction. The most important currency was and remains bitcoin. There are many altcoins that have solved these problems but the use of cryptocurrencies to settle for goods will start with bitcoin. Now everyone is a hostage of bitcoin. Unfortunately it turned out to be the most conservative coin which is not ready to modernization.

The thing that I am currently missing about crypto world is that many crypto currencies that are being made and founder are of no utility in the real life and don’t really have any real applications. The crypto currencies are not trying to connect the outside world with blockchain technology and help it expand, they are usually of no utility other than privacy function or cheap transactions or faster transaction speed. What we need today are innovative ideas of bring blockchain technology to main stream whether in centralized or decentralized way.

There are very solid reasons that governments are not accepting cryptos as currencies. Crypto are decentralized which means the transactions are private and anonymous. This makes it difficult for governing party to take actions against illegal activities and scams that might occur using these digital coins.

Government are developing and regulating them but are considering them just as an asset rather than currency which seems a pretty fair decision to me. If crypto assets are legalised and made a currency, the country will go under chaos, accumulation of black money and people will not pay their taxes.

Haha. Not just you, I am sure that everyone on crypto community misses the opportunity of buying at the cheapest price. Though the best time for buying has gone, these are still the good ones to buy as the market is in a dip/correction and is most likely to recover in the upcoming months and see a bullish trend. So, this is the time one must invest in cryptos if he missed the train for the first time.

Indeed, there are lot of ICO launching, but very less of them have real use and purpose and the rest are just scam projects to rip off people’s money. Believe in coins that have real world applications.

They are already accepted by maximum countries across the globe, but just as an asset and not a currency. Cryptos and their exchanges are being regulated in many countries now.

There will surely be mass adoption of cryptos, but it will only be as an asset(store of value) like gold and stock markets of companies and not as a currency. Government will never accept a decentralized platform based coin to prevail as a currency.

What I really miss in cryptocurrencies is the politicization of the digital currencies because as cryptocurrencies is not yet generally accepted and adapted by country it is seen as an illegal technology and the political arena is cleared of it but if cryptocurrencies gain popularity and acceptability now it will become easy of political elite to use it for political motive and at the end the market will be spice up a little.

we must take the good side of government policy to ban all transactions in every country that provides that policy, which we consider to narrow the bitcoin space for us. Maybe we ourselves still do not understand about the bad effects of bitcoin security, and the balance of state finances. and of course the government is looking for the right solution for shared comfort.

What is that thing that cryptos don't have and you would like to see they would have it?

What do you miss about crypto world?

I miss that they don't accept it already in real world. For coffee or so... We are still in investment state.
to be honest there is nothing I miss besides the high price of crypto, such as bitcoin which is in its highest price and ethereum which is at its highest price in such moments I am very optimistic in working

It's hard to know everything about cryptography. It takes a lot of time and a good follow up. Being patient is very important. If you are not patient, you will lose a lot.

Created rules that benefit a country or owner of crypto and set as digital asset storage suggestions, With the public knowing this ,, is expected to understand the crypto and maybe altcoin prices will always increase every year.

It would be great once there's a system in place that allows you to spend your crypto freely pretty much anywhere in the world, just like you can with your debit or credit card. I know some similar cards are in the works but they still seem to be a way off before this is mainstream. Hopefully this is one direction crypto will go though!

What I miss is the rise of harha crypto because it can provide an opportunity for profit. If the harha rises then the investors will be happy to see it.

a lot of things start sorely missed in crypto. ICO, bounty, real and true for pay. low prices with the big increase that could make big gains could come at any time. However, the longer the change remains and certainly have a positive purpose. We just follow the existing developments in the crypto, crypto for the future is better.

The crypto world is so open and wide that it is not possible to know everything and to be in control of the market. If you have money in hand and want to evaluate this money, find a Altcoin and buy it.

I missed the cheapest price of cryptocurrency. I was too late to join.

If I could have joined earlier I would have bought bitcoin at a very low price.
