Let me share you a story. This story is full of misery but every other story it has a happy ending. That was like more than year and a half ago. I was new in crypto world and i started to work on how to earn botcoin. Btc price was valued by 500 dollar and i had few mbtc got those from performing video campaign jobs crypto-games.net tutorial review video and rollin.io help me to gather some amount of btc.
Price was rising. And i was new i didnt had dollars or didnt had the courage to invest in fear of loosing money so i cashed it price gone up to 1000. And i had no dollars with me so i can make invest.
Later on i had earned btc by exchanging other cryptos to btc and sell it to 1000 dollar i was happy  that i made a right decision. Price gone up to 2000 dollars from 1500 and i felt like damn man!!! Then i decided i aint gonna sell btc at all.
I had like 250mbtc by then valued of 500 dollars. All was earned. I hold it tightly and long awaited decision was worthy of it. I had 2500 dollars left with me. I sold those coins by 10000 too much greed is a sinful thing.
So hold the Coins. This the best time to buy some btc. If you can then grab some. If you got some then hold it tightly. There is nothing which can stop bitcoin. Quoted by billgates.

I liked your story. It showed how indeed holding your BTC is a good strategy nowadays since the price is somehow rising. Back then I can say that if you invest, and hold on 'til now, with the right strategy you'll earn even more than what you invested on. I got BTCs myself, and I'm keeping them until the right time to exchange them for FIAT.

I agree with your opinion, I will buy at a cheap price like this and will hold it up a few fold, and I'm sure bitcoin will always be safe for the future, I agree with your statement.

I fully agreed,buying from these dips will surely give us more profits when the market has started to climb back to its position.Panicking when the market has started to fail will only worsen the situation because most of the people including you will sell their bitcoins,most of the peopld doesnt see this is just a good opportunity so you can purchase or aquire more of these bitcoin in cheaper price.

We really need to invest and hold bitcoin until the price reaches a very high peak, I think bitcoin is the currency of the future, and I hold bitcoin for sometime.

Hahahaha. Well planned mate. Yeah i could have earned some more. Like 20k was the total shock. I really regret for that. You know what throughout my journey i have learned a lesson very important lesson which have changed the perception of my learnings of life.
To hold it you need to believe it. You know what why these panic sales actually took place cause still people doesnt believe in btc. They fear Olampus might Fall. I have kept my faith in btc as i have seen the true potentials of btc. How extreamly people are using it. It will be boom in a while.i am sure.

Now you know why the power of hodl only works for a few, it is because the others cave to whatever pressure is on them. It is much easier to fend off that pressure if you actually believe in the technology and what Bitcoin means.

We just hold btc because it can save us for our upcoming future finances for our selves and family to build our dreams come true

in principle how we choose a good and targeted trading methods
there are two things you can choose
1 # Short-term trading; by leveraging the BTC turbulence but we need to learn the theory of trading and be able to master mental emotions
2 # long-term trding: by investing our money into BTC or by following the bounty hunter and storing the result into BTC with long term but it is very difficult to develop the assets we have because we only wait for months

I agree with you. This is a good story and a lesson for new entrants into the cryptocurrency market. Hodl Coin is the process of investing in a coin that you expect to grow in the long run. Not every hodl is successful, not properly cultured, yielding very low profits and even losses. Therefore, I myself believe that bitcoin is the right choice for hold and I fully agree with you.

You can never go wrong by just hodling bitcoins. If we look at the charts than every single year except one, a person would had been in the plus had he invested and hodled bitcoins.

Exactly, people should keep holding their bitcoins without any fear of losing money and panic selling. Your story is a pretty good example, as you keep holding and don't look at the drops and have patience you'll get a lot of profit from your money invested. People who panic sell because of the drops like the one which happened recently are the only ones suffering from loss.

I think, now is the best time to buy btc. I'm sure Bitcoin will always be safe for the future. BTC Hold is safe and I hope Bitcoin will soon reach 25k usd.

Of course,hold it all the way,when the price fall,buy and buy more.If you need money just take some,don't exchange it all.I would recommend to make 2 separate wallet,one for short term investment and the other for the long term investment.With that strategy,you wouldn't lose much.

Very true. The best thing we can do when it comes to bitcoin is to buy when the price goes down and then hold. Panic selling does not do the market any good, just inflicts further damage.

Lesson learned.
Have the same experience and now I will just keep on holding.
There will always be bad times but the good thing is you will learn from it.

This should be kept in mind especially when the market value is falling. Actually, there's really nothing to be worried of since backdrops are just part of Bitcoin's volatility and is something that is experienced by most of the cryptos. Also, dumos in the market are not permanent. As such, increase will soon take over and that is an enough reason to invest in Bitcoin , now that the market price is low.

Well, there is some confusion about the investment of cryptocurrency whether it's bitcoin or altcoin. The confusion that occur are:
1. whether the bitcoin will actually go up so I should be able to continue to hold my bitcoin.
2. if i sell now, will the price still go down so i can buy it back
3. if i don't sell it now, i will lose 100% profit, but if the price keeps up, i can get more profit

this is all a matter of uncertainty. the best decision is a decision taken realistically in accordance with the reality that occurs without involving prediction or speculation.

We can earn more profits as long as we are holding our bitcoins,yes we need to remember the price of bitcoin at 2011 and now if you still don't believe in holding will give success then you will worry in the future,Bitcoin price may hit $100K or more in 2020 in my opinion.

Holding bitcoin is always a great choice.Now the price of bitcoin is very low.So everyone should hold their bitcoin until the price is rise again.And also if you have some money you will invest it in bitcoin. 8)

I wish a lot of newbies in this industry would be able to read your post so that a they can get the lesson out of your experiences and be inspired to really work hard to earn, search a lot for answers before believing fuds and so much more. I too had the same experience and would've been glad if this was already present by then when I was just starting out so that I never would've panic sold. But anyways, lesson learned. HODL!

It's not only the whales who are making the price drop. Negative news and Google banning crypto related ads keep in investors away or they are waiting on the G20 discussion on cryptocurrencies this month. Indeed, hold the btw, because after the regulations institutional investors will start investing and the price will increase for sure.

20000 was definitely a surprise for everyone I do not think there was anyone that predicted the price will grow so much in such a short amount of time, I liked your journey because it reflects what we all go through its very difficult to hold even if we know that is the right choice there are so many things that happen in the market that makes it very difficult but those that are able to do it will get great profits so we need to learn to tune out and forget about all the criticism of the media an hold our bitcoin no matter what.

Bitcoin will begin to grow when the mass hysteria and the discharge of the cue ball in other currencies or in the dollar stop. When willing to buy it again will be more than willing to sell. When personally you go and buy bitcoin for long-term storage, and not in order to transfer it into a ripple or other rubbish. Everything is simple and obvious.

Right now that the price of bitcoin is beginning to rise its better to hold your bitcoin then wait for the right time to sell it to gain a big profit who knows next month you can have it.

yes, that's what we have to do to keep our bitcoin until the price will rise even higher, so when yesterday the bitcoin price drops we have to buy it and hold it, maybe we'll get more profit we'll get, but most when bitcoin decreases a lot of people with panic and sell their bitcoin, even though they suffered a loss.

Holding is definitely prosperous, but requires guts and patience. But I think most of the people who are into crypto should have realized this by now that panic selling is bad and holding is where the most can be made in bitcoin especially.

Your story is very inspiring me. Actually, I buy bitcoin when the price touches $ 6000. I had money at that time around $2000 because I got from bounty and airdrop, a very nice job. And now I have invested in bitcoin even a little bit, I will hold as much as I can and my target is if my profit from $ 2000 to $ 12000 I will sell it.

HOLD your btc and take time to invest further if there is a bear market where you can buy at a lower price. With bitcoin, you may able to
gain potential profit for as long as you had to keep holding it and don't get distracted if this might drop again. Bitcoin will probably make a bull run that is expected to happen within the year surpassing the highest it had reached last Q4 of 2017.

Nice story of yours, It inspires me and a lot of us here. I hope those newbies out there will also learn how to hold their btc or other coins and learn to love every price decrease of coins that they have. I hope they will see the potential profit of every coins that has a price decrease today. Bitcoin will surely have a huge come back in just a couple of months.

After the ghost month (August), I will expect a gradual rise in BTC price. Experience dictates us that every December the price goes unexpectedly high. I strongly agree to HODL and enjoy the rewards soon.

Holding bitcoin for long term is one of the best option to gain profit if you cant actively or dont have time to focus in your investment and check the prices.

The growth of btc for the past years tells how well the bitcoin has progressed in the market and it can also happen in the future thus this is an indication that hodling is really worth it and profitable.

Dont mind the price you see currently if its not what you expected it to be because the market is too volatile, if you want to earn good amount then be patient and be optimistic for the future value.

I also believe in growth of crypto market in the future. So, i agree with you,  buy btc or altcoin with a 'good price',  and save them in my wallet,  like a "asurrance fund"

Long term investment is worth with bitcoins, I'll probably trust bitcoins in the future that I will benefits the profit of bitcoins. Buy low and sell high if you want to profit it, but I would suggest that buy and HODL bitcoins in near future it will be boom and gain a lot of it... it will be someday just be patient and take time to earn more bitcoins.

In my opinion, just be patient and wait for the best time to sell. We all know that the price is still low for the past 4 months but there's nothing we can do but to just hold. That is only a paper loss not until you withdrew it. Don't be discourage about dips but instead, take that opportunity to invest additional Bitcoin and just hold. Like what is happening to me that, I just bought another coins and hold which is the basic strategy-- buy low. Happy holding!

For  Long term investor, holding BTC is the best decision you can ever make. the returns i will fetch you over a long period of time is probably better than what you would get through trading or another means.
